Mojo of the Morning Show. Megan, Megan, Megan.

00:01:46 - 00:01:46 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

00:01:47 - 00:01:47 | Speaker 5:

How you doing?

00:01:48 - 00:01:54 | Speaker 6:

Good. You know what? This song makes me so happy. This was my ringtone in high school. Was it really? Do you know what song this is? It's a Lady Sovereign song.

00:01:54 - 00:01:56 | Speaker 5:

Love Me or Hate Me. Love Me or Hate Me.

00:01:56 - 00:02:06 | Speaker 6:

That is the question. Love Me or Hate Me. It's an obsession. If you love me, then thank you. I used to love this song. This makes me so happy.

00:02:06 - 00:02:15 | Speaker 5:

Well, I'm picking it for you because Love Me or Hate Me, if you or her, I'm trying to segue into the thing that was not very good.

00:02:15 - 00:02:17 | Speaker 6:

No, no, no. Keep trying. Keep trying. Make it work. Make it work.

00:02:17 - 00:02:25 | Speaker 5:

Megan is hating on some people that she used to love on because they canceled something that she loved.

00:02:26 - 00:03:40 | Speaker 6:

You guys, I don't know what it is, but I seem to have the worst luck in the entire world. Because inevitably, if I love something, it's going to be discontinued. And this is a streak I have seemed to have for quite a while at this point. It all started, and I'm still, I haven't let this go. and this one was like four years ago and I'm still really upset about it and if you are my dentist listening right now you don't hear this but my favorite Red Bull of all time was the Cranberry Red Bull and got replaced with watermelon and those sneaky sneaky bastards refused to announce that they were switching them out and if I would have known truly I probably would have spent so much money stockpiling it like that's how much I absolutely loved the Cranberry one And it has happened to me again, and I just found out literally yesterday that my absolute favorite, favorite, favorite skincare of all time has decided to cancel all of their face washes, their toners, their everything, and they're just going back to the masks that they started with. The company was a mask company that went into, like, facial cleansers, and they've ended it. I just bought Amazon's entire stock of the face washers.

00:03:40 - 00:03:41 | Unknown:

That's great.

00:03:42 - 00:04:14 | Speaker 6:

Like, it said 13 left in stock, and you best believe I bought all 13 of them. I spent so much money. And then in my head, I was like, you know what? You're not going to have to pay for this for the next, like, three years. This is going to be so great, yada, yada, yada. But now I'm terrified because I went onto some forums yesterday and found out that a lot of people are selling fake versions of it online right now because everybody's willing to pay up the booty hole for it. And I think I might have just gotten scammed. But all of my favorite stuff gets discontinued all of the time, and it's driving me nuts.

00:04:15 - 00:04:28 | Speaker 5:

Why is it that when stuff gets canceled like this, that other companies don't just come up, figure out how to make it, and then relabel it to something different? You don't see this.

00:04:28 - 00:04:35 | Speaker 7:

Because you're not going to trust it, though. Like, if you have a favorite, like in Megan's case, a favorite skincare brand that had that, like, you're not going to trust a new brand.

00:04:35 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 6:

I know. Do you know what I mean? And here's the thing. I have had the worst acne in my entire life. I still suffer with acne. It's terrible. I have gone to many a dermatologist. I go to a dermatologist right now and I love them. This worked for me. This was like the best thing I have ever found. I have easily spent thousands of dollars on skincare trying to figure out what works for me. And now that it's gone, I'm losing my mind.

00:05:00 - 00:05:01 | Speaker 5:

I'm so mad

00:05:01 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 1:

I think that it's interesting when something does get cancelled Like the Twinkie did Back in the day And people are so upset by it And I think when's the last time that you had a Twinkie And they're like well when I was 3 Or you know or 13 or whatever Probably more realistic But it's funny though when something like that happens It sometimes can be the best marketing That ever happens to something Like I will say this

00:05:25 - 00:05:35 | Speaker 5:

No think about Skittles that pissed me off to no end when they made the green Skittle apple instead of lime and they pulled a fast one on all of us

00:05:35 - 00:05:44 | Speaker 1:

they changed it back I think it's when you cancel a whole product the example of Megan's skin care thing

00:05:44 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 5:

they're discontinuing it

00:05:46 - 00:06:04 | Speaker 1:

I think that's when it does happen but I also think that in certain regards it's like when stores close down like Toys R Us for some reason to me is not as good if you go to a Macy's and they've got a little section on it. It's not the same. Toys R Us used to be the greatest thing ever, you know, to go to, but... What were you going to say when you found out when?

00:06:05 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 4:

I first went on Ulta because I needed to buy more. I also found out because I was absolutely out. And then I was like, oh, Ulta must not be carrying this line anymore. And then I went to Sephora and I was like, oh, maybe they're only selling on their website. And then I go to their website and I was like, oh, red alert. This is so bad. I can't find

00:06:21 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 1:

it anywhere. Yeah. You know what i think that uh i think that we need what first off are you going to say what it is

00:06:28 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 4:

sure yeah uh it's glam glow um they are known for their masks but they had like a toner and a facial cleanser and an exfoliating cleanser that i absolutely loved and adore i use their under eye uh glow cream and their moisture like when i tell you this skincare line worked for me it worked for me and they're getting rid of everything but their masks again and you know

00:06:51 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 1:

for a fact that they that they don't have any more on amazon because now that you just mentioned it

00:06:56 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 4:

and what the product does yeah no i bought it all uh but i'm also not worried that maybe the company is just going under because they haven't tweeted since 2022 oh no well there's a problem

00:07:07 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 1:

oh yeah oh no that's what's going on i don't know but how much product do you have and when

00:07:15 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 4:

can we expect that you'll get more zits that's so rude but probably soon oh you're going on vacation too i know i literally you have enough for that uh well i was going part of the reason i went to their website was i was trying to get travel ones for my vacation coming up

00:07:32 - 00:07:43 | Speaker 1:

nope gone don't exist lisa what's up lisa there's trisa oh trisa i apologize hi trisa

00:07:43 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 3:

Hi. You've got to tell Megan to try the Mary Kay.

00:07:47 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 1:

So Mary Kay. You need to become a Mary Kay girl. Can you do that, Megan? Or does that make, when you become somebody that buys from Mary Kay, do you feel like you've gotten old?

00:07:59 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 4:

No. I grew up with Mary Kay products. I just, I think it had a very high, what is that ingredient that I absolutely love? Some sort of acid in it. It had a high concentration of that in charcoal, which really helped my skin. And I have a hard time finding that in other products. Well, that's why you need to buy Mary Kay.

00:08:19 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:08:20 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 3:

We have a charcoal mask. Oh, okay.

00:08:23 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 1:

Do you have a pink car? You have to.

00:08:26 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 3:

I do not, but I'm working towards that.

00:08:29 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 1:

How much do you have to sell to get a pink car?

00:08:31 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 3:

A lot.

00:08:33 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 5:

I actually didn't even know Mary Kay was still around.

00:08:35 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 1:

Lisa, Misfit Lisa, hello.

00:08:39 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 2:

Megan, you did the panic call.

00:08:44 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 1:

I think she still wows herself in the fact that you're now called a misfit. But you're a regular that calls us all the time, and you got a little misfit in you.

00:08:52 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my goodness. So I have a sister that compulsively buys, and she had lotion. I went to visit her, and she gave me a new lotion. And I opened it up, and it was like water. So my recommendation is you shake those bottles to keep it active and together. because if it sits, it's going to break down and the investment is gone. No, don't tell me that.

00:09:14 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 1:

But thank you.

00:09:15 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for the tip.

00:09:17 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 1:

Hugo, what did you want to say?

00:09:19 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Megan, I have like three cases of this Red Bull Cranberry if you want it in my place for free.

00:09:26 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 1:

Wait. Really? The Red Bull Cranberry? What did you do? Did you buy all the remaining that was at every store?

00:09:33 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 2:

Well, no, they just have extra. They're homemade? If you want it, I give it to her.

00:09:36 - 00:09:39 | Speaker 4:

Wait, he's went off the shelf like four years ago.

00:09:41 - 00:09:45 | Speaker 5:

I'm just kidding, Megan. I hope it never comes back. I hope it never comes back.

00:09:45 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 2:

I hope glam glow never comes back.

00:09:49 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 1:

Why, Victor, there's got to be something that you are sad is no longer. Oh, he hung up the phone. Of course he did.

00:09:55 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 4:

All he does is call in to be mean to me. Harass. By the way.

00:10:00 - 00:10:12 | Speaker 3:

By the way, I just want you to know, if you do have any of that Red Bull cranberry, you could rub that on your face, and that will definitely get rid of all the acne. It will just burn it right off of your face.

00:10:12 - 00:10:20 | Speaker 4:

You're an idiot. How much? Maggie, now I'm deep diving this. Acquired by Estee Lauder, and I think everything's been discontinued.

00:10:20 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think they have. I'm really upset about that. Well, maybe there's a product from Estee Lauder. Maybe Estee Lauder will do it. Tyler Reddick here from 2311 Racing. Another checkered flag for the books. Time to celebrate with Chumba. Jump in at Chumbacasino.com. Let's Chumba.
