who got kicked out of a girl scout event it's the mojo in the morning show

00:01:46 - 00:02:09 | Speaker 6:

mike come on uh yeah really yeah yeah i did um so first question i have is is what was the last thing you were kicked out of and why and i bring that up by the way do you think that there's people that that just randomly get kicked out of everything uh everything no but i think there's always a good story when you get kicked out i think there's always there's never not a good

00:02:09 - 00:02:45 | Speaker 5:

story when you're kicked out of somewhere i'm trying to think the only thing that i think i could ever think of that i've been kicked out of in who knows how long but is sometimes i'll go to like a game and i'll sit in seats that are not my seats and then the people that have them and and And I will judge based on how, you know, the game's going where I think I can actually get away with it. Because, you know, what happens is sometimes people will, you know, I don't know, five innings into a Tigers game or something like that, not be in these seats. And I'm going, there's no way they're coming if it's five innings and then you get kicked out. But I don't know.

00:02:45 - 00:02:53 | Speaker 6:

Or even like sports parents when they are arguing with other sports parents or cheering for their kids or yelling at umps. Like you see them get kicked out all the time.

00:02:53 - 00:03:09 | Speaker 5:

I saw a video the other day that was on one of the news sources that we have of a dad who got kicked out of his kid's basketball game in Indiana for beating up the referee. It was like crazy. So what happened? So explain your story.

00:03:09 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 6:

Okay, so I went and Cecily had a bridging ceremony, which is like the next level of Girl Scouts that she's in. I didn't know what this was. So all the parents went, and we get there, and my wife is – Okay, first let me say that I'm probably in super protective, like sensitive to everything mode. Because Allie's now staying home from work. Like she's, it's going to happen anytime. So I'm a little sensitive to some things. I'll say that right off the bat. And the troop leader of Cecily's Girl Scouts was maybe just a little anxious about what was going on. Maybe she was a little nervous. Maybe she was a little stressed. I don't know. but she was incredibly rude the second we walked in the door she like ripped the cookies out of my wife's hands handed it to me and said you go put them over there i'm like uh okay so we go sit down and like they have to do this ceremony in front of the kids and the parents and stuff and my wife's helping because she's part of the the troop leaders or whatever and this lady is just rude every second every time my wife says anything she's oh god well you don't think i know what i'm doing in front of all these people exactly and i'm like okay okay well let's have a conversation let's put that in the back of your head and we'll have a well ali and i'll have a conversation about that later and i'm like okay we'll let you know whatever and then she's like trying to um ali's trying to help with pictures and this woman's ripping phones out of her hand and going i got it i got it i get my wife if you've ever met my wife in the ever at all she's one of the most soft-spoken, quiet human beings in the entire world.

00:04:47 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

She honestly is the only reason why we like Mike. But no. Absolutely. But no, but she is honest. Mike and Allie are both very nice, like polite, calm people.

00:05:00 - 00:05:02 | Speaker 2:

So this has got to be, like, a crazed woman.

00:05:02 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 3:

Yes. So, yeah, like you said, I'm chill. I'm nine times out of ten. It takes a lot to get me angry, like, to a point of even of saying something that I'm angry. And she hit that level. And, again, maybe I'm just sensitive because my wife's pregnant and because the baby's almost here. So I'm, like, trying to be protective at the same time. And I'm like, what is going on? So I end up going, like, it just blurts out of my mouth. I have no idea why I couldn't contain it in that moment. But I go, are you serious? And the whole place goes silent and turns slowly and looks at me. And I'm like, uh-oh. That came out. Because you know how you ever do that where you don't realize that it actually comes out and you say it? And my wife texts me two seconds later and says, you need to go. You need to leave and go to the lobby or something. So I took my son and made it seem like I was taking him to watch some movie on his phone because he wasn't sitting still or whatever. But in reality, I just couldn't keep my mouth shut.

00:05:58 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 2:

So Allie was the one that asked you to leave and kicked you out of there. And when you guys left there and when you guys were going home, what did she say? Did she feel like this woman also was being a little –

00:06:09 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 3:

She didn't – I don't think she – I did ask. And she's like, I don't think it was as bad as you think it was, Mike. I don't think it was – she's like, she was a little bit stressed and I could sense it. I'm like, is she always like that? And she's like, sometimes, but not really. You know, but she was rude.

00:06:27 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 2:

So you were the one that she thinks that was a little out of control.

00:06:33 - 00:06:55 | Speaker 3:

Um, I don't know that. She's like, I saw it. She's like, I understood. I didn't understand why she was doing it, but I did see that she was being a little rude and a little over the top. And she's like, I don't know that it merited the reaction that you gave it, but it definitely was, you know, rude. To me, it's just like, especially in front of people, you just don't do that. Like, that's rude.

00:06:56 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 4:

You ingrate bitch.

00:06:58 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 3:

You shouldn't treat anybody like that ever.

00:07:01 - 00:07:03 | Speaker 4:

I despise you.

00:07:03 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 2:

So this woman is your daughter's Girl Scout troop leader, right? Mm-hmm. That your daughter has to be around for the entire time that she's part of the troop.

00:07:16 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 3:

Well, she leveled up, so I don't know if she has to anymore. Okay, so she's not following her to the next level? I don't know. She probably will have to. That's another thing. And so you You're going to see her again Mike

00:07:30 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 2:

You don't care about anyone but yourself

00:07:32 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 3:

I didn't say anything other than that That was all I said But it was rude Yeah, you weren't in the room

00:07:38 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 2:

Do you ever worry Maybe that's what Allie was kicking you out for Worry that poor Cecily Is going to have to deal Even though she was this lady who sounded like she was nuts Or having a nutty moment Because everybody has nutty moments

00:07:53 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I think she was stressed, but you still don't treat people. And, again, maybe I'm hypersensitive because of the situation Allie and I are in right now where she's super pregnant. Yeah, sure. Be protective. Yes. So maybe it was a little bit of that mixed with a little bit of her stress and in the moment. And I should have probably kept my mouth shut. Bottom line, in that moment, I should have. But I don't think that I'm in the wrong way. You don't like me on a smoke.

00:08:18 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 2:

All right, let's talk to the listeners so that we don't get you in any more trouble than we already are right now.

00:08:23 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 3:

I just got a text. I'm in trouble. I did. I'm in trouble.

00:08:27 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 2:

Listen, this lady, we will help you sell cookies next year or something to make up for it, right? Maybe she's stressed out because dealing with the kids. Listen, I've coached kids. I was the dad leader for different things that they've done over the years. You feel like all the stress is on you, and sometimes you don't understand that you're being even more stressful.

00:08:48 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 3:

It never merits treating people like crap, especially in front of a group of people.

00:08:53 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 2:

Especially Allie, because Allie is a great person.

00:08:56 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 3:

Exactly.

00:08:57 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. All right, so let's talk to some of these people that got kicked out of things, because Mike got kicked out of, and by the way, it sounds like he's not going to be ever welcomed back into the Girl Scout troop. Carrie, what were you kicked out of?

00:09:11 - 00:09:34 | Speaker 1:

Hi there. I was kicked out of the Renaissance Festival. Oh, really? How do you get kicked out? Yes. What did you do? Well, I didn't really do anything. I wasn't happy with what somebody else did There's a guy in the corner That you throw tomatoes at He heckles you And you throw tomatoes at him You know what I'm talking about

00:09:34 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 2:

Okay yes I've seen

00:09:35 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 1:

So you pay to throw tomatoes at this guy He teases you why he's in one of those things That you stick your arms and your head through

00:09:42 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah like the gauntlets Or whatever the thing's called

00:09:46 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah I don't know what they're called It's weird anyways So the guy anyways He's like sitting there heckling some boy That was throwing tomatoes at him And he's like 8 years old And he said you should have been the leftovers On your mom's leg

00:09:59 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 4:

Oh. oh my god and i freaked out and kind of cussed him out because and i you know this is like 20 years ago i didn't even have kids on by the way i met you guys on um st patrick's day at kennedy's

00:10:11 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 7:

oh yeah but but so okay so you actually then what you did you physically go after him or just

00:10:18 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 4:

the guy got mad at me and he was like i have long blonde hair at the time and like he's like oh marcia marcia marcia and started going back off on me and so like i said a few choice words and he's like oh i'll have oakland county or whatever escort you out and i said you don't have to have them escort me out i know my way out and so like yeah so basically they followed me out and told me i had to leave and i was like that's okay i was leaving anyways i'll never come back

00:10:47 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 7:

to this place again oh my god wow you know what's funny is i those places like that like where the guy gets to be rude to people make me feel really uncomfortable it's like the restaurants like in chicago they used to have a place called ed to bevick's and i or they now have dick's last resort and they just are so rude to you and you just feel so uncomfortable when they're doing it rafael you got kicked out of your son's basketball game yes good morning i did um can you guys hear

00:11:13 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 3:

me yes what's going on dad oh okay perfect yeah so it it um first time caller long time listener so I got to hear the yeah there we go thank you appreciate that so um it became normal for me to get kicked out of my my son's AAU basketball game so the one thing that was funny was that he started his freshman year and I was going to the practice the first day and I'm the only parent standing around and coaches are staring at me and they're just looking around and I'm looking around and I'm just standing there watching the kids and they walk up to me after about 10 minutes and And they're like, sir, practice is closed. You got to go. So I just felt kind of bad because I was with him for the last three years, four years training him. And now I can't see him practice anymore. And they just kicked me out. I went home and I was sad. And my wife looked at me and was like, what's wrong? I'm like, oh, I got kicked out of practice.

00:12:03 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 7:

You're that dad, by the way. That's the worst. The parents that, you know, will constantly be yelling at referees or screaming in the stands or even at the coaches, like yelling at coaches um those they they embarrass their uh their poor kids mike

00:12:21 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 6:

i didn't do that yeah okay i okay so my wife just texted me she's very angry right now um it is partially my fault it is partially my fault like i know i'm super sensitive to it but i just felt like in that moment it was it was not necessary yeah and i had to you're protective

00:12:41 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 7:

of Allie. You were doing an ASAP Rocky on that woman. Hold on, hold on. Kate, you want to explain

00:12:49 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 5:

something to Mike here? Yes. Okay. So I am going by the name Kate because I don't want anyone to know my real name because I'm a co-proof Girl Scout leader. And Mike, let me just tell you, It's some people take it very seriously, but for others, it's not that deep. It's not that serious. And it sounds like this crazy mom. She's not crazy. She's taking it out on Allie. And it's totally unnecessary because it's not that deep for some people. Some people take Girl Scouting very seriously. I feel for your poor sweet wife.

00:13:30 - 00:13:48 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I don't think that this woman is crazy. I think she was rude in this moment, and I couldn't keep my mouth shut. And should have kept my mouth shut and had a word with maybe somebody afterwards. I shouldn't have blurted that out in the middle of Girl Scouts. Kate, any way that you can get Cecily a new troop?

00:13:50 - 00:13:53 | Speaker 7:

There are probably a few of them in that area.

00:13:53 - 00:13:56 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Mike, is your bike going backwards with all this backpedaling that you're in?

00:13:56 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I'm in big trouble. I'm in big trouble. Liz, what did you get kicked out of?

00:14:02 - 00:14:03 | Speaker 2:

A car dealership.

00:14:04 - 00:14:08 | Speaker 7:

What car dealership? Well, don't say the name, but why were you kicked out of a car dealership?

00:14:09 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so I bought a car from them about a couple weeks later. The whole H-frame fell off the car while I was driving it, and they were trying not to fix it, so I got a little crazy. I mean, they fixed my car, but I'm not allowed back now.

00:14:26 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 7:

Oh, geez. Well, I'd be crazy, too, if I bought a car and the thing fell apart. What's going on, Ron? Where were you kicked out of?

00:14:33 - 00:14:35 | Speaker 1:

A funeral home. What?

00:14:36 - 00:14:36 | Speaker 6:

For what?

00:14:37 - 00:14:55 | Speaker 1:

My sister was the girlfriend of the deceased. And the ex-wife did not like that she was there. There was words back and forth. And then, of course, the sheriff was called, and the sheriff came in. They came in and said, you guys got to go.

00:14:55 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 7:

So the deceased was already divorced from the ex-wife? So they were...

00:15:00 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 4:

And your sister was dating him Why was she not allowed to be there If she was the current girlfriend?

00:15:06 - 00:15:10 | Speaker 6:

That's the question They didn't like that she was there

00:15:10 - 00:15:16 | Speaker 4:

So he must have had it in his will Or something To let the ex-wife be still part of this

00:15:16 - 00:15:22 | Speaker 6:

I don't know how that went out But she handled everything I believe for his funeral

00:15:22 - 00:15:29 | Speaker 4:

Did you at all Want to open up a can Of whoop ass

00:15:29 - 00:15:41 | Speaker 6:

there? Well, I was there with my other brother, which we're both big guys, you know, to protect my sister, so that was the reason why we were there, kind of. Make sure everything was

00:15:41 - 00:15:47 | Speaker 4:

okay. Fighting with the dead. Still not as bad as fighting with the Girl Scout troop

00:15:47 - 00:15:50 | Speaker 6:

leader. No, that's much more difficult.

00:15:51 - 00:15:57 | Speaker 4:

You know why? Because she's still alive, and she'll remember this. Yeah, but I'm going to be dead after this.

00:15:57 - 00:16:24 | Speaker 5:
