mojo in the morning show good to uh get a chance to go to the bathroom i haven't done that in a while um every time i go i end up running into a salesperson and starts talking to them non-stop and then I'm like, oh, crap, I've got to get back.

You came back with a little glass of champagne.

What was that?

Well, they were doing some kind of cheers to a sale or something, but then I drank it, and it was the fake champagne. It was the juice that you would drink with your kids. Oh, like the white grape.

It's hardly white grape juice, isn't it? The Welch's.

I think the last time that our boss, Colleen, got everybody cheersing and drinking, I think that it got a little out of hand. Nobody sold anything after that, so they were all said and done after that. All right, it is the Mojo in the Morning show. Mike got busted, and the people who busted him or potentially busted him are actually his wife's coworkers.

Yeah, so, and I don't know if they know yet or if they have checked the cameras yet, But we did a family gift this year. Well, Santa got us a family gift this year. What did you get? Oh, a TV. Ooh. Yes. That's a good gift. How big did you go? What time should we be over Sunday? 65 inches. 65 inches. Yeah, yeah. That's gorgeous. Yeah, it was a nice size. What's it like watching a game on that? It's glorious. It was 40 inches before that, so it was a significant difference.

By the way, do you find when you buy a family gift like this, and it's 65 inches, and you want to watch a game on it, that the kids want to watch a cartoon on the thing and you lose out?

So far, it has been Minecraft only. Yes. Minecraft and YouTube videos. And then I've watched a fraction of – no, that's not true. I watched the Michigan game on it. So that was pretty nice.

Because I was going to say, that sucks when you buy – I like – Allie calls it a family gift. Or unless you called it a family gift. Who called it the family gift? It was both. Okay, because I was going to say, because Allie knows if she doesn't call it a family gift, dad's not letting anybody use that thing. Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope. And I almost tried to keep...

the 40 inches is is bad it's like one of those old old old like when flat screens first started to come out like that's where it's when it's from and i was like we should just keep this so you guys can play games on it and you can watch all these other videos they're like no no no no that's going on the big one yeah uh but oh so we had that big box that it comes in and we had to get rid of it and i don't put it by the the dumpster i always just take it somewhere and i usually back at our old place there was an apartment complex around the corner so i would just go in there and drop off uh the any big boxes that i had in there but we don't live by that place anymore and so i'm like man what am i gonna do with this box and my wife's like well we have one at my work we have one of those big old dumpsters at my work and i said will they care and then she's like i don't know we just throw boxes and they're just smaller boxes i'm sure it'll be fine so i drove up i know during vacation pulled up there was nobody there and i threw this giant box because the box is 10 times bigger than the actual TV is in their dumpster. It's half hanging out. There's little boxes already in there. It's half hanging out. And then I turn around, and as I turn around, there's a camera that points directly at that dumpster. And I know they busted me. As soon as they went in this week to go throw away boxes, there's no way. There's no way they didn't catch me doing that. That's funny. I don't know what I do. Should I just admit to doing it right now?

Well, you just did. Your trash won't just take the big box? What's that? Your trash in your neighborhood won't just take the big box? I think they charge you for it. Really?

Yeah, anything outside of the dumpster, I think they charge you. No, I'm like Mike, too. I like that. I got to get it. And actually, I do this with smelly garbage. Like if we had something that is kind of smelly, like fish or something, I'll bring it into work, and I'll throw it in the back dumpster here at the radio station. And I know you don't have that ability to do that, Mike, because SNX is in a big office building. We're actually going to be like that.

I did it there too when I was in town when I was back in Detroit I had what was the box oh I had a bunch of boxes from like our house that I had to throw away and my wife had given me that chore and I brought it to Detroit with me and threw it away in your dumpster

here's the deal you have to call us up and tell us what's the dumpster that you use to throw stuff in and then what we should do is we should pinpoint them on a map and we should all just go to these people's dumpsters I usually try to like go to a strip mall

And you go to a strip mall, and there's usually a restaurant or something at the end of the strip mall, and they'll have dumpsters that are there. Because I noticed that Starbucks, they hide their dumpsters in a locked area.

Because of all of us doing that. Yeah. Yeah, I do the strip mall, too. It is illegal, by the way. It is? Yeah. Is it really? Yeah, it's a crime to use the dumpster. I've done it for, like, I had a metal table I couldn't get rid of. Nobody would take a donation. It was just, I don't know why, but, and it was too big for the trash. So I was like, I'll take it to the, it fits in a dumpster. And then of course it makes the loudest clank, the metal table into a metal dumpster, empty dumpster. It was like, why don't I just set off an alarm and let everybody know what I'm doing?

Well, and I also do it at night, like late at night, like when it's dark out. And I feel like I'm going to get arrested and then the cops are going to find me and they're going to put a crime on me because they'll find out that there's like some guy like fornicator. by the dumpsters and they'll be like here I am just trying to throw away

something. What happens if they find a body back there two days later and yours drivers, your license plate is the one that's on camera visiting.

I had that moment too. I turned around and I looked directly at it and I went oh, I should really like should I turn around back around and grab it? Because it was like one of those recycling dumpsters. It wasn't like I threw it in with a bunch of trash. But it wasn't my dumpster. Hey Michelle, what's up?

That has messed with my brain So much Because I sit there and rinse and put stuff only in the bin without the bag. And then I feel like they just mix it all up. Depends on the place.

Some towns don't actually collect recyclables, and then they dump it all in the same thing when they get back. But you have to check on your town and find out if they actually do it.

They're going to tell you the truth.

To be fair, Michigan, because my dad works in recyclables, Michigan's one of the better places where it happens across the country.

Whenever we get something nice, a big box, like a new like Mike had, we always had to take our garbage to the dumpster for safety purposes, because if we ever put anything out on our curb, that would let everyone know what you got. Yeah, that's true. How's it to rob, you know?

You don't want the thieves to think that, oh, guess what that guy's got for me to steal. So that was my

first mindset. Yeah, you don't want them to know this.

That was my first mindset, because I I just came from a neighborhood that was just like that. It was that I was worried that people were going to see that, and then if the box stays out and all of a sudden we get bad weather, then there's a big wet box just hanging outside my house.

Well, as soon as you started talking about taking the garbage to the dumpster, I figured it was for that purpose, but I'm just hood.

So in my old neighborhood, we had a dumpster that we used to use for trash. The property got sold, and the new owners had a resident record my 7-year-old take the trash to the dumpster, and I got ticketed for it.

Oh, wow.

For illegally dumping. That's what they called it.

What was the fee or the fine?

It was $146.

For my 7-year-old. I'm like, my 7-year-old's really trashed. They called it illegally dumping.

Not too much is working. So I just had a comment on the recycling thing. So the recycle is the biggest scam there is in the trash business. It's just a way to make extra money. So a lot of times what trash companies do is they'll have one trash truck do one sub for trash, and then they'll jump over to the next sub, and they pick up recycle, And they just mix it all together Most of your recycle is going to a landfill Anyway so there's no Most places don't even really actually

Was talking about how like They just have such pressure from the public to recycle That these communities all say they do it and they give you the bins and then they just throw it all and it doesn't, it all goes to the same landfill. Oh, yeah.

Yep. It all goes to the same landfill. Most times they just do it because if they don't offer recycles, another company will do it and they'll still trash it the same way as the other company would have done in the
