yeah we got married on may 2nd in colorado oh my goodness congratulations it says first week of may

and i'm like oh my gosh just got married and you guys have been trying to conceive you've gone you know you've done all of the things and you have probably the most frustrating explanation and

it's quote-unquote unexplained fertility yes yep we got all the testing done and all of our numbers and everything are fine and we've tried medications and everything and nothing has worked for us

and alan definitely very frustrating oh god absolutely um the the letter that you wrote to us said alan in particular um you have always just dreamed of becoming a dad and so tell me

about tell me about that dream um well to be honest I kind of already had a taste of fatherhood a few years ago in my last relationship I was basically a stepdad we just weren't married then but I raised a little girl for about uh four years okay and I loved every moment of it And now I get to see Aiden interact with her nephew. And it just makes me see how much she wants to be a mom and makes me fall in love with her even more. And it just excites me. It's going to happen to us next.

Yeah, absolutely. And with the two of you both being registered nurses, giving your life to helping and assisting other people to see smiles put on their faces, is this definitely will be a great opportunity to give you the love and put the smile on your faces that you two deserve.

I like to go and watch them at their sporting events and their dance recitals, and they just truly have a special place in my heart. So this has been a little extra difficult for us, not being able to have our own.

You wrote in your letter, Lindy, that you guys met each other a little bit later in life than most. And from the very beginning of your relationship, you talked about this dream of starting and building a family together.

Yes. We were 30, 31 when we met. And so we were very clear from the very beginning what we wanted. And we just kind of aligned in all of our values and everything. And our dream was to have like three or four kids. and so we started like right after we got married and it just wasn't happening for us yeah and you

did all the things you did the supplements you did the tests you talked to countless doctors and nobody had any sort of explanation for why it was such a struggle for you guys to get pregnant

right yeah there's no answer and that makes it even harder yeah and you talked about multiple

babies and from what i've been told that's a possibility still we have so we have so many

sets of twins i can i i really hope that um and it's so hard because you hope this for every couple that we meet but i hope you do get the chance to talk to and meet dr shama and his team because they are just absolutely incredible and and so compassionate about what they do and making you guys are mojo gives you a baby contest couples pregnant but also anybody um that he sees so just
