America's social casino. Mojo in the morning. So Father's Day is going to be a fun one this weekend. I'm excited to be able to spend time. Luke is my only son that's home, so we're going to have a good time together. Something weird, though, happened yesterday. And this is something that we've talked about before in the past when we've had that psychic that's been in studio with us, the one that talks to the dead people, Rebecca Rosen. I've got to get this out of my throat. There you go. So Rebecca Rosen has been on our show before in the past and has talked about how my father will send me little things throughout the day to let me know that he is there. And for anybody that has heard over the years about me talking about my parents, you know, I lost both my mom and my dad, my dad later in life. So as a grown man, my dad got to see me as a father and got to hold all my kids. So he got to be with all three of my boys. And then he had passed away at the age of 80. And I loved both my parents so much. And sometimes in life, I used to get frustrated with my dad. And I think I took out things on him that I probably shouldn't have. But now I see I am exactly that same person, you know. Yesterday was a wild day. I plugged in the aux cord in my car. And I was driving down the street listening to music when just random things will come up on my phone. And it's usually things, either a song that I download or in some cases, a piece of audio that I download for the show that will go to my iTunes playlist or whatever it is. And the weirdest thing happened after something kind of caught me off guard that played. And the song that came on afterwards was associated with what happened. And I'm going to play it for you right now. So yesterday while I was listening to music, song is on, next song comes on, a voicemail, which is the last voicemail that my dad had left for my sister, we pass it around amongst my brothers and sisters on Father's Day. It started playing, and it was a voicemail from my father who was basically calling to say, hey, I'm sorry, because he wasn't feeling good, and everybody had to leave the house, but he wanted to say that he loved us, and I'm going to play it for you guys right now. This is my dad's voice, and when I see what my dad looks like, I was...

00:05:00 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 7:

I'll show you a picture of my dad here while you're listening to this voicemail message.

00:05:06 - 00:05:13 | Speaker 4:

The bowel movement was a success. And I am back in my chair.

00:05:14 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 7:

By the way, he wasn't feeling good. His stomach was bothering him, so he had to go to the bathroom. So he was talking about his bowel movement at that time.

00:05:21 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry for coffee travel.

00:05:26 - 00:05:28 | Unknown:

And you're leaving so early.

00:05:28 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 5:

I miss you I love you Bye bye

00:05:39 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 7:

You can hear my dad there That's my dad right there That's my dad right there He's playing the maracas My dad would love to play music

00:05:55 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 1:

Did he play the harmonica?

00:05:56 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 7:

Played the harmonica, the maracas, the bongos. He was Cuban. He was from Cuba. So that audio plays on my phone. And I'm like, oh, my God, it caught me off guard as I'm sitting, you know, at a red light listening to this. And then right afterwards, this song plays. And I'm not making this up.

00:06:17 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 6:

He was a giant When I was just a kid I was always trying To do everything he did I can still remember Every lesson he taught me Growing up, learning how to be Like my old man

00:06:53 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 7:

Starts playing right afterwards. God, did you just freak out?

00:06:58 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 1:

Was it waterworks for you?

00:06:59 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 7:

It started becoming waterworks. Then I kind of caught myself a little bit going, Dad, what the hell are you doing? Are you in this car right now? Because Rebecca has told me that he'll send me signs. Yes. And it's wild because my dad, Rebecca says, will come to me as a cardinal sometimes on our back deck. And I've seen it before and I haven't seen that in a while. But when she was in with us not that long ago, she said my dad was there and my dad was, you know, sending her messages. And it's like my dad is sending me messages as I'm getting ready to prepare for Father's Day.

00:07:35 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 2:

So did you start like having a conversation with him?

00:07:38 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 7:

Did you start like I did say something like, oh, dad, like I started. as I was kind of tearing up, but I didn't continue with it. Mike, do you do that with your dad? Do you have conversations?

00:07:48 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I do. Yeah, yeah. Sometimes I'll just go outside, too, and if I feel like lost or if that would have been the moment, I would call him for advice. I'd just go outside and start talking to him, but there's been moments where weird stuff like that, nothing like that, that's incredible. I truly believe that he was there in that moment.

00:08:05 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 7:

It was the weirdest feeling ever, but it was also one of the greatest feelings ever, and I wanted to share that.

00:08:13 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 2:

Now I'm a child. That is.

00:08:15 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

00:08:16 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 6:

Got a son of my own. He's always trying to go everywhere I go. Do the best I can.

00:08:30 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 4:

The ball moment was a success. And I am back in my chair. I'm sorry for a coffee table.

00:08:43 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 5:

I miss you. I love you. Bye-bye, sweetheart.

00:08:57 - 00:08:57 | Unknown:

Wow.

00:09:07 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 1:

Don't you love that you have that?

00:09:09 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. I love that I have it, but I love that I have the words that he said.

00:09:14 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:09:15 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 7:

I miss you.

00:09:16 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 1:

I love you.

00:09:17 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 7:

I love you.

00:09:18 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 1:

00:09:18 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 7:

Goodbye, sweetheart.

00:09:19 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:09:21 - 00:09:26 | Speaker 7:

Even though it was for Patton, not for me. Son of a bitch.

00:09:30 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

00:09:31 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 7:

That's beautiful. Do you guys save? I still have my dad in my phone as dad. I haven't taken him out of my phone, and my dad has been passed for some time now.

00:09:43 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Wes's parents have both passed, and he did not have a great relationship with his dad for various reasons, but he was very, very close with his mom, and she passed away from cancer a couple of years ago, and he does the same thing. He will listen to voicemails that she left him.

00:10:00 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 5:

um he actually played some for my kids the other day just so that they could hear her voice and it is it's so special to have those things yeah i wish there's a i used to have a

00:10:10 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 1:

umail account and it's like it was like a weird off brand of voicemails you could get voicemails to it and i can't figure out how to get into it but i i think there are voicemails of of my father on it oh you gotta figure we gotta figure we yes yeah if anybody knows umail was it yeah yeah It was like an old-school email type of service. I don't think it was an app or it was like a forwarding number, and I don't even remember why I had it at the time, but I know they're on there. I just don't know how to get into it.

00:10:40 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 6:

Before the cloud, the old iPhones used to just keep it right on the phone, and I have some old phones that I want to go through because I know that those old phones have got to have some messages on there, too, from my dad. Angela, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:10:56 - 00:11:00 | Speaker 2:

First of all, you're not supposed to make me cry after I finish my makeup.

00:11:04 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 2:

00:12:06 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 6:

a message being sent to you that's that's not coincidence you know no no it was bizarre so of

00:12:13 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 2:

00:14:25 - 00:14:30 | Speaker 6:

Joni, isn't it wild to think that our dads are probably getting drunk together like we all have?

00:14:31 - 00:14:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you know it. Daddy's making his apple schnapps. It was so gross. I found it one year. It had mold on it. But, yeah, they're probably drinking apple schnapps and Stroh's.

00:14:46 - 00:14:46 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:14:47 - 00:14:48 | Speaker 4:

And Stroh's.

00:14:48 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 6:

My dad is probably telling some crazy stories that I used to always think were completely fake until I went to Cuba and actually realized that some of these stories were true. I just think my dad was the biggest, like.

00:15:00 - 00:15:02 | Speaker 1:

Like, Storyteller. Exaggerator of things.

00:15:02 - 00:15:03 | Speaker 4:

Dude, have you ever seen the movie Big Fish?

00:15:04 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's it, right?

00:15:05 - 00:15:08 | Speaker 4:

00:15:18 - 00:15:21 | Speaker 6:
