Got a chance to host and welcome everybody to the Our Magazine. It's Detroit's number one magazine. They're best of Detroit. They named Mojo in the Morning as their best DJ, which I like to say I'm more than just a DJ. This is a radio show. Come on. But they gave that great honor and then got a chance to see everybody that was voted, Whether you were in the media or one of the best bars, restaurants, salons, doctors, lawyers. I mean, they had everybody there. I saw Ben Johnson there last night, the big attorney. And I ran into Brad Galley. We talked to Brad. And Claire. Claire Galley. We love her so much. We had such a great time. Kevin, the ladies of the show. So Shannon's on her honeymoon right now, but Lydia and Bianca were there. I saw the pictures. Our entire staff was, like, the sales teams and our management team, which those guys blew me away. That was awesome. Did you guys see the awkward moment that took place at all, Bianca, Lydia?

Oh, my God, yes.

Did you see that? So we just got off stage, Kev, and there's a big backdrop of the, Our Magazine always does their great logo, and it's the best of Detroit. And so they had it there on the wall where people would go and you could take pictures, And there was a group of listeners that were wanting to take pictures and then friends and stuff that came up and Brad and we're going through the pictures. And then there's this kind of, I guess I would say, semi-attractive black lady that was there. What would you say? Would you say she was attractive? She was kind of just feeling herself.

Yeah, she was feeling herself.

She's standing in line. I'm like, oh, this is kind of cool. After this kind of elegantly attractive couple walked up. What color were they? They were they were Romanian. So I think that they're like off-white. Spicy white. Yeah, they were like, you know, they were like eggshell, I think they call it. So I get done taking a picture with them. She comes up and she's got, Kevin, this is like a girl that's like, I'm going, oh my God, she's kind of cute and stuff like that. And she's got some attitude. Cool that she's a listener of the show, kind of gives me a little bit of, you know, comfort in knowing that this radio show enters the masses. She hands me her phone. I grab her phone. I take a selfie picture with her. And you'll understand why I did the buildup like this. Get the picture. I go, God, thank you so much. I really appreciate it. And she looks and she goes, who are you?

Oh, my God. Embarrassing.

And I go, I'm Mojo. And she goes, oh, can you take some pictures for me? She just wanted to take a picture in front of the stand-up. She had no interest in taking a picture with me. She wanted you to be our photographer. So I took like three or four pictures. And then what did she do, Bianca?

She looks at Mojo, looks at the picture. She's like, you didn't get my shoes in it.

That's the cardinal seeing.

And I think it was more than three or four. They were the full-on photo shoot. We were waiting like a couple minutes to get the shoes. She was like pointing at the shoes. She was like, the shoes, the shoes. It was amazing.

It was, buddy, I'm going to tell you this. It was the funniest thing ever. This girl, it could not have been like a more awkward experience of me thinking, this girl actually cares about the mojo in the morning show she could care less i don't even by the way i'm like hold on i had my plaque i'm the best of detroit i don't know i just wanted this thing just a second ago uh and then there was another

lady the same thing right there's a lady that came up right after mojo and she's like can we get this big guy out of the way she did not say that she did not say that video to the group chat her shooing mojo out behind this bag you got video oh she made me take a video on her phone i started recording it i'm like you need to send this to me uh it was priceless it was actually so

funny and it's so funny because everybody goes there and they're all dressed up everybody's looking amazing and they're all like you know showing off their thing and stuff like that and I am looking at my watch the entire time. And I said to you, Chels, as we were driving down there, I'm like, what did I say, 20 in, 20 out or something? So I'm like, 20 in, 20 out. We're getting up there, we're going, and we're out of there. And I was counting the minutes. I mean, at one point, there was a moment where I think I was doing it too much. Like, I was talking to too many people. And Lydia leans over to me and goes, we're going to set a pick for you and get you out of here.

Actually, Brad Galley said the same. Brad Galley is the one that said that. Yeah, it was Brad.

How long did you end up saying? I probably, what, an hour maybe?

Maybe. Okay.

30 and 30. No, so I was there, so I got there at 6.40 or 6.45 and then did the intro of the whole thing at 7.30 and then was out of there by maybe 8.20. Okay. I mean, it was great. Yeah. They were great. Actually, the hour.

It was a great party.

The hour magazine people were. They did a great job. It was the first time I've ever, we've, you know, the show and I have won and Shannon actually won the last DJ last year. have won that thing numerous times and I've never gone. And then she went, I believe, last year and then she said how great it was and then this year they asked if we would host it, so I thought that was actually kind of cool. That's dope. Aaron wants to make a comment real quick about the show. What's going on, Aaron?

Good morning, everybody. Chelsea, I'm on your side. I think you're chopped liver to your husband because if he was a true gentleman, he would want you to play throwback throwdown.

Oh, they did ask me to play, and I respectfully declined.

And you're welcome for that, Erin, because you would not like it if I played.

Erin, Chelsea, you know, Chelsea's music is, like, all over the place. Yeah. Like, she's all country, so she loves country. But then she also will throw in, every now and again, like, a song from, like, the 80s or 90s or early 2000s. But I think, well, actually, she might be Kevin. I don't know. Kevin, I'm telling you, Kevin, if you get beat by somebody who admittedly is not great at this thing.

I wouldn't. I mean, obviously, I think when Shannon had her three-peat, I felt like the songs were starting to be a little bit more skewed as you wanted her to be the first four-time champion. Needless to say, if your wife plays, obviously every song is going to be skewed to her.

You don't think that I would?
