I have not been out of the studio the entire time that we have been doing the show, and I think it's for a good reason. And I know this is going to sound really weird, but it's because how horribly depressing this radio studios has turned into in the last week or two weeks. I just was leaving the bathroom. I asked Mark. I'm like, are you ready to get out of here? It's like, man, I'm ready to get out this industry. I think it's the studio that's making it feel that way. well i have to tell you guys we're so we're moving to newer place we're moving to a brand new building are we well it was supposed to be what five years ago i think or something three years ago but it is happening it's definitely happening you i know how i know it's happening because we're spending money and fixing and patching up holes in the wall and you know how you you know when you leave an apartment or you you sell a house you have to patch up your holes that you have from pictures that were hanging and things we have to do that i guess

in this building i didn't know throw up some neutral paint or something yeah that's what

they're doing we have we have to make this place look like it was when we got this place which we moved into this place i think it might have been and i could be wrong on this it's like 2004 maybe or 2003 or something where were you before this we were at where our tower is 10 mile greenfield road it's a it's an oak park michigan and it's where the antenna is that is the home antenna for wkqi channel 955 detroit and when we moved here from there i don't remember us doing anything like this because i think we just sold that building this one we had we rented so to kind of give you an idea of like the bittersweetness of this when i moved from our house that we were once in that chelsea and i lived in on cherry blossom lane i remember for about in chelsea could attest to this i think it was at least a year i would drive back to the old house and sit in front of it and cry like i i am a guy that does not like change so i am one of those people that i would go to the old house. It was to the point where I think the

lady who bought the place whose name was monica i think she used to call the police on me and say there's a man sitting in front of this a man sitting in front of my house crying just got caught doing this really yeah i got so emotional you got emotional too when you sold your old house

upset it's it's depressing and so i i like would go by that old house i would go look at it i would i picture in my head the kids playing in the yard and climate loot or jacob would climb the trees all the time we would lose jacob at times we'd be like jacob jacob and then we'd hear a snickering he'd be up in the tree like we didn't even he was like it was like a freaking monkey it was crazy it'd be up in the tree and I could look at that tree and think of that so with this radio station there's been so many memories over the years that I've had with our studios here even though I think this might be one of the worst places to have a radio station I agree in the middle of Farmington Hills Michigan no offense to people in Farmington Hills but it's not like it's the media destination where people go to you know what I mean like we could never get guests to come here because it was too far off the beaten path like if we got a guest to come here we had lie and tell them it was off the highway but it wasn't be in the city yeah and we should be in detroit but i'm walking around these the building and yesterday the guys that are cleaning this place up and fixing this place up are ripping down the taylor swift off the walls the big sean from the iheart festival they took our logo off of our goddamn door did you see that i did so i didn't

notice it right away but then lydia said they started to come in the studio and do that and She was like, no, we're actually still working here for a while.

I'm like, what is going on? This is crazy. And so as I sit here right now and I have to pee because I had an entire Trenta of coffee this morning, a Trenta-sized cold brew, I don't want to go outside because I get literally depressed. And I'm looking at what used to be Carrie's cubicle, the little area where we would all hang out as a show and kind of goof around and watch television or do stuff. The bathroom area there, outside of the bathroom area, is completely like an open space.

Yeah, it's weird.

Our studio door, which had Mojo in the Morning logos on it, it had Channel 955 logos on it, iHeartRadio logos on it. we have no logos at all none of the hall anybody that's ever been here or seen a picture of us where we take the pictures in front of the signs we don't have anything to take a picture in front of yeah we have guests that are coming in this morning on a backstage pass they must think that

we're all getting evicted well they're getting a very special experience it's crazy what's going

on it's like really emotional for me and i'm so excited for our new studios and for listeners to come and we're gonna welcome with open arms everybody that is from eastern market to come by and say hi to us or if you're downtown hanging out in detroit you're visiting detroit whatever we'd love to have you so cool but our new studios are so cool but memories you can't get rid of yeah you know so with that said i would like to ask the question is there a way that somebody can

with memories and moving and all this?

Yes. My fiance and I have been renting out a house from one of our friends for the past two and a half years. We're moving today. And I was cleaning yesterday. And all of a sudden, I just started crying. And I'm like, why? It's like we're moving to a better place and stuff. But it's just like our friends won't be next door. And, you know, just taking all your stuff, all of new things we've bought over the last two and a half years pictures it's like a lot do you

But I'm going to say this to you. If you look at this place and see what it's like now, it's weird. And they did it in a matter of, like, two days.

Yeah, they really did.

Do you know what they found? Want to hear something crazy, Emily? They went up in the ceiling tiles, and I think it had to be Big Boy or Buckhead or Tic Tac or one of the other guys that did nights. They found somebody was putting bowls of cereal up there that were actually half eaten. I have no idea.

Isn't that disgusting? I love it. And why? It's not that far away.

This is like when you move and you're cleaning up your kids' rooms, and you realize they put boogers on the wall.
