It's Mojo on the Morning Show. I'd like to thank everybody that was kind enough to, you know, wish me a happy birthday between Friday and Sunday. And I'd love to say thank you to my wife, Chelsea. It was such a great birthday. You know, capping off like what was like the greatest week ever and then being able to spend time with the family was incredible. We really had a good time. Went out for brunch yesterday, and then we went out for dinner at night. So we ate our faces off, which was fun. That's like the greatest birthday ever. And last night's dinner got a little weird. So thank God that my 18-year-old son actually still loves me because he wanted to be with Chels and I for both of the celebrations in the morning and in the evening. But I think he may be done with us after what happened last night. So we went out with some friends for my birthday. We went out with our neighbors, John and Britt and their daughter, Brooke. And Luke was sitting next to Brittany and Chelsea and overheard a conversation that will literally require him to have therapy like his other two brothers. And the conversation was Brittany saying to Chelsea, so what is it that Tom wanted? Tom is my real name. and Chelsea said well all he's ever wanted the last couple of years was a Hummer and I haven't given it to him and he always sits there and tells me about how he never gets it and he wants to know why it is because this is all he requests and tonight I'm going to do it for the very first time and Luke my 18 year old is listening to this whole thing and any person that has ever like known what your parents are like you never want to think about your parents honestly even hugging each other right well he continues to keep listening for a couple of more minutes and gets to a point where I could see him almost irritable at the table and he looks back over at me at one point and says what are you and mom doing after this because he's going to because he's going to a grad party and I said well what do you think we're going to do which is always my response even if we're not going to do it you know even if it's not we're gonna make them uncomfortable because to be perfectly honest with you i knew what i was doing and i knew what chelsea was doing we were going back home and we had a lot of stuff to do and i had i didn't even turn my prep into you guys yet you know that we normally do every single night just then the waitress at the restaurant carol comes out and says how many of you guys want hummers because chelsea had worked it out with them ahead of time that i did not want a cake for my birthday all i wanted was a hummer which is basically like a milkshake drink with alcohol in it all right and luke goes oh my god like he was about to throw up and then tells us the story about the fact that the entire time

00:04:29 - 00:04:57 | Speaker 3:

that he was sitting there listening to this conversation and then looking at those guys and my wife was literally smiling going i'm gonna give it to him tonight All he kept thinking the whole time was, oh, my God, my dad is getting something. So I just want Luke to know this, that that was just the drink. OK, everything was good. I have to go on record to tell you this, but we're going to go out for salads later today.

00:04:57 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 2:

We're going to see who's going to be tossing that thing.

00:05:00 - 00:05:01 | Speaker 7:

I mean, such a great time.

00:05:02 - 00:05:41 | Speaker 8:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I just want to throw this out there, and I don't know if we'll get any good responses on this. But I want you to call up and tell us about the time that you thought your parents were doing it and what it was that made you, like, so grossed out about the whole thing, and did you do anything? Because then the conversation swayed at the table when Chelsea told the story about how Chelsea actually had to barrel down the door for her parents when her parents were fooling around at one point because they weren't answering her at one point when she was younger because she thought her parents were doing it. Have you guys ever caught your parents doing it?

00:05:42 - 00:05:43 | Unknown:

No, thank God.

00:05:43 - 00:05:44 | Speaker 7:

Yes. Yes.

00:05:46 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 6:

Bulls jazz playoffs. I'll never forget. Really? Yes. I know. Didn't Jordan have his flu during that one? Yep. Yep. and my bedroom was in the basement and my parents' bedroom was like right above it and I was sitting up late. I wasn't supposed to be awake watching the game. And then the noises started coming. I thought it was name-calling at first. It was not name-calling. They were just saying each other's names. And it scarred me forever, forever. Because you could just hear it.

00:06:19 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 7:

Jordan wasn't the only one scoring.

00:06:21 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 8:

So you actually Did you turn the game up a little louder So that you didn't have to hear them at all Or what did you do I wasn't supposed to be awake

00:06:29 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 6:

So I had to make a choice Like the TV was muted I was supposed to be in bed And so I had to make a choice I either watch and see if they're going to win this game Or I go to bed And I had to just go to bed and hear about it the next day From my friends And now the starting lineup for Mike

00:06:47 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 8:

Mom and dad having sex in the bedroom Coming in at... Yeah. You want to know her? Just ended at coming in. Yeah, yeah. All right. Mojo in the morning. What's up, Jason? How you doing?

00:07:05 - 00:07:05 | Unknown:

Pretty good. How are you?

00:07:06 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 8:

Good. What's going on? Did you ever catch your parents doing it?

00:07:09 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 9:

So, no, it was when I was in elementary school, probably about fifth grade. I got called into the office by a counselor and asked if my parents were, you know, fighting and if there were issues in the household. and knew nothing of it until I got home. And my mom, you know, came home and she was like, Fran, what the heck's wrong with you, you know? And apparently the school called her and called her up there and the police and everything. She told her that, you know, they were fighting and possibly getting hit or whatever, but none of that was going on. You know, it was dissolved in nature.

00:07:41 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 8:

It was a little bit of fun in the bedroom what was going on, huh?

00:07:45 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, it's just so embarrassing. I knew, I don't know how my brother didn't know.

00:07:49 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 8:

Why is it, why is it that when you're now an adult and you think back on it and you're like, God, that was nice that my parents had a healthy sex life, you know? Because it's, no.

00:07:59 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 1:

You don't want that.

00:08:00 - 00:08:04 | Speaker 8:

What do you want? Do you want to come from a stork? Is that what you're hoping for at that time?

00:08:04 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 1:

No, it's just, I don't know. Like, yes. It's so funny because I feel like you, you want your parents to have a good relationship, obviously, but it's not until they're like grandparents that you're like, oh yeah, good for you, grandma. But there's that period of, like, 30 years. Do you know what I mean? You don't want to think about your parents.

00:08:23 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 8:

Karen, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:08:26 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 3:

Hi, good morning. I came home. Group of friends in the house was going to spend the night at my best friend. Wanted to tell my parents. No one was, I was like, Mom. No one was answering. I opened their door, and my parents were totally getting it on. And I'm like, I'm going to spend the night at Linda's. And my dad's like, good. Get the hell out of me.

00:08:42 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 8:

There is nothing more embarrassing, is it, than when you actually will either hear it or worse, walk in on it. That's the worst. What's up, Heather?

00:08:52 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 2:

Good morning.

00:08:53 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 8:

Hi. What's going on?

00:08:55 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 2:

When we were younger, we were on a camping trip, and we were in a pop-up, and my parents in the middle of the night decided to have a little fun while we were still in the camper.

00:09:05 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 8:

Oh, no.

00:09:06 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 7:

In the same camper. Yeah, I don't know how you do that because the camper would move. The whole thing would start rocking.

00:09:11 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 2:

That's what woke me up, And the best part of it is that we had no wind, but they decided to have chimes outside the window.

00:09:21 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 8:

Soundtrack. Oh, my God. That's funny. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Yeah, bye. All right, take care of yourself.

00:09:28 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 5:
