Had kind of a crazy day yesterday. I was pulling into a parking lot of Target. And I knew I should have just done the drive up. But I wanted to get out of the car and go inside and see what's going on. So I had to park the car, get out of the car, go inside the store. and it ended up costing me because I pulled into a parking spot, opened up my door and the wind kind of took it and the door ended up smashing into the car that was sitting next to me and there was somebody sitting inside of the car. Oh, that's the worst. And it sucks because not only, you know, do you feel bad about the fact that you hit their car, but then you go, crap, what kind of damage did I do to it? Now do I got to, you know, have issues where I got to get insurance involved. And I looked at my car first and saw that there was really nothing to my Tahoe. My Chevy Tahoe looked like it had been completely fine. This guy's, on the other hand, Ford Vagina, as I like to call it.

00:03:32 - 00:03:33 | Speaker 5:

Oh, is it Flex?

00:03:34 - 00:03:37 | Speaker 4:

Have you ever seen a Ford Flex before? Oh, yeah.

00:03:37 - 00:03:40 | Speaker 5:

I think that's a wonderfully made American car.

00:03:40 - 00:03:57 | Speaker 4:

The Ford Flex is known as the Ford Vagina by those who work in the Ford Motor Company. I don't think that's true. I've never... You know why it's called the Ford Vagina? Why? Because the Ford Vagina is one of those cars that is ugly on the outside.

00:03:58 - 00:03:58 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:03:58 - 00:04:11 | Speaker 4:

But that's it. That's all I'll say because I'm not repeating what I... But, okay. So, I hit the guy's Ford Flex and I end up gashing the crap out of the side.

00:04:11 - 00:04:12 | Speaker 5:

Oh, really?

00:04:12 - 00:05:19 | Speaker 4:

so bad guy gets out of the car and this is where it gets interesting guy gets out of the car he looks at it I go listen I'm really sorry you know I will pay for that and he goes $20 and I'm thinking to myself $20 that's all the things that this is going to cost $20 so I go $20 that's it and he goes yeah it's $20 he goes I'll take $20 and I look at him and I go okay and then I think to myself twenty dollars if this hit my car this goes into my car you know and i and gash somebody gashed my car i'm not doing twenty dollars because i know even the slightest little ding on a car is is you know thousand dollars or something you know what i mean these collision shops they they got a racket going on so i stopped for a second i think to myself We'll be right back. I think something's going on here. So I said, okay, I'll tell you what. I'll give you $20, but let's exchange information. And just then he goes, you know what? Don't even worry about it. I'm good. And he gets into his car, goes to walk away. I go, are you sure I got the $20 right here? No. And he gets in his car and pulls out and drives away.

00:05:20 - 00:05:21 | Speaker 5:

I don't get it.

00:05:21 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 4:

What do you, well, what do you think? That's what I'm thinking. I don't know.

00:05:25 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 5:

He had no insurance for sure.

00:05:27 - 00:05:34 | Speaker 4:

That's what I'm wondering. Like, I'm wondering, it's either no insurance or Mike said it's stolen. It could have been a stolen car or something. Who knows?

00:05:34 - 00:05:37 | Speaker 1:

Or he was somewhere where he wasn't supposed to be and his wife was at home.

00:05:38 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 4:

It could be. That could also be, too. But although, you know, what is it giving me the information, dude? She's not going to know about it unless I call her up and tell her about it.

00:05:46 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but in the incident report, won't it say the target, you know, on Telegraph? Yeah.

00:05:52 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 5:

If his wife did the incident report, she is a whole different kind of lady.

00:05:56 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 4:

Well, he must, who knows? Maybe he's a little shady.

00:05:59 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 3:

That's why I think stolen, because he didn't really care about the car, it didn't sound like. $20, right? Yeah. But he wanted money bad. So if he's that hard up for $20, maybe he stole the car.

00:06:09 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 5:

Have you ever gotten an accident with someone who didn't have insurance before? The fear on their face and the, please, no, no, no, no, no. This sounds like one of those situations.

00:06:19 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:06:20 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 2:

That's not something I had to fear until my recent move.

00:06:23 - 00:06:26 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Well, if your insurance was an issue getting it here in Michigan, right?

00:06:26 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 2:

Well, not even that. i didn't realize in michigan one in four people are not insured and that's an insane rate for the

00:06:35 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 4:

united states that's because we have that stupid insurance your insurance here is the weirdest

00:06:40 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 2:

thing it's your insurance too you're now a michigan resident i know i i know but like it was probably

00:06:45 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 4:

the weirdest transition into the state yeah well uh yeah i mean i i i just want to know what the hell this guy's deal was i've been wanting to bring this up all morning because i wanted to know if there's any listeners that have a theory on this it could love to know what your theory is

00:07:00 - 00:07:05 | Speaker 5:

it could also be his premium would increase yeah and we already talked about how high

00:07:05 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 4:

expensive it is because i mean i know it's a no-fault stake but i'd probably i would have paid him the money but i would if here's my big reason i wanted to exchange the info

00:07:13 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 8:

some people may huh that damn was already there who's this who is this who's this random lady talking what's your name they killed me and this is k what's up okay that down was already there oh so i think it was already there so he's gonna let she give you twenty dollars like oh i just got a free twenty dollars and then your instinct was like let's exchange information you're like no i'm good he's already played that trick before that then was already there you know why i wanted

00:07:42 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 4:

to do the information k because i didn't want this guy coming back after me saying it was a hit and

00:07:48 - 00:08:01 | Speaker 8:

run. You know what I mean? I got no proof with just $20. That was already there because if you didn't do that bad, no, we want more than that. Right. Quick $20. And then you asked for his

00:08:01 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 4:

name. He's like, nah, nah, nah, that's your, you're right. There was, there could be that. Maybe that didn't, it didn't do anything to my car, but it did hit it hard. Holy crap. What's

00:08:10 - 00:08:37 | Speaker 6:

going on? What's up, Dan? Hey, I'm, I'm telling you right now, the guy didn't have a driver's license and so he he got nervous because he didn't want the police to show up and he's driving the car illegally um i'm convinced interesting yeah yeah no seriously uh yeah yeah no that i'm not

00:08:37 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 4:

gonna say anything more that no anyways all right that's interesting theory as dan's got an interesting theory on this one linda what's your theory behind why it was that this guy took off

00:08:48 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 7:

the moment i said let's exchange information well i just want to say hi i love you guys oh hi i just there's a there's a big possibility he might have warrants out for his arrest or something oh good point i could write and a lot of people do now i watch those cop shows A lot of people do nowadays. Yes. So that's just a possibility.

00:09:13 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 4:

You know what? You know what is so interesting about that is he should have a warrant out for his arrest for driving a Ford Flex.

00:09:22 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 1:

That's what I'm saying. Maybe it was not his car.

00:09:25 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 4:

If you have a warrant out for your arrest, you're not driving a Ford Flex. Although, you know, you might because nobody ever thinks that a person driving a Ford Flex has warrants out for their arrest. Somebody actually.

00:09:35 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 3:

He's riding around in a Ford Flex right now like, this is my dream car. And you're killing them right now.

00:09:40 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 4:

Somebody said here, you should call it the Ford ball sack instead of the Ford vagina. Because ball sacks are worse than vaginas. It is true, by the way. Although the second part of the reason why I call it the vagina is the reason why it makes it so much fun. What's up, Harold? Hi.

00:10:00 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 3:

Good. Hey, how you doing? What's going on? I just was thinking, you know, I mean, I don't know. I'm a different type of person anyway, but maybe, you know, they didn't want to deal with the hassle of, like he said, the premium going up or figured if he wasn't sitting there and you did it, you know, he would have never known. So you got out and at least offered him something, but then wanted to, nah, man, I'm not trying to go down that insurance route. Or maybe he was just embarrassed you caught him driving a flex.

00:10:26 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 4:

That might be too. Yeah. That actually could be the exact reason altogether. Steve Gabbara's blowing up my freaking phone right now.

00:10:36 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 1:

Like, he and I are literally going to, like, jets and sharks you, and we're going to be waiting for you in the parking lot just snapping. Ready to slash your Chevy tires.

00:10:45 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 4:

For those that don't know, Megan's future ex-husband, Steve Gabbara, from Zot Ford, sells Fords, and he's a very good friend.

00:10:52 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. Good morning. Steve, I tried.

00:10:55 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 4:

Steve, tell me. Every person that comes into Zott, Ford, and Holley and buys one of those Ford Flexes, they're blind, right?

00:11:03 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 5:

Mojo, you're being so mean to the Ford Flex. I mean, listen, it is a very interesting car. Can I break down how it ended up the way it is? It's very simple. Yeah. People say the outside, it looks like a hearse. And Ford, the entire outside of that vehicle was designed by male engineers. But the inside is one of the most beautiful Fords they've made in years. And as it turns out, it was all female, all women that designed the inside. They were all female engineers. So it's one of those odd cars that happened by accident. But you're being so mean to it. You know, it has feelings, too. Wait, they don't make it anymore still, do they? Is that still? They do not make it anymore. But it's got like this cult following. Every time we get one on a trade-in and we put it for sale, we get like 20 phone calls the first day. Really?

00:11:49 - 00:12:01 | Speaker 4:

Would you say that that car is similar to, what was the car that Chrysler had? Was it not the Pacifica? The PT Cruiser? The PT Cruiser.

00:12:01 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 5:

The PT Cruiser. Yes. That was the ugliest car. No, no. That is apples and oranges.

00:12:08 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 4:

No, that's like apples and prunes.

00:12:11 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 5:

Okay, maybe even better. Speaking of prunes, I noticed you didn't want to call it the vagina anymore. Yes. All right.

00:12:19 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 4:

Stevie, I love you, buddy.

00:12:21 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 5:

I love you, Jules. Thank you.

00:12:25 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 4:

What's going on, Megan? Hi.

00:12:28 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 6:

Hi. So your comment about the Ford Flex being a vagina is kind of funny because the vagina is one of the strongest muscles on the planet. It should be called the ball sack because the ball sack takes one tap and that thing's broken.

00:12:41 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 1:

Say it again, Megan. Say it again. Woman power.

00:12:46 - 00:12:58 | Speaker 4:

I love it. We love you. Take care of yourself. Hold on, a cop on the phone with us right now. Emily is a cop. What's going on, Emily? Hello. How are you? Good. How are you? We're good. What's up? You have a theory behind this thing.

00:12:59 - 00:13:00 | Speaker 7:

I do have a theory.

00:13:00 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:13:01 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 7:

So I think the guy was just trying to be a nice guy, and maybe he just wanted 20 bucks because he was just being nice, and officers won't come to private property.

00:13:11 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I've noticed that. It used to be, like, back in the day, you'd get a police report. You can't get police reports anymore like this, right?

00:13:17 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 7:

Nope, because it's on private property.

00:13:19 - 00:13:32 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Wait, so you're just thinking, it's funny, everybody's got a theory. The guy's got a warrant out for his arrest, he's got a suspended driver's license, he's wanted by the law, he's driving a Ford Flex. You just say, he was just being a nice guy and just said, enough, I don't need this.

00:13:33 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, he probably knew who you were and thought you were a cool guy.

00:13:37 - 00:13:45 | Speaker 4:

Ah, that's nice. Well, if that's him, hello. Sorry about what I said about your car. Take care of yourself.

00:13:46 - 00:13:56 | Speaker 7:

Thank you, you too. I'm a first-time caller. Oh, yay! Nice! He's on the phone! Are you on duty right now? I am not. No, I have a day off.

00:13:56 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 4:
