mike in alley uh mike and his wife went out for a valentine's date to costco this past weekend we posted so cute you can see the pictures up on our instagram and facebook we posted them over the weekend mike that was so cute and uh tell me i saw some pictures also from you guys eating it Didn't look like you guys ate at the food court, though.

No, no. So we don't normally celebrate Valentine's Day. Like, we'll do the day before because it was, like, our first date or whatever. Like, today would be the day we normally celebrate. But we decided, you know, let's do it. We never do it. So we went out, and I was like, all right, let's go to a nice restaurant. So she's been mentioning this nice, really, really nice restaurant in downtown Grand Rapids called Leo's. It's like a – they're known for their seafood.

And for those in Michigan, it's not Leo's. Like, we have Leo's, like, because there's a Coney Island chain that's called Leo's.

yeah and so it is this really really really nice place like super nice but she only mentioned it once uh like a couple months ago like we drove past it she's like i really want to go there so i felt like i'm not a giant seafood guy like a couple things but i thought this would just you know this will surprise her and she knows we're going to costco and doing this other cheesy stuff i thought this would be really cool so we went to this restaurant and it is a really nice restaurant like you could tell i could tell in seconds like i probably don't i'm i don't belong here necessarily But I was wrong. I was like, when I walked in, I was like, I felt like I just don't belong here. But once I got there and sat down, I was like, oh, this is really nice. And we had a listener sit down next to us. Her name is Hallie and her whole family. And she walked in and it was like a, it was like cheer. She goes, Mike, hello. Oh, that's awesome. Yeah, it was really cool. She's like, we listened to the show. We love, you know, I saw you before. I never said hi. So she sits down and we feel more comfortable as we're getting there. And then we look at the menu and you guys, I can't pronounce half the things that were on this menu. And so then I'm like, okay, I have to, I go into instant, like, like, I'm going to order whatever I can pronounce mode. Like, I'm going to get a steak because I can pronounce steak. And my wife wants a, I'm going to try to pronounce it again. And I know I'm going to say it wrong. It's Bula, Bula, Bula, Bula, Bula, Bula, Bula, Bula, B-O-U-L-L. It's like a bowl of something. A bowl of something. Go ahead. Say it again. Bala bin. How do you spell it? B-O-U, I think there's two L's and two S's. Do it one more time. B-O-L-A-C-E, yeah. B-O-L-A-C-E-A.

Oh, it's like a stew. Yes. Like a seafood stew.

I'm only annoying this because I just Googled. And so that's what we had to do. So I'm like, we're not going to be those people that go to this nice restaurant and go and try to pronounce this and look like fools. Because I've done that before, and then they correct you, and you look stupid. And now we're sitting by these people who are literally having a conversation with us, and I'm already kind of in that edgy, that edge mode where I'm like, I'm just trying to feel comfortable here.

I feel like this is a really, really nice restaurant that we don't normally go to. And so I'm a little uncomfortable. And so I pull up Google pronunciation, but my Google is so loud that it pronounces it. And I still couldn't tell you how to pronounce it. But it pronounces it. You know how it does it really loud? It's like, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Spell it for me, and I'll go into mine and do it.

It's B-O-U. I think there's two L's. It's B-O-U-I-L-L-A-B-A-I-S-S-E. A-B. Oh.
