mojo of the morning we had the world tour of grad parties over the weekend good morning uh congratulations to all the uh recent grads went to a bunch of different parties had the most embarrassing thing happen and i want to know if this has ever happened any listeners and if it has call us up and tell the story okay i want to hear the the story behind it so chelsea and i went Two, I don't know, four or five grad parties over the weekend. A lot of kids that are friends of our son graduated and then, you know, had to, you know, at least make a, you know, an appearance and also taste some of the wonderful food. Which, by the way, let me just say, the Geshkis, by the way, had one of some of the greatest food. Evan, one of Luke's buddies, some barbecue that was delicious. Was it on the mini sandwich? Mike, I think they even had little mini rolls that you could put them on. It was wonderful. But you had to make your own. It was pulled pork, and it was also pulled pork, the best coleslaw that I had ever had. It was someplace, I think that's in Lake Orion, that was good. And then the one that we went to last night, Victoria's mom is Luke's old Spanish teacher. And Mrs. Aguilar, is she related to you at all? I wonder if she's like. I think we're all related. And they had, of course What do you think? They had Mexican food Mexican cuisine and also Brazilian cuisine And Spanish cuisine, so they had a lot of stuff So it was good, but those were just a couple of the parties And then Ryan's family Had an amazing one On Friday But I had already eaten, so I didn't Partake in the food, I did have some beverages But one of the parties we went to over the weekend Was wild To see this, and by the way, neighborhoods where do the kids graduate you can't find parking at all anywhere because there's so many kids that go to these parties so every single party that we went to we had to park at least a couple of blocks away from their home if we got there well after the parties had already started because usually the parties are like two till six or one till seven or you know something like that yeah so there's one party we go to we uh pull up and you know ways kind of takes me to their address and i had never been to these kids house and actually uh chelsea had never been either and We pull into this neighborhood, and we must have parked three blocks or so away from the house because that was the first place that we could find a parking spot on the side of the road that wasn't in front of a mailbox or a fire hydrant or a driveway. So we park, and we start walking up towards the party.

are always indicated by the congratulations graduate signs and then there's also like streamers or people do things right they do like different things to decorate and we're walking and we see the party we start walking up and usually what you do is you walk to the back of the house and people have them in their backyards or on their decks or whatever it is and it's that's kind of how the parties go so chelsea and i go walking around the house and as we turn the corner to go to the house we notice that they decorated for the graduation by having the gown that was worn for graduation hanging on like a hanger and then a picture collage of the kids from all the years well chelsea goes i think we're at the wrong house and i said what do you mean we're at the wrong house this is the grad party look at these people that are all hanging out there she goes first off i don't recognize anybody secondly it's a yellow uh uh gown and And Luke's gowns were green.

Oh, yeah.

For sure. We went to the wrong house of the wrong party. The party was actually two doors further down the street.

But did you scope out the food and drinks at this party before turning around?

But the wildest is the parents or I think it had to be the dad and the mom or maybe some other relatives. They come up and they walk up to you. Hi, how are you? And you're like, hi, how you doing? And you feel so awkward. And I'm like, I think we're at the wrong party. and they're like oh it's down the street and they kind of like pointed it to it so has anybody ever gone to the wrong party if you ever have gone to the wrong party I want you to call us up and tell us now we've had stories before on our show where it's like I've gone into the wrong house like where people are walking to the wrong apartment those are cool stories but I don't need those right now I want the full-fledged and I don't know if we'll get it anyone listening who has ever gone to a person's house for a house party walked into the wrong house and went to the wrong party or maybe he showed up at the wrong time because that gets embarrassing.

What parent is going to stop, like if me, I look like I could be in high school, go out and get a barbecue sandwich. You could get free food all weekend. You should try it.

Everywhere. We could do it on Thanksgiving, just walk into people's food.

I've done that before at games, like at Pistons games or Lions games. The Pistons games are hard now because you have to swipe to get into the suites. Back in the old palace days, you could just walk right in and nobody would stop you, but you'd walk into the suite and just start eating other people's food.

Well, remember, you walked into the wrong funeral.

Oh, that's right. I was going to Keith Janky, my buddy's mom's funeral, and went to the wrong funeral home completely. But I didn't go into the funeral. I walked into the funeral home, and I walked in, and I didn't see her name on the name. My mind went like you walked all the way up to the body. It was like, oh. That doesn't look like. Can I? They did a great job. Can I tell you guys the thing on Friday, too? Luke went to another prom on Friday. So you saw, I posted the pictures from a couple weeks ago of Luke's prom. Well, Luke went to another prom Friday for Evelyn, the girl that he went to prom with, who goes to Lake Orion High School.

She is so beautiful. She's a stunner, isn't she? Oh, my gosh.

Look at the, first off, I didn't post these pictures over the weekend because I didn't want to, like, you know, intrude on, you know, the, like, too much of a. . .

I prayed. They are a great making couple. I don't ask Luke. Luke gets embarrassed. I can't wait until Luke goes to Michigan State because I'm going to talk all about him at that point. But now he's at the point where he doesn't necessarily want me to talk about his life and stuff. So when he goes to Michigan State, because we're not on in Lansing, he's going to be the topic of discussion for everything. I don't know if this is weird to say friend to friend, but when did your son turn into a GQ model? Mike?

He doesn't look like my kid, and I don't think he is. He looks just like Chelsea, and I think she had an affair. And at that time, I can't figure out who it was that was in our lives. She has a jaw-flowing hair. Stop it. It's ridiculous. So we go to the pre-prom stuff, and it was for Lake Orion High School, which, KP, your alma mater.

Yes. And I asked my brother, by the way. He doesn't know.

He doesn't know. No. The parents of everybody there, they were the nicest people. Honestly, we hung out with them and just, you know, walk up and just started talking to them. I didn't want to leave. If we, Chelsea and I had, you know, we were going to go out afterwards.

Everyone's happy there. Lake Orion, where living is a vacation.

There was a house in this neighborhood that we went to that looked like a ski lodge. It was unreal. And it was like just a beautiful house. And then the house that we had it at was...

Yes. Well, it was a baby shower. I took in the crib, the stroller set, like five different presents, a whole bunch of stuff. Set everything up, looked around, didn't see nobody I recognized, which I wasn't going to for a little bit anyways. I was new. And then figured out it was the wrong baby.

How did you tell? Because all babies kind of look the same How do you know it's not the right baby? Is the name written somewhere?

No, well the decorations were a little bit off because of the invite we got didn't match and we even offered to help set up people putting stuff up made it a little bit worse we knew we were going to be the only salt in the pepper shaker That is awesome and well they kind of just laughed at us he said no so it's a little embarrassing taking everything off the poor lady's table going to the other lady's room that is so funny oh my god uh thank

you for the call what's up crystal hi this is crystal um i actually did not go to the wrong party but um it was actually christmas and i was upstairs and i was uh wrapping presents and my mom came up into the room and she said I really think there's like people here from your work did you invite people for Christmas over here for your work because we have like our annual Christmas party every year so I come downstairs and there's literally all these food trays laying out on my kitchen table and this lady and like whole group of people like come up and they start hugging me and they're like Merry Christmas and the one lady's like oh you look great oh and I'm like hi i'm like merry christmas um how do i know you they were at the wrong party they were literally

but they brought food trays and everything we will never forget that christmas these people

literally brought a whole spread and laid it out at the table and they were hugging and they're like

oh like they knew me that is so great can you imagine if you just let go let's just have a party right ron wants to talk about the whole crashing grad parties what's up ron how you doing

mojo yeah i did a um graduation crash did you really what did you do i went in there and ate and drank beer for free how long did you stay still there oh probably about three to four hours

oh my and did anybody ever come up to you and say so how do you know you know the graduate or

whatever? No, they just said that they just let me stay there. Are you kicking Ron out? I'm not

kicking Ron out. Did you do it again? Because after the first time, I feel like I'm addicted now. I want to see how many times I can do it. Ron? Yeah. Did you hear what Cav just said to you? No, what he said. Did you stop at the one party or did you try it again?

I tried it all. We did probably about 10 of them.

I'm impressed. Oh, Ron. Ron, that would be stellar. And you know what? There's so many of them going on these next few weeks. Just go and enjoy some of the food. That's such a great idea. Yeah. By the way, Mike, you should do this, and then you should film them all, and we'll make a TikTok of Mike going to grad parties. I'll shave my face because if I show up with a beard, a full beard, it's going to be like, hmm. I'm one of the kids. This is tiny, man. And you know what, though? You should see some of Luke's friends now. because these kids couldn't have beards in high school and they couldn't do it because they went to a Catholic school. They had to be clean shaven. There was one kid there, man. That kid had a wonderful mustache.
