All right, it is Mojo in the morning. So I went to lunch with a very hot lady the other day. Chelsea? No, it wasn't Chelsea. But I would love to tell you that that this was more salacious than I went with our one of our big bosses here, Shosh, who is what is their exact title that they have? It's like executive vice president of something I heard something, something.

00:01:40 - 00:01:41 | Speaker 4:

We got to show her some respect.

00:01:41 - 00:03:09 | Speaker 2:

So so Shosh oversees like a bunch of radio stations. I think she's got like 80 plus, maybe 100 radio stations around the country. and so she's like the boss of the bosses and she has been like it's it's cool to see the growth of how what iHeart does with a lot of people here Shosh came in as a sales rep here at the radio station like right out of college and worked her way up then became the head of the digital department then went to Toledo became boss of all the stations in Toledo then moved to this big national role and it's awesome and she's like one of Bob Pittman's pride and joys man he loves her because she does a great job she's a division president now let's talk about awkwardness okay so division president whatever that means i think they need to have a better title than i thought my title was better i agree so we go out to lunch because she's working downtown here you know she's coming here you know while she's in town not traveling in her markets um we go to uh san morello's which is uh the restaurant that's right there with the shinola hotel um and we walk in And it's kind of cool as a guy that honestly never had girlfriends at all. Like, I only dated, I think, maybe two people before Chelsea and I ended up together. And I'm very blessed that I have a long-lasting, great relationship. But I'll be honest with you, man. I wish I had, like, a list of girls that I dated over the years. A slew of them. I really do.

00:03:09 - 00:03:17 | Speaker 4:

And one of those two, let's be real, one of those is imaginary. The lovable stewarder is still imaginary. I never dated her. She does not exist.

00:03:17 - 00:04:49 | Speaker 2:

she does not exist i never dated nancy i went out on a date with nancy nancy doesn't exist this is a long time michael jordan will one time come on the air with us and tell us that he remembers nancy so let me get back to my story here you're rudely interrupting me right now fake news all right so we walk into shinola and we walk in together and i never know when you're sitting at a table that's meant for four how the seating arrangements go so i usually try to wait for somebody to sit down first before i decide to sit i always like to sit if i'm with like i've gone on client calls before one of the most infamous ones was i remember i going out with marla feldman from feldman automotive once and people were calling chelsea saying hey i saw tom out with this very attractive brunette wow and chelsea knew that i was going out with marla so But she was like talking to these people all the time. And Chelsea's friends with Marla too. So long story short, Shosh wasn't going to sit down anywhere. She was making me be the first one to sit down, which is awkward because I don't know where to put my stuff. Like, you know, I don't like, I had, you know, my phone and all the rest of it. I sit down and I'm thinking Shosh is going to sit across from me. She's not an across sitter. She's a sit next to you sitter. And I was like, oh my God, hold on a second. I'm going to look around. People are going to think this is a war of the roses. because when you sit next to somebody it's a little bit more romantic i think it's way more intimate don't you think it's kind of an intimate thing

00:04:49 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 4:

disagree more oh i do but it comes from the perspective of i'm hard of hearing so if i'm at a loud restaurant i need you to sit next to me or i'm not going to be able to hear you that's

00:05:00 - 00:05:12 | Speaker 5:

me is way less romantic than same side booth sitters really i hate you if you that's me i don't care i know it grosses me out i don't care how in love you are it is so weird to see people

00:05:12 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 3:

sitting on the same side of a booth it's usually why i do it though like i like being close to my husband but also i can hear him way better can i tell you something with the same side booth thing

00:05:20 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 1:

megan same side booth thing happened to me with a sales call went on a sales call with angel back in the day like probably a week or so ago because we go on so many of these things but we were waiting for two clients to come and there were booths that they put us in i sit down at first in the booth and angel sits next to me i go you can't sit like that you got to get up and go to the other side i because i don't want to be same side booth sitting until they come you know i mean

00:05:45 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 5:

it looks awkward right that's even more awkward it is one thing if you're walking in together and you're scooting into the same side of the booth but if you're sitting there before clients get

00:05:52 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 1:

there you got to stay on the other side until they get here it was it it's it's so interesting when you know you're not doing anything wrong to see that you feel like you're doing something wrong right so we're sitting there the whole time and i'm going oh my god this feels weird i'm like what is the etiquette like could i ask her to move to the other no we didn't get into a conversation she asked me some great questions listen she asked me a she asked me honestly one of the greatest questions she said to me she goes hey when you when you're not doing this anymore what would you want to be known for i was like holy crap and i was like this is deep i she was no she was i know she was like she was oprah and me she was trying to get me all emotional and stuff yeah

00:06:33 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 5:

can i guess your answer yeah was it dating a basketball cheerleader ah you're such a

00:06:39 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 1:

i forgot the bulls name so that was i'm gonna call her the b word right now on the radio oh it'll be the first time we'll be like listeners are gonna get i'm gonna get away with it

00:06:47 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 4:

know you then even when the waiter or waitress came over to take your order did you make it very clear that this was not your wife or girlfriend that this was a co-worker it was a female waitress

00:06:57 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 1:

because i know how you get about this female waitress she came over and i said hi my mistress hair was like did you or did you joke about it no i didn't say anything at all like okay no and i and i'll tell you something like i uh i am a very awkward person like i awkwardly was kind of like looking around the whole time i was kind of like trying to figure out exactly if anybody was looking

00:07:21 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 4:

nobody was paying attention no nobody was caring at all you think and then you get a dm well you know it's like saw you at blah blah blah well the weirdest was we walked through couldn't say hi was

00:07:31 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 1:

too nervous and then you're like oh crap i don't know where the front entrance of the uh the sam marillos is so i always just walk into the shinola hotel so that's awkward because you're walking through a hotel entrance going to the whole thing um can i ask the listeners just a real quick question on this one if you are going to lunch with a you know co-worker of your sexual preference yeah i'll say that because it's not the opposite sex right

00:07:57 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 5:

how respectful yeah thank you i want the gays to call too come on gays come through gays call us

00:08:03 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 1:

um i i'd like to know like what do you do like what what do you do in that case so if you're going out with tony right would you sit next to him or would you make would you know what would

00:08:14 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 4:

you do if he sat next to you uncomfortable for me yeah and not that i'm even uncomfortable around tony but that like i just wouldn't naturally do that if i was going out with any of you guys

00:08:24 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 2:

right bro the only time you sit next to somebody is if you're at the bar y'all about to touch legs Really? You're about to rip her thigh or she's about to grab your dick or something.

00:08:32 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 4:

But to be honest with you, oh my gosh. That's the only reason you sit next to somebody. And I am a bar sitter. If there is a place where there's a bar that you could eat at, I always opt for that over a table. And Mojo, you're the same way. And I do feel like that can get slightly uncomfortable sometimes. It's uncomfortable. Because even if you are, if it is just a coworker, if it is strictly platonic, there is something that just feels like you're, Like it's more than that I don't know why

00:09:01 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 5:

So when Zach and I Have gone to like bars And sat next to each other I intentionally tried To turn my chair Like towards them You know what I mean So we're not sitting Next to each other We're facing each other

00:09:09 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah yeah Cause the bar is like There's no other way To do it You literally have to Sit next to them But if you're choosing To go table or booth Get your ass on the other side

00:09:18 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 1:

Yes 844-MOJO-LIVE Text 95500 Here's a texter here Says I work with Nothing but women And anytime that I do go to lunch it's me with three to four of them everybody thinks i'm the man i love that by the way what where are you working at i wanna is that is that the one guy that works at victoria's secret i always think if the one guy that works at victoria's secret has got to be gay right or it's just very smart yeah it is caitlin what's going on it's mojo in the morning what's up caitlin

00:09:46 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 5:

so i'm a server and i actually kind of make fun of saying side sitters a little bit because there's a whole nother table to reach at yeah because then you get the couples that also reach across the table and hold hands. Oh, who would do that?

00:10:00 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 2:

all the time by the way all the time listen shannon saw her her son barf yesterday she's going to see the rest of us barf if she talks more about all this stuff the public display of affection that she does in restaurants i don't know where you work caitlin where do you work what restaurants you work at uh buffalo wild wings yeah shannon's shannon's at buffalo wild wings touching on to west the entire time with sticky hands the epitome of romance b-dubs yeah Yeah, exactly. Thanks for the call, Caitlin. I appreciate you.

00:10:30 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 3:
