So I mentioned in last hour, so I was talking about how we had the issues at the airport. So there's the issues with where they canceled my plane ticket. So we ended up having to cancel going away. I got to tell you guys the funniest. So we had somebody that was going to be staying at our house. And when we decided that we were, okay, not going to go on this trip because I didn't have a ticket and Chelsea and Luke weren't going to go, we all decided that we would just drive home. Well, we didn't call the person that was house-sitting for us and tell them that.

Oh, no.

And we pulled up to our house to about, I think there were three or four cars in the driveway, perfectly positioned and parked away from the ring cam so that you couldn't see out of the ring cam range of being able to see it on the ring cam. Because I did look at our house at the time, and I said, well, we'll just go home. And actually, I saw that there was an Amazon package on the front door. And I said, oh, this is good. We got a package anyway. We'll go home, whatever the whole deal is. And when we showed up at the house and pulled in, I couldn't even pull into my garage because the cars were all kind of blocking me. I had to park on the street, walked in to the person that was house-sitting for us, and four other people sitting around having drinks and hanging out, watching TV and movies and stuff.

Wow.

Was this person so surprised when you guys walked in? Oh, they were shocked.

Well, first off, it was wild because I said to Chelsea, I go, did you say that they could have people over? And she goes, no. She goes, but, you know, I get it, you know, if they want to have somebody over. I said, well, it's the difference between somebody and a whole bunch of people that are coming over. And she, when we walked inside, was so shocked. It was like the look that somebody gives, and I don't know this look because I've never experienced this before, but I can only assume. When you either, A, catch them naked in a toilet, you know what I mean? Like you walk into the stall and you see that.

Yeah.

Or, B, walk in on them, you know, having sex with your wife or something. you know like one of those moments i have caught somebody in the toilet going to the bathroom though i did i i take that back um but it got me thinking this would be a really funny topic of what did you catch the house sitter doing like have you do you guys ever have people like go like shannon you're

going away do you ever have somebody to just come over and it's like and no because my dad watches my dog and i i have grandparents watching the kids but i'll watch your house

let any one of us go and stay at your place and watch your house who would be the one person on

And honestly, the person that stayed and I didn't, I'm not saying their name because Chelsea's like, don't say it, say their name. But I would let them stay again. But I said, we should have Lydia. Because I was thinking like people that, you know, you know, would come and say, and I go, there ain't no way I would have Reese do that thing because I've seen Reese post some pictures sometimes of him just randomly sitting at his house and hanging out at his house. And you look like you don't shower all weekend. Do you shower?

Yeah. And I don't want you in my bed with the stink on it.

I will say my dad did go out of town one time though, and he installed cameras because he I knew that I was going to have people over. Yeah. And I caution tape off all of the places where the cameras were. So you couldn't. You caught me.

That is genius. And I still threw a party and I still got away with it.

That is so smart. And you keep inviting all these young people who have friends and plans. I'll sit on your couch for five days. Nothing will happen. That is true.

That is true. Actually, you know what? You would watch all the shows and you wouldn't undo it that you watched it. It would look like I watched all those shows.

All of your snacks would be gone, and then I would buy you new snacks because I'm respectful.

Actually, to be honest with you, I would have no problem letting you, but I know you drive from afar, and I don't want you to have to do it.

What's great is you went to the airport, you dealt with all the idiocies there and came back. They wasted no time. She was there two hours later. She already had a whole crowd at your house.

Well, we did go really early. So our flight was at 2-something, and it was boarding at like 1.45. I showed up at the airport. We signed off the show at 10.30 on Friday. I was at the airport by 11.15. Like, I was there. So I was there really early. And you're right. It was an afternoon party. I mean, it was happy hour.

It was day drinking.

They may have been camped out at the Blintby down the street waiting at Subway for you to actually, like, pull away.

First off, you should see how much she packed to stay at my house. And secondly, you should have seen all the grunt. We said, oh, no, take all the stuff you have. She loaded up the fridge with stuff Like she was planning on like making a full meals And you know barbecuing And doing all kinds of stuff

That's the reason I have a house sitter To keep people out of the house I'll ask my neighbors to watch the house But I don't tell them to go in the house

Hi I have a story it's not about like a house sitter But it's about what my mom caught our babysitter doing

Uh oh Yeah, same thing You asked the babysitter to come over You don't expect them to be bringing other people

What did you catch the babysitter doing?

Well, when we were younger We were telling her that She would leave my brother in the crib all day long And he would cry And she wouldn't take care of him So she put a camera in the fireplace And put his crib in front of the fireplace

Oh my god And what did she see?

And the babysitter sat on the couch all day long With her boyfriend and my brother just cried all day long oh my gosh that's awful that's horrible needless to say

she never got hired again i bet yeah uh chelsea yours wasn't a house sitter it was a dog sitter

yeah i hired a dog sitter off an app and i came home to razors in my shower like human razors dog puke all over my floor she clearly had a party because there was like people's jewelry and glasses in my sink that smelled of alcohol. And I hired her for 15 hours overnight while I went to Faster Horses.

Wow. I gotta be honest. I know everybody hires plumbers and electricians and people like that on your app. I'm not hiring somebody on an app that's staying at my house. No.

Not anymore.

I know we Airbnb our homes and everything like that, but there's a difference between Airbnb in the home and a person coming that's just going to randomly sleep in my bed. You know what I mean? Well, I guess they know there's no difference.

I was going to say, I don't think there's any difference.

Yeah, my parents did. So my sister and I, we were kids, and we went on vacation, and we had the babysitter watch the house, and she threw a huge party and left a napkin, and there was, like, one napkin of a note in the garbage saying, telling somebody else to let the dogs out. And my parents saw it, and then when my dad got in his horse, the seat was all moved around so he had a party and you know what this is like it's like ferris

bueller's day off meets like risky business meets like all those other classic movies from the past so they would have gotten away with it if they didn't move the seat to a different setting and

And leave that note in the garbage.

Yeah, and needless to say, she never babysat again after that.

Hey, me and my wife went to Calhari for a weekend, and we came home early. My mom was house-sitting, and she had all my nieces and nephews and some of my sisters over, and they were having a cookout. She had, like, one of her friends over stay in.

And she never asked you guys

Never asked She was baffled We walked in and her friend was laying in our bed I'm like mom what's going on She's like oh I just had some people over I'm like why would you not ask

Was it her guy friend or who was it

No it was one of her female friends

Okay I was going to say The worst is knowing that the people are Fornicating in your bed

That would have been terrible

That's the reason why I don't want Megan house-sitting for me. You think I'm sort of being out of anybody on this show? Okay. I'm joking. I'm lonely. Oh, my God. How about this one? Hannah says that they actually found out that the babysitter was stealing your clothes?

Yeah, so me and my older sisters and my mom, she coached we all in high school volleyball. So we had a family friend, like a teammate of mine. It's her stepsister, my little sister. And I started noticing little things going missing, like a hoodie I laid out to wear the next day and then Lululemon leggings and more expensive items. And then like half my sister's closet was gone. So we ended up accusing her, saying we had cameras, even though we didn't. And she folded and said it was her and admitted to it all. and her parents had to, like, send us pictures of every item in her closet to get back everything.

Wow. Oh, my gosh. You know what that's like? That's like having a sister. It's like she's wearing more clothes, right? Yeah, except we weren't getting it back. That's crazy. Thank you for the call. Take care of yourself.
