The little girl with the big story to tell.

00:02:31 - 00:02:33 | Speaker 5:

Do you ever flirt to get anything?

00:02:33 - 00:02:38 | Speaker 4:

All the time. It doesn't work. I've paid, I've had to pay every ticket I've gotten.

00:02:39 - 00:02:41 | Speaker 5:

You have not, wait, so you're saying

00:02:41 - 00:02:45 | Speaker 4:

I have never gotten out of a ticket. Well, how about Same. By crying, flirting, nothing.

00:02:45 - 00:04:19 | Speaker 5:

How about not a ticket? Do you think you've ever gotten something, you know, like extra, uh, pour it on a drink at a bar or. Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like, but you, but you flirted before for the purpose of doing it. Yeah. Like it wasn't like it was unintentional. It was just, I'm purposely going to try to do this thing. I'm asking them this question because I want to know, like if they'll be honest enough to say like, Hey, I've adjusted my blouse to make myself, you know show off my boobies more so i can go get myself something for free that's more me never mind well i have to tell you something i did not adjust my shirt to show off my boobies although if you saw them you'd enjoy them but i did i did flirt to get help at the apple store and I it happened the other night it actually happened uh after our promo on Saturday did it work and went to the Apple store went up there I had an issue with my phone so I have they had to send me a replacement phone because I had a phone problem got the uh the replacement phone had a couple of questions and it needed some service stuff and I walk in and you know how when you walk in right away there's like eight million guys in blue shirts and they come walking up to you with like an iPad in hand and they walk up and they go can I help you with something and then they make you stand at a stupid table looking like you're honestly stalking the person that's standing there with you like it looks weird because they say oh i'm gonna send you know

00:04:19 - 00:04:23 | Speaker 4:

maggie over to help you and you're looking around going okay well which one is she

00:04:23 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 5:

standing by yourself or they actually what they did was they said here stand right stand right over here and i'm like standing there and there's another guy standing there we're both like hey so what are you doing here what's going on here oh you're kind of just hanging out well somebody comes out a guy comes out to help this guy and then a girl comes out to help me and she comes over and she starts talking to me and she says right away she goes well you're gonna have to make an appointment for that our next available appointments because this was late our next available appointments aren't until tomorrow at 10 a.m you know go on your app and like you're doing something and i'm like i'm just man i'm so this is so bad i don't want to drive all the way back here. I'm going to drive to the

00:05:00 - 00:05:35 | Speaker 1:

the mall i gotta go do this thing and all that and i'm just sitting there talking i'm kind of like asking her how her day's been going and talking about you know how life is and i'm just kind of having this conversation and i realize i think she kind of is liking me like i think it's kind of believe it or not i think i can flirt to get something because you can well here's the thing and i don't are there any guys that have ever done this call us up because i want to know if you actually have been able to pull this off because I start talking to her a little bit next thing I know tomorrow morning doesn't need to come because we're having a night together

00:05:35 - 00:05:41 | Speaker 3:

really that's a that is a good thing to flirt with

00:05:41 - 00:05:44 | Speaker 1:

a phone? we're spending the night together

00:05:44 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 3:

an appointment at the Apple store for sure

00:05:46 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 1:

she's looking at me and she's like and she actually makes a comment about my dimples she said something about she goes you have great dimples and I said to her I go thank you hey, can you tell me why it is that I can't get phone calls on this thing? I'm like, I was having issues getting phone calls. It was like, it was just weird. So we're sitting there talking for a little bit. Next thing I know, my genius becomes my lover. And we are now in a relationship together. And she actually helped me. She helped me the entire time. And I sat there and I thought to myself, you know what? It's not very often that guys get to do this. And I don't know, Kevin, I bet you flirt a lot. But have you ever gotten anything for flirting?

00:06:25 - 00:06:43 | Speaker 2:

Not that I can think off the top of my mind that was like, I don't know. I'm sure I've gotten free things, but that's neither here nor there. I think with you, you got to work those dimples. We went out to lunch the other day, and the hostess was all over you. I think she liked it. She literally pointed out your dimples. Are you serious? Yeah. She literally commented on them.

00:06:43 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 3:

I don't think I've ever noticed your dimples. Let me see.

00:06:45 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 2:

Here.

00:06:46 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 1:

Give her the grin.

00:06:48 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 3:

Give her the grin.

00:06:49 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 1:

Right there.

00:06:49 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 3:

You're right.

00:06:51 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 1:

And I got one on each side. I don't have the one side. The funny thing is, first off, go back to the Apple store for a second. That place is a mess. It is a freak. First off, they have in the center section of the store. You ever go into an Apple store on a Saturday morning?

00:07:08 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:07:09 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 1:

It's Senior Citizenville.

00:07:11 - 00:07:14 | Speaker 2:

They're all getting education classes. Those are good, by the way.

00:07:14 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 1:

They're all trying to figure out exactly how to work their phones. And they're all just sitting there the entire time. And I'm going, you pushed the damn button to answer the phone. How hard is it for you to know how to answer your phone? They're sitting there doing it, and then they take up all the time of these geniuses, so I have to make an appointment and try to figure out how the hell to do stuff.

00:07:35 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 3:

I will say, though, every appointment that I've made or had at an Apple store, those guys and girls, they're all so nice. They're all so helpful. They're just all good.

00:07:48 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 2:

I have flirted at a Chipotle. You did? That's where the O came. Oh, yeah. For extra meat? Get some extra sofritas. What did you do? Just smile. You can sense what somebody's into you. Let me see. Would I give you extra sofritas? It wasn't like a certain sofritas. I can't remember. Oh, it was that? It's more so in the way that you're talking, the physiology. You can always tell when somebody's flirting with you, right?

00:08:13 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 3:

This drives me nuts when I go there and I try to flirt and it doesn't work. And you're like, extra this, extra that.

00:08:18 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 2:

By the way, you do not have to yell down when they ask what we ordered. Yes, you do. I'm talking about they don't have to yell down and say, he got extra guac. Like, they don't need to know that at the cashier park. Yeah, be a friend. That was between me and you. Dude, can I tell you, I went yesterday, and they were like, what'd you get?

00:08:33 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 3:

And I got some free tips. And the girl goes, and guac. And I was like, I forgot.

00:08:39 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 1:

Wow. She thought you were stealing.

00:08:40 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 3:

I forgot. Maybe on it, man. I was like, it's a sign. I cannot hide it. You slid it behind the ball.

00:08:46 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 1:

You know what's funny? If I was going to come up with a competitor to Chipotle, my competitor would not be called Chipotle or any kind of Mexican thing. It would be all-inclusive. I would call it everything is included because I think that's the one problem with Chipotle. The fact that they charge, first off, what is guac really going to cost you? Just charge. And then thank you. I appreciate it. I should run. I would hit my applause, but I'll ruin my bed.

00:09:12 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 3:

The coffee I ordered yesterday morning was $7.55, which you paid for. Thank you. You're welcome. So $7.54. Because you get the same thing. You keep adding, adding, adding. Well, that and it's... Okay, I could go on a rant. Never mind.

00:09:29 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 1:

All right. Here's what I want. Do we have anybody that would call in and admit to us? 844-MOJO-LIVE is the telephone number. We're on. We're here. We're live. Hey, hold on. There I am. I want you to call up 844 Mojo Live and I want you to tell me what's the last thing you flirted to get like what did you get I wonder if there are any I only got a guy that texted in a guy texted in that he flirted to get a raise from his mail boss

00:09:57 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

hell yeah okay

00:10:00 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 1:

Would you do that? I mean, if you got it, flaunt it. Would you flirt with Nick Gnaw to get yourself a... How do you... What do you mean by a flirt with him? A male boss. You got to flirt with him. You got to tell him how great he looks. Hey, look at that. Would you get yourself? That's your color.

00:10:16 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 7:

I would be so uncomfortable if... How are the goats today? Yeah.

00:10:23 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 1:

He truly has goats, by the way.

00:10:25 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 7:

Can you bring me some eggs?

00:10:26 - 00:10:50 | Speaker 1:

um 41419 says i agree with you mojo it's a mess when you go to the apple store there's so many people they're trying to do one thing and that's just get their phone to work um i there's something about that place it drives me crazy what's up melissa hi hey what's up mojo nothing much what's

00:10:50 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 4:

going on what did you flirt for um it's actually really bad and i'm embarrassed and i thought i I was going to be voice disguised. Oh, here, hold on.

00:10:59 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 1:

Let's do it now. Go ahead. Now you're voice disguised.

00:11:03 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so the worst thing that I flirted for was a boob lift.

00:11:11 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 3:

Wait, give me all of the details.

00:11:15 - 00:11:32 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so I'm a bartender, and this older man comes in, and I've known him for years, and he would call it the boob tip jar. and my grandma passed away, and he just wrote me a check.

00:11:33 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 1:

How much did he give you? Because a boob lift's got to be expensive.

00:11:37 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 5:

It was $10,500.

00:11:39 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

00:11:41 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 5:

Do you have his number? Is he still alive? Oh, my God. He's gone now.

00:11:46 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 7:

No!

00:11:47 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you killed him.

00:11:48 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 7:

Wait, were you in a relationship at the time? Yes.

00:11:52 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 1:

Did you have to do anything other than serve this man drinks and show off those boobs? Like, did he ask to see the bear boobs for the prize?

00:11:59 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 5:

I've never seen the bear boobs.

00:12:00 - 00:12:12 | Speaker 7:

He was a very polite man. Wow. And did your boyfriend or husband, whatever, girlfriend, did they take issue with the fact that he did this or no? No, because he didn't have to pay for it.

00:12:12 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 5:

$10,000, you can do whatever you want.

00:12:14 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 6:

No, I understand that, but I feel like some guys would be like, absolutely not, you know.

00:12:20 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 1:

That's pretty amazing. That's a lot of money for him to put in that.

00:12:24 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God.

00:12:25 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 1:

By the way, you said tip with a P at the end of a jar, right? Not a T at the end of it?

00:12:30 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 3:

Right.

00:12:31 - 00:12:31 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:12:31 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 3:

Can I just put out, if anybody wants to pay for my plastic surgery, you can look at it. Just pay for it.

00:12:37 - 00:12:38 | Speaker 1:

You'll get some money.

00:12:38 - 00:12:40 | Speaker 3:

I'll get one for you.

00:12:41 - 00:13:03 | Speaker 1:

By the way, Megan, that ain't far off. I've heard stories before where there are people that will date basically to get plastic surgery or get things. somebody was telling me I can't remember which was one of the people that works at one of the stores was it the rich side of the mall is it the north side or south side

00:13:03 - 00:13:03 | Speaker 7:

at summer side

00:13:03 - 00:13:21 | Speaker 1:

the people that were one of the stores I think it might have been Gucci or whatever was telling me about the guy that brings in the girl that they don't have any kind of sexual relationship but he just brings her in they flirt together and then go off they each are in relationships and she gets but how does she explain

00:13:21 - 00:13:25 | Speaker 6:

I mean, how does she explain to people that she's got all this new stuff

00:13:25 - 00:13:27 | Speaker 1:

and she's coming home with all this new stuff?

00:13:27 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 6:

I have a lonely friend.

00:13:29 - 00:13:29 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:13:29 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 6:

Or unless she's telling her husband that they're, you know, it's from DHgate. It was $16 because he doesn't know the difference.

00:13:36 - 00:13:42 | Speaker 1:

Autumn, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. We're talking about flirting to get things. I've got the flirt down at the Apple store. Where's yours?

00:13:43 - 00:14:07 | Speaker 2:

Ours is at the Taco Bell. So Taco Bell is best nowadays, you know? So my female cousin and I would go there pretty often for lunch as we worked together, and we started calling the guy in the window. He worked there every day. We called him Taco Daddy, and eventually he started giving us half off every time we'd come. Okay, that's great. So I would go from $40 to, like, $12. That's great.

00:14:07 - 00:14:07 | Speaker 7:

Which Taco Bell?

00:14:09 - 00:14:13 | Speaker 2:

Well, I used to live in Oklahoma, so I was back there. Oh, okay. In Michigan now.

00:14:13 - 00:14:20 | Speaker 1:

Wait, so would you ever have to do anything other than just flirt with him to get free taco stuff?

00:14:20 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 2:

No, he knew it was us every time we'd pull up to the window because he knew our order by heart. So he knew it was us.

00:14:27 - 00:14:47 | Speaker 1:

Man. I like, by the way, the people that are texting in with their flirts that they have, like people that are, they flirted with the UPS guy at the UPS store to get free boxes and free packaging. I always wondered that when you go to the UPS, why are they charging you for the boxes? And it's very, very expensive. It's expensive, yeah. And they'll charge you to wrap up the stuff.

00:14:47 - 00:14:47 | Speaker 6:

Yes, they will.

00:14:48 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 1:

Let's see here. Another person here. Oh, flirted to get $5,000 off on a car at a Ford dealership. Do we think that we know where that dealership was?

00:15:00 - 00:15:01 | Speaker 3:

Does he have a baby tooth?

00:15:03 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 4:

Please listen to the podcast today.

This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

00:16:30 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 2:

Allen Lee, my major is drafting and design. In high school, I did it since my sophomore year, and I kind of wanted to continue it. It was the only thing I was good at. I didn't want to move to a four-year yet. I don't think I was mentally prepared. I found Bishop State. They had the program. I met a few people there. I ended up enrolling. The instructor, first day I met him, I told him about my background. He said, okay, great, you know about this. He built me straight to work. He didn't let me have any leeway. He pushed me to my limits. So I think that made me choose drafting and design at Bishop State and stuck with it. The sport's amazing. All my instructors just want to see me succeed. They want to push me to my limit. They want to see me be the best I can be, get a job, just be as successful as I can be. And I really appreciate all of them. With my degree, as of right now, my plan is to work for the city of Mobile with their urban planning department. And I've already got a job shadow before, and hopefully I will internship over the summer. If you choose Bishop, we're welcome to have you any day.
