Mojo, live from the Rocket Mortgage Classic Pro-Am at some golf course. Or he'll embarrass himself today. Come on, Mojo. You actually think Kid Rock's going to show up this morning? This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:02:17 - 00:03:14 | Speaker 6:

Well, he hasn't, but that's okay. Sorry, we're having fun out here at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Beautiful Detroit Golf Club for all of our listeners that are checking us out in the Detroit area. If you have time to, like, make it here today, or even, I guess, if you want to drive in from Toledo or from Grand Rapids, today is a good day. Today is the Pro-Am Day, which is the more fun day on the course where the pros are kind of having some fun. We just saw Ricky Fowler just a couple of minutes ago. So the interesting thing about a guy like Ricky Fowler, who's like the big pro golfer that a lot of people love just because he's a fan fave, he doesn't want to usually stop in the middle of his golf game to wait for our commercial breaks to end. You don't want to wait on Nicky Minaschi. It doesn't work that way. It's $8 million on the line. I'm not stopping for anybody. And you know what? And I totally understand that. That would be like us, you know, in the middle of the show having Alicia Bailey come in and ask you to say hello to her. That would happen.

00:03:15 - 00:03:19 | Speaker 5:

That was oddly specific. Happy birthday, Jackson.

00:03:19 - 00:03:29 | Speaker 6:

By the way, we love you, Alicia. I just like, she is the butt of my joke. Speaking of the butt of our jokes, Mike, hey. Oh, hey.

00:03:30 - 00:03:31 | Speaker 5:

Let's see what you did there.

00:03:31 - 00:03:38 | Speaker 6:

So Mike is tired of the judgment, the ice cream judgment that he gets.

00:03:39 - 00:04:11 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. So I went to the, this was a couple of days ago, but I went to the park and I'm sitting down and Milo's playing on the jungle gym or whatever. And we get, before we go, we get these, you know, the drumsticks with the peanuts on the top and the little chocolate drumsticks. That's what they're called. Yeah. Yeah. So we're eating those, but he never, I don't know if Smith is like this or if your kids are like this, but he's only three. So he only eats about half of the ice cream every time. Like he never finishes the whole thing. And so what I'll do, especially with drumsticks, is I'll just take the bottom part and I'll just eat that little bottom part. I don't know what that's called.

00:04:11 - 00:04:14 | Speaker 2:

The last bite is the tip of the cone because it has chocolate in it.

00:04:15 - 00:04:32 | Speaker 5:

So he hands me his ice cream cone and he wants to go on the slide. And there's a bunch of parents standing around or whatever. And so I do what I always do. I take that little piece off and I throw the rest away. Well, for the first time ever, Milo comes running on over and he goes, hey, can I have the rest of my ice cream?

00:04:32 - 00:04:33 | Unknown:

Oh, no.

00:04:33 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

and I went and I look over and that lady there's a lady sitting there right there kind of watching and I go sorry bud I threw it away already and he's like oh okay and he walks away he's very cool about it but this lady I'd then turn around and this lady's just giving me that death stare like you just ate your son's ice cream and then lied to him right to his face and I did I did I oh I fully did I 100% did but I don't need your judgment yeah I don't need your judgment ma'am

00:05:00 - 00:05:21 | Speaker 4:

He's my kid. Yeah. Do you guys ever eat your kids' foods? Oh, my God. For sure. All the time. Look at me. Did I ever? Yeah, back in the day when I used to get pretty high, you know, you can have the munchies. And I used to come home and, like, eat up all his snacks and drink all the Capri Suns. Yeah, oh, Capri Suns. The little applesauces. Yeah. I have one in my purse right now. You want one?

00:05:21 - 00:05:24 | Speaker 3:

Those Capri Suns, too, you could do it in one squeeze. Exactly.

00:05:25 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 4:

It's gone.

00:05:25 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. So you would come home stoned and eat all the little snackables and things like that that your son wanted.

00:05:32 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 4:

Then you've got to get ready for daycare, and you're like, damn, I hate that. I always did that when I babysat him.

00:05:39 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 3:

Luke, come on over here, Luke. Come on, don't leave yet. Luke's going to leave. He's like, oh, no. He's like, Dad, why did I have to come here this early? Luke, did I ever eat any of your food? As a kid, think back to the days when your voice sounded like you did balls, you know, like that.

00:05:56 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 1:

You guys have the best snack pantry.

00:05:59 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, we got a great snack pantry.

00:06:00 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 1:

You have so many snacks.

00:06:02 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 3:

But as a little guy, looking up at your big dad that you love so much, did I ever take food from you? Yeah, all the time. And what were you thinking? Like in your little head, your little body and stuff like that, what were you thinking? I was thinking this guy's a bully.

00:06:22 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 1:

What was the one snack he always stole? Like what was his fave? It was like Cheez-Its.

00:06:28 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 3:

It was everything. Yeah, because like watermelon especially. Like I'd cut up watermelon and you'd eat it all. You know what's amazing about this is as a dad and a mom, I'm sure this happens to you too, I hope they don't finish their entire McDonald's. Oh, okay. Like I pray that they don't.

00:06:44 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 1:

This is a thing.

00:06:45 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 3:

Did I ever yell at you at all? I think one time I yelled at you when we were leaving the McDonald's in Sylvan Lake and you ate all your French fries like really, really fast. But I think you ate them fast because you knew I was going to take them from you. Smart man.

00:07:00 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 1:

When I'm going through McDonald's, because the kids always get the same thing. They want the chicken nugget hat me meal. Well, now they have the six-piece. You could do four-piece or six-piece. So I order them both a six-piece because I know they're only going to get four. And then I get two and two. I get extra nuggies. It's the best.

00:07:13 - 00:07:17 | Speaker 3:

But the interesting thing, though, isn't the toy different between the two pieces?

00:07:18 - 00:07:18 | Speaker 1:

No, they all—

00:07:18 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 3:

Don't they give an adult toy usually with the bigger pieces or no?

00:07:22 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 1:

I've never gotten a vibrator.

00:07:24 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 3:

No, but don't they actually have it where it's like a big kid meal?

00:07:31 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 1:

No, and by the way, McDonald's toys are, what happened? They are not good anymore like they used to be. This world is not normal, too.

00:07:38 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 4:

Oh, wait, Tony Finau is right behind us? We got him behind us right now.

00:07:41 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 1:

Be careful.

00:07:42 - 00:07:43 | Speaker 5:

Tony Finau.

00:07:43 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you can't do that. He's on the green. This isn't baseball. You're like my mom. Who's the famous person? Let me take a selfie. All right, don't tell me.

00:07:52 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 3:

So give the listeners a play-by-play, what we're looking at. So we're watching Tony Finau fix. Pros actually fix their marks? I didn't realize that. They have to, don't you? No. Isn't it a rule? Don't they usually have somebody that does that for them? Tony Finau won last year's Rocket Mortgage Classic. Look at that. He made $8 million, and that's what he chose to wear to the sink? What don't you like about it? You don't like the shirt? I'm not a fan of the shoes. Do you think he eats his kids' foods? I bet he does. And he's got a lot of kids. Have you seen how many kids he has? $8 million, he still eats his kids' food. Yeah. Should we all grab our mics? Never change. So he's chipping up to the hole.

00:08:33 - 00:08:33 | Unknown:

Quiet.

00:08:33 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 3:

Shh.

00:08:34 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 2:

I'm Jim Nance. Sundays at Augusta. This is not good radio. I know this is great radio because... This is not good radio!

00:08:46 - 00:08:46 | Unknown:

Shh.

00:08:46 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 2:

That was loud. Oh. Going, going, going, going, going, going, going, going, going, going, going, going, going.

00:08:50 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 1:

We are never coming back. Wait, wait, wait. Ever.

00:08:57 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 3:

No, you can't. That was excellent. Yeah. Yeah. We can't yell? Tony.

00:09:03 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 4:

Are we not supposed to yell? It almost fell in a hole. It's like literally inches away.

00:09:07 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 5:

Woo! Tony. Absolutely not getting invited back.

00:09:13 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 3:

No, we can't. You can't cheer after that? That was worth it. That was huge. Jill, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. We're live at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Please tell your story quietly.

00:09:24 - 00:09:38 | Speaker 5:

I'm sure they're loving it, too. Yeah, what's going on? No, my kids will never let me live this down. It was probably over five years ago, but I ate both of their bags of cotton candy that I got them for Easter. And we had the munchies. See?

00:09:39 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 3:

Don't you think that the worst thing that's ever happened to children is when weed became legal? Yep. Oh, yeah. Now we have taken away all of their... Oh, and they're bringing back nostalgic snacks, too, like Dunkaroos. Like, I'm going to eat all of them.

00:09:53 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 5:

They're not like they used to be. You are absolutely wrong. And they also brought back, like, the cake Oreos that I'm super excited about.

00:10:00 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 2:

I feel like kids' snacks are the perfect munchies and the serving size. It's perfect also. They are good. Hey, guys, it's Ryan. I want to tell you about my new pastime, Chumba Casino.
