Wednesday five lies to tell your mom coming up today we got a fun mom so she's got this like extremely thick southern accent where could she be from in our listening area oh she's from Toledo we will have her on with us this morning actually she relocated Megan from Louisiana to Toledo and has that's the route most people take yeah Louisiana to Toledo she was uh she was venturing for uh the paradise of Toledo Ohio um but uh she uh is a total character we might have to make her like misfit grandma you know something today we'll have to figure it out but wait till you hear that coming up here this morning uh today is the day that Aiden's going for his 15th in a row in the 5s 655 that is it that by the way will make him one of the few that's ever been a 15 time champion and then tomorrow he'll take on Shannon and then we get two new contestants so we'll find out and we're so proud of this kid because he's getting ready to end his high school career and he's going to be going on to college and so this is a really cool moment uh we have tickets to go see taylor swift jonas brother

and 50 cents so be listening this morning for that shannon's got a lot of dirty to talk about this morning the pistons have no luck last night they missed out on kidding me on victor the the the best pick that they say that this kid is a prodigy they say that he is in the level of michael jordan and uh lebron james they said he understand how they do that either the lottery pick or whatever i don't get that they they do it if your record is really really bad then you have a higher chance of getting it but they don't give you the best chance because they don't want people like blowing games on purpose the nhl and the nba did that a couple free a few years ago yeah but i don't think it changes anything you know well what do they say that it does is they they you know like i think there was like four teams that had like the best chance of getting the number one pick and unfortunately you know when this happens you hope that you're not that team that gets the fifth pick because there's you know you can get no worse than a fifth pick the Pistons got the fifth pick and uh they got screwed this they got screwed last year too so but I don't know we actually were watching it live Luke and I were in the last year when the same thing happened during the lottery thing he wouldn't watch it with me he went to Buffalo Wild Wings because he was convinced We were going to get another number one pick and be two years in a row because we got Cade, you know, a year or two years ago. And so he stayed he stayed home instead of going out with his friends, sat on the couch in the same position he was in when we got the number one pick with Cade. And then as soon as they pulled that card and it said that the Pistons were drafted in the fifth pick, he got up, left and got in the car and left and went to go visit his friends. He was like, yeah, that superstition doesn't work. Dude, is there like something that you sit there and think about like superstitions or lucky things? Because I'm one of those people that I believe in that. I totally believe it all the time. Same.

I wear the same U of M shirt on most U of M game days.

My bad. You know, what's funny is I think that the whole luck thing sometimes is one of those things where you just go, coincidence, and then there are those that say not, so.

No, no. I feel like if you believe it and you speak it into existence, you manifest it. Manifest it. Yeah. I feel like it's a real thing. It's a real thing. In fact, you know what? So I didn't want to tell you guys this because I know Megan's going to rub it in my face, but I ended up getting the license plate yesterday. Did you? Really?

For a couple different reasons. For a couple different reasons. One, a cop called in and said it was very illegal. And it turns out when a cop says something's very, very illegal and you're about to have a baby, you tend to take care of things a little bit faster than you normally would. Two, I talked about the topic with my wife, and she immediately went, I have been saying that for months. You need to change your license plate. And I went, oh, okay. Yeah, I should do that. But the reason I bring it up is because when I went and got the license plate, the lady at the counter was like, oh, my gosh, you got 333. That's one of the luckiest numbers in the world.

What?

Yeah, I guess so. And she's like, this is a lucky plate. You need to immediately put this on your car. And she went into detail about how it's an angel number and astrology speaking. This is a super. And so I sat in line while she was like going through my paperwork and stuff and Googled it. And 333 is apparently a very lucky number.

Really? And it's random too, right? Don't they just randomly grab the next one on the stack? Yeah, it was the next one. That's actually kind of. So 333 is good. So those are good numbers to have.

That's what the internet says too.

I just Googled it. It's a symbol of enlightenment. spiritual awakening, and higher consciousness. Wow. I've heard of people talking about angel numbers, but angel numbers are personal to each individual. It's like a number that you see over and over again that truly is not a coincidence, and that's like your specific number. But 333 is legit like a, it is often seen as a manifestation of the divine trinity. Wow.

I was actually, to be honest with you, I'm kind of sad that you got your license plate. I was going to do a joke on you and talk to Allie and go and buy you a personalized license plate. What would you put on it? I was going to put Megan on there for Megan telling you to do it. Because I figured nobody's got the personalized license plate with the spelling that she has of the name Megan.

No. It's just like when I try to watch the Lions game and watch it, they always lose. But when I don't watch the Lions game, it's like they started winning. I'm like, well, maybe I shouldn't watch it and then just wait until the end to see what the score is to see if they won or not.

Well, you know what's funny is that last season, What, did they start 0-6 or something like that? And last season, I kind of stopped watching, you know, the games that they started winning, too. I think a lot of people stopped watching at that point.

It's like they play harder and nobody watches.

Yeah, it's almost kind of like we got to not be so hyped up about it. That's the problem with it. Like last night watching that NBA draft lottery, I was so into it, so excited. I thought that this would be such a cool thing because if this guy came here, The reason why this guy is so good, he's like 7'7", or something. What is he? But they say that he's so tall, and he plays like LeBron as far as he can shoot, he can take it to the hoop, he can play defense. I mean, he's good.

And when they did the Lions draft, it was like that, too. It was like I thought we were just going to get the good person when we got our pick, but we did.

Yeah, we pick another running back.

I went to one Lions, like the second game of the season last year, and they won it. So I'm not saying me going is the reason, but me going is the reason. You need some season tickets, buddy.

And my sister and my nephew, or my nephew and my niece both passed away. So, they were both kind of guiding him.

And I said to him, no, Tony, I swear to you that this was the wildest thing about it was everything that she said to me at that moment. celebration that she's showing me the balloons so it's like congratulations and no your parents both of them are in the background celebrating this milestone i'm so proud of you and how you show up for your family and you you give your family a good name and your dad is standing here showing me saluting you it means honor respect for um it's just again the legacy that you're carrying on and take the big trip are you guys going to like hawaii or did you just talk about

this giant family trip um we've talked about a couple things but chelsea's taking luke on a

on a big trip it's a big deal on a lot of levels but they're gonna it's safe to go and enjoy it that's what it's all about yeah um and your mom is showing me something about you not to eat sugar you're not eating sugar or don't eat sugar well look at me i mean come on i just saw not eating something that would be dessert and hold on did you have a crazy dream about them just recently i did they're saying that was real it wasn't like your mind subconscious it was a visitation yeah my dad was just in my in my dream

and uh with luke graduating from school yes and we're talking about the graduation and they're

saying we are still energetically one foot in this world celebrating all of it it was wild i had a

dream uh a couple nights ago it's sunday night that my dad showed up at luke's graduation we're sitting there at the graduation and all of a sudden my dad walks in and i knew my dad was dead
