I drove Kevin to go pick up his Mustang the other day I don't know how the hell they do business when they shut down 75 you can get off, actually this is kind of maybe Steve's ploy of trying to get you to buy cars from him you can get off on 75 to get onto there or for Holly Road there, you can't get back on, so this is their way of, you know, back in the day car sales guys, my father-in-law is his car salesman he used to tell me there was car guys that would take your car when they were going to do a say like a okay we're going to tell you how much money your car is for a trade-in car sales guys would go hey see your keys and they would throw them on the roof of the building so that are you kidding me yeah they would do that to keep you there so that you would say i want the new car like that was their ploy back in the day they didn't do this at zot but my father and i used to tell me about the shady car sales people that do it steve gabara might have some shadiness going on with MDOT because you cannot find an entrance to get on the freeway over there because they have that whole 75 construction thing going on over there in Holly and Clarkson and stuff. So I feel like every road in Michigan is right now under construction.

It is so bad. The road that I normally take, that I normally get out of my neighborhood to come to work is under construction right now. And it's been under construction for about a month and a half. so I have to go like all a different way out of my neighborhood and then all the way around to kind of get back on track and it sounds so dumb it adds like an extra five minutes an extra five minutes at four in the morning is a lot it's so stupid it throws me off every day that I just you know I'm mindless and I get in my car and back out and go that way and then I'm like

dang it yeah I have to go all the way around I don't know people like I've so I there's a couple people that live off of there's a street by my house called Pontiac Trail yeah and I see these people that live in these homes and they're really nice homes along Pontiac Trail there and the road has so at four o'clock in the afternoon five o'clock in the afternoon there is no joke five or six you know looks like miles of of cars that are waiting to get up towards Orchard Lake Road yeah how do you pull in and out of your driveway I always wonder that on those roads with those houses to me i couldn't live in those places and speaking of yucky traffic

Those areas right there. Bloomfield Hills, Pontiac. Yeah, I mean, that stretch is going to be, remember, you're going to have to go around, basically, because you can't drive in the Dream Cruise or it'll take you two hours to get anywhere.

I love Detroit. I love living here. I love that this has been our home and where we've raised our kids and stuff. I don't get Dream Cruise. I've never got it. To me, and I love cars. Hey, listen, classic cars are great. I think you should have them out all summer long, not just on one weekend. I think it's a great thing to have. i never got the idea of driving up and down three lanes of traffic in your classic car with a fedex truck and an amazon truck driving next to you doing their deliveries like it would be cool if they did like saturday for three hours they closed the road down and the only thing you saw like a parade was those cars yeah but when all day long people are driving up and down the street And I know that it brings business and stuff. I get it. Or some businesses hate it probably, right?

Yeah. Because these people are- Because they don't have- It's very hard to access a lot of those businesses.

It kind of like makes me always wonder when I see these, you know, these cars doing up and down. I'm like, why did they never in all the years of Dream Cruise just shut the freaking road down for like two or three or five hours? I don't care.

Shut it down in a period of place and let those classic cool cars drive without having some guy in a freaking Pacifica driving next to you.

It's stupid. It's the dumbest. I never got it. Can somebody please explain that to me? Like, why has that never been the case? Is it because Beaumont or Corwell or whatever, the hospital, is down the street? I don't know.

I think it would just be such a headache and hassle. They shut down the road for that Thanksgiving parade.

They love it. They sit there in their folding chairs on the side of the road, but they enjoy it. That's something fun. Do you think, is it generational? Like, will we see, I can't see 25 year olds right now doing, like Lydia and Bianca are never going to, to be when they're thirties and forties with a folding chair at the dry cleaners on Woodward. They do have different areas where all of the Corvette owners from all of the past decades get together. Beautiful. They should do that. And I like those areas. They also, and I noticed this last year, they have all of the dispensaries out. Yeah. So if you walk Woodward now.
