Mike, how was your celebrity meet and greet that you had over the weekend?

Oh, it was good. It was good. So it was a buddy of mine's, like, grand opening party for his production company, which is called Black Pigeons. They're going to start doing movies here, or they're hoping to start doing movies here in Michigan. And they're a big part of that, that tax incentive and all that kind of stuff. So they're a big part of, like, doing movies in Grand Rapids and bridging the gap between Hollywood and Grand Rapids. And so he invited me out to the grand opening party. And he mentioned that Lamorne Morris from New Girl was going to be there, which is Winston, Winnie the Bish. and um so we went and showed up and and he was there and he gave a speech he's he's a really cool dude i guess he works for iheart too i had no idea but i guess he does podcasts for iheart like a new girl podcast i didn't know that until that night but that in right there he's like oh you got to come to our after party you're part of the iheart family you got to come to the after party i was like uh yeah we might do that i was like but before we go can we grab a picture really quick he's like um yeah yeah sure of course of course and so uh we asked this girl who's standing right there hey can you can you take a picture of us so we get a picture and for some reason my stupid face wouldn't cooperate and i kept blinking or making a weird face in the picture and i didn't have the live photo on so i'm like ah i can't you know these are stupid these are dumb so i uh was gonna i was like we gotta get somebody else to take this picture because i'm not gonna ask her to take eight million pictures so we asked another person that was standing with lamorne or winnie the bitch uh hey can you grab a picture in that moment right in that moment she the girl who originally took our picture looks over and sees us taking another picture with somebody else and gets like offended like her picture wasn't good enough how dare you what are you doing and she starts throwing a fit to the dj standing right there wait really yes she made a big huge deal about the fact that i asked somebody else to take her picture and if you look at the picture i sent you guys you can see the guy to his right yeah is reacting to her because she's i mean she's throwing a fit and my face is oh my god just don't blink in this one so we can keep this picture but also don't smile and and then how like i'm i'm watching it all play out too i didn't realize that was an offensive thing to do to ask for a retake of with somebody else sometimes like what

happened in your like it's not a good picture or your eyes are closed yeah it's i always get super nervous having to do that too but you gotta get a good picture yeah i always am the person that

chooses the worst person to take a photo to like i'm the guy i'm the guy that goes oh hey can you take a quick photo and it's like a random stranger and the person has no they're like i don't know iphone at all i'm like wait a second okay so i got the android user trying to figure out where to go he's got or she's got her finger over the camera and they can't figure it out or the worst

picture or they turn it listen you listen you ruined my photo with taylor lautner you ruined it and nobody could even tell you listen i'm gonna say this to you guys right now So these two guys, I will never, and Spike, I'll add him to the list too. Never take a photo of those guys. Want to know why? First off, they want you to take 8,000 photos. Nope. Just one clear one. Because 8,000 photos. Oh, no. That's not good. We don't ask everyone else to take 20. It's just you. And I look at them and I go, listen, you guys already filter the crap out of your stuff. Why don't you guys just filter the crap out of it? It will look fine.

You can't filter closed eyes.

You can't filter so much blur.

But I think it wasn't my eyes that were closed. You can't filter a finger over the face. You're the one that kept your eyes closed.

Looking good, man. Looking good. Is that a thing? Can you not ask another person to take another photo, like if they're taking a photo for you? And are there certain people that you just cannot ask to take photos? because that's another one, too. When people are just randomly walking in a public area and you just go, hey, can you take a photo? I've had people that give you the, I'm not taking a photo. I don't want to do the whole thing. I thought everybody was fine about that.

But you have to scope out who you think is going to take a good photo. You can't pick an old person, no offense.

A woman in her 20s knows how to take a great photo.

And they'll take like 10 because they get it, that you need a few.

You can always tell the people that don't care, too. Like if you hand them the phone and they're like, or they just take one.

I'm like, it's not going to be good.

Yeah. And then you can also tell the people that know how to take a photo because they get really fancy with how they're holding the camera. And you're welcome. They like hold out, hold it and take like a bunch of them. And then hold on a second. We understood the assignment. Or they change your back. Like they go, the lighting's not good. You don't want the light, you know, they're behind you. I put the light over here. Like they'll do stuff like that. And you're like, wow, this person's unbelievable. And then you start thinking, they're going to run off with my phone.

Or I love when you ask somebody to take a photo. It's always like a kid. If I ever ask like a kid who's like 15, they always have to take a selfie of themselves in there.

Actually, it's funny because I've seen it before where you ask somebody to take a photo and they'll go, I'm not really good at this thing. And then they'll hand it to their kid who's like 10. And you're like, wait. And then they go, that's actually a pretty good photo. Would you like to be Reese's intern? You can be our Director of Social Impacts intern at the radio station.
