So I, uh, and it was actually a true situation. So, so, um, this weekend I needed to get a haircut and, uh, the, uh, official hairdresser of mine, uh, I don't know if that's how she's titled. She's actually honestly has some very, very famous people that she cuts hair for. Uh, but her name is, uh, Katrina and I'm probably the least of the people that are on this list. I mean, she flies all over the world and cuts hair. Katrina was out this weekend and could not cut my hair. And I needed a haircut because we're having lunch today with the mayor of Detroit, Mayor Duggan. We're all going to lunch today. Actually, Shannon, myself, and Lydia. And I wanted to look presentable for the mayor, Mr. Mayor. You know what I mean? Because I'm hoping that I get the key to the city. He's bringing it. He's on his way out as the mayor. And I figure maybe he'll give me a key to the city and he'll give me even something more. You know what I mean? Let's see what's going on.

I didn't realize that this is what this lunch was all about today. It's probably Mojo Day.

I'm trying. I want to have that. So I figure, you know how some people have like one foot out the door at work and they end up stealing things from their work? I'm hoping that Mayor Duggan does that.

Or they start pardoning people, you know, for the president, whatever.

I would like that. So I needed a haircut.

Katrina was out. I texted her and she said, love, she calls me love or something like that, or honey or whatever. We have a very affectionate relationship. And she said, I'm not available right now. And I said, okay. So I ended up calling George from Six Salon. Okay, what up, George? George is a good friend of the show, too. And Katrina works in George's salon there. She actually cuts in the Six Salon in Birmingham. And I said, George, do you have time to fit me in? So George did. He fit me in. And it was really awkward for me. And I kind of felt like that Coldplay CEO. I felt like I was getting busted. Because there is something, and I don't know, do you ever feel this way? Have you ever cheated on your hairstylist or barber, Kev, in your case? Do you ever go to somebody else and then you feel like the next time that you go back to your person, you feel like you have to try to explain yourself because they know that they gave you a haircut

so long ago and your hair would look completely different right yeah no for sure shout out daryl i was in there this weekend but across from daryl is a woman named ashley and i was in the shop one night daryl went there and i'm like man who here cuts the best hair because you always wonder that too like yeah am i with the person am i going to the best person or is somebody else in here better than the person that I'm going to. And I sat down with Ashley, and it was a completely different experience. She took my jacket, hung it up. I said, where am I? I've never been treated this way before. Offered me a shot. She had candy. She was massaging my shoulders. I said, Daryl, no more. Oh, man, the massage would have done me in.

I got accused of cheating on my longtime hairstylist, Kelly, one time, and I didn't. The color of my hair, I think, just changes. Like, if I go out in the sun and stuff, and she's like, who did your hair i go kelly i swear i'm literally scared of you i would never go to anybody else without telling you and i love you but she accused me of cheating falsely i i have

to be honest with you kevin brings up a really interesting point because it's funny because he went from the daryl the barber to what was her name ashley to ashley and ashley does the whole

george did like up the game a little bit like he did like up like i i think i got a i got twice the shampooing i got a shampoo in the beginning and shampoo at the end he like she never did why do you need two shampoos because he wanted to get rid of the hair that was off of me then he started like doing things he textured and did all this stuff which is funny because i know that katrina does an amazing job and i love the job that she does but then i looked at george's thing i'm going oh my god he spent a little bit more time with me you like it better and it was kind of no i but i think it does look pretty good like i actually think it kind of looks like me look at me on the camera right now yeah but i kind of like was thinking and then i know he's the owner of the salon so you kind of get a little bougie he can like sit you anywhere he wants to he's like hey let's go right over here and i had like this my own little area where katrina has a couple of chairs in the back you know she's got like a like three or four chairs but i never get the one chair that's over to the side that seems like it's the you know so i i i will tell you it was very interesting like it was a very interesting experience but i i can't cheat on my katrina
