A little girl with a big story to tell.

00:01:31 - 00:01:42 | Speaker 8:

It's the Mojo in the Morning show. Megan's brother. Let's do this topic. We'll do the topic right now with Megan with your brother. What was in your food that you found out that you ate? What happened with your brother?

00:01:42 - 00:02:08 | Speaker 9:

So I was over at his house this weekend, and I decided to cook some dinner for us. And, God, I haven't cooked in that kitchen in forever because if you didn't know, it's the house that I used to own. and i was going through drawers trying to find some i left so much stuff behind when i moved anything i didn't want that was the best part about having a family member by your house is like anything you didn't want you just left it behind you didn't have to get rid of it you didn't

00:02:08 - 00:02:19 | Speaker 8:

have to pack it up you just it's yours now is it weird but just not interrupt your story but i want to is it weird to go in that house and to see your stuff still there like some of your you know

00:02:19 - 00:02:29 | Speaker 9:

the things like that no i love it because i feel like so many times people just waste stuff and throw it away and at least it still gets used yeah do you ever go through the house and find

00:02:29 - 00:02:33 | Speaker 8:

something and go oh I'm gonna take this do you have to ask him for it no all the time we fight

00:02:33 - 00:03:39 | Speaker 9:

about this all the time he thinks okay so uh culture clash is a store that I love in Toledo and I have a beanie from them and he swears to god that I gave it there's no way that I gave it to him so then we like steal it back and forth like it's at my apartment he'll see it then all of a sudden it's at his house I'll see it I'll take it like it just goes back and forth because there's no way i said he could have it um but he's adamant uh wow we sound like real petty bitches anyways so i was over at his house i was cooking dinner and i grabbed the end of the spatula and it like hurt and i was like what's going on i had a wood handle and i felt like it was digging into the palm of my hand and i realized it's all like broken off and chipped and just kind of nasty now he's a man so of course he didn't throw it away he thought still usable back into the drawer It's okay to throw some things away. But I said, what the hell is this? And he goes, oh, yeah, I made a smoothie, and the fruit wouldn't go down, and I got mad, so I just jammed the handle in, but I got caught in the blades. And then I had a smoothie full of wood chips. And I said, you didn't throw that bad boy away? And he said, fruit's expensive. Absolutely not.

00:03:40 - 00:03:45 | Speaker 1:

Why? Wait, he drank a wood chip smoothie? He said it was chunky with wood chips.

00:03:45 - 00:03:50 | Speaker 9:

He was like, I coughed a little bit on some of the chunks, and I realized that wasn't the mango.

00:03:54 - 00:04:02 | Speaker 8:

So now, does he ever worry that more pieces of wood chip are going to go off into his food at all, or no?

00:04:02 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 9:

I mean, I don't think he's shoving more handles into blenders, but yeah.

00:04:08 - 00:04:20 | Speaker 8:

Isn't that funny that you don't realize it? Like, I always feel weird anytime I eat at an Applebee's now because there was a story one time about the Applebee's where they found a lizard inside of it. Do you remember that story?

00:04:20 - 00:04:22 | Speaker 1:

Oh, every restaurant's always finding something.

00:04:23 - 00:04:33 | Speaker 8:

They found an Applebee's, and it was not even an Applebee's that was in our area that has lizards. It was the area that doesn't have lizards. It was, like, out west or something, like in Arizona.

00:04:33 - 00:04:44 | Speaker 9:

But, Mojo, you said he didn't realize it, and that's not fair because he's the one that shoved the wood handle into the blender, heard it grinding pulled it out saw it broken and said i'm still gonna eat that but haven't

00:04:44 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 1:

you guys ever wanted whatever it is that you're about to consume so bad oh yeah that even if you find something in it like a hair like whatever that you're like all right i'm getting rid of it i'm pretending i didn't see it and i'm still eating this i cooked last week

00:05:00 - 00:05:28 | Speaker 2:

dropped it on the floor right as i was plating it and went i'm still gonna eat it my dog my dog ate got up on our kitchen table which he's so bad by the way um got up on our kitchen table the other night and started eating my salad now salads by the way are very expensive lately yeah because i bought this one i door dashed this one and i was like i know you eat your poop and you lick your wiener and i am still gonna eat the rest of the salad i do not care I do not care

00:05:28 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 3:

It's your family That's your man's best friend or woman's best friend That's your animal You could eat it If it was a stranger's dog Stranger's wiener dogs You know what's funny is that when I go to restaurants And people find hair in the thing I look at the waiter Or waitress whoever the server is And I look and go do they look like They actually have clean hair And then I go okay I'll still eat it

00:05:53 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 2:

It depends though with hair If it looks like a certain kind of hair, I have a tough time.

00:06:00 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 3:

Like a pube?

00:06:01 - 00:06:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, if it looks like a pube, I probably am done. But if it's a head hair, I'm okay.

00:06:07 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 3:

You wouldn't see a pube, though. It's bad. You wouldn't see a pube. They're smaller ones. To me, I eat any hair. I think that hair is probably the cleanest thing ever.

00:06:18 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 4:

Hell no. I don't care if it's curly. I don't care if it's straight. I don't care if it's brown. I don't care if it's gray. If it's a hair in my food, that's going back. You know why you do that?

00:06:28 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 2:

What if you can't? Like, what if you door dashed it?

00:06:31 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 4:

I'm probably going to throw it. You know what I mean?

00:06:34 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 2:

You've been waiting for this.

00:06:36 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:06:36 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 2:

It finally arrived at your house, and you open up that Chipotle, and there's a hair on top. You're telling me you're just not going to remove it.

00:06:42 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 4:

It depends how hungry I am. I'll be pissed to throw it away, or I'll take, like, the biggest scoop. The chunk. I'll try to, like, you know, I don't know, put my finger in the middle and do, like, a four-inch diameter around it and, like, scoop that. No, no.

00:06:54 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 3:

You know what it just proved by that whole comment that he just made? What? That he's cheap, and he's just trying to get free food. He sends it back because he wants the meal for free, and that's why he does it. If it's something that he's already paid for, and he can't go back with it, or it's too lazy to, you'll eat the damn thing. So that proves that you'll eat hair. Nah, bro.

00:07:14 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 4:

I wouldn't go to your house and eat hair.

00:07:16 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 3:

You would. Hell no. At my house. If you're at somebody's house, you would say something to them like their hair is there?

00:07:22 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 4:

And I'd be like, bro, especially with them hairs where you can, like, literally pull it out and you can see the long joint. Oh, no, bro. See, I wouldn't. I'd be like, Chelsea, what's going on, nah? Come on, nah.

00:07:31 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 3:

Okay, question for you. You're at a girl's house. Okay? Girl, you're dating. This is easy. Girl, you've seen all her hair or no hair. And you find a hair there. You've gotten intimate with her. What makes you think you can't eat her hair? Doesn't matter. If you're eating others, you can eat her hair.

00:07:50 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 4:

No, I'm going to get the hairs out of my mouth, too.

00:07:55 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 3:

Is that how it goes? 844 Mojo Live, let's go back to the topic of not hair. Let's go back to what did you eat that you found out you ate. I can't tell you the amount of times that I've had fingernails in food. What?

00:08:08 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 2:

Where are you going? No.

00:08:10 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 3:

I've been in restaurants before.

00:08:12 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 2:

A fingernail. Oh, I am done, and I will never go back to that restaurant.

00:08:16 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 4:

That's deliberate. Yeah. How do you accidentally get a fingernail in your food?

00:08:20 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 2:

Wait, did I ever tell you about the time I had a tooth in the crust of my bread? Oh, yeah. I think you can talk about it on the show once. It was first grade. East River Elementary doesn't exist anymore. And there was a tooth in the crust of my peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

00:08:34 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 3:

The lunch lady's tooth?

00:08:35 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 2:

Or who was the lunch lady? No, I would assume it's not the lunch lady. I don't think they're baking fresh bread at local elementary schools. That came off the factory line. But it was nasty.

00:08:45 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's up, Lily? It's Mojo in the morning. And what did you find in your food? Hi, Lily.

00:08:53 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 1:

Hi. I'm sorry. Let me take you off my phone.

00:08:56 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 3:

No problem. It's cold. Everybody's kind of slow moving today. What's going on?

00:09:01 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 1:

So I, about a week ago, I found a packing string, you know, like a very thick and long string that was like curled up in the middle of my sandwich from a very well-known local chain. And I was so heartbroken because I was already home, couldn't take it back, and I could not bring myself to finish it. I was so, I was done. I was done. Yeah. Really? So like a piece, a twine? Is that what you mean? Yeah. Yeah. Oh, I'd eat it. It was a twine. Oh, I'd totally eat it.

00:09:31 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 3:

Sometimes I've eaten like honey baked ham that have been wrapped in like the string and I've, you know, just pulled it right out.

00:09:38 - 00:09:45 | Speaker 1:

No, I thought about it, but I was just too heartbroken and just like, okay, what else was done? So, no, I was done. And I threw it out.

00:09:46 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 3:

You know what you just proved? You're skinny. Skinny people.

00:09:50 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no. But I did say, because I almost ordered a salad. I said, well, this is God's way of telling me that my fat A should have ordered a salad instead of this.

00:10:00 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for the call.

00:10:06 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 1:

Michelle, what did you find in your food? Hi, Michelle. Hello? Hi. What did you find in your food?

00:10:16 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if I should mention the place, but I was eating like a rice and broccoli dish and literally put in my mouth a Band-Aid that was already used. Oh! Oh, no, no, no, no.

00:10:28 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that place is no longer on my list. In your mouth. No, no, no. Was it from a restaurant? What was it from?

00:10:34 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 4:

Nope. It was at a hospital cafeteria. Oh, good Lord.

00:10:40 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 2:

That is stabbing.

00:10:41 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 4:

I'll just say it was in Farmington Hills.

00:10:43 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 2:

Oh, good Lord.

00:10:45 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 1:

Did you look at the Band-Aid to see if there was any remnants of blood on there?

00:10:49 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 4:

There was blood on it. Oh, there was blood on it. There was definitely. I pulled it out of my mouth and I was like, you got to pee. You're crapping me right now. There's blood on this Band-Aid. I couldn't eat there ever again.

00:11:04 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 1:

A Band-Aid would get me because the idea that I caught some kind of a person's disease, you know.

00:11:10 - 00:11:22 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. I was just in my mind. I was just saying it has to be one of the workers. It can't be a patient. It's got to be a worker. I tried to calm myself down with the thought. Look for the guy with no finger.

00:11:23 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 1:

Quick question for you. if you eat somebody's hair can you get head lice in your belly if a person has head lice

00:11:31 - 00:11:32 | Speaker 4:

no no no

00:11:32 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 1:

how do you know that are you a medical person you're saying no I'm a nurse oh you are I'm a nurse did you study that in school

00:11:40 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 4:

studied that in nursing school no it's an egg that would have to be like on your head giving you all those have other bugs you couldn't just grow

00:11:48 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 1:

but what if the egg got into the person's food and you swallowed the egg this is the same conversation

00:11:52 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 2:

of what if I ate a watermelon seed? How do you know a watermelon wouldn't grow?

00:11:57 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 1:

Exactly. I think she's lying there.

00:12:00 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 4:

I would say negative, but I could be wrong. Here you go.

00:12:06 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 1:

I'm noncommittal.

00:12:07 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 4:

I'm noncommittal.

00:12:09 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Listen to this one. Andre, what did you find? This is a big one. Line number one. Andre. Hey there. How you doing? Good. We're talking about what you find in your food that you ate.

00:12:20 - 00:12:34 | Speaker 3:

uh about a year ago i found two wasps inside of a cherry hostess fruit pie dead wasp right he was ready to eat that dead wasp man i i kind of peeled them out i had to

00:12:34 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 2:

finish it though those are so good those are so good dude i would get it in my head that that venom would get into me and i would die like there's i don't know how you eat it that's so

00:12:45 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 1:

good um michelle found something in her steak what did you find michelle or savannah i'm sorry savannah what did you find in your steak savannah

00:12:54 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 3:

hi hello hey savannah what'd you find in your steak okay first off first time long time so we were at a local steakhouse and my mom had a caterpillar in her broccoli

00:13:15 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh. How'd you know it wasn't just a weird piece of broccoli?

00:13:20 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 3:

No, it was moving. Oh, God, it was moving. I mean, it's very fresh. Yeah, but, like, do you blame the restaurant for that?

00:13:28 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 2:

I don't blame the restaurant for that. I blame the produce shipper for that. You know what I mean? I blame both because don't you think they would have looked at the food? Yeah. Look at your food. You can't look through every piece of lettuce when you dump it onto a plate. Right, right. Yeah. But if it was right there staring back at her, somebody had to see it in there. I don't think so. If it was right on top, like saying hello.

00:13:50 - 00:13:55 | Speaker 1:

Another thing my mom used to always say was, that's good protein, so just eat it. So that was what my mom would say.

00:13:55 - 00:13:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. No, that's all you, Mojo.

00:13:58 - 00:14:13 | Speaker 1:

Hey, talking about the fingernail thing, Lisa had the fingernail thing happen to her with what kind of food, Lisa, did you find a fingernail in? Hi, Lisa. We're a little slow. Line five. Above Sierra? No?

00:14:13 - 00:14:15 | Speaker 2:

She has not seen a Lisa. She hung up.

00:14:15 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 1:

Oh, she said she had found a two-inch fingernail in her thing. How about this one? Andre found a worm in his Chinese food. Is that right, Andre?

00:14:26 - 00:14:28 | Speaker 2:

Andrea. Andrea?

00:14:28 - 00:14:29 | Speaker 1:

Andrea, yes.

00:14:31 - 00:14:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I was at P.S. Stings, and I was eating chicken and rice and broccoli, and I ate almost the whole meal, and I looked down, and then I had eaten half of a worm. It was good, huh? No.

00:14:44 - 00:14:45 | Speaker 1:

I love P.F. Chang's.

00:14:45 - 00:14:51 | Speaker 2:

No, the rest of the day, I'm a hypochondriac. The rest of the day, I was like, oh, my God, I'm so ill. I can't. I'm so sick.

00:14:51 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 1:

I would eat a worm as long as it was in Chang's spicy chicken. I love that. That's like my favorite there. Oh, P.F. Chang's.

00:15:01 - 00:15:07 | Speaker 5:

So good. Was it like a crawly worm or was it a dead worm? And how do you know it wasn't a noodle?

00:15:08 - 00:15:11 | Speaker 2:

It had a bunch of legs. Like, I don't even know if it was a worm.

00:15:11 - 00:15:12 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that ain't no worm.

00:15:12 - 00:15:18 | Speaker 2:

Like, really, yeah, it was here. And my daughter made me take a picture of it, and she was so proud of it.

00:15:21 - 00:15:22 | Speaker 5:

Thank you for the call.

00:15:22 - 00:15:23 | Speaker 1:

She told everybody at school.
