i have to tell you a funny story so i have to shout this out yesterday so we're talking about our concert tickets so we gave away probably i don't know i would have the a couple thousand tickets or something like that to jingle ball they had 12 000 people there last night and i or 13 000 yeah it's like 12 or 13 000 the lady from uh lca told me this that's the man one of the managers she has like 13 000 people and i think we gave away maybe 1500 tickets or something and um there was a guy sitting front row and i went out to go say hey because i wanted to go out and and watch a little bit of jason derulo and the guy goes yeah he goes my wife i wish she was here with you and i go where's she at and i'm thinking maybe she had to go to the bathroom or something and he goes oh she's right over there and it was like not you know way up at the top but it was you know a little bit further up i mean she was like in the back area there and uh and i go huh why is she there and you're here right and he said well he said uh we got two free tickets from you guys by winning at 7 30 in the morning and then i said i'm gonna buy tickets too and we're gonna bring our friends so me and and he shows me his buddy are sitting here and our wives are sitting there. And I said, you guys are my men. I wanted to high five them. I'm like, yeah, put the women in the back. Right? Divorce. You know what I mean? No, I don't. There's nothing wrong. There's nothing wrong with guys standing up for themselves, you know? Come on, guys. We're not. I said to him, I go, why did that happen that way? I mean, she thought that our tickets would have been better tickets than the front row tickets or whatever that he bought. And he bought them on, like, StubHub or whatever. I'm like, are you an idiot? Do you not look at the actual row numbers? Exactly. Show up. It was crazy. And then the other story I got to tell you guys, this is a great one. So, top-notch party bus limousines are the official transportation of me. I literally use them all the time. I use them all the time. The Mojo in the Morning Show, and I know we used them yesterday, too, for our, you know, event, for getting clients and stuff over to the event. And thank you to Lori, and thank you.

00:03:51 - 00:03:54 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Lori's the best. I use them for my wedding. I use them all the time, too.

00:03:54 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, and seriously, you know, Ramon, everybody over there, we love you. But Mike the Driver was driving last night. And let me tell you something about Mike. And we've had Mike. Remember we did Mike for Irish and Ionia?

00:04:07 - 00:04:09 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's Mike. Yeah.

00:04:09 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

Remember Mike drove the car, the big party bus, through the parking garage in Grand Rapids? We literally drove through a parking garage, which was amazing. So Mike, he's a great guy. I love him. He's turned into family for Chelsea and I. And he is the master of getting places that he cannot and should not be able to get to. And he does it by name dropping. He says, this is Mojo's car, and I'm driving Mojo, and I cannot believe how much he gets by doing it, because I don't know if you guys know this. I may have done this radio show for a little bit, but I'm just still a radio person, you know what I mean? Like, I ain't, you know, Jared Goff. I don't get, you know, people chanting my name.

00:05:00 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 1:

in europe you know what i mean but um he uh he yesterday they dropped us off by the parking garage yeah and mike wanted to get closer for us because we were running late yeah and kevin's in in with all of us and um kev goes we're not gonna get any closer guys we're gonna have to walk they had those security barricades those big old things that are sticking out of the ground like you can't go through those ever since 9 11 they put those in buildings and things like that to keep you know terrorists from like bringing car bombs and stuff up so mike mike's like i got mojo in the car and i guess the guy the guy let him park on the concourse of little caesars we come out of the thing people are literally all around that area and it was like you know how they always like have like that open area where the people will festivate i guess you know like

00:05:47 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 2:

beer guardians festivate is that a name is that a word i don't know but i like it did you like it

00:05:53 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 1:

They'll all hang out at a festival. Mike does this. And he did this. He drove us for Thanksgiving when we went down for the parade and for the game. And we drove across the parade route. I have never in my life ever seen a car. Usually it's floats, right? It's like, I got Mojo in the car. Next thing you know, we're in the flow. We're waving at people on the side of the road. So I wanted to ask this question. What has name dropping ever gotten you? Are there any listeners that have ever dropped somebody's name to get something? because this is genius. Like, I will say, I have done this once. And when I say what I did it for, you guys are going to laugh.

00:06:31 - 00:06:32 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I can't wait.

00:06:33 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 1:

I call it, there's a restaurant here in town that I know Jay Towers always goes to. I see it on his social media. He takes a picture of his glass, of his, like, martini glass at the bar at this place all the time. You know what restaurant I'm talking about?

00:06:49 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 2:

No. Is it Capitol Grill?

00:06:50 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 1:

It's Capitol Grill. Yeah. Jay Towers eats at Capitol Grill a lot, okay? You ever want to see Jay Towers? Put him on Fox 2, 100.3 WNIC, or go to Capitol Grill. He's probably sitting there. So I call up there, and they're like, yeah, we don't have any reservations. They always say 9 o'clock at night. Who eats at 9 o'clock at night?

00:07:09 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. It makes me so mad on Open Table.

00:07:12 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and then Open Table, I went to Open Table. They had nothing until 9.30. So I call back, and I'm like, hey. And they go, hi. And I go, it's Jay.

00:07:21 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 3:

You know what? You're like, Jay?

00:07:24 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 1:

And I go, Jay Towers. Hey, listen, coming in with some friends, wondering if I could get a table. Hey, Jay, what's happening? Hold on a second. Wait, I'm using that. They put me on hold. It's Jay. They put me on hold. They come back here and go, hey, Jay, you there? Oh, yeah, we're all set, buddy. We got you at 730. All right, great. I'll see you there. Stop it. So I've used Jay Towers before. And I have told Jay, by the way, so he does know this. So don't be busting my balls by going in and texting him if you're friends with him.

00:07:50 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 2:

If I need something really, really, really, really bad, because I, I hate to ever like use the show, but I'll send it from my Mojo in the Morning account. Correct. I will send it from my Mojo in the Morning account. And by the way, screw you for last night and Mike too, because, and Kev saw this happen. My feet were absolutely on effing fire from the shoes that I wore. Yeah. And the driver that we had, who was like a, Matt, our iHeart promotions person, couldn't get anywhere near the arena. Wow. So I had to walk blocks.

00:08:21 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 1:

Sucks to be you.

00:08:22 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 2:

In those damn shoes. I need you to know that all night we were lidicating our feet. We're spraying our feet with a lidocaine. We could have used Mike to roll up to the concourse.

00:08:33 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 1:

Top notch party bus in the museum.

00:08:36 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 2:

I should have just said, I'm riding with Rachel, which I wasn't, but at least I wouldn't have had to walk. And if you saw me at the end of the night walking out without my heels on, as I walked through vomit in the concourse at LCA.

00:08:47 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. You're going to tell that story. What happened?

00:08:50 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 2:

I took my shoes off because I had hit a point where they were actually bleeding. And so I said to Wes, and Wes was like, you are not going to do this. This is disgusting. You're going to walk out to the parking garage. I said, I literally don't even care. I will take a shower when I get home. My feet hurt so bad. I'm walking through the concourse at LCA, and a listener screamed my name, so I turned around to say hi to her. And as I went to run over to give her a hug, I heard a janitor yelling, and it was because I was, and it was too late.

00:09:17 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 3:

I ran through a pile of vomit on the floor in my bare feet. I would have puked. It was so gross.

00:09:28 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 2:

It was all over the bottom of my pants, all over my feet.

00:09:31 - 00:09:34 | Speaker 1:

The orange dust on it like they had when we were in the school?

00:09:34 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 2:

They hadn't gotten that far yet. I think he or she had just had a moment. Oh, God. Yeah, so I'm really happy you had Mike that just pulled right up there.

00:09:42 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 1:

Thank you, Mike. Jessica, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi. When did you drop somebody's name? Good morning.

00:09:48 - 00:09:54 | Speaker 3:

I dropped my stepbrother's name or my stepdad's name to get out of a Sweden ticket.

00:09:55 - 00:09:56 | Speaker 1:

Did it work?

00:09:56 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Can I have the name? How do they know?

00:10:00 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 1:

It's just not so long because I'd be like, hey, do you know this person? And then they were like, oh, yeah, yeah, I've just seen them this morning. And then they would be like, okay, you're free to go.

00:10:11 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. It's nice to be friends or family with cops, isn't it, when you're getting pulled over. Shannon, what's up? Hi. Hey, how you guys doing? Fantastic. What's going on? We're talking about dropping names to get stuff.

00:10:23 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 5:

So I went on vacation in Florida, went to one of the theme parks. And one of the lines that I was in originally was, like, really long. And so they're like, hey, go to this ride if you guys want to. And you guys can say such and such told you to go in here and go into the fast pass lane. And then I got free rides.

00:10:44 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 3:

Wow, sweet. Oh, I hope you used it in every single. I would have done it all day. That would have been my fast pass. I'd try to use it still today. I still have, like, a – there's a place in Michigan State that we have parked before that I got a parking pass for. I still occasionally when I go up to Michigan State to visit – For real? I love that. Yeah, because parking is so expensive. I use that pass, and it still works. What's up, Chris? Chris, what's going on, buddy? Oh, good morning.

00:11:13 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 6:

How are you guys? Fantastic. This is Chris, the flooring guy. Chris, can I use your name? Yeah. i have worked as a flooring installer on restaurant impossible on the food network oh wow i i dropped robert irvine's name all the time we had him on the air several years ago for a contest you guys yeah you call a lot i remember you that's actually pretty cool so so you worked

00:11:38 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 3:

with him and so you use his name the star's name i'm going to use martha stewart's name for some reason can you imagine if you call just a place we should do that as a bit yes we should just pick up the phone and you know call up some restaurants here in town and see if martha stewart can get me a reservation somewhere that'll be fun you know that's or robert irvine maybe and try to use that name uh hold on skylar what's up hi how are you guys good you want to go back to shannon

00:12:03 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 1:

long time listener welcome this is skylar skylar's on the phone um so we were at jingle ball last night and it was absolutely incredible thank you guys so much um but unfortunately some girl she was a little bit older she was with some guy and she started

00:12:25 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 3:

projectile vomiting all in a row oh no no oh god i'm so sorry mine was in the concourse but maybe

00:12:35 - 00:12:40 | Speaker 6:

she was continuing to get sick out to her car yeah and it was the weirdest thing she just

00:12:40 - 00:13:04 | Speaker 1:

continued to sit there no one like her and her boyfriend they didn't move she did it like multiple times oh my god finally the first time i got in my boyfriend's shoes so we like ran out and there was two ladies shout out to them terry and linda they were in the raymond area and they were incredible and they helped us and it made the night so much better so somebody needs to tell

00:13:04 - 00:13:09 | Speaker 3:

me like what do you do when you're the guy that has to take care of the drunk friend or girlfriend

00:13:09 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 6:

You pick her up and take her out.

00:13:10 - 00:13:14 | Speaker 3:

I feel like you just ruin your entire night. It sucks when that happens, you know?

00:13:15 - 00:13:18 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Better than ruining somebody else's night by puking on them.

00:13:18 - 00:13:22 | Speaker 3:

That's true. Or stepping in it, right? Rocky, what's up, Rocky?

00:13:23 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 4:

All right. I'm calling about, like, using somebody's name to get out of something. Yeah. I used to tell a friend. I'd park at the DAC to get better parking whenever there was an event downtown, and I'd use a friend's name who belonged there. Last time I did it, I got caught because they're like, no, he's already parked here today. Like, you're not him.

00:13:38 - 00:13:44 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's funny. Wait, so you don't need something to show there that you're like a member?

00:13:45 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 3:

I think you can say you're a guest of. Yeah. Yeah, so you can say you're a guest of the person.

00:13:50 - 00:13:55 | Speaker 4:

I think now they have little stickers that go on the front of the car now. What's the guy's name?

00:13:55 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to use it today. Don't say it. We'll be walking out. What's up, Eugene? Hi, Eugene. Hello, how you doing? Good, buddy. What's happening?

00:14:06 - 00:14:21 | Speaker 2:

I'm a first time in a long time. Hey, buddy. So one time I was out at a bar around the Cincinnati area and I was name dropping and I got a girl to buy drinks and take me home.

00:14:23 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 3:

What name did you drop?

00:14:25 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 2:

Bill Bellamy.

00:14:28 - 00:14:35 | Speaker 3:

Bill Bellamy blast from the past. Is Bill Bellamy from Cincinnati and that's how you dropped it or he was in town doing a show?

00:14:35 - 00:14:51 | Speaker 2:

uh well he was in town doing a show and me and a couple buddies actually know him so we were hanging out in the green room like before a show and after the show and we went to the bar with him and did the girl think you were bill bellamy oh for sure not not at all not okay she knew you

00:14:51 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 3:
