Mojo in the morning. You know who, to me, is always the guy that has a story to tell that is meant to actually be like this great moment of him being a really good husband, a good dad, and then he always ends up stepping in dog doo-doo, you know, when he does it? It's Mike. Hello. And yesterday might have been the Mike of Mike stories that happened to you.

Okay. So we have neighbors now who have college-age kids, and they're over there all the time. Their friends are over there all the time. There's always a bunch of people there, and it's fine. I honestly don't mind that at all, even a little bit. College-age sons, daughters? I think both. I think one of each, actually, and they have friends come over. And so yesterday or the day before, these two girls were in the front yard and they were playing golf. And I don't know if I mentioned this, but my daughter and I went golfing last weekend and she's super into it. Like she wants to learn how to play real golf. And I'm not a pro or anything. So I'm like, you know what? These two girls are playing golf in the front yard. They have golf clothing on. Like they weren't just dressed regular. I'm like, I'm going to walk over and I'm going to introduce them and I'm going to see if they'll give her some tips. Because maybe from a girl, from a woman who plays golf, that might sink in a little bit more. So I go over there. And I'm not exaggerating. I'm talking 30 seconds to a minute. I'm there. And all of a sudden, like, four more girls come out of this house. So now I'm standing in their front yard with, like, six college-age girls teaching my daughter how to play golf.

Yeah. Oh, yeah. Wow. That's really convenient. Right. Right.

And so then, guess who else walks out 30 seconds later? My wife with our child in her hand and my son in her hand. Oh, yeah. Oh, she was – the look. If the look could kill, it would have – oh, my gosh. She was so furious with me. And I instantly turned around and went – and turned back around. And Cecily's, like, talking to him and chatting, and they – you know, she's waving to mom. And I'm, like, now trying to get Cecily out of there. I'm like, hey, all right, Seth, let's go talk to mom. Let's head back. Let's head back. And she was, at that point, just interested in learning golf, and there was no coming back from that.

So here it is. It's a situation where you're going, and you're just trying to be nice, and you're trying to teach your daughter golf. By how many girls were out there at the time that you were there?

There was only two. It was like the girl who lives there and then her friend. And then I happen to sit out there for, like, a minute or two. And next thing I know, four more girls come out. The holes are hard. Yeah. And they're loving it because Cecily's, you know, nine. So they're, like, she's little. And they like teaching her things. And they're having fun with her. And I'm standing there, like, enjoying that moment of her learning how to play golf. And my wife was not.

I'm happy with it. Did you have to try to explain yourself then? I said the thing that you should never say in that situation, which is, it's not what it looks like. It's not what it looks like. That's the only thing I shouldn't have said, and that's the first thing I went to.

Because it was never going to be honored by your wife that that was the case.

No. My wife doesn't even play golf, but she's like, I'll teach him golf.

Mike is the young gravy of his neighborhood. Have you noticed that? Like they were chipping in the front yard. They were chipping.

Chip shops. Yeah.

Chip shops. I was playing golf, Allie. A bunch of college. By the way, were they also pillow fighting, too? Right.

I think that's what was going on through her head. Boy shorts. Yeah, right?

Oh, my God. Everything's just slow-mo. Did you do the whole, Cecily, tell mom. We were just here for a second, just golfing, right?

I said, what did you learn, sis? Tell her what you learned. And she's like, well, I don't know, but I really liked her skirt that she had on.

Dad said he liked her skirt, too.

Oh, that is so funny. Next thing you know, the sprinklers come on.

By the way, do you ever, now that you know that they live there, Do you ever, like, think to yourself that you can never, ever go over and say hi to them ever again? Because at least during summertime while they're on vacation, you can't have the college kids, like, all, you know, be hanging out there.

I don't, yeah, I don't really go. I mean, it's the neighbor with the dog, so I don't really talk to them that much anyways. I do say hi to the wife and to the husband every now and then. I keep my distance for the most part.

I can't wait until they're all outside tanning on their towels. And there's Mike, all of a sudden, that grass that he's really trying to get going needs to be mowed.

Yeah, or he's washing his car. How soon, by the way, until Mike gets binoculars?

No. Never. Ever. That's one of those packages you have sent to the other house.

You know what's funny about that is that in our neighborhood, we have at the end of the block, And I don't think that they live there anymore, but we had the college girls that lived down the street from us. They were like cute Keldean college girls that lived down the street from us. And I never noticed who they were, except for we live on a dead end and we're kind of in the middle of the dead end. I would notice them driving by. And I saw them and they were probably, I'm guessing, like Joe's age. So they're probably now in their 20s. And this is when we moved into the neighborhood. and every time that they would drive by Chelsea would say to me that I would excessively wave at them.

Like how? Like I would go. Like that? Like I'd get all excited.

But then. They're trying to be nice and they have the energy so you're just trying to be nice.

No, let me explain what he just did. It's like the little kid at a choir concert that sees his parents in the audience.

Like I was excited, you know. There's vibrance in our neighborhood. There's like, you know, there's attractive people that live at the end of the block. I've noticed that they've, I think, since moved out. I think it was the Kassar family or something like that. I think they moved out of the neighborhood. But real quick, can I just ask this question? Are you, even though Mike's 30 years old, good-looking young guy, young family, is it creepy or are there the creepy guys that go and hang out with the college kids? Because I would want to, I'd rather hang out with those guys. I'd rather hang out with the kids that are, you know. Mike, you hang out with young college girls at our parties that we have. At our parties.

Young, young, so young

And we don't ever think anything weird of us doing that But if you're in your neighborhood, you all of a sudden have to be more responsible, don't you?

If my wife came home and I was sitting on the back porch having drinks with the neighbor's kids I feel like that would be weird You would be in a lot of trouble, that would be weird

But what if they were all boys, like what if you and Allie lived right by Chelsea and I And so Luke and his buddies are hanging out, or Jacob and stuff Allie wouldn't think much of it They don't have boobs It wouldn't, yeah, but it's, you know They do Not the same But Allie would never think much of the fact that you're like hanging out with a bunch of younger people

If it was my kids' friends, I think that's different, right?

No, no, but I'm saying if it was like a bunch of boys that were in the hood, you know

Some of the guys have asked to come over and play basketball in our basketball court And I've allowed that, but I didn't go out there to go play with them Yeah. I don't know. Maybe it isn't weird, but it just feels like it's weird to hang out with somebody else's kids. All right.

I want you to call us up right now, and I want you to call us up and tell us about how your neighbor either hangs out with you and you're the young college kids in the neighborhood, or I want you to call us up and tell us about how your husband goes over and hangs out with the young people in the neighborhood or hangs out with the, you know. the younger uh the younger girls because to be fair my neighbor across the street is uh his name is mike and his wife's name is mary an amazing couple they're an older couple retired almost retired uh from grand valley uh they have kids that are my age and i hang out with him all the time yeah and you hang out with his kids but that's okay because they're your age right but i hang out with him so he would be doing the same thing sort of yeah he'd be hanging out with a

younger guy like me i would get it i would get this all the time when joe would come over to the house with jed you know back before they moved down to tampa and then they would bring over like their friends and girlfriends and stuff i would find myself wanting to hang out with them but then if it came to a point where it's like girlfriends brought more friends it did feel like a little bit like okay maybe i shouldn't be you know yeah but i don't know but i think yeah i think that's just so funny that Allie busts you on that.
