Download the Moto Casino app today. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. So I went out to dinner with Chelsea last night and we're hanging out at the restaurant and Chelsea out of the blue said something that I want to turn into a topic this morning. She said that I am undateable and I want to explain this. You know how we do second date updates here on the show every Tuesday or what is it Mondays and Wednesdays. I'm forgetting the days that we do them. uh chelsea said you know i listened to your second date updates and after sitting here at the dinner table and watching you eat i realized that if we were just in the dating process i might ghost you she said that she got so disgusted when and i had i've been having a runny nose lately like i've gotten a little uh little post-nasal drip as my dad used to always calling um i started having a runny nose and i grabbed the napkin which was a cloth napkin it was a nice restaurant that we went to it wasn't like the paper napkins and i blew my nose into the cloth napkin and she said that was the most disgusting thing that she's ever seen well i didn't have anything to go blow my nose with and she said i should have gotten up and gone to the bathroom and done it instead of blowing my nose into the napkin then putting

00:03:32 - 00:03:56 | Speaker 3:

it right back on my lap that's the part you messed up with is it you don't put it on your lap it's used at that awful now y'all been married for how long uh 31 years 31 years i don't and i know you like to say like we got to keep it spicy keep some of the sex still steamy i don't think after 31 years of marriage you need to get up and go to the bathroom to blow your nose thank

00:03:56 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 7:

you that's doing a lot well that's what she said though she said though if we were at year number one or even before year number one if we were in the dating process i would probably not get a second date like there would be there would be you know if i was out with girls girl if i was out with girls if i was out with a girl i was out with my wife if i was out with a woman that was not my wife jealousy that loves me unconditionally that would be a problem that there would be an issue with that and so it made me think i want to ask the listeners what's the grossest thing that somebody ever did on a date that you were on that made you go this is the gross or grossest thing maybe you've ever done on a date would that make me undateable Shannon would you be if you were out with a guy and you were dating a guy and he blew his nose during the date at the table would you find that to be disgusting if that was a first date

00:04:43 - 00:04:51 | Speaker 2:

I would find it to be gross but I don't know that it would be a deal breaker yeah because I know I've been guilty of wiping my nose with my napkin

00:04:51 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 3:

many times it has to be the level of mucus though. Like if it's one of them, you got to clear out both nostrils and you go on...

00:05:00 - 00:05:01 | Speaker 2:

If you're super crazy, then that's disgusting.

00:05:01 - 00:05:07 | Speaker 6:

Or if you do it on your sleeve or if you look at it after you put it in the napkin, then I'm really grossed out.

00:05:08 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 2:

You know, my dad used to carry around a handkerchief. My dad used to have these things that were called handkerchiefs. And it was one of those things where I think in that time of, you know, of their lives, that was actually kind of a sign of I've made it if you actually had something like that. And so my dad would would blow his nose into it, you know, and then he would put it in his pocket. but he folded it nicely like he folded it nice and neatly and I guess it dried up or something when it was sitting in his pocket in between the snot times

00:05:39 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 6:

my grandma used to always have the Kleenex up the sleeve she would always have a sweater on and she would always stick a bunch of same thing, Mojo, she would fold it because she had a bunch of them so if you needed a Kleenex she'd just pull one out of her sleeve and you don't know if it was right next to the used ones that by Russian roulette

00:05:58 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 2:

I have to tell you, that was a very grandma or motherly thing to put it in your sleeve like that. What did she do when it was summertime and they wore short sleeves? Where would she keep it?

00:06:09 - 00:06:15 | Speaker 6:

I don't know. That's a good maybe. I feel like she used to wear like little slacks and she'd keep them in her pocket.

00:06:15 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 2:

She wasn't like a purse carrier.

00:06:18 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 6:

She was a purse carrier, but she didn't really leave the house other than to go to church.

00:06:22 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Mateo? What's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi. Hey, good morning. First time, long time. Hey, Mateo! Oh, yeah. No. Sorry, sorry. I actually like that. What's going on, buddy?

00:06:37 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 1:

So, crazy enough, this guy told me that he had a dairy issue. And then we went out, and then he asked for ice cream. And this was a whole day. Sun setting, super nice day. We're over by the Riverwalks, and all night, uncontrollable gas. And he knew he had this issue. He knew he had this issue and did it anyway.

00:07:01 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 2:

Did you give him a second date just because you felt bad, or no? Was that it?

00:07:07 - 00:07:14 | Speaker 1:

I asked him about it, and I got to tell you, he said he did it, and he didn't care, and then he did not get a second date.

00:07:14 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 2:

See, that wasn't the kind of butt stuff you were looking for. You knew you were going there. What's going on, Miranda? Hi.

00:07:23 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Mojo. I'm a first-time caller. Hey, Miranda. I totally want to tell you guys this story. So me and my girlfriend, on our second date, I went to Hashdash the day of, and I didn't eat. So I was high as hell. I was hungry. We went to Painting with a Twist, and I decided to drink some alcohol on top of not eating and being high. And I went to the bathroom, and I projectile vomited all over the place.

00:07:59 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. You painted the bathroom.

00:08:02 - 00:08:07 | Speaker 4:

And when I say, like, it came out on my shoestrings and everything, you guys.

00:08:08 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 2:

And this is the very first date that you're on. That is unbelievable. So did she come in and check on you, or did you walk out? Did she ever know?

00:08:16 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 4:

I walked out, you guys, and she was like, what's wrong? And I'm like, don't go in there. And she was like, are you sure? I want to help. I'm like, no, no, let's go. So we just left. But we've been together three years now. Yeah.

00:08:31 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 2:

That's love. That's in awe. That's great. Thanks, Miranda. Call more often, okay? I loved your reaction to being a first time, long time, and getting the air horn on that. That was cute. Kylie, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. We're talking about what would make you undateable or what made somebody undateable. Hi, Kylie.

00:08:51 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Sorry. Didn't hear you say my name. No, hi. So, my husband, he, you were talking about your dad's carrying a handkerchief. My husband carries a hanky every day. And I think it's pretty normal. 42.

00:09:09 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 2:

That's a very old guy thing to do for a 42-year-old younger dude.

00:09:15 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 5:

There's kind of a story behind it. Okay. He was burnt from the waist up.

00:09:20 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh.

00:09:20 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 5:

And it went into his nostrils. So, like, he has to blow his nose all the time. Oh, okay.

00:09:25 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 2:

Okay, well, then that's understandable, and I got nothing to make fun of him about. The poor guy got burned. Well, thank you for the call, Kylie. I appreciate it. I think we should bring back the hankies. I think I need to figure out if they even have them at stores. What's going on, Jasmine? Hi. My boy Nelson to get you on. Hi.

00:09:43 - 00:09:54 | Speaker 3:

Hi. I hate it when guys, oh, my gosh, I hate this. They finish off their fingers after a meal. You know, they lick them all. Lick them all. You like that stuff. I like them.

00:09:55 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 2:

The only way you can do it is if you're eating ribs. I've had a restaurant.

00:09:58 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 3:

You like it.

00:09:59 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

No.

00:10:00 - 00:10:03 | Speaker 4:

In front of people? You like it. It's because Kevin does it. Kevin does it.

00:10:03 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 5:

Depends on what I mean. I know it. It depends on what I mean. That is totally a Kevin thing to do. Oh, my gosh.

00:10:09 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 2:

Did you guys see the viral video last night of Clippers assistant coach, Dante Jones, and what he did? No. That was so disgusting. NBA champion. Google. So there's like a surveillance video of it, and somebody was a jerk and released it. But he's waiting for an elevator, puts his hand down the back of his shorts, like itching in his butt crack, takes it out, sniffs it, and then wipes something on the wall.

00:10:40 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no. That's crazy. Oh, my God.

00:10:45 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 2:

Please Google it. It's so funny.

00:10:48 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 5:

You worry about him licking his fingers. Lisa, what's up? Hi.

00:10:56 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, Mojo. Shannon, go to the doctor. I got two quick comments about my dad. Mojo, my dad said he grew up on a farm during the Depression, which he did. And they did the laundry outside, you know, on scrubbing boards. He said the handkerchiefs were the worst to wash. He had gross memories of that. But the other thing he did later in life was he didn't matter what kind of restaurant we were at. He would, before he ate, he would take out his dentures and chase us around the table with his dentures. He thought it was absolutely hilarious.

00:11:34 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 5:

He would pull his teeth out and just take them out after you. Oh, yeah.

00:11:39 - 00:11:54 | Speaker 4:

And then go, you know, with his hand holding it and chase us around the table. And when he died, I actually inherited those dentures. They were good memories. Wait, what did you do with them? Do you have them somewhere? I passed them on to his grandchildren.

00:11:55 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 5:

I think that's unbelievable. That would be a great piece of nostalgia.

00:12:00 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 4:

He's hilarious, you know? He was that kind of guy. He was a bar owner in Michigan, in Saginaw, Michigan.

00:12:07 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:12:08 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 4:

And everybody loved him. What bar? Yeah, he was just that kind of guy.

00:12:12 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 5:

What bar did he own in Saginaw?

00:12:13 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 4:

Todd's Bar in Bridgeport, Michigan.

00:12:16 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 5:

I bet you there's some people listening right now that said, oh, my God, I remember the guy with the dentures. He was probably chasing after them with them.

00:12:22 - 00:12:34 | Speaker 4:

Oh, they do. And he was a tiny little bar, but he packed them in. He was such a people person. And then, of course, when he passed away, it was never the same again. But, yeah, he was very loved.

00:12:34 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 5:

Do you still have the bar?

00:12:36 - 00:12:37 | Speaker 4:

But I'll wait for the topic. Huh?

00:12:38 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 5:

Do y'all still have the bar?

00:12:40 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 4:

My dad owned it. And, yes, actually, when he passed away, I owned it for a short time. But I didn't want.

00:12:46 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 5:

I was going to say, you should put the dentures in the bar. I know. That would be. That would be the good thing. You ended up selling the dad's bar.

00:12:53 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 4:

I didn't think about that. That was a great piece of memorabilia. John Lowry. He worked at the Detroit Free Press for years and years, and he's a very loved guy. He never met an Emmy. There are people who are listening that know John Lowry right now.

00:13:10 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 5:

Absolutely, I'm sure. We'll be getting messages today. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

00:13:15 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 3:
