I came in this morning and everybody was like sick and I'm going, man, this may be the first time that I'm not worried about this because I was sick over our vacation. Like I actually got sick. I got sick on New Year's Day. It was such a crazy thing. Like I got a new New Year's Day. We had a party and we had all these people come over. I got so sick that I went over to Chelsea. I go, I am not feeling good. I had this like congestion thing, but also felt like achy and run down that I, I went over to Chelsea and I go, Hey, I'm just going to go to bed. And she goes, Oh, okay. All right. You know, she knew I wasn't like feeling great. So I went to bed like at seven o'clock or eight o'clock at night and everybody at the party was just partying on, partying on. It didn't take until 11 o'clock or 1130 where people were like, Hey, where's Tom? I said, I said to Chelsea, I go, I go, really? And she goes, she goes, yeah, she goes, I didn't say anything at first. Like, Hey, Tom went to bed, be quiet. Cause I know you can sleep through anything, but she's like, they didn't really even notice. And I thought about this and I thought this is actually kind of, kind of funny, but has anybody ever gone to a, uh, uh, or had a party and they ended up either getting sick or fell asleep at their party and everybody all still partied.

00:02:46 - 00:02:59 | Speaker 6:

They all like, they all did that. I remember once I was DJing my homie, uh, JG party. We was, like, in our early 20s. Everybody drinking. Everybody super young. It's a chaired-out. What is this music?

00:02:59 - 00:03:01 | Speaker 5:

This is New Year's Eve music.

00:03:02 - 00:03:03 | Speaker 6:

Oh, it was good.

00:03:03 - 00:03:05 | Speaker 5:

Go back to JG. What happened?

00:03:05 - 00:03:25 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, for sure. So I'm downstairs in the basement doing a party. It's like a pajama party. So I'm in a robe. Everybody chilling, vibing. Long story short, I remember playing a Drake song, and then I must have passed out. Because I woke up, and it was like all of the song playing. Everybody was vibing. I was like, okay, let's get back to it.

00:03:25 - 00:03:28 | Speaker 4:

That was alcohol induced. Oh, for sure. I was gone.

00:03:29 - 00:04:27 | Speaker 5:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Have you ever thrown a party and then had to leave your own party and people still partied? Or you ended up passing out at your party or fell asleep? This used to happen to me all the time. Shannon, prior, pre-Shannon, what is it? It would be BS, before Shannon. bs of the mojo in the morning history back in the days when uh sarah and uh those guys were here spike and eric and chad and those guys i would have a lot of times where we would do like hey let's all get together come out friday night we'd do a barbecue at my house yeah this is no joke you got to ask eric this next time eric's on doing like a donald trump impersonation i would fall asleep at my things all the time and they would let themselves out of the garage They knew my garage code, everything. They would let it down. And I would go to bed and wake up the next morning and not know exactly how, like everybody would put themselves.

00:04:27 - 00:04:29 | Speaker 4:

What time did everybody leave?

00:04:29 - 00:04:32 | Speaker 5:

Right. Exactly. Because I would just pass out from not like sleeping enough.

00:04:32 - 00:04:34 | Speaker 4:

I'm actually surprised they didn't crawl into bed with you.

00:04:35 - 00:04:36 | Speaker 3:

Especially Eric.

00:04:36 - 00:04:40 | Speaker 5:

Believe me, I guarantee you there's pictures or something. That's so funny.

00:04:40 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 4:

When my friends plan, like if we plan to do something or all get together for just like a couple of drinks or whatever, and we want to hang out at home, they, if they want it to be an early night they'll be like shan's hosting because they know that by nine o'clock i'm done and they all have to go because i've fallen asleep so many times yeah at my own house

00:04:58 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 5:

so you so you're exactly this

00:05:00 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 1:

But I don't even go up. Like, I will just, I'm, there hits a certain point where I'm, like, sitting on the couch or, like, cozied up in a chair, and if you put a blanket on me, I'm out.

00:05:10 - 00:05:17 | Speaker 6:

I got to let you know I'm leaving. In front of everybody. I got to wake you up and be like, hey, I'm out of here. I can't just leave you sleep and just walk out. Let yourself out.

00:05:18 - 00:05:19 | Speaker 5:

See you next time. Bye.

00:05:19 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 4:

I don't like that. I actually like, no, I like it. I like that everybody felt comfortable enough. The funny thing is, I don't think they made it to midnight because they kind of felt bad for chelsea because i think that she was like tired and wanted to go wanted to go to bed this this this may be the first new year's and i gave chelsea crap for this this might be the first new year's that chelsea has lasted midnight and i did not last midnight like i did not last at all

00:05:42 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 5:

i haven't made it to midnight on years even years really yeah yeah that's we come well i came back to work so quickly i didn't want to get off schedule y'all don't like counting down like That's not exciting. No. I don't like New Year's in general, but I did stay up. You don't like New Year's? I've never had a fun New Year's. I've never. The expectations are too high. It's always a disappointing evening. I've worked so many of them. It's not funny as an adult. It sucks. It sucks.

00:06:10 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 6:

I love Countdown. I'm staying up. When we was younger, they used to have a Ricky Lake and a Jenny Jones Countdown to show they best of. That's like Megan. I used to be so excited to watch that.

00:06:21 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 4:

For real. What's up, Erica? Hi.

00:06:23 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 2:

hey so we host an ugly sweater party every year for christmas and one year my husband and i dressed up as the grinch and a who like athletics all of it and he had started drinking at like three o'clock while we were getting our makeup done and he was passed out drunk by 10 o'clock

00:06:48 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 4:

and i just hosted the rest of the party without him did you leave him there passed out like was he out in the open like did you you know put the fun dip by him or something like that like the

00:06:58 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 2:

seven layer or anything i put him in bed did you he ripped the he ripped the mask off of his face so i have a picture of my brother holding it up like he hunted the grinch in the hallway

00:07:10 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 4:

that was the other thing too there was there's been many pictures of me at my own house where there'd be, like, pictures of them doing weird things to me, and I would sleep all the way through it. It's kind of like the first person that falls asleep at a kid's sleepover is usually the person that gets, like, the trick played on them. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning.

00:07:29 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 3:
