social casino void where prohibited visit spin quest.com for more details it's mojo in the morning show so i had a dentist appointment yesterday and uh but for some reason getting my teeth clean is like getting a haircut i feel so good when i walk out of there i just like get

00:01:27 - 00:01:31 | Speaker 3:

so excited over that it hurts like my teeth always hurt because they like dig in there you know but

00:01:31 - 00:01:35 | Speaker 6:

i love it you swear you're gonna start flossing every day after that you know what's funny fresh

00:01:35 - 00:03:39 | Speaker 4:

start maureen the lady who did my uh my uh thing said you look like you floss and i was like i've never heard that before from i i have been i've been i've been flossing you know i got those little toothpicky type things but i sit there and i try to do it problem is my teeth are a receptacle for salad i i eat a salad and you know what kind of salad you're like oh my god romaine or oh my god kale you have food traps that's what they call oh my god iceberg that's like you can tell the actual that's how that's how big it exactly that's how big it is you can actually see it right there in the in the salad so i'm driving to my dentist is dr depilla who's uh over in birmingham and i'm driving to his office and i'm leaving the station and i was really running early which was perfect for this because I'm on 696 and all of a sudden, I don't know what became of me. I started daydreaming. And when I tell you what I was daydreaming about, you guys are going to laugh, but I started daydreaming about Costco pumpkin pie because Chelsea had said to me, all right, we got to, you know, get all the stuff, you know, you're going to call JE and get some, you know, pumpkin pies. And I said, I said, yeah, I'll get some pumpkin pies. So the whole drive down there, I'm driving, I'm going, oh pumpkin pies do we do cool whip or ready whip like i'm doing the whole thing so i was supposed to get off on southfield road which is you know right off of 696 just a few miles not that far from uh from you know where i enter 696 anybody that lives in the detroit area will know this i look up in the sign says van dyke oh you went way past i i don't know mileage very well but somebody telling me i think it might be like 10 to 12 miles past it is my exit that's how long i was daydreaming about pumpkin pie and i it's funny because i had like the christmas station on wnic and i'm just sitting there you know doing all the things i just got to that point has that ever happened to any of you guys all the time all the time how far past where you were supposed to go

00:03:39 - 00:04:19 | Speaker 6:

did you guys end up well it's funny because i've moved twice in the last two years three years because of divorce and you know got an apartment then a house and now i still when you're just in that mode after work we're all tired you start to still drive to the house you haven't lived in in years you know driven to the to your old house yeah and i haven't gotten that far but i've definitely missed an exit or gone 10 20 minutes out of my way and especially it happens when i'm coming home from an event in the city because i always took the same highway for 20 years to get back to any suburb I lived in for the last 24 years was always right up the lodge but now I'm the closest I've ever been right up the lodge but I keep driving to one of the other houses or

00:04:19 - 00:04:52 | Speaker 3:

apartments I just did this the other day too and I was already in a hurry I had both of the kids in the car and I was driving from my house to Wes's house and he lives way on the east side so I have to get on to 75 and then get on to M59 to get off at Hull Road to go to his house well I never I was daydreaming and never got on to m59 so i just kept going on 75 and lucy's like mom we're going past lego land and i'm like lego land you're in san diego and no no no like at the at great lakes

00:04:52 - 00:04:57 | Speaker 4:

crossing oh she calls that lego land no there's a legoland yeah it's lego land and so i was like

00:04:57 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 3:

wait a second and then for a moment i'm like where am i

00:05:00 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 6:

where am I supposed to be going? Like, I just really brain blanked. And then I had to go all the way back to get on to M59 to go over. I was so mad. And then it just puts me in such a bad mood. Were you in a bad mood then? Because you had to turn around?

00:05:14 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 3:

Well, I was thinking of myself like, because I thought I was going to get there that early enough that I was, and I'm the type of person that would do this. I'm going to get my teeth cleaned, but then right beforehand, I go and I eat something nasty or something beforehand. So there's a, right next to Dr. DePilla's office, There's a place that makes acai bowls. And so I was going to.

00:05:32 - 00:05:35 | Speaker 6:

What's the worst thing you could eat by the way next to Oreos?

00:05:35 - 00:05:37 | Speaker 4:

He's going to get his money's worth with that teeth cleaning.

00:05:37 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 6:

Blueberries in your teeth.

00:05:38 - 00:05:41 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to be like, Maureen's going to have to really clean off my teeth.

00:05:41 - 00:05:44 | Speaker 4:

Why not eat a whole sleeve of Oreos while you're at it?

00:05:44 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 3:

I got so hungry thinking of that pumpkin pie. And I can't even have that pumpkin pie because it's got the gluten in it. So that crust. It's one of those things where sometimes on Thanksgiving, I'll get that pumpkin pie.

00:05:54 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 4:

Did you just eat the filling without the crust?

00:05:55 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 3:

No, because you can get crust contaminated. But sometimes I'll just go, go for it and say, Chelsea, how much Charmin do we have? Sit on that toilet for a while.

00:06:06 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 1:

You need like a, like a dude wipes endorsement. Right? You can eat some gluten.

00:06:11 - 00:06:30 | Speaker 3:

I will say this, that with the whole driving past your exit thing, I did that one time going to pick Chelsea and the kids up. They were visiting her mom and dad in Arizona at the airport. and you know the Eureka Road exit off of 275? Megan, you drive past it when you're driving back to Toledo from here.

00:06:30 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 2:

Every day.

00:06:31 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 3:

If you miss that exit, there's no exit for like a while. Yeah, you're screwed. Like you're like practically to, I don't know, you're practically to Monroe. Yeah, by the time you can. So they're like texting me going, are you in the cell phone lot? And I'm like, yeah. I'm like lying.

00:06:48 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 1:

There was one time I really needed gas and I should have stopped near the airport because there's so many gas stations over there, and I missed it. And I was like, I hope I'm going to get to Monroe. I just hope I get all the way there.

00:06:59 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning. Hello, Tyler.

00:07:02 - 00:07:43 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so this morning, this happened to me. So it's my second day on the job at my internship, right? And I go to UT. I go to University of Toledo. Yeah. So I'm driving in. Every morning I go to Toledo, you know. So for every three days, I have this internship. So I wake up this morning bright and early, like I'm ready to go, right? Second day on the job. I drive to Toledo, and like halfway through, I'm like, where am I going? And I was like, oh, my gosh, it's my second day on the job.

00:07:43 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man. So how late were you?

00:07:47 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 5:

Well, I'm driving there now. Oh, Jesus.

00:07:49 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 3:

It's happening right now as you're speaking. What were you thinking about? Were you thinking about anything interesting?

00:07:56 - 00:08:09 | Speaker 5:

Honestly, I was just, you know, sleepy, you know. Yeah. Driving to the job. You know, I wasn't really paying attention much. But I turn around. What makes the matter worse, I turn around, and I get stopped by a train.

00:08:09 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. It's not your day, buddy. Just call it a day.

00:08:13 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 6:

Something's in retrograde. Yeah. Fired on the second day.

00:08:17 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Or the universe is telling you this is not the job for you.

00:08:20 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 3:

Our show does it sometimes, and I know this is me patting ourselves on the back, but we get involved in conversations, and sometimes I'll listen back to the podcast of our show, and I've already heard it. As a matter of fact, I talked in it, and I'll just start listening, and I get kind of taken back by what we're talking about. We're pretty good. Hello, Mojo in the Morning. Hi.

00:08:43 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 2:

Hello.

00:08:44 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 3:

Hi. What's going on?

00:08:45 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 2:

yeah so i was uh discussing how i was um getting off of work and i was having a bad day and i worked at wayne state and i was in a rant with my friend and i was going on and on and on about this horrible day i had and i looked up and i had drove all the way from wayne state to the ohio toledo border um and that's not where i live at i don't live in ohio i live in taylor

00:09:08 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 6:

You really kept going

00:09:11 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 2:

An entire different state And so then I was so angry Because I had to turn around And it took 45 minutes to drive back home From that place

00:09:21 - 00:09:32 | Speaker 3:

The worst is if there's road construction Then you're screwed because you're driving And you're passing all the people on the other side of the road Going through the road construction Now you've got to go sit through it again That sucks, thank you

00:09:32 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 2:

I was so mad I haven't had a conversation on the phone since It was awful

00:09:37 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 3:

Have a great day I appreciate you listening

00:09:40 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 2:

Great, thank you, bye

00:09:42 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 6:

00:09:47 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I know, but it's not It's not Costco I don't know They do something inside of that thing They put something inside that pie That's just so good Honestly, it's probably the crust
