00:01:22 - 00:02:04 | Speaker 4:

busted and i feel bad about it because it really was not personal i promise but i was walking through kroger and my phone rang and i was grabbing some items and i looked at my phone and i saw the person who was calling i figured yeah i don't know i want to talk so i muted it so that the vibration would stop on it and stop on my watch and then i just kept on shopping for a little bit and sure as spit i turned the corner and there he is standing right there and he goes hey i was trying to call you and i said oh really i didn't know that he goes yes you do you looked

00:02:04 - 00:02:10 | Speaker 5:

at your phone and put it right back in your pocket he watched you bump him he watched me bump him in

00:02:10 - 00:02:51 | Speaker 4:

the aisle at kroger when i was getting a couple of items and i'm like i you know it's nothing personal i'm sorry about that he goes oh don't worry about it don't don't you know don't get too crazy about the whole thing but it was so embarrassing and it's now gotten me so freaked out that anytime that my phone rings I pick up my phone and look at it and then I look around to see exactly who's around me even if I'm in a car and the reason why with the car the car one you got to be really really careful about well if you're in the car okay say you're in the car and you're driving your car and somebody's calling you and you don't pick up the phone but you kind I can see you looking at your phone, like grabbing your phone to see who it is, and you don't pick it up.

00:02:51 - 00:02:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:02:52 - 00:02:53 | Speaker 4:

They could be right around you.

00:02:54 - 00:02:56 | Speaker 1:

The odds of that happening would be so few.

00:02:56 - 00:02:59 | Speaker 4:

Do you ever hear the Vince Lucido story?

00:03:00 - 00:03:00 | Speaker 5:

Uh-uh.

00:03:00 - 00:03:05 | Speaker 4:

Vince Lucido. I wonder if Vince would be listening right now if I could call him up. You think he would? Yeah.

00:03:06 - 00:03:13 | Speaker 5:

Give it a try. I think there's a good excuse when you're actually in the car because you can just say, hey, I just don't want to talk. It's not safe.

00:03:13 - 00:03:29 | Speaker 4:

I think I told this story maybe, I don't know, two or three times on the show over the years. I think you should be able to bump anybody when they call. Wait, you can't bump them, but you can't let them know that you bumped them. They got to think that you're busy.

00:03:29 - 00:03:34 | Speaker 5:

You are just not in the mood to talk on the phone. Sorry, I'm trying to finish this grocery shop and I'll talk to you in the car.

00:03:34 - 00:03:35 | Speaker 4:

Vince is probably busy.

00:03:35 - 00:03:36 | Speaker 2:

Okay, wait, I don't recall this story.

00:03:36 - 00:03:39 | Speaker 4:

The Vince Lucido story is the...

00:03:39 - 00:03:46 | Speaker 5:

Hi, this is Vince. Please leave a message. He sounds so down. As soon as possible. Thank you very much. You're good.

00:03:46 - 00:03:47 | Speaker 4:

This is Vince.

00:03:48 - 00:03:50 | Speaker 5:

How do you know? Please record your method.

00:03:50 - 00:04:27 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Vince. All right, so Vince told me a story about he was driving down Hall Road, and Joe, his son, was driving with a bunch of buddies in a car. And he told me a story about how he's driving, and Joe was driving like an a-hole or something, as Vince would say. He's driving like an a-hole, so I wanted to call and say something to him. So he picked up the phone and called Joe Jr. not Joe Jr. because Joe's his uncle, he's named after him. He hits the phone and bumps him. Calls again, bumps him again. Finally, I think on the third time Vince said that he picked up the phone, looked at it, and started showing and mocking his friends

00:04:27 - 00:04:29 | Speaker 2:

about Ted calling. He's next to him

00:04:29 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 4:

on the road. And his dad is driving down Hall Road the entire time. Oh, that is good. So I said, what did you do? And he said he left a message for him and in the message it was, this is the last time I'm paying for your phone. and then hung up but oh that's good um have you ever been busted not taking someone's call 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is the telephone number you got to be careful when it comes to this or have you ever been busted by text messages

00:05:00 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 9:

I was going to say text is easy because a lot of times, even if you don't respond to a text message, people will see that you like, you can't say you weren't around your phone because people will see that you left a comment on Instagram or something around the same time.

00:05:14 - 00:05:30 | Speaker 4:

Do you know what's funny is that I don't even know if it shows up on mine. You guys have to tell me, but it is a show that I read because I think I took that off that it doesn't show. But now if I'm trying to avoid somebody, I will not even look at their voicemail or their text message to me.

00:05:30 - 00:05:31 | Speaker 2:

No, yours doesn't.

00:05:31 - 00:05:35 | Speaker 4:

It doesn't show reds or unreds? I hate that, by the way, when it shows.

00:05:35 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 2:

You've got to disable that.

00:05:36 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 4:

And then people get judgy that you didn't return it.

00:05:38 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 2:

After you read it.

00:05:39 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 4:

After you read it. And then the other one is, like you said, the DMs that people will leave. Where people will leave you a DM and you'll read it and you don't have time to respond back to it. But they'll get mad that you read it and did not respond to them. Right. Hey, Mojo in the morning. Hello.

00:05:54 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 8:

Hi.

00:05:55 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 4:

Hi. What's going on?

00:05:56 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 8:

So I used to use an app whenever my ex-husband wouldn't answer my phone calls. I knew that he had his phone in his hand probably, and I would use an app to change my number to call him.

00:06:09 - 00:06:12 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. And what would you change your number to?

00:06:13 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 8:

Sometimes like his mom's phone number or maybe his work number, like his office number.

00:06:19 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 4:

I love it. And he would pick up the phone for her, but he wouldn't pick up the phone for you.

00:06:24 - 00:06:26 | Speaker 8:

Yes, and it would make me so mad.

00:06:26 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. Oh, my God. That poor bastard got himself into trouble. What's up, Grace? How you doing?

00:06:34 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 5:

Hi. So my story is when I was in college, my booty call, he called me, and then I bumped the booty call. But he was watching me across the street, and he said, hey, hey, Grace. And I was like, oh, my God. Hey, what's going on? He was like, hey, I just called you, and I had no good reason. I'm sorry. I'm not in the mood to talk to you right now.

00:06:59 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you were honest, at least. That's good. You didn't try to fake it like I would and go, I didn't see your call.

00:07:05 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 5:

No, he watched me look at my phone and decline it.

00:07:09 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 2:

But I still think you should say, I'm not in the mood to talk right now. It's a lot different than, I'm not in the mood to talk to you right now.

00:07:16 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 4:

But people don't take it that way People don't take it even if you're honest As being nice They don't understand But they should because you ever look at your phone And you're just like I don't want to talk right now

00:07:29 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 7:

Truly we talk all day

00:07:32 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 9:

So sometimes I don't want to talk to anybody

00:07:33 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 4:

Jim who did you get caught bumping?

00:07:37 - 00:08:07 | Speaker 6:

I actually caught my Ex-girlfriend Well she was my girlfriend at the time But I saw her driving down the street And you know like if you see somebody you know or somebody like that and you kind of get a little excited so you're like oh look hey I see her so I'm right behind her and I call her and I see her pick up the phone look at it and then set it back down did you bust her? my little feelings got hurt so she definitely heard about it when we got home

00:08:07 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 4:

what you didn't hear was when she said as she's putting it down he's got a small

00:08:11 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 6:

dick that was probably that or like oh my god him again

00:08:15 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 4:

By the way, it feels like that whenever somebody does that to you. If somebody does bump you. Right away, you're instantly thinking that the person's making a judgment about you.

00:08:26 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, probably a curse word. Two or three curse words. Exactly.

00:08:30 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Jennifer?

00:08:32 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 9:

Snapchat is the absolute worst. Yes. They expose you. Yes. It shows red. It shows when you're in the snap. You can't get away with nothing on Snapchat.

00:08:40 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 4:

Well, listen, you can get away with stuff on Snapchat. People are using Snapchat to cheat all the time.

00:08:46 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, but when you're in the conversation, it shows everything.

00:08:50 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 1:

Snapchat is the worst because if you have your location on, it will tell people when the last time you were active. So if they sent you a message an hour ago and you were active two minutes ago, they know that you're ignoring them.

00:09:01 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:09:01 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 1:

Like I told you, the worst.

00:09:03 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 4:

Thank you for the call. Derek, you got caught bumping your boss?

00:09:07 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 7:

Yes, sir.

00:09:09 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 4:

Uh-oh. Where were you?

00:09:10 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 7:

I was actually at lunch and he had stuck up behind us And I actually had a picture Of a piece of crack As him because it was always some stupid stuff

00:09:20 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 10:

Wow

00:09:21 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 7:

So he's coming up behind us and he's like trying to call And I was like and one of my friends looks over That we work with he's like oh what does this idiot want And he heard the entire thing and saw the wall Oh my gosh Oh my gosh how did that go over Not very well

00:09:37 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 3:

I think the best is The best is that his picture that shows up when he calls you is a piece of crap.

00:09:45 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 7:

Every time, man, he has the most harebrained ideas ever. It's a dangerous job. We're like moving furniture, and he wants to, like, hoist stuff and do weird stuff with everything. Are you still working there? Oh, absolutely not. Oh, good.

00:10:00 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 3:

My favorite part of my job is assuming I'm going to get fired every time my boss wants to talk to me.

00:10:04 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 2:
