All right, Mojo in the Morning. I want a completely unbiased party here because I feel like I got a little bias on this end here. I'm going to tell you something I did, and I want you to tell me if you think that I am not manly for what I did, okay? And I know pretty much when you think of me, you probably don't think manly. It's Mojo in the morning. Mojo, Shannon, Megan out sick today. Kev, we've got something to talk about here with Lydia, okay? Because she witnessed this, and I think that she looks at me in a totally different light now. I think our relationship has forever changed, producer Lydia. so we were hanging out and um we were kind of we were all hanging out at the beach so we're on the water and we're hanging out and we're all sitting around and we're kind of hanging having some you know some drinks but also just kind of like just talking and stuff and my neighbor uh was there uh paul clem and um we're just out you know he and his daughter esperanza and uh his uh his wife um corinna and um lydia and then tony travato was there too or actually he wasn't there i think his his kids were just there and so we're hanging out and let me tell you what happens we start hearing all this commotion and this guy starts yelling at these two kids that are like maybe 12 13 14 years old and he yells at them like he's reprimanding them because they're doing something he's he thinks that they shouldn't be doing his kids uh no they were somebody else's kids their parents had left okay so they had left the water they went went away and um all of a sudden out of the blue paul gets up out of his chair and i've never seen this out of him he turns into the freaking you know incredible hulk and he goes runs up to this guy that yelled at those kids and starts going you mother f and baba you don't talk to those kids and i start screaming at these guys and the entire time that we're sitting there and i don't know lydia are you there i am the entire time that we're there i just stay in my chair and don't even make a move you had your face turned i didn't even look back i didn't even look towards him when it happened i wasn't going to get involved at all and lydia looked you're though lydia's like are you not going to say anything and i'm like no i'm not going to say anything and you're all taking care of it first off i'm thinking paul's being a crazed man i don't even think like he should be yelling like that i was like man keep it down some of us are trying some of us are trying to enjoy the

00:04:27 - 00:04:32 | Speaker 1:

weather mojo's acting like he didn't even know who he was i swear to god actually i was hoping

00:04:32 - 00:04:41 | Speaker 3:

he wasn't going to walk back towards us because i was like this guy's crazy and lydia the entire time is looking and did you you even said something to me you even said something like

00:04:41 - 00:04:56 | Speaker 1:

you're not going to do anything yeah i asked if you were going to do anything about it you said no and then i said well now i see why chelsea wears the pants here chelsea would chelsea would have said something if someone was like what chelsea would have stood up for what was going on

00:04:56 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 3:

Like what was going on was none of our business. I didn't know. what was going on but it was paul's business so had it been chelsea in that situation might have

00:05:05 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 2:

taken the reins on it my so so i guess this guy had said something to paul's daughter uh espy about uh their her dogs like the day before or something like that so paul had he was already in a spit list so he already didn't like this guy and so he didn't you know he for some reason got all upset which by the way espy's dogs are kind of annoying so they could have been right on that i don't know but the entire time i'm sitting there and i'm going i'm not getting involved because i know nothing i don't you know i'm an innocent bystander and um it brings up a question because lydia then says this to me she's like if you're in a bar or you know you're hanging out with friends and your friend starts getting into a fight with a guy at the bar you're not going to

00:05:51 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 3:

jump in and help your friend there's no way in hell you would i'm like i would not depend on that

00:05:57 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 2:

what is the old saying my name is bennett and i ain't in it that's me i'm not getting involved kevin if we're out together we're hanging out at a bar now if it was if it was like my wife actually chelsea probably say no this is the case too this is one of our biggest issues in our relationship is chelsea feels like i don't i don't stick up for people and stuff i don't here's my problem i go up there and do something like that and i get involved guess who the first person is that gets blamed for it the big guy the bigger guy always gets blamed for something and last thing i need is somebody videotaping me hanging out in the middle of a fight i'm not

00:06:36 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 1:

getting involved in that paul now if the guy started throwing punches at paul schmuck you know which you have run over and help him and helped him if if the guy started throwing punches

00:06:47 - 00:06:52 | Speaker 2:

I probably would get up and go, hey, don't punch my friend.

00:06:53 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 3:

No, he's packing up his chair and all his pretzels and walking away. Oh, his bags of pretzels.

00:07:00 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 2:

I had my chair. I had my Yeti. No, I had my Yeti cooler. I had my Yeti cooler there. I was just sitting there enjoying myself. I don't know. Okay, so here's a question. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Have you ever been out with a friend who got into a fight or a family member? Do you jump in to help them, or do you let them just deal with it themselves?

00:07:25 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 1:

See, most of the time, I'm blessed to not have friends that really be into the drama like that. Most of the time, it'd be women that'd be yelling and yapping.

00:07:33 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 2:

I'm telling you, bro, it's always a woman that got something to say. And then what ends up happening? The woman goes nuts, and you're the person that's got to bail her ass out. Then you got to, then you looking at her boyfriend like, come on. I looked at Lydia and I'm like, you're Chaldean, you're crazy.

00:07:50 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 1:

I'm surprised Lydia didn't get up and go over and help Paul.

00:07:53 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 2:

I know.

00:07:53 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm not getting canceled for something I'm not involved in. Well, same with me. What do you think I want? Well, Mojo, you are a man.

00:08:01 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 2:

Not a man when it comes to Paul. I ain't his man.

00:08:05 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 3:

I guess cancellation has no gender.

00:08:06 - 00:08:09 | Speaker 2:

He's not my man. I'm identifying as a non-man.

00:08:09 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 1:

paul paul's crazy by the way he sounded like he had it he said like he got up he was screaming oh boy oh boy needed more help than paul went paul went to ferris state enough said what's

00:08:22 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 5:

what's going on tiffany hi hi um i was just listening to you and i actually do this uh i have two younger children and there was a random kid beating on these little kids and i went off and the mom just sat there and my husband sat there and he said she hasn't handled i don't

00:08:40 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 2:

need to help her out i like i like how uh they're not even your kids and you're dealing with this yeah yeah well it's funny because the dad of these uh two girls came down and he was this guy was like you don't touch my don't talk to my kids oh he was and the mom was in there paul and then that mom starts high-fiving paul she's high-fiving paul going oh yeah what's great job man like whatever what's up amanda hi hi amanda hey good morning how are you guys good morning do you get

00:09:17 - 00:09:50 | Speaker 4:

involved in in friend fights okay so i'm about to be 37 but when i was in my early 20s yes now no um Reason being is because I intervened into a fight that a family member of mine was in, a cousin, and we both ended up catching assault charges. Yeah, see, I ain't doing that. With that being said, now I'm just like you, Mojo, M-Y-O-B, mind your own business. I'm not doing you. It looks like, listen, your boy had it. Your boy had it. Now, another guy would have came, then I would expect you to jump in and help your friend.

00:09:52 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 2:

Exactly.

00:09:52 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 4:

One-on-one, you're right. You need to just mind it. Last thing I need is a nice weather.

00:10:00 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 6:

day and i'm missing it out because i'm having to bail my ass out of jail what's up steve hey what's

00:10:05 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 4:

up mojo i look i i had all that in me 15 years ago anymore i got a couple more good ones in me as a friend as a friend you're supposed to sit by and make sure his buddies don't jump in on your buddy yeah right because that's when you jump in like all right if you're gonna have friends coming

00:10:22 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 6:

in then i gotta i gotta you know i gotta get ready all right here's the deal if we're in a bar and some guys start, you know, double-teaming. But if it's one-on-one, I'm fine. You're a grown-enough man. You can take care of one-on-one, right, Steve?

00:10:36 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 2:

You've got pretzels to eat.

00:10:38 - 00:10:39 | Speaker 6:

Why are you picking on my pretzels?

00:10:40 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 4:

You've got to be ready to put somebody on.

00:10:41 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 2:

Because, honestly, Lydia, I just want to know, like, about his whole beach setup. The attire, the dreams. Oh, I got it all.

00:10:49 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 6:

I had flip-flops on. I had my oofuses on. With the toes on? Oh, I had toes. All you had to do was show them the feet. They would have ran. I got a pedicure. What's up, John?

00:11:00 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 5:

Hey, hi. First time, long time. Hey, John. He's out on the phone.

00:11:05 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 6:

What's going on, buddy?

00:11:07 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, we were in Germany, and we had some other military gang up on our buddy, and we all just jumped in and just started brawling out. Because you got to sit up for your buddies.

00:11:20 - 00:11:20 | Speaker 6:

Oh.

00:11:21 - 00:11:23 | Speaker 5:

You can't be hanging out and just letting them hang.

00:11:23 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 6:

But this isn't military. If this was military, by the way, would you guys honorably discharge me from the military for not sticking up?

00:11:35 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 5:

Probably not, but that's the wrong thing to do because if you go into combat, you better hope he has your back.

00:11:41 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, okay. This is getting serious. See that? I guess I'm not a military guy, you know? I love our military. You don't want me. You do not want me. We'd lose every war that we were involved in. You ever see it Friday? Uh, no. Oh, never mind. It's a scene in there where this dude getting beat up. His daddy get out the car, and then Deebo be like, you want some too, old man? He'd be like, no. Dee run. Oh, no. Do I pick up Misfit Victor?

00:12:10 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 2:

Yes. You do.

00:12:13 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 6:

Victor, what's up?

00:12:15 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 7:

Good morning. Welcome back, guys. Good morning.

00:12:20 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 6:

Are you going to speak? What are you doing?

00:12:24 - 00:13:56 | Speaker 7:

Victor. Okay. Sorry. I lost you there for a second. Okay. What's up? No, uh, my, my, uh, wife and family and I were in a restaurant one time and we're watching the, the hostess argue with a group of people about their seating them and different. And going through that every day of my life at work in a restaurant, I was sitting back going, wow, this is very entertaining to watch. This is like, cool. I was enjoying every second of it. And all of a sudden my wife decides that she's going to interject in the conversation so she says hey uh just so you know they told me that we would not be seated either until our whole party was here it's like my head just turns and looks at her like what what are you doing all of a sudden the lady in the argument turns and looks at my wife says was anybody talking to you bitch oh no and to be honest i was thinking the exact same thing a little bit so i have to defend her honor and it was a group of like eight women so i said hey calm down she's just trying to help all of a sudden 20 guys come from out of the bar and are threatening to kill me they're all in fight stains they're like we're gonna kill you we're gonna beat the bleep out of you and this and that and i'm sitting there by myself and i turn to make sure like my wife and kids are okay and they're already at the table oh my god oh yeah yeah i'm just sitting there going yeah the police were called people arrested

00:13:56 - 00:14:07 | Speaker 6:

it was it was insane so yeah so you got yourself you got yourself involved to defend your your lady's honor and tina goes goodbye i'm out of here pulled a mojo
