It's Mojo on the Morning Show. So one of our really, really close friends that works for us at iHeart, he's actually one of the big executives here, one of the people that we love so much. We have a great staff, great team, best company I think I've ever worked with in all the years I've worked for radio companies. He's battling right now and going through some treatment. He's doing some chemo treatments and some radiation treatments. And last week, the people that be put out an email to all of the on-air personalities and some of the big programming people and said that they wanted to do what's called a meal train. Have you guys ever heard of these things? Yeah. What is it? It's when somebody that you know is going through some kind of a tough time or has something going on in their life, whether they're, you know, being faced with like a surgery or something, or maybe they had something that happened in their family, like a divorce or whatever. Everybody comes together and picks a day of the week to send over a dinner to them. It's what neighborhoods do, you know, and friendships do like, hey, I'm going to cook you a casserole on Tuesday. You know, Bob's going to barbecue you some, you know, ribs on Wednesday, you know, stuff like that. Very nice. But there's this site called Meal Train, and I got it sent to me by Lainey, and she sent me this thing, and she said, hey, would you want to be part of this Meal Train to help out our friend? And I won't say their name, even though I think he would probably be happy to air his name on the air just because he's such a good guy, and he loves morning radio. Well, I'm like, absolutely. I'm going to do this because I love this person. I'm going to pick a day. Well, then I go on there to go look at the days to pick, and I see names like Elvis Duran from the Elvis Duran show. I see, you know, the Breakfast Club, you know, with Charlamagne the God and Envy. And I'm looking at all these names. I see, like, you know, programming guys like John Peake, who runs our Los Angeles properties. I see Tommy Chuck down in Tampa. I see the Joe Show. I see all these people on this. Heavy hitters. And I'm looking at what they're doing. And on this app, you can send like a DoorDash gift card, which is convenient and easy. Or you can provide a, I'll take this day and I'll get a dinner and I'll have it sent over to their house.

00:04:27 - 00:04:28 | Speaker 5:

Which is nice.

00:04:28 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, our friend lives in California. And I don't know about you, but I'm a very competitive person. And I know you guys are too, right? I like where this is going. I don't want to be outshined, outsparkled by Elvis Duran. Okay. Elvis, I know, is the big guy in the company, you know? Okay. And for all, you know, say he should be. He's excellent. He's on a million stations. He also is on our biggest station, Z100 in New York. I know Elvis is going to do something big for him.

00:05:00 - 00:05:07 | Speaker 3:

I know he's going to probably like do a carryout order to some great restaurant. I got to go bigger than that.

00:05:07 - 00:05:08 | Unknown:

I got it. Go ahead.

00:05:09 - 00:05:12 | Speaker 2:

I have the perfect answer for this. You want something over the top.

00:05:12 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 3:

I need over the top on this meal train.

00:05:14 - 00:05:16 | Speaker 2:

More important than what everybody else is doing.

00:05:16 - 00:05:17 | Speaker 3:

No tuna casserole on this one.

00:05:17 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 2:

So you can go to everybody that you respect in the industry and say, I'm better than you.

00:05:22 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

00:05:23 - 00:05:24 | Speaker 2:

Okay. So you love this show?

00:05:24 - 00:05:28 | Speaker 3:

This is not about feeding my friend. At all. This is about winning this thing. Go ahead.

00:05:28 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 2:

No, I love a good competition. I don't care about grieving or people in need or who cares about people to decide. It's about me and my reputation. So you love the show, The Bear.

00:05:39 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

00:05:39 - 00:06:07 | Speaker 2:

It's really funny because the one guy on that show who's an actual chef comes off as the idiot who can't cook on that show. And it's Matty Matheson. All right. Okay. And he has partnered with Detroit's standby on a menu here. And so that means he knows people in Detroit. Is there a way where his connections can reach out to him and see if we can work with him to do a meal for our friend?

00:06:07 - 00:06:12 | Speaker 3:

That would be amazing. And then maybe have him Zoom him.

00:06:12 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 2:

And you know what? I'll offer this. I'll do like a social promotion for his menu at his restaurant.

00:06:17 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 3:

Yes. I don't want him Zooming. He has to go to this man's house and cook it live in his kitchen.

00:06:24 - 00:06:26 | Speaker 2:

We need like they say farm to table.

00:06:26 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 3:

I want table to tongue.

00:06:27 - 00:06:30 | Speaker 2:

Wait, I can't remember. Did you say where this guy lives?

00:06:31 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 3:

He's in California. He's in Pacific Palisades or something. I don't know, somewhere nice.

00:06:35 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 2:

I'm guessing that he's in California. He has to be.

00:06:38 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 3:

Right? If not, Mojo will pay for the flight. We're going all in. See, I was thinking. We're going all in. I'm like, you just did that? Can I tell you something? Megan, you went above and beyond. Thank you very much, Megan, for that. I was actually thinking, is there any way I can get like Gordon Ramsey or Wolfgang Puck or Guy Fieri?

00:06:54 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 2:

I have the guy with an actual connection to somebody. I like Megan's thought.

00:06:59 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 3:

But Megan's is good. What's our budget? I don't necessarily know that we have a budget. So not much. You thinking cameo? We're just going to get them a cameo. I don't know. Maybe a cameo. That's not a bad idea. How much is a cameo for them? Look it up. For those that don't know what a cameo is, I've bought these for everybody on the show before. It's basically where a celebrity gives you a shout out on a video. What's up, Brittany? Are you there?

00:07:23 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 1:

I'm here.

00:07:24 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Brittany. What are your thoughts?

00:07:26 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, guys. My thoughts are that you just signed a food truck to their house. You've got to go big.

00:07:33 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 2:

A whole ass food truck?

00:07:35 - 00:07:37 | Speaker 1:

What if we did a whole food truck?

00:07:39 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 3:

That's a famous food truck. That's a great one. What about Los Lobos? What's my man's name from Los Lobos? Is that La Bamba?

00:07:46 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Pocos Hermanos. Yes. For Breaking Bad?

00:07:52 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 3:

Pollo Locos.

00:07:53 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 2:

I love that idea

00:07:58 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 3:

I think that's great Here's the thing though When you're going through radiation Can you eat a lot? I don't know how much food you want to

00:08:05 - 00:08:09 | Speaker 1:

But it's not about what you can eat Mojo You want to outshine these people

00:08:09 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 3:

That is true How about I not only feed him I feed his neighborhood Have the whole neighborhood do this thing

00:08:16 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 1:

Exactly They'll be talking about you for years You can send the ice cream truck through after

00:08:21 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 3:

It's the whole thing Elvis Duran's going to win this thing so much. He wins everything. You know, he's in the Hall of Fame already. I'm not. He's, you know, won an M.A.B.

00:08:33 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 1:

This will get you there.

00:08:34 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 3:

Or an N.A.B. This will get you there. Yeah, you think? Okay. Yeah. Well, I'm one that likes to go big. I like to go big. By the way, I also, whenever I go to weddings, I always make sure that I put extra stuff inside of the card so that it looks like I'm putting lots of money inside of the thing. When in reality, it's just tissue. and tissue paper.

00:08:55 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 2:

I love that. How serious are you about this?

00:08:59 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 3:

I need to do it big.

00:09:01 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 2:

I found the guy who definitely knows who Matty Masterson is.

00:09:04 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 3:

Tell him I need him.

00:09:05 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 2:

Do you want me to say his name so if anybody knows him we can get a hold of him?

00:09:09 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:09:09 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 2:

Anthony Curris.

00:09:11 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Okay.

00:09:12 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 2:

He is the Library Street Collective founder and standby partner.

00:09:17 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 3:

All right. If anybody knows him. I'll help him out with his charities forever.

00:09:22 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 2:

Help us.

00:09:22 - 00:09:50 | Speaker 3:

I'll help them. Yeah. I remember when Chelsea and I were bringing food over to a friend that just had a baby, and we brought food over. And I remember we had a whole bunch of stuff, and we show up at their house, and somebody doubled up on the same day, and they were in the house cooking it. And I said to Chelsea, I go, we just got out. Shine. You know? Our shine was not so good. And I don't want to have that happen to me with the radio people. What's up, Saw?

00:09:51 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's going on, Mojo? I just appreciate you doing what you do for your friends. Like I said, that's a real Detroit style. Yeah.

00:10:00 - 00:10:03 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to do it bigger than everybody. That's what we do in Detroit. I just appreciate you.

00:10:03 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 6:

Thank you.

00:10:04 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 2:

And everybody know that we're going to do it big. That's what we do. We want to do it bigger than whoever's doing it. That's how we always do it.

00:10:09 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 6:

We can't lose in Detroit, right? We got to win in Detroit. That's right.

00:10:12 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 2:

That's what I'm saying, Bojo. You're crazy. What I heard you say, I said, yeah. You're on point. I said, yeah, that's Detroit.

00:10:17 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 6:

I'm telling you, if I have to, seriously, I'll rob a radio station. I'll rob a restaurant.

00:10:23 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 2:

I'll rob a restaurant and a radio station. As you said, feed the whole neighborhood, bro. That killed me. I said, yeah. I'm going to.

00:10:30 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 6:

The whole neighborhood. Thank you for the call, buddy. I appreciate you, Saw. God, that guy's got to be a big man. His name is Saw. What's up, Amber?

00:10:39 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 3:

Hi. I was calling just to say with the food train for more simple meals, obviously not this, is just remembering that people could be sick and just not really feeling like they have company. So making sure, like, door drops and that kind of thing.

00:10:52 - 00:11:07 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Well, that's it. I'm probably going to end up doing a DoorDash gift card or something, but I don't know. I know you got to worry I worry that he's recovering and I don't want to make it too crazy but God wouldn't it be amazing if a celebrity showed up at his house

00:11:07 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 3:

absolutely I think there have to be some days that are full of joy and going to big for those people and it's just like you know if they're lasagnas or whatnot just remembering their door drops or texting ahead to be like hey do you want company

00:11:21 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 6:

what if we make a celebrity like trailer swift what if we send a celebrity we send somebody that looks like a look-alike yeah let's do a look-alike Gordon Ramsey and have him insult him and like make it a whole thing he would love that

00:11:36 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 4:
