Moto Casino, America's social casino. mojo on the morning show our thoughts and prayers to everybody that got affected by the tornado that was ripping through uh toledo yesterday i thought for sure that that tornado was going to rip through pretty much most of the area there through monroe and and all the way through toledo and it kind of hit a specific spot um and when megan you actually i was on the phone with scott sands and we were doing a Taylor Swift giveaway on 92.5 KISS FM, which, by the way, you can win tickets to see Taylor Swift in Cincinnati on KISS. And at the time, he's like, yeah, we're going to call a winner. And I go, Scott, there's tornado sirens rolling through the area.

00:03:02 - 00:03:02 | Unknown:

I know.

00:03:03 - 00:03:24 | Speaker 6:

I know. Although, you know what? Honestly, after seeing what Taylor Swift was like last week for everybody here, it potentially would have been okay. Here's your contest. If you survive through the tornado, you get Taylor Swift tickets. You don't get swifted away. Oh, my God. Listen, come on, man. Y'all got to laugh. See, I mean, like, seriously.

00:03:25 - 00:03:26 | Speaker 4:

It's starting to get a little ridiculous.

00:03:26 - 00:03:46 | Speaker 6:

I got to be honest with you. I spent most of my life laughing at jokes that weren't funny. I'm not laughing at your joke right now. How is that not funny? Swifted away? You're talking about Taylor Swift? He's a big man. If you have to ask, it's not funny. I just, all right, whatever. I thought you were funny. Listen, when you did the moves like Jagger this morning, you had me laughing. That joke was not funny.

00:03:46 - 00:03:49 | Speaker 2:

You know what? That was good. You can't all be...

00:03:49 - 00:03:58 | Speaker 6:

They can't all be jamming. What? What? Thank you. I got the thumbs up. This man is a pawn shop guy. He's going to say anything to you to get the deal.

00:03:58 - 00:03:59 | Unknown:

What are you talking about?

00:04:00 - 00:04:13 | Speaker 6:

A mile pawn is going to sell... They're going to buy or sell anything. They'll tell you everything is good. You buying a joke or you selling it? How much would you pay for that? As less as possible. There you go.

00:04:13 - 00:04:16 | Speaker 5:

Sometimes you got to tell the joke for the one person in the car.

00:04:16 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 6:

dying laughing and just know that you made that person text in and tell me it was funny please all right listen so everybody everybody though doing a little cleanup today thank you guys so much and uh for having us on and obviously you know keep listening uh as we uh on kiss in uh in toledo gonna be doing some things for you but it's it's pretty wild that storm fast and furious and then i don't know if you guys saw um the storms i think that hit like texas yesterday were really bad too so there's some really vicious storms that were coming our way this weekend though looks nice doesn't it so nice yeah i temperatures what was it last week 80s oh yeah so it's gonna be nice um

00:05:00 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 1:

Did your brother get into his accident or his little thing during the storm time? Or was this before that storm happened?

00:05:06 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 2:

Oh, let me tell you. I thought that tornado touched down in South Toledo when I felt my house shaking. But it wasn't from the tornado. It was from my brother hitting my house with my car. With my car. What? My car. Not even his car. It was my car. so um my brother has been trying to help me out which i this this story i swear to god starts in a nice place i keep trying to remind myself like he was trying to do something nice he was trying to do something nice but i have a lot of things on my to-do list right now that just are not getting done and he was like you know what i'm gonna help her out i went home from the show early yesterday i slept literally all day i got medicine and slept all day and i woke up around 6 p.m., 6 p.m., to my house shaking because he was trying to rearrange the cars. Now, let me tell you, let me tell you, Kevin, about my house. I have a special place in my house where I know that one day it's just going to crumble and I'm going to be very happy when that day happens because this house brings me pain, not pleasure.

00:06:14 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 1:

Will you be in the house or out of the house when it crumbles?

00:06:16 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 2:

Hopefully out, but you know what? At this point, who cares?

00:06:19 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 1:

I was going to say, that will determine how happy you are that your house crumbled.

00:06:23 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 2:

I mean, sometimes it's like, well, if it happens, it happens. But literally, I have a one-car garage, and my family have, you need to know, we hoard one thing, and one thing only, and it's crappy vehicles. And so we have a plethora of vehicles. Most don't work at my house, and one-

00:06:45 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 1:

They're that house that you ever drive by their home, and you feel like they're having a party, but they're not? It's just that's how many cars they have?

00:06:52 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 3:

How many do you have right now at your house? Four.

00:06:55 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 1:

So it's four. Four with you and your brother as the only drivers, right?

00:06:59 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 3:

Okay. And then your dad's got a few and you've got, yeah. Okay. But they're in other places.

00:07:04 - 00:07:18 | Speaker 1:

By the way, are you scrapping these? Because sometimes I wonder, are we making money doing something with these? Or did you purchase these? They broke down and instead of just getting rid of them or trading in the junk, You just said You know what Maybe I'll fix it up one day

00:07:18 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 2:

So here's Where I don't know If this gets sketchy or not A man came up to my house Offering to buy One of the cars Oh really Yeah Which is why We were moving them around Is because Sell sell sell The one that he's trying to buy Doesn't currently work So we needed to move All of the vehicles Out of the way To like get it lower In the driveway So if he comes with A tow bed or whatever He can just take it and go Which is why this happened My brother's trying to be nice Well it doesn't work And he was rolling it And he was pushing it and trying to drive it at the same time and he didn't realize that the wheel was turned so it comes out of my garage and just smokes the side of my house. Yes. Damage.

00:07:55 - 00:07:56 | Speaker 3:

A lot of damage.

00:07:56 - 00:07:57 | Unknown:

A little bit.

00:07:57 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 3:

Just a little bit. Not a lot, baby girl. Just a little bit.

00:08:00 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. Sounded like 50 cent there for a second. By the way, I will tell you that I've always wanted to drive a car through a house. Like, do you ever see that? You know, you see it in a movie and stuff? Like, I've driven through my garage by not putting it up in the morning and leaving, and I've hit the garage, and that's not, like, no fun. But you see these people that will drive through a home.

00:08:23 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 3:

My mom drove through a laundromat one time, like, actually, when she was just learning how to drive. Yeah, seriously, thought it was in reverse, and it was in drive, and she drove right through.

00:08:33 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Yeah. Whenever you see those people that do that, I go, God, you know, tell me what it was like. What was the first thing on your mind? like oh crap or with the first thing on my mind like holy crap i just like i'm in my living room you know what i mean one of those type of things um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 if you've ever driven by the way through any kind of a building or a house you got to call us up because i've always wanted to ask you guys questions on this so did you guy come to buy the car or take the

00:09:03 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 2:

i think he's gonna look at it this week which one is is the jeep it's one of the jeeps okay

00:09:07 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 1:

yeah yeah megan's got like what year is that the one that i'm trying to sell is a 1999 That's a great year, too.

00:09:15 - 00:09:23 | Speaker 2:

It actually, I love that vehicle. I absolutely adore that vehicle. And lots of people want to take care of them and put effort in money. It's worth it.

00:09:23 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:09:24 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely.

00:09:24 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

I love the fact that you talk about your cars, but I'm so glad that you live in Toledo and I live in the metro Detroit area because if you were my neighbor, you would be the neighbor that Chelsea and I have. Do you see what they just did? We got a neighbor that lives not that far from us And they have 8,000 cars in their driveway And the thing that drives me nuts about it Is they'll park their car sometimes On the street And they'll park them on the street And it's like Legos Trying to drive through Like you're trying to

00:10:00 - 00:10:20 | Speaker 8:

fit pieces and try to figure out how it's going on and you know they're great people they're really really nice people but it's like okay there's like how many cars here right now like it is like i almost feel like we need to have like a traffic light in front of their driveway just to be able to figure out how it is that we're going to get through the thing my house was built

00:10:20 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 4:

when most people didn't even have cars or if they did they had a car for the family like it was not It meant for me to be there, for sure.

00:10:27 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 8:

Real quick, Tammy, before you tell us your story, I've got to pick up Cy, because Cy wants to say something. What's that, Cy?

00:10:34 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 4:

Kev, I thought that was hilarious. No, you didn't. No, you didn't. You lied.

00:10:39 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 8:

Get off our phone. Cy knows funny. Cy. Oh, God. He was left at that. Cy, who's your favorite comedian that stars in movies?

00:10:51 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I don't know. That's a tough one.

00:10:53 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. Yeah, if you tell me that you think David Spade is the funniest guy in the world, I'm hanging up on you. Mojo in the morning, what's up, Tammy?

00:11:05 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 6:

Hey, guys, good morning.

00:11:06 - 00:11:07 | Speaker 8:

Good morning, what's going on?

00:11:07 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 6:

Real quick, I was about 12 years old. My aunt was trying to teach me how to drive the car, and I got confused which one was the gas and the brake, and I drove it right through her garage. Oh, my God, I was, like, hysterical. I ran up to the room. I was freaking out. I felt so bad. She was like, hey, honey, it's okay. You found termites. We're just going to redo the garage.

00:11:31 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 8:

So you actually hit the garage so hard that the termites started falling out.

00:11:36 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 6:

Yep. So it got redone.

00:11:39 - 00:12:23 | Speaker 8:

Wow. My favorite used to be when Drew and Mike used to be on the air on Riff, and you'd hear the stories every morning of Mike's not in yet, And the reason was Mike would drive through his garage all the time And I talked to Drew years later And I said to Drew I go That was legit right He goes oh no We had a garage guy that was on call Because Mike would drive through his garage so much And the story that I heard one time And I don't know if this is a fact I'm actually going to go to a Tigers game next week with Drew I got to ask him about it That he drove through his garage And actually went through the garage at one point And couldn't open up his doors because the garage parts Like, it literally was, his car was trapped by the garage. I'll have to ask and see if that's a true story and let you guys know. What's up, Renee?

00:12:24 - 00:12:48 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. Hi. First time caller, long time listener. Oh, yay. So, long, well, short story, but I was 21 years old. I was driving a Cabriolet. It was like a 1987 clunker, and I had on big, high-heeled shoes. And I thought I was parking at my apartment complex, but I was not parking. I hit drive and ran right over the curb and hit the pool cabana at my apartment complex.

00:12:49 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 8:

Oh, no.

00:12:49 - 00:13:00 | Speaker 5:

I was absolutely mortified, and I went and told the landlord, and he was like, you know what? Here's the deal. Everybody does something stupid once in their life, but you are not allowed to wear high-heeled shoes while you're driving.

00:13:02 - 00:13:09 | Speaker 8:

I would think that, and I don't, you know, because I don't wear high-heeled shoes, but you can't wear those driving, can you? Have you guys ever?

00:13:09 - 00:13:21 | Speaker 5:

No, not anymore. I'm a tennis shoe wearer now. I've never done that again, but I was completely mortified. Oh, my God. I thought I was going to get kicked out of my apartment complex. It was, yeah, it was fun. Wow. Lesson learned.

00:13:21 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 8:

Thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

00:13:23 - 00:13:25 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you guys have a great day. Thank you. All right.
