Mojo in the morning. I was panicking yesterday. Have you ever had this happen to you? You ever have yourself, you take off like your wedding ring? uh and i'll explain my situation because there's no shenanigans in this one i took off my wedding wedding ring and then couldn't find it so yesterday i went to the bathroom and it takes me a little time to go to the bathroom here at this radio studios when i got a go-go to the bathroom you know poop you didn't have to say that i wanted people to you know maybe put it in their mind but yes while i was uh while i was pooping yeah so i took my ring off and i put it on the control board and then came back into work you know uh do my thing editing some stuff and then i started panicking because i'm getting ready to leave and i thank god i noticed it because if i got home i would have freaked out totally i forgot to put my ring back on so i didn't remember where the hell i put my ring and i left it on the control board in the control board so if you look my ring is black i put it on here it looks it blends in so you don't even know it's

00:02:47 - 00:02:48 | Speaker 4:

Can I ask you a question?

00:02:49 - 00:02:49 | Speaker 7:

Yes.

00:02:50 - 00:02:51 | Speaker 4:

Why did you take off your wedding ring to go poop?

00:02:52 - 00:02:59 | Speaker 7:

Because, Shannon, I don't know if you know this, but I have issues wiping. And I want to make sure I don't.

00:03:00 - 00:03:00 | Speaker 4:

What?

00:03:00 - 00:03:03 | Speaker 7:

That's crazy. No. You get stuck in there?

00:03:03 - 00:03:05 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, why did you take off your ring to go to the bathroom?

00:03:05 - 00:03:09 | Speaker 7:

I take off my ring so that when I wash my hands and stuff like that, I don't have to take the ring off.

00:03:09 - 00:03:11 | Speaker 4:

I didn't wash my hands with my rings on.

00:03:11 - 00:03:56 | Speaker 7:

I understand, but I know I was going to do the whole blowout thing, so I was doing it. So I, listen, there's no foul play in this one here. There's just foul smells, but I, I, I don't know if you've ever had this happen to you. Have you ever lost your ring? And I want to ask that question. Why do you take your ring off? I'll ask that question to you. And where did you lose it? Because I panicked yesterday because my, my panic is not honestly anything other than having to answer to where my ring was. Cause Chelsea, I think if I came home and said, yeah, I took it off to go poop. She'd do exactly what Shannon's doing. Why do you take your ring off? Do you know how tile, that thing that you can put inside your wallet, if you lose your wallet, it's like this company. Do they make anything like that for wedding rings, where you can air tag it, if you happen

00:03:56 - 00:04:03 | Speaker 4:

to lose it? There should be an itty bitty something, like a magnet that you can attach to the inside of your band.

00:04:03 - 00:04:09 | Speaker 7:

You need it almost for everything, don't you? Sure. I always feel like I need it for my Apple TV remote. Yes.

00:04:09 - 00:04:39 | Speaker 4:

Have you ever lost your ring, Shannon? I've never lost my ring, but you know what happened to me the other day? I almost had a dang heart attack. So Fran Lucido gave me this little jewelry cleaning kit. And so I soak my engagement ring, my diamond in water or in this whatever solution. And then she gave me this little, it looks like a half of a toothbrush. And I scrub my ring. So I took it out of the solution. I'm holding it in my hand and I'm scrubbing it over the sink like an idiot.

00:04:40 - 00:04:40 | Speaker 7:

It's like a movie.

00:04:41 - 00:04:57 | Speaker 4:

And I don't know what the heck happened. I think just because it was slippery, I dropped it and it was like slow motion where I watched my ring and these three slide down the sink and stop just at the drain.

00:04:57 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 7:

I have that happen to me with my pills.

00:05:00 - 00:05:12 | Speaker 3:

take a pill or something like that like i it will go right to the drain and it will go around and i'm like going oh no try to grab the thing carolyn are you there yes i'm here where'd you lose your

00:05:12 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 4:

ring water our seats on the table i put them on the table i you know put them in my palm and went to throw them in the garbage well three hours later i was looking like you said everywhere that I thought I had put it. Too afraid to call my husband and tell him that I couldn't find my ring. Opened up a garbage bag that I had taken out in there. I had put a new garbage bag and I saw it on the bottom of the bag.

00:05:39 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh, thank God. Where are you right now? Why does it sound like this?

00:05:44 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 4:

I'm driving to work.

00:05:45 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 3:

Do you have your windows open?

00:05:46 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 4:

In a submarine? No, I'm driving a Rivian, so I don't know if it's that.

00:05:52 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really? That's interesting. That's that electric car. I've always wondered, Are those nice cars? It's beautiful. It looks beautiful. Somebody told me that their leases are really inexpensive right now on those things.

00:06:04 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it really, I haven't touched them before, but this tops it off.

00:06:09 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really? Yeah, those things look kind of nice.

00:06:11 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 2:

Shout out my girl Maureen doing legal over there.

00:06:13 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 3:

At?

00:06:14 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 2:

At Rivian.

00:06:14 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 3:

Really? You know somebody that does legal work for Rivian?

00:06:17 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 2:

My girl Maureen.

00:06:18 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 3:

I didn't know that Rivian is local.

00:06:20 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 2:

I don't know.

00:06:21 - 00:06:26 | Speaker 3:

You just met a girl named Rivian, or Rivian Maureen. I knew her before she started working there.

00:06:28 - 00:06:30 | Speaker 2:

Tessa. That meant to just be like a one-line thing.

00:06:31 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 3:

I didn't know they had like local offices. What's up, Tessa? Hi.

00:06:36 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 1:

Hi. So my husband, we got married at the courthouse.

00:06:42 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:06:42 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 1:

So we were doing our marriage, and he lost my band when we exchanged rings. So we were standing up there, and he didn't have my wedding band. he had it with him in his pocket and then he lost my wedding band and like I exchanged his ring and then he exchanged mine and he couldn't find it

00:07:04 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 3:

that's the worst place to lose it during the ceremony

00:07:08 - 00:07:18 | Speaker 1:

yeah later on we found out that he when he took everything out of his pockets for security he it fell out of his pocket when he

00:07:18 - 00:07:19 | Speaker 2:

wow

00:07:19 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 1:

like his phone and keys out of his pocket it and she already had it the whole time but they didn't bother to bring it up to us so do you take

00:07:26 - 00:07:37 | Speaker 3:

that as a sign is that a sign are you guys still together yeah we're still together thank god oh thank goodness that would that would make me feel uh sad if all of a sudden you're like no we're not

00:07:37 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 2:

together but like uh-oh i remember when my friend got married i was the best man he gave me the rings i immediately went to the room and put him in there there's no way i'm gonna be the cause for y'all not getting married because I lost the ring.

00:07:48 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 3:

What's up, George?

00:07:51 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, how you doing, guys?

00:07:52 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 3:

Good, buddy.

00:07:53 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 6:

We always do a Halloween camping trip at the end of October, and the one particular year we had snow, me and the kids were making snowballs and throwing them in the lake. I had taken off my gloves to pack them harder, to throw them farther, and my ring went with it. Oh, no.

00:08:12 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 3:

That's a story.

00:08:13 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 1:

Did your heart just go right into your stomach?

00:08:16 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, because that was the second one that I've lost.

00:08:18 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh.

00:08:20 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 3:

There's more to this story. Hey, you're the problem. We won't get into this.

00:08:24 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 1:

You need those rubber rings where you just get six at a time.

00:08:27 - 00:08:36 | Speaker 6:

Well, this one that I've had, I've had for a long time now. And I'm constantly keeping my hand, you know, like a fist to feel it that it's there.

00:08:36 - 00:08:37 | Speaker 3:

To make sure, yeah.

00:08:38 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 6:

Just to have you. But I know it went in the lake, so somebody will find it fishing or something.

00:08:44 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 3:

Be careful with your rings. What's up, Tim?

00:08:48 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 5:

Hey, how you doing? Good, man. So I want to tell a story. It's a bad story, but it's a good ending because, first off, I'm a recovering alcoholic. I got three and a half years sober. Love it, Tim.

00:09:00 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 2:

Nice to meet you, man.

00:09:01 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 5:

Keep going. Thank you. Appreciate it. So during that time of my alcoholism, it was a block party, and we got home, and my wife always takes her ring off every single night. Every single night, she takes it off, puts it on the ring stand. so she gave it to me and mind you were you know get done drinking picture after club you like do a little extra correct activity so that didn't work out so i was a little angry and she gave me her ring to put on the stand and i put it on my finger and i walked out of the room oh my so when i walked out of the room all i remember the next morning when she says hey where's my ring at i said it's right over and i i was blank and i'm thinking where is your ring And all I can remember is just setting it in the corner of some type of box cabinet somewhere in the home. So we've searched high and low. We've looked everywhere in the garage, in the cars, in the house, over and over. I still cannot find this ring anywhere.

00:09:58 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

And the drunk...

00:10:00 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 8:

Drunk Tim lost it.

00:10:02 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, she wants me to see a hypnotist.

00:10:05 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 8:

Oh, you still haven't found it? Oh, that's the end of the story. Oh, jeez. I thought you said the story turns nice. That's the end of the story. What's the good part of the story that you gave up drinking? The good part is I'm sober now. Okay, good. All right, Tim.

00:10:19 - 00:10:20 | Speaker 5:

Thank you. You've got to get her a new ring.

00:10:20 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 8:

Man, I'm like, Tim, that is a depressing story. Jordan lost it on the job, and he works at FedEx. excuse me let me get that thing out of my throat jordan hi hey what's going on you work at fedex

00:10:35 - 00:11:07 | Speaker 4:

and you lost it on the job yeah i had uh lost some weight since uh the wedding and it was when it was real slushy and snowy and i went to close the the back door and dump snow all over my hand so as i was brushing it off i went to the bathroom realized it was gone but by the time i got back over there It was at a dock, and a whole semi-truck had backed in, so I'm crawling underneath a semi-truck trying to find it on the phone with my wife. Oh, no. And she's like, well, I guess you're not married anymore.

00:11:07 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my God. That would be brutal if it got delivered to somebody, you know? All of a sudden, somebody gets it. Jay lost it when it went down the toilet. Is that right, Jay?

00:11:18 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Well, literally, I was sitting next to my fiance, and I was like, where is my ring? I lost it. I literally couldn't find it, but every time I would, like, wipe, my ring would hit the toilet, so we believe that it's cashless down the toilet. Oh, no.

00:11:33 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 5:

And I have to say, it's different for girls and guys, because girls' rings are normally way more expensive than just the guys' band.

00:11:40 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 8:

You don't wipe with that ring finger, do you? You don't, you don't, you put that ring in?

00:11:44 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 5:

I wipe with my right hand. Okay. I do, I do wipe with my right hand. Oh, no.

00:11:49 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 8:

She might be a lefty, that ring.

00:11:50 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 5:

She bought me a new one right after, though, so he's amazing. How are you wiping that you think that I would get something on that?

00:11:58 - 00:12:04 | Speaker 8:

Because if you're too close to the toilet, that diamond's going to pop off it or something and go right down into the toilet.

00:12:04 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 5:

I feel like I need a demonstration of how you wipe. I don't.

00:12:10 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 8:

I'll show you. You talk about having that attachment thing that's kind of like a bidet. When you have a bidet, do you have to wipe? No. Or does it just spray it all up? You just pad dry it. So it'll spray it out. It sprays out, yeah. But when I'm here at the station, we don't have that, so.

00:12:25 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 7:
