All right, it's Mojo on The Morning Show. Let me talk about my Christmas wish that I'm doing for somebody. I'm granting a Christmas wish for Zach. Zach from our show, the expert podcasting guy. What do we call him? The executive audio producer. Well, I just got a new phone. My Apple phone upgrade came. And you do that whole thing. You ever do that at all?

00:01:56 - 00:01:58 | Speaker 2:

Okay, do I need to do this? I'm still up to 2013.

00:01:59 - 00:02:28 | Speaker 5:

I do it every two, every two years, they'll give you a, they'll give you a thing if you do their little plan thing. And so my new phone came and I have the choice of trading in my old phone and getting, I think they were offering me like $300 or 350 bucks for the thing. Maybe, maybe more. I don't know. I didn't, uh, didn't have them go in and take a look at it. And I thought, I saw Zach is, what are you using right now? What's your Apple? Uh, iPhone 10. Let's go. He's got 10. He's on 10. Let me see it. Let me see. I think it's 11.

00:02:28 - 00:02:33 | Speaker 2:

Do you still have the little button on it?

00:02:33 - 00:02:34 | Speaker 5:

The little circle button in the bottom? No.

00:02:35 - 00:02:37 | Speaker 3:

Okay, when did they switch that? This is the first one without it, baby. Was it?

00:02:38 - 00:02:42 | Speaker 5:

All right, so I'm giving my old phone to Zach, but I'm giving it to him with a little bit of fear.

00:02:42 - 00:02:43 | Speaker 2:

That's so nice.

00:02:43 - 00:03:33 | Speaker 5:

I am fearful that Zach is going to somehow get my information because I truly believe, no matter how much you wipe your information off of this thing, that there is still a chance that whoever gets your phone or your computer, if you give it to them, is somehow looking at your porn or knowing your credit card numbers or your passwords or any of that stuff. What are you more afraid of, the porn or the credit card? Passwords. Not passwords or porn. The passwords. Because I use virtually similar passwords for almost anything, and at that point then he gets into everything else. So I wanted to ask this question. Has anybody ever done this where you gave somebody some kind of an electronic device only to know that years later they were still using your information on the deal am i

00:03:33 - 00:03:38 | Speaker 4:

gonna get burned by this sack i mean is your netflix password on there well it is i could

00:03:38 - 00:03:52 | Speaker 5:

really use it and youtube tv's on there too and that just and that just went up you don't have to factory reset by the way youtube tv is the same price as xfinity i just want you to know that now 120 they're they're seriously up up to 100 bucks now that's a big story today okay can i tell you

00:03:52 - 00:04:38 | Speaker 2:

something yeah so you this was a couple of years ago we're so kind and i was gonna buy smith maybe one of the kids an ipad and you were like do not do that i have one that i don't use you can just have it whatever and for what i i know you wiped it but for whatever reason whenever we tried to log into anything it was your email address that would keep coming up oh jesus and not that my kids can text because they can't they don't have you know we don't obviously they don't have phones phone numbers or anything like that but if they clicked the little messages tab all of the text messages that were there still when you gave us the thing oh no wait so could you read my text messages but it wouldn't let you it wouldn't let you scroll so like i could see it was just the ones that were there it was just the ones that were right there that's the problem is i don't

00:04:38 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 5:

believe that these these factory resets i don't believe it either wait which ones did they read

00:04:43 - 00:04:50 | Speaker 2:

i want to know what they it was obviously nothing incriminating or it would have been made a topic It was all boring stuff

00:04:50 - 00:04:54 | Speaker 5:

Because that's the biggest worry is you go in there And it's all of a sudden like What do you say?

00:04:54 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 2:

Shannon's got a folder on you

00:04:58 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

Just in case

00:05:00 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 1:

Zach so here's the deal I'm wiping it this weekend so I'm going to wipe it clean this weekend then I'm going to hold on to it for like literally maybe 24 hours I'll do it tonight I'll hold on to it and then Monday I'll bring it in to you even in the old box I'm going to give you the old box with the charger and all that stuff but if you find anything on there that is written about any member of this radio show you are to give it back to me and we're going to do it and you cannot do it send me a screen grab

00:05:29 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 3:

exactly

00:05:30 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 1:

Art, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. What's happening?

00:05:33 - 00:05:44 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's up? Good morning, long-time listener. Hey. Morning. Hey, I just wanted to say that for real. Not for a time, but anyways.

00:05:44 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you can't do that.

00:05:53 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 3:

Fraud. Listen, this is so, like, when you said what you said, But I'm paranoid, too, because we got it.

00:06:01 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 1:

You what? What did you say, Art? That's what you get for life. That's what happens to you. Art. Jacob. You call back, Art. What's up, Tiffany? How you doing?

00:06:19 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, guys. Good morning.

00:06:21 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 1:

What's happening?

00:06:22 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 2:

So an ex and I, we broke our phones. We got a new phone from his aunt, and she forgot to delete some photos. So there was some photos on there that were not appropriate for us to see.

00:06:35 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 1:

From Auntie?

00:06:38 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:06:39 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 1:

What kind of photos? Can you describe? What was Auntie doing?

00:06:44 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 2:

She was completely naked.

00:06:45 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 1:

Oh, nice. And who is she sending these things to? Was she sending it to Uncle or to somebody else?

00:06:51 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, to somebody else. Oh. No way. But was she looking good? She was. Hey. She really was.

00:06:59 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 1:

Really? Oh, my God. Yes. That is awesome. I love it. Hold on. Art's back with us. Art, see, you lied to us, so it screwed you over. What's going on?

00:07:09 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 3:

All right. So I don't know how far I got. But anyways, we got the phones from Disney, blah, blah, blah. They didn't work as good. We returned them. Two months later, I get a letter or I get a phone call that the detectives want to talk to me. I'm freaking out like I'm in trouble. I did something wrong. I did nothing. I'm at Taco Bell. They come meet me up there. I'm sitting down. I'm talking to them. And they said, you know, did you have a cell phone, whatever? I said, yeah. And then next thing you know, he goes, well, a family's suing the phone company. And I said, for what? And he goes, well, a family bought the phones. and the little girl that got my phone, because I deleted everything, I swear to God, I did.

00:07:47 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:07:48 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 3:

And the little girl found a D-pick that I sent to the wife. Shut up. Oh, no. I swear. Hey, tell me why, though. Tell me why. This cop just has the nerve to go, I wasn't impressed. I'm like, what? This is crazy. You have a little penis. You know that's jealousy. This is crazy. That's unbelievable. Why are the cops asking you to meet them at Taco Bell?

00:08:12 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 1:

No, because it was the cop's wife that he gave the phone to, right?

00:08:17 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no, no. Oh. A family bought the phone.

00:08:20 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 1:

Oh, the family that bought the phone. Okay. Oh, I thought it was cops. Yeah, so they were doing them. So the cop was, oh, my God. That's crazy.

00:08:30 - 00:08:39 | Speaker 3:

When they said meet up, I said, can you meet me at work? You know, and I talked to the boss. They're like, cool, whatever. But it was just funny when he said that. And I was thinking, oh, man, you know, like, are you going to fire this law?

00:08:39 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 1:

Hey, quick question for you, and this is very important. Is it really small?

00:08:46 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 3:

No, no, kickstand.

00:08:51 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Chris? How you doing?

00:08:54 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 4:

Not too bad. First time, long time. Hey, buddy.

00:08:59 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 1:

Now I'm doubting everybody on those. What's up?

00:09:03 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 4:

So I recently found out that when you delete contacts from your phone, they do not disappear.

00:09:09 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 1:

Really?

00:09:10 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 4:

I, yeah, I rented a Santa Fe from Enterprise the other day, and when I connected my phone and allowed it to see my contacts, it was pulling up contacts I've deleted out of my phone from like two years ago.

00:09:25 - 00:09:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. Really? So that's a scary thought because I got some contacts in there. I don't know if I want Zach actually seeing, you know?

00:09:33 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's probably more than just contacts.

00:09:37 - 00:09:51 | Speaker 1:

Although I would tell you this, that I would actually be fine if Zach would do all my phone call returns to Aunt Pat. Maybe. I'll do those. I'll do those. Yeah, maybe, Zach, would you do that for me? I would do that for you. You're such a nice guy.

00:09:51 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 4:

You're going to make him your personal secretary. That's what I'm going to do. Don't just phone Zach speaking.

00:09:56 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to give Zach this phone next week. week, and you guys got to judge for me if you think that Zach found something on there by the stories that he starts telling us on the radio. I think something's going to be coming up. IceCube's big three season is heating up. The most competitive basketball league on earth is on CBS this Sunday.
