Not every sale happens at the register. Before AT&T Business Wireless, checking out customers on our mobile POS systems took too long. Basically a staring contest where everyone loses. It's crazy what people will say during an awkward silence. Now transactions are done before the silence takes hold. That means I can focus on the task at hand and make an extra sale or two. Sometimes I do miss the bonding time. Sometimes.

Mojo in the Morning Show. Mike is losing his dad card.

00:01:39 - 00:01:46 | Speaker 7:

What did you do? Well, I went and got one of those inflatable Christmas decorations.

00:01:46 - 00:01:47 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I saw that.

00:01:47 - 00:02:04 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Yeah, like my first one. It's kind of like the start to... Hold on, let me look real quick. Is it still up on your on-air, Mike? No, no, no, no. I posted it in my story for a second because I was super excited about it, and then it just kind of disappeared. But I can send it to the group. Oh, there it is. No, it's on. I got it. I see it.

00:02:04 - 00:02:07 | Speaker 8:

Oh, okay. It's right there. It's on your mic. It's in the story still.

00:02:08 - 00:02:44 | Speaker 7:

So when I posted that, immediately I got like three or four DMs, and one or two was like, hey, where did you get that? That's cool. I can't believe you started Christmas decorations already. And then the other ones were like, what is going on with your lawn? And if you look at where it's sitting, that's supposed to be where mulch goes. There's supposed to be mulch right there. And I've been in that house for two years, and I have yet to put in any sort of mulch or any sort of anything there. And in Halloween, it looks spooky. You put pumpkins there, it looks good.

00:02:44 - 00:02:46 | Speaker 5:

And again, you just moved into this house?

00:02:46 - 00:02:48 | Speaker 7:

Two years ago. Two years ago, okay.

00:02:49 - 00:03:01 | Speaker 8:

Gotcha. Isn't it funny? We talked about listeners that can spot, like, when Spikes, if you guys have not seen Spikes' bed made by him or made by his girlfriend, Megan, you've got to look at that.

00:03:02 - 00:03:04 | Speaker 5:

People were zooming in on the smallest little details. It's crazy.

00:03:04 - 00:03:06 | Speaker 8:

And Mike's, too, now I'm zooming in.

00:03:06 - 00:03:20 | Speaker 5:

I made fun of Mike, but I did it last night. I immediately zoomed in on that photo, Mike, when you posted it. It was like, hmm, Mike, I think he's using an indoor cord that's not UL listed to use outdoors. That white cord is not meant to be an outdoor cord. I'm going to have a fire.

00:03:21 - 00:03:25 | Speaker 7:

That's the cord that goes to the To the inflatable

00:03:25 - 00:03:27 | Speaker 5:

to the graduation? Really?

00:03:28 - 00:03:31 | Speaker 8:

Mike's that neighbor too with all the inflatables in front. How many

00:03:31 - 00:03:35 | Speaker 2:

inflatables you got, Mike? He's only got one inside. That's my first one. I like that. How many are you going to get

00:03:35 - 00:03:43 | Speaker 7:

now? I know you. You know what I want is one of those giant skeletons and then I want to use it for Halloween and for Christmas. You know what? I saw the coolest

00:03:43 - 00:03:51 | Speaker 2:

inflatable. I think it was at like Home Depot or something and it's a big It's a big movie screen and it plays a Christmas story on it That's awesome

00:03:51 - 00:03:54 | Speaker 5:

Unless you're the neighbor and all night you hear

00:03:54 - 00:03:59 | Speaker 2:

My neighbor would love it And you're worried about

00:03:59 - 00:04:03 | Speaker 7:

Spike you're worried about that cord but there's no grass there Because I failed my line

00:04:03 - 00:04:04 | Speaker 6:

Yeah

00:04:04 - 00:04:10 | Speaker 8:

Mike's neighbor Welcome to Mike's neighbor Merry Christmas everybody

00:04:10 - 00:04:19 | Speaker 6:

I said I like a Christmas story What I said I'm Jewish That's the Aguilar's next door

00:04:19 - 00:04:21 | Speaker 7:

It's surprisingly quiet

00:04:21 - 00:04:23 | Speaker 8:

Is it really?

00:04:23 - 00:04:30 | Speaker 5:

And then during the day when they're not on When you turn the fan off It just looks like garbage littered all over the front lawn

00:04:30 - 00:04:38 | Speaker 7:

Well, I've only done that a couple times But if you leave it like that Especially when it snows or when it rains It collects water So I don't even take it down anymore I just leave it up Oh, I just have it on all the time?

00:04:38 - 00:04:57 | Speaker 8:

Just leave it up all the time Yeah, there, Mike By the way, where This picture on on-air mic of the Grinch, what's the proximity to the children's bedroom? Because this thing would never happen in our house when the kids were younger if the kids' bedroom was close and they would be up all night because of this.

00:04:57 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

It could be like a noise machine, lull them to sleep.

00:05:00 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 3:

It's like a fan.

00:05:01 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. It's on the opposite side of the kid's bedroom. Yeah. So they can't see it.

00:05:06 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 3:

But close enough to neighbor Doug's bedroom. Right. Your neighbor's. Yeah. Yeah. So, okay, why are we taking away a dad card today? Whose card are we taking away? You want to call out your guy or maybe a friend's guy, whoever, that dad card is getting taken away because they, like Mike, aren't keeping up with their grass and their yard. You see how many leaves I have in front of my house right now. I'm just praying, and they all commiserate in one area.

