Mojo in the morning show. Mike, you had something happen to you when you were in the Planet Fitness parking lot that is one of those things that it's happened to me a million times. And I've always sat there and prayed that there was nobody in the car when it happens.

00:02:07 - 00:02:47 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, so I'm in the parking lot getting ready to go in, and my bag is in the passenger seat. And instead of, like, reaching over the center console and grabbing it to, like, get out of the car or whatever, because it always snags on the shifter and all that stuff, I decided to walk to the other side. So I go open the door, and the wind catches it at the perfect moment and whips it and hits this Ford Focus next to me. Oh, yeah. And I immediately go, and I turn around and look, and there is a dude sitting in the driver's seat. Yeah, and he puts his hands up, and I'm like, oh, my God, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. So I walk over. Well, first I do that thing where you try to get it out of their car, like you wipe your finger on it because there's like a little smudge.

00:02:47 - 00:02:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you're like, it's just a smudge.

00:02:49 - 00:04:01 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it's no big deal. But at the same time, I did hit your car. So if you want to, like, exchange info or whatever, if you want me to give you some bucks right there, I'll give you some cash right there. So I walked over to the window, and his windows on the side were tinted. So I couldn't see him, but I could see him when I looked at him through the windshield. And so I'm like, hey, man, I'm waiting for him to roll down his window or open his door or something. He does nothing. He just sits there. And I'm like, okay, well, sorry, man. Again, I'm really, really sorry. and I go and I go walk by it again and I do the same thing and I wipe the smudge a little bit and I grab my bag and I walk inside and then I got to thinking like that dude is probably in Planet Fitness walking around the whole time so then I start getting in my own head and I look around at all these dudes that are just huge just these giant dudes and I'm like that could be him or that could be him because you couldn't get a good look right by looking in the car no no I couldn't see i looked up really quick yeah and he wouldn't roll down his window and he had 10 windows or whatever and so i'm petrified the whole time at playing in that moment i never end up seeing the guy or whatever but it was it was terrifying because i felt like a just a giant

00:04:01 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 4:

jerk yeah you weren't a giant jerk you were good you did a good job you did more than what i would do you actually walked although if somebody's in the car what would you if somebody's in the car it's a different story if nobody's in the car you smudge that out and you walk away

00:04:15 - 00:04:18 | Speaker 5:

And you hope that there's no security

00:04:18 - 00:04:36 | Speaker 4:

Do you know how many times that happens? That the wind blows open the door I said this yesterday I think on the show The kids open the door so fast And I'm like You know you can't get in between the door And someone else's car in time But you are Jesus If you leave a note on the car After your door hits

00:04:36 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 5:

Has any of our listeners Or any of you guys ever had it Where you have that incident happen with Mike And the person that's car that is makes a way bigger deal than it should be.

00:04:48 - 00:04:54 | Speaker 4:

Because what would you do? It's a ding. You asked me. Sometimes it's not even a ding. It makes a noise, but nothing happens.

00:04:54 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 5:

So what I would do is exactly what Mike did. Because I've had this happen to me before. and I would do that whole thing. And I had a person that got kind of like pissy with me but wouldn't come out of the car. And I said, listen, I'm really, really sorry if you want to take a look at this whole thing. And they got really mad and they were kind of like, you know, you have to be careful. And first off, let me just say this to everybody that's listening right now that owns parking lots. Your parking spots are not big enough, okay? I'm sorry to say this, and I know at Planet Fitness, It's up to whoever their landlord is That they have But guys I'm not skinny enough To be able to sometimes If I can't open my door To the one click level of my car You know where it stops there Then and I'm perfectly in my spot And they're perfectly in their spot Then there's way too small a parking spot

00:05:49 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 3:

Mike you know this If you're carrying a car seat If you have to get a car seat out It's near impossible

00:05:53 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 4:

I don't know how you do it Well you're hitting a car every time Every time your door is setting on somebody else's car. You might not hit it, but it's open and setting on it. But then

00:06:03 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 5:

word to the people who, you know, overly react to this one. It's one thing to be able to, you know, fully leave like a major scratch in the car or a huge dent in the car if you do it. But if it's a little ding, your car's going to get a little dings anyway. Jessie, what's going on?

00:06:23 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I called to tell you guys I had to pay $3,000 for my neighbor's bumper. because the door hit it or one of the kids hit the car put a little tiny scratch on it but yeah it was on a sunday coming home after church and my husband told him what happened to love thy

00:06:37 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 5:

neighbor and he said no you pay thy neighbor oh my god what do you live in an apartment complex

00:06:42 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 3:

or something no it was a house it was a street so you guys were parked on the street and it just

00:06:47 - 00:06:55 | Speaker 5:

happened that your neighbor's car was close enough to your car and you guys dinged the the the bumper Isn't a bumper for bumping?

00:06:55 - 00:07:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I think it was one of the kids did it with the tailgate of my van or something. Something hit their car, and it was the tiniest little mark, like the size of a freckle. Yeah. And he went off.

00:07:05 - 00:07:43 | Speaker 5:

That's such a dick move by this guy. And $3,000, I'm sorry, but there is no way that a little ding is a $3,000 problem. You know? Like, that sounds like that guy. Are you sure? Did you get an estimate to see if it was legit? yeah it wasn't legit yeah how do you do that to your neighbors you got to live next to them the whole time i wouldn't know what i would do i would send your kids over there at a time when that neighbor's not around and let them have their uh their fun what's up josey hi um i actually had

00:07:43 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 2:

a whole row of carts hit my car at kroger and ended up having to go through their insurance and they had to pay me, it caused over $3,000 in damages.

00:07:56 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Who paid for that? Kroger. Kroger did?

00:08:01 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Kroger's insurance company. We had to end up going through that. I mean, but did that cause a massive amount of damage? I have a van, and it, like, caved in part of my side door.

00:08:14 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 3:

I mean, that's different than a ding to the door.

00:08:15 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 5:

Was it a kid that was, like, pulling the carts in, and that's when it happened?

00:08:19 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 2:

I don't think so. It was like they keep all their carts on the side of the building instead of in the cart corral. So it's the extra carts. At first, they're like, oh, that's an act of God. I'm like, not a whole row. Like, I understand like one ding, like a cart, but it was a whole row.

00:08:38 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 5:

Well, of course, the insurance companies say that. The insurance companies always try to do this whole act of God thing. You know, I'll give you an act of God. By the way, I've just gotten so much angrier. I was so happy today. And for some reason, now I'm getting angry because I'm thinking of this parking lot stuff and how people react and how people are kind of jackals with this.

00:09:00 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 4:

You know what I read too a while ago is that we're all parking wrong. Like we're supposed to park to one side of the line. Like your car's supposed to be closer to the line. And if everybody did it, we would have more room, but nobody does it. What side is it?

00:09:13 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 5:

The passenger or the driver's side?

00:09:16 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 4:

I guess it would be the drivers because then everybody would open up with more room. So if you're all the way at the very end of it and you open up, you're at the end of the row. So you would open up the door and you still have all that space. But then everybody to the right of you or the passenger side would have open space for their drivers. It kind of makes it continue. It makes sense. They don't teach you that in driver's training.

00:09:35 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 5:

What about the people that have to back into parking spots? Those people are annoying, aren't they? Yes. There I am angry again. What's going on, John?

00:09:45 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so aside from parking lots being small, the residential streets here in Warren are pretty small back and out of the driveway. So I hit a neighbor's visitor one time as I was getting out. I made a little... It was about $800 to fix. If anything, I evened out the other side so it was identical because it had a ding on the other side. But then the next day, I saw her at Best Buy buying an iPad, and she never fixed her car. Oh, really? So she just used and put the money in her pocket?

00:10:18 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, because I didn't want to go through insurance or anything. Well, priorities.

00:10:22 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 1:

Well, no, you know what, though? You know that that's exactly what all those people are doing that are trying to— Like the neighbor guy from the callers before with the kids. Guarantee that guy probably, you know, did a room in his house or something with the money. Sandra, what's going on?

00:10:38 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 4:

Oh, not much. Good morning, guys. Long time listener. First time caller. Yay. Thank you. I absolutely love you guys. You guys crack me up in the morning. Thank you. My kids were getting out of a school dance, and the wind whipped really hard, and it hit the neighbor's car, the car next to me, and she literally, she, like, went off. She was cussing, throwing a fit, making a huge scene in the parking lot. The principal had to come out and tell me to go. I was like, are you sure? Because she's calling the cops. You know, I don't want to get in trouble for leaving. And they're like, no, we'll tell them what happened. You go ahead and go so we can be at my skin.

00:11:15 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 1:

This is at a school. This is at the school that your kids go to?

00:11:19 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 4:

Yes, after school, pick up. And this woman's acting like that. then she sued me for a thousand dollars we had to go to court two different times and then finally the judge would look at he was like okay let me see the damage on the car she's like well i parked far away from here because they're they're they're harassing me and they keep uh stop following me around lady our kids go to the same school i have to be here so do you that's not harassing but he went out and looked at the car and he was like where's the damage and we come back in and he goes Yeah, I won. He did completely.

00:11:55 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 1:

I love it. That's awesome. I was so petrified.

00:11:59 - 00:12:12 | Speaker 4:

I was so petrified, though, because I'm like, it'll be my luck. You know, I'll get a big judge, and she'll, like, have some cahoots in there with him, or he'll feel sorry for me if she's an older lady, and, you know, I'm going to end up paying this woman $1,000 for nothing.

00:12:12 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 1:

You know who, honestly, those people are? The people that do that, like that lady at your school.

00:12:18 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 4:

She was one of those misery people.

00:12:19 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 1:

They're the people that fake slip and fall in stores and ensue. I've seen that before.

00:12:24 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever seen that happen?

00:12:25 - 00:12:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they're bad.

00:12:26 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 2:

Someone do that? It's so obvious. Oh, gosh.

00:12:29 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 1:

They're bad human beings. I love that the judge is like, let's go see your car. Like, that, honestly, that's like a Judge Judy moment right there.

00:12:35 - 00:12:52 | Speaker 4:

Right, because we have, well, I brought pictures. I brought pictures of my, it actually chipped the paint on my car door on the edge, which I'm not complaining about, but I wiped hers off, and it was like maybe, maybe a capital ding and i even offered her for my husband to pull it out because he has one of those ding

00:12:52 - 00:12:59 | Speaker 1:

removers and she's like nah you wanted your husband to pull it out with her what did you say

00:12:59 - 00:13:12 | Speaker 4:

use one of the dent things that yes yeah you can do it yourself yeah so i offered her my husband could take care of before i said i don't want nothing more to do with you people i'm like oh he didn't want nothing to do with you in the first place

00:13:12 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 1:

I love you. What do you smoke?

00:13:21 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 4:

Oh, um, uh, pyramids.

00:13:25 - 00:13:26 | Speaker 1:

I love pyramids.

00:13:26 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 4:

I was thinking I can replace Jackie.

00:13:29 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 1:

You know what? We could actually...

00:13:30 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 4:

Nobody can replace Jackie. Well, not replace, but yeah. Fill in for it.

00:13:36 - 00:13:45 | Speaker 1:

Fill in for it, God rest her soul. But maybe we need some more smokers here. We could have Smoker Sandra.

00:13:47 - 00:13:57 | Speaker 2:

All right. There you go. Give us a little laugh like that, though. Let's see how well you can do it. Got to get some more gusto in there. No, you got to.

00:13:58 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 1:

Come on.

00:14:02 - 00:14:02 | Speaker 3:

That's pretty good.

00:14:03 - 00:14:12 | Speaker 1:

It's got to be like, you know, right? Give us one of those. Come on. Give us a.

00:14:19 - 00:14:22 | Speaker 3:

It burns. It burns.

00:14:23 - 00:15:06 | Speaker 1:

I love it. All right. So, Sandra, you hang on the phone. This is Smoker Sandra, Pyramid Smoking Sandra. In here is us. Yeah. And we're going to have, oh, these are all the Smoker Jackie ones I used to have. You haven't played him in such a long time. Remember how you said it? Jackie is smiling down upon us right now from heaven. And we are missing her dearly. But Sandra, you know what it is? You are... I'm trying to think of, remember the TV shows where they would always have like the replacement? It always was in soap operas like that. I would notice.

00:15:06 - 00:15:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, yeah.

00:15:07 - 00:15:09 | Speaker 1:

And then it's like you're. Now playing the role. Yes.

00:15:10 - 00:15:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah. That's great.

00:15:13 - 00:15:22 | Speaker 6:

Poor thing. Oh, Sandra. You got to stop. What an excellent day for an exercise. I always laugh with you guys. I can't stop.

00:15:22 - 00:15:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh, God.

00:15:23 - 00:15:25 | Speaker 6:

Well, you barely laugh.

00:15:25 - 00:15:38 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, be careful. I'm worried that you're going to not catch your breath one time. So don't have that happen to you. Okay. Okay. All right. I'll take care so I can keep listening. I love you. Hold on one second so that Lydia can grab your phone number.
