Mojo in the Morning Show. so mike tell me what you think about this because i don't know if shannon or megan kp or lydia or any of the other girls around here will actually relate to this okay as a guy i feel like there are certain things that you can ask another guy And no, this is not a gay thing or anything like that. I don't want anybody to think that this is homophobia or anything like that. Come on. I'm talking about any guys. And that is, I was golfing with a friend. And after golf, we were going to go and just grab something to eat. But it was like a really, really like hot and sweaty day, okay? And we get done with golf and we said, you know what? the golf course is right by my house. Let's just go to my house and I will change because I sweat all the way through my shirt. It was awful. And he did too. And he brought some clothes. He had some clothes with him. And we were going to leave and we were going to go and we were going to grab some food at this little taco bar thing that's right by our house. And my buddy asked me if he could borrow two things from me. Tell me if you would give this to another guy friend of yours. He asked me if I had an extra pair of underwear that I could give him and some slides if I had any, like, you know, slide sandals, you know.

00:04:42 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

I don't know why, but I'm more freaked out about the slides than I am the underwear. Really? Yeah, because your feet are gross to me in general, but your feet go right on that, and you can't really wash slides. Not like you can wash underwear. I feel like underwear can get clean.

00:05:00 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 1:

and slides, there's still some sort of funk on it. I get it. Yeah, I kind of get that. I actually thought both of them were weird. Like, I thought both of them were way too personal to use. You're right, you're right. But if I had to pick one over the other, I would give the underwear before I gave the slides. The interesting thing is that he's a guy my size, so he's a bigger guy too, and he could fit into both, and he had bigger feet too. He wears a size 13, and I have 13 1⁄2 or 14 slides. But can you borrow? Is there some things that you can borrow or cannot borrow? Like, the reason why I said this to Mike right off the bat is, for some reason, I think women are weird enough to allow another woman to wear their underwear or their bras or things like that.

00:05:43 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 3:

Bras are different. Yes. Underwear to me is gross because booty holes cool in underwear. Same with bathing suits. Girls sharing bathing suits to me, that's super gross. See, I have shared a bathing suit with my sister. That's gross. See, feet are clean. Feet are super, super clean. What weirds me out about shearing shoes, specifically slides, is when they're molded to the person's feet. It's nothing to do with cleanliness. Everything to do with texture and feeling. If my feet don't line up with the indentation into the shoe, that makes me want to gag. Yeah, but all this dead skin falls off your feet and nobody's nails are- I mean, there's dead skin everywhere. It's gross.

00:06:23 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 4:

Floating around in the air. I buy used shoes and people think that that's so weird Like on Poshmark sometimes I'll buy Shoes that have been worn And Mojo you and I were talking about this and you're like You buy used shoes

00:06:34 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 1:

First off Talk to a podiatrist they'll say that's not good Do you have your feet are molded differently

00:06:40 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 4:

I've never had an issue with it

00:06:44 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 1:

Yeah They actually say that it's not a good thing

00:06:47 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah I mean I don't care if they're cute and cheaper I'm buying them

00:06:51 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 1:

But on top of the fact that you have somebody's feet fungus that has been on that thing. Again, if they're cute and cheaper, I'm buying them.

00:06:59 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 3:

You would do it. When you go to a pool, do you wear slides the entire time until you get into the water? No. Okay, so I don't want to hear about it. I literally don't want to hear about feet. Are you talking to me? No, anybody. Oh, okay. Like you'll walk barefoot in public in certain spaces all the time, no problem. Yeah.

00:07:15 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 1:

I saw something the other day that my sister Pat sent me that I'm going to have to play for you guys about about feet and shoes and all the rest of that stuff and going barefoot that will make you never go barefoot ever again. You will never, ever take your, your, you know, your bare feet and touch the ground. David, are you there? I'm here. David thoughts on this. Would

00:07:38 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 2:

you let another man in your underwear? Absolutely. But now they become his underwear. I am not

00:07:44 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 1:

taking them back. You know what? That's actually a really good point. The funny thing was I I said, why can't you just put on a pair of shorts with no underwear on it? And he thought that that just seemed weird not to have underwear on there. And then the part with the shoes that was interesting was he only had golf shoes. And you're, you're a golf, David.

00:08:02 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 2:

I've golfed before. Yes.

00:08:03 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 1:

He's got like the, the traditional looking golf shoes, not like the new golf shoes now that kind of double as like gym shoes. And so he would have looked weird. He would have looked like my dad walking into anywhere with these shoes on. My dad used to wear dress shoes with shorts.

00:08:20 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 2:

I love him. I'm letting him borrow them, but I'm not taking anything back. I agree. It belongs to him now.

00:08:24 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 1:

I ended up giving him. I had, he did not want, he goes, I said to him, I go, you know, I've got some old flip-flops here. And he goes, I don't like flip-flops. And I go, why do you not like flip-flops? And he goes, I don't like the thing in between my toe. And I'm like, I mean. I was just being a jerk. Yeah. And you're asking for something from me. I'm going to give you something. I'm not going to give you the slides. I got to, you know, I only have like one pair of slides or one, would it be one pair? I guess it would be one because there's two shoes. What's up, Carly?

00:08:52 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

00:08:53 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 1:

What's going on?

00:08:54 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 2:

Not much. So do none of you go bowling?

00:08:57 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah.

00:08:58 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 2:

Use bowling shoes?

00:08:59 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yep.

00:09:01 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 2:

So we're all wearing other people's shoes. Yep.

00:09:04 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 4:

I mean, that spray that they spray in there, that doesn't do a darn thing. But there's socks in between.

00:09:10 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah, the socks comment that Mike just made is the truth.

00:09:15 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 2:

All right, your feet are sweating in there. All the germs go right through. Did he put on new socks? Because if not, there's still nasty socks sweat.

00:09:23 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 1:

Well, he wasn't going to wear socks. He was going to go barefoot because he sweat through his socks and everything, too. Plus, I'm not a person that wears socks with slides. I can't do it. I can't pull it off.

00:09:33 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 2:

My husband has to. He has been a LIGO, and his feet are white as white can be. So they turn red otherwise. So he's always wearing socks, whether he is or not.

00:09:43 - 00:09:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah, well, then in that case, it's fine. I just can't pull it off. I look bad with him on. What's going on, Poncho? How are you?

00:09:52 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 2:

Not too bad. How's everybody else?

00:09:53 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 1:

We're doing good, Poncho. What's happening?

00:09:56 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

It's almost as bad as saying, or I'm asking, can I borrow?

00:10:00 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 4:

your deodorant or toothbrush oh my god that's actually truth by the way i do my kids will will take my deodorant it's disgusting that their armpits have been on my my deodorant i'd rather borrow than have bo so you actually have used other people's deodorant that wasn't that was a

00:10:16 - 00:10:23 | Speaker 5:

roll-on the only one i would use would be my boyfriend but that's because he's mine so well

00:10:23 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 4:

yeah you guys touch each other in in naughty places don't lydia did i use your deodorant

00:10:27 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 2:

recently i used somebody's yeah i mean you don't think that's weird don't you know that she could

00:10:34 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 4:

have some kind of a disease not not you lydia shannon i'm not uh lydia lydia's i i would i would suspect lydia could be cleaner than shannon as far as diseases are concerned you know that she's been around she's been on this earth a little longer than you but i just assume you know with all of us i probably have more diseases than all of you guys um thank you poncho for the my sister sent me this yesterday and pat sent me this yesterday and this is like the theory of should you wear your shoes when you're in the house and um you know what i always am like one of those people that hates taking my shoes off when i go to visit somebody things that people

00:11:21 - 00:11:37 | Speaker 1:

can just do no problem right now quit wearing the shoes that's a really big one think about all the nasty stuff we walk through during the day we go fill up our car with gas there's petroleum products and oils on the ground then we go into the public bathroom there's e-coli on the floor there's harsh cleaning chemicals then we go walk through the park with the pesticides and the herbicides and

00:11:37 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 4:

we go isn't that crazy to think think of all that stuff i know they go into this whole thing of everything that goes on and then they talked about parents letting their kids crawl around on the floor that people like walk on.

00:11:49 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 2:

That was the only time I will say that I was kind of crazy about people wearing shoes in my house because now I don't really care. You can wear your shoes or take them off. I don't really care. But when the kids were crawling, I made people take off their shoes. I couldn't. But now it's so funny. We sit on the floor like, you know, it's kind of the same.

00:12:09 - 00:12:23 | Speaker 4:

Yep. And the other thing too is you let your kids just crawl around on the grass at a park, you know, and not realizing that there's pesticides and poops and things like that. I'm loving the fact that Bozo's called us up again. Bozo.

00:12:24 - 00:12:26 | Speaker 5:

Hey, guys. How's it going?

00:12:26 - 00:12:28 | Speaker 4:

Good. What's going on? What's your comment?

00:12:29 - 00:12:37 | Speaker 5:

So I actually wanted to point out that I worked at a skating rink for three years, and in the three years that I've been there, they have not once disinfected the rental skates.

00:12:37 - 00:12:38 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:12:40 - 00:12:48 | Speaker 2:

I mean, yeah, I was at the bowling alley the other night, and I saw the kid use the spray, and it was, like, just like a dusting. I mean, they didn't do anything.

00:12:49 - 00:12:59 | Speaker 4:

Why do you got to do that to us, Bozo? That's not nice of you to tell us that. Like, now you just ruined it for anybody that was 14 years old that was skating around that place.

00:13:00 - 00:13:04 | Speaker 5:

Thanks a lot. Sorry, guys, and I'm not going to tell you which one it is either. You just have to guess.

00:13:05 - 00:13:12 | Speaker 4:

Is it the one that's right down the street from the radio station? I don't know. Okay.

00:13:12 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 2:

That's a big yes.

00:13:13 - 00:14:16 | Speaker 4:

all right thank you for the call bozo we appreciate it um all right i'm thinking about uh i'm also thinking about the fact that my buddy when he was wanting to wear my underwear i was thinking all right well i'll just give him an old pair of underwear and then like poncho said just let him have it yeah or not have poncho uh who was the first uh guy was david david yeah um and i I have an underwear in my thing that for some reason I cannot discard. It has holes in the thigh area of the boxer breeze. But for some reason, it's like the underwear that I just keep because it's always the last one in there that gives me the forewarning that I need to make sure I do some laundry on my underwear. You ever have that? Like where you just have like, you know, if you get down to that, you know that you're done. And I can't throw it away because it's kind of like a bookmark, you know, so to speak, for my underwear drawer.