00:05:40 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 2:

Because the wind just blows them there.

00:05:42 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 3:

And the snow's going to come, and it's going to be snow leaves all over the place. I'm like, why do I go out there? They'll just blow away. My poor neighbor, so my neighbor Jen was out the other night at like 8 o'clock at night in the dark raking her leaves

00:05:56 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 2:

and blowing her leaves I'm like you are a do-gooder what are you doing do you want to come to yeah

00:06:03 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 3:

please um and and I'm realizing how bad it is that I'm the one that's living next door

00:06:09 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 2:

have you had been the the leaf neighbor yet oh my gosh yes so right she so I have a neighbor if you if you miss me talking about this it's a tradition at this point but I have a little old lady who lives across the street from me. And her and her husband hate the fact that my leaves blow across the street into their yard. And so every year I wait for it, she'll flag me down in my driveway and say, there are a lot of oak trees in my yard. And I don't seem to have an oak tree as she's looking at the oak tree in my yard. So this year, the husband took it a step further. I know her name i don't know his name uh and i caught him in my yard taking a picture of my tree for like proof that i'm the one that has the oak tree that's blowing all the leaves over to their yard i don't know what he plans to do with that photo but there he was in my yard taking photos

00:07:01 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 3:

of it i love the isn't that great the neighbor next door my leaves are clean now but gets judgy

00:07:08 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 2:

on that right i i will say this i have to wait for them all to fall i have so many big tall trees around my house i have to wait for all of them to fall or else i have to do it like three times i

00:07:16 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 3:

do feel bad because you have neighbors that really take great care of their lawn yeah like the people across the street from me they're this husband and wife they are out there i feel so bad for them there's more trees that are right by their house and then the wind blows a tunnel right by their house and i feel so bad for this woman she's got she must have like 35 of those brown bags in front of her house with leaves in them and it's just uh it's all my leaves that are all over the place at that particular uh uh house what's up when in that situation when your leaves go into somebody else's yard that's their leaves to take care of mother nature yeah right well in in my neighborhood

00:07:55 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 2:

too we're we're lucky we can we can rake them all to the street and then like uh you know someone the truck will come in and suck them up blow them right back in your yard well yeah so that's what It happens. People put them all in the street, and then on a windy day, they just blow everywhere anyway.

00:08:09 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 3:

Possession is 90, what is it, 99 cents of the law or something like that? You have it.

00:08:12 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 4:

I had the, you could take away my dad card, because I was putting up the Christmas trees on, the lights on Saturday outside my house, and my neighbor Greg comes over to say hi, and I always have a speaker blasting, but this was the song. I'm like, putting up my Christmas lights, and Taylor Swift, You Belong to Me, is blasting out of my speaker, and I'm like, singing along. He just looked at me like, great.

00:08:34 - 00:08:36 | Speaker 3:

Dad card gone, dude. What's up, Adam?

00:08:37 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 5:

Hey, so you guys were talking about the inflatable Christmas decorations. There's a house by me that has over 100 of them out at the same time.

00:08:46 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

00:08:47 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 5:

Their bill has to be crazy, right? I can't imagine. And we drove by and we stopped counting at 100 because we didn't stop. And there was one time last year we had this crazy 60-mile-an-hour windstorm. And so my wife and I were like, we have to drive by to see Washington. It goes sideways, right? It was a hurricane went through. All of them were blown up against the house. It was just crazy.

00:09:13 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

00:09:14 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 3:

Isn't it funny that those are the neighbors that you just feel bad for, too, at that moment, but you love laughing at them? What's up, Casey?

00:09:23 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 1:

Hi. My comment is about the leaf. We don't have, like, a mean leaf neighbor, but we have that neighbor every fall when we go out and rake our leaves. They have to go out there and rake their leaves as well, so that way their yard doesn't look bad compared to ours. And in the summer, it's the same thing. When we go out and mow our yard, here they come mowing their yard.

00:09:43 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 4:

But why are you complaining about that? That actually looks nice, doesn't it? They're doing their job.

00:09:47 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I'm not complaining about it. It's funny because when I go out and mow or go out and rake, I can expect them to just watch me doing what I'm doing out in the yard, which is kind of creepy. But I know here they come.

00:10:00 - 00:10:01 | Speaker 6:

I know they're going to come.

00:10:01 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 2:

Meanwhile, they're complaining about you going, oh, great. She's out there doing her rake. Now we got to rake our leaves.

00:10:07 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 1:

I have to do.

00:10:09 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 4:

Thanks for the call. I appreciate it.

00:10:12 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 2:

That's someone who never lived next to a nightmare neighbor. Like, she's complaining that they come out and clean their yard after she cleans her. You've never had the other side where you go, oh, my God, why won't they mow their lawn?

00:10:22 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 4:

Listeners want to know also from Mike, did you get in trouble for talking about Allie yesterday on the show and the explosive fart?

00:10:32 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 3:

She gave me crap for it all day. And that wasn't meant to be a pun, but that's basically what it was. Like, she went to the bathroom right before we put the kids to bed, and she kept just walking around, and I'd say something, and she'd just look at me dead-faced and go,

00:10:46 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 6:
