to you mike what what did you do yeah i thought i was in big big big big trouble and i had to it was right before i was heading over to detroit too so i what didn't want to have the conversation about it over the phone i wanted to wait but i thought it was going to be like just stay in in detroit because what i had said what i had said is something stupid and it was 100 my fault i'll take blame for right now uh first and foremost but what happened is when we were talking last week about separate bank accounts my wife and i i think i don't remember who brought it up but my wife and i said that or have always said that we like having our separate bank accounts because it just works better that way for us and we kind of come together and then if she if we need something or she needs something she'll just jump into my bank account and i think the question was asked well why does she jump in or why does she go to your bank account why don't we go to hers and my simple answer was well i just i make more money at the time oh boy right right right right what i did not acknowledge in that moment and what word because she's very sensitive about this right now and i get it because she wants to go back to work but also we've had conversations about her staying home more yeah and she wants to do both but that being said i need to without even thinking about it understand that that is a job too like that is a you know so it's not so basically the way i made it sound was is that i just make more money and

she just needs to get money from me and it's also saving you guys a lot of money for her to stay home and not have to pay for as much child care yeah yeah isn't it like a stay-at-home mom brings in

I think you're dumb I don't know what you're saying I know you wanted to turn this into a topic And it wasn't just to be focused on this But I think the topic that Mike Was going to bring up was You hear the story about how People get In fights with their spouse And they got in such a bad fight That they had to sleep on the couch Well, Mike thought that this was going to be one of those ones where he was going to have to sleep on my couch and not his couch. Like, so big. What was the fight that you guys got into in your relationship that got you either sent to the couch or sent out of the house?

I think part of me, too, was like, I want to stay. I don't want to go home and have this conversation. You know what I mean? I don't want to. But it did, and it ended up being fine.

Mike spent the night at my house on Friday because, you know, we had the party the end um after the party was over with that i didn't want him driving home and obviously it wouldn't have been responsible for him to be exhausted driving home now i know why he wanted to stay he said to me he goes he goes uh what so what's uh what's going on for tomorrow he goes i'm gonna try to get out of here early because i got this meat gig that i'm doing you know he's doing he was giving out meat at dick's sporting goods yep and he's like but if you want I could always be late

Over three months What? How? We were just really, really not getting along. And it's so funny because I had a few listeners that would DM me and be like, you ever talked about your brother-in-law? I haven't talked to him either. I haven't talked face to face to the idiot.

I did not know that it was that long of a time. I knew you guys got into an argument, but I never knew that it got into an argument where you guys went that long without talking.

But we lived together and didn't talk to each other.

It's about pulling weight, and I feel like that's how she took it, yeah.

I didn't mean it that way, but when I heard it, I listened back to it on the way there. I listened to a bunch of podcasts, and I heard it, and I went, oh, God, you're an idiot.

Much better. Now, a couple weeks ago, me and my husband had a huge blowout over some fajita meat. Well, he said it was horrible and he wouldn't even feed it to the dogs. Well, he got so mad at me, he called the cops on me. What? And instead of, yeah, long story, instead of them taking me to jail, he went to big boy jail for two days. Wait a second.

Stop for a second. When you say long story, I got time.

I mean, what the hell?

happened what kind of meat are we talking about for he the meat and he was so mad i think it was because i cooked it and he didn't he's the chef of the house uh-huh and he just he kept it he had been having one too many drinks you know what he's eating so yeah he was gonna call the cops on me and it wound up they took him so you guys got oh goodness did you guys get like verbal and physical with each other and that's why not physical no not at all just verbal and because he was outside drunk talking crap to the cops wait why would he call the cops on you like what was his

reasoning like he calls 9-1-1 and says my wife made bad meat like what did he say

I still, to this day, don't know what he said.

He was just drunk and he was dialing.

It gets better. So yesterday we had, you know, what was left over frozen and we made it. And he still looks at me and he says, this meat is still horrible.

Wow. That's the thing you don't think about. You don't think about the kids having to deal with it. But I guess it's better that they're ignoring each other instead of verbally being abusive with each other.

Because, like, at some point, my mom would start joking around about, like, leaving my dad or, like, songs that she sang to my dad. That's why.
