00:01:57 - 00:02:03 | Speaker 5:

thinking about you mike how was your drive-in oh it's down to like one lane like i drove 50 60

00:02:03 - 00:02:15 | Speaker 7:

miles an hour yeah we got a few inches last night yeah you guys uh hey you guys uh got hit got hit buffalo style did you see by the way uh the game got moved to ford field yeah so browns and buffalo

00:02:15 - 00:02:16 | Speaker 5:

are playing at Ford? I'm contemplating

00:02:16 - 00:02:45 | Speaker 7:

seeing if I can get a ticket and go because it's kind of wild. The only time that this ever happens is like Super Bowl or when there's a weather issue like this. I think that Buffalo had to do this one time before and then Minnesota had to do it one time when they had issues with their stadium and the stadium leaking. And then I know in New Orleans they had to move games because of Hurricane Katrina. And so this is weird that you get two teams playing in a neutral site other than a Super Bowl. Very rare.

00:02:45 - 00:02:51 | Speaker 8:

They said it was snowing three inches an hour overnight in Buffalo.

00:02:51 - 00:02:54 | Speaker 7:

They're going to get like between three and six feet of snow.

00:02:54 - 00:02:54 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:02:55 - 00:03:20 | Speaker 7:

So in Buffalo, people know how to do it. They don't complain like I do. So they're used to getting a lot of snow, although nobody's used to that kind of snow. Right. So, Mike, you're back today, and you were off yesterday. And it was interesting because I went back and looked at your note that you sent, and you just said, yeah, I'm just taking a day off. I'm going to burn a vacation day, but you took it off on a Thursday. What did you do yesterday?

00:03:21 - 00:03:25 | Speaker 6:

So the new Call of Duty came out the day before. That's what it was.

00:03:26 - 00:03:33 | Speaker 7:

I was trying to figure out. I was wondering, maybe he's got a doctor's appointment or something like that. No, you took off to play video games.

00:03:33 - 00:03:46 | Speaker 6:

Yep, the kids went to school and their normal daycare. And I sat home, not a single person home. I listened to music super loud. I had steak and eggs for breakfast just because I could, and I played video games.

00:03:46 - 00:04:18 | Speaker 7:

Did you make it yourself, or did you order it out? Did you really? Yeah. Look at you, Mike. It's awesome. That's a good mental health day right there. It felt good. I'd love to know, like, what was the reason for the day off? Like, why did you take a day off? You know, other than being sick or, you know, having to go, you know, to some kind of an event for your family or whatever. What was the craziest reason why you took a day off? Mike took it off to go play the new Call of Duty. It was the day after Call of Duty comes out.

00:04:19 - 00:04:35 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, they had the new, you don't care, but they had the new Warzone that came out yesterday. So I literally did, I woke up, I sent the kid, like I said, bye, love you guys, have a great day. And they said, why are you not at work? I said, daddy's just taking a day. And I sat home, didn't put on normal clothes, just did nothing.

00:04:35 - 00:04:38 | Speaker 7:

You tell them why you're staying home, they're going to want to stay home with you. Yeah.

00:04:38 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 8:

i feel like in the months of november and december every company should give every employee just one day that could be called i just need to keep my spit together and not have a mental breakdown day so that you can like go out get organized get your holiday shopping done get some rest like this time of year is just so crazy for everybody it would be much

00:05:00 - 00:05:03 | Speaker 3:

Hear me out, though. More than just one day a year.

00:05:04 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm saying this time of year, if you could be still us one, it would be really nice.

00:05:12 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 4:

Russell, how jealous are you of Mike that he took a day off just to play Call of Duty? Russ. Hi, Russell.

00:05:21 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 5:

Are you talking to me?

00:05:23 - 00:05:23 | Speaker 4:

I'm talking to you.

00:05:23 - 00:05:24 | Speaker 2:

Is your name Russell?

00:05:24 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 4:

Is your name Russell? My name is Darnell. Oh, your name is Darnell. Darnell, well, what happened to Russell? I thought Russell was on line six.

00:05:32 - 00:05:34 | Speaker 5:

I have an uncle, Russell. I don't know if he called in. Oh, okay.

00:05:35 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 4:

All right. Oh, you're not on line six. I'm sorry. Our call screen board is completely whacked, so you're on call seven. Darnell, how jealous are you that this guy took a day off for—

00:05:46 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 5:

I am extremely jealous. This has been a long week for me and my crew, but a blessing for somebody else is a blessing for me, too.

00:05:54 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 4:

Where do you do for a living?

00:05:56 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 5:

I'm in the Coast Guard. I actually met y'all several years ago at Coast Guard Festival. Oh, yeah. Wait a second.

00:06:02 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 4:

When you say it's a long week for you guys, are you guys out there? Are there still people getting out there on the lake?

00:06:07 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 5:

I'm actually stationed down in Mississippi now, and we're preparing for a week in evolution. And it's been a long week. And I brought y'all down here to Mississippi, so my crew is loving it.

00:06:18 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 4:

Love it. By the way, we're going to send you a picture of what it looks like in Grand Haven right now. and you realize how it's better to be down there than it is to be up here.

00:06:29 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I know. My family up in Grand Rapids. I saw them all bundled up having snowball fights yesterday.

00:06:35 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's crazy. We love you, buddy. Thank you for serving. We appreciate you. Is this Darnell on the phone?

00:06:41 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 1:

No, is this Russell?

00:06:42 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 4:

Russell. Russell. That's right. We just talked to Darnell. We're doing this old school style. We're doing it over text message. KP's texting me people's names. Russell? Yes. Russell the love muscle. What's happening?

00:06:55 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 5:

I'm doing great. Just another Friday heading into work.

00:06:59 - 00:07:05 | Speaker 4:

Let me ask you a question. If you could take today off and do anything silly at all, what would be the silly thing that you would take a day off for?

00:07:07 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 5:

Just watch a whole day work those three stooges in wrestling.

00:07:11 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 1:

That is really random. That sounds outstanding. It's specific.

00:07:17 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 4:

Not the answer I expected, to be honest with you. Do you need a friend?

00:07:21 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 1:
