It gets to be loud and crazy Oh, can I throw So fireworks displays are also a big thing too Like parties and things like that So let me ask you guys this question Do you think that we are Like I don't know, party poopers Every party needs a pooper, and that's why we invited Mojo. I went to a fireworks party this weekend. So they had a fireworks display on one of the lakes here. And I went with two people that you guys may know. I know you guys know. The listeners may not know them, but I know they'll know at least one of them because he advertises on our station, and he's Megan's future husband. So I went with Steve Gabara and Jeff Sackwa to a fireworks party. Us, the three stooges I mean that, honest to God So we go to this fireworks party And I don't know if you guys are like this Or if you think that I'm just like ridiculous for doing this We got to the party at like 7 They had barbecue and they had drinks and all this stuff And they don't light off the fireworks until dusk Which is typically like 10.02 or 10.10 or something like that at night So from 7 until that time, we had a great time. We drank. We ate. I mean, it was just awesome. But as soon as the fireworks started going off into the sky, like the moment that the very first one went and everybody all of a sudden, if you ever want to rob somebody, here's when you rob them. When the fireworks display goes off, everybody instantly just looks right up.

And forgets all their stuff that they have around them, including their wallets, purses, whatever. I swear to you, I could have made off with some really nice purses. Because there were some ladies there with some nice purses. We raced out of this place. We literally took off running because it was one of those things where it's like, I want to beat the traffic.

There is nothing more mojo than that story right there.

So the whole point of going is the fireworks. But for me, it wasn't. It was to see people, and it was to enjoy the food. And I just, I was kind of like, I'm done with this. I don't want to be part of this. And Jeff and Steve were exactly that same way. They both were like, all right, let's get out of here. And we got out of there as fast as we possibly could. It was so damn funny. And it made me think, I get made fun of all the time by listeners, people who are on the show. If I go to a concert, I never stay for an encore. I am out of that place so fast.

No, that's when all the good songs are. Oh, for the most part.

Right. See, I told you that you'd do that. But if it's one of your shows that you are like, you know, you don't have to worry about beating the crowd to the parking lot because there's only like 100 people or something.

You know what I think the rule should be, though? It's just no concerts on the weekday. That is the most ridiculous. We should create a new law. Concerts are only on Fridays and Saturdays. My friend just invited me to go to Pink with her. And I'm like, it's a Wednesday night.

out of there as soon as i looked at that taylor swift set list which was a long set list and i

knew what era i was leaving by i mean i was like here i am out of here i'm the exact opposite like but for the same reason so i'm not one of those people where as soon as the event ends and you see everybody in a line or in a rush to literally go nowhere but to stand in front or behind someone I will wait until security says, hey, sir, it's time to go. Like, I'm usually there when people are cleaning up because I don't want to rush to wait.

But you don't get bored, though? That's cool. And you don't hate the idea that you're waiting in an empty arena?

One of the funny things that happens, though, is everybody likes people watching. You get to see who's drunk. You get to see who lost their phone or something.

I could not ever go anywhere with you because if I'm waiting around, in my head I'm going, I would be halfway home by now. Or I would be home in my bed right now and I haven't even left yet.

It's a parking lot. Like literally, especially if you parked in like a parking garage.

I love fireworks. They make me happy. But I don't get, like, the, you know, like, the bros that spend three grand on fireworks every year. That's, like, took the big, like, Ford fireworks. That's cool. Yeah. You know, you go somewhere and they have the fireworks. That's cool. But, like, people that drop thousands of dollars on them, that's what I don't get.
