Chelsea got back into town last night. It's so nice, by the way, having her back. She's been spending time with her mom and dad out west in Tucson, Arizona. And I got to be quite honest with you, I sleep so much better just knowing that she's there, even to the point that when she's out of town, by myself. I arranged the pillows that normally are just like the decorative pillows on the bed to look like she's actually laying next to me in the bed.

00:03:07 - 00:03:09 | Speaker 5:

Are you the big spoon or the little spoon?

00:03:09 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 3:

Well, what do you think? Little. My wife's the little and I'm the big. Absolutely. Yeah. Here's the part though of though though. I'm a though though guy. Here's the part that gets a little bit weird though. I don't share this very much but i have like really bad ocd like i i become a little crazy with certain things that i do and i don't know if any other listeners get faced with any kind of ocd if you do share with me so i feel you know less weird but i cannot leave the house in the morning without flushing the toilet three times and it's to a point that even if i go pee and I don't actually do a number two I have to flush the toilet three times so every time that I do this Chelsea instantly thinks that I have just dropped the biggest duty in the world because I'm flushing three times and finally this morning after all these years of marriage and after all these years of doing this she said to me is your stomach bothering you like finally said something to me. And I go, no. And she goes, what do you, why do you, I heard you flush like three times. And I said, I have like OCD. I can't do it. Like I do a couple of different things that are OCD driven. And for some reason, three is always the thing that I do, but I flush three times when I take my glasses off. So I wear glasses, you know, cause I got contacts normally that I wear. I, when I take them off, I don't just take them off and fold them up and put them down. I take them off and I go one, two, three. So I move the arms right first, left, right first, left, right first, left. And I do it three times and I put it in a glasses case or put them up. on the counter. And I do that three times too. And it's weird. And I don't know why it is that I do it. I have no clue, but I have to do it. And if I don't do it, like if I don't flush the toilet three times, I have driven off of my property. I've literally been down the street at the stop sign at the corner of our road and I've gone crap. I didn't flush the toilet three times. I've gone back because for some reason I think that the toilet is going to overflow or something like that. And I'm going to have a flood when I come home. But you don't do it here. I don't do it here, no. I only do it at my house. Has it happened before, and that's why you do it? Mike, one time I did not flush. I'm not kidding you. The third time, and I wait for it to completely finish and go, and then that little tank in the back fill up. And I came home, and I had water on my thing because my toilet, for some reason. It was weird. I don't know. It was one time it just had a little leak, and I had water all over the place. And that ruins everything. And it made me think to myself, well, if I would have done it three times. But it's weird how that happens. And listen, I will say this to you. It's a weird thing that I do. I don't think it's hurting anybody.

00:06:08 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 3:

I mean, it maybe causes my water bill to go up a little bit. But it's just weird how that happens. Do any of you guys have OCD?

00:06:18 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if it's OCD, but like when I look at something like we have Mojo in the morning in here. We got Channel 955. I have to rearrange the letters in alphabetical order. That is crazy. Really? Like Mojo, I'm going J-M-O-O. You do that in your head?

00:06:33 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 4:

You do it with everything. Yeah, with everything. No, that would drive me nuts. That's really interesting, Kev. Yeah. Huh.

00:06:39 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 3:

So you do it in your head doing that? Just yourself? No matter where I'm at. With everything that you do. Like, what do you do if you go to New York City and it's Times Square?

00:06:47 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 2:

CJV, if it's JVC. I don't know. Really? And I do this thing with my fingers where I go like pinky index ring thumb middle like it's like a diagonal thing yeah okay yeah i have i

00:06:59 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 4:

color coordinate everything everything every closet anything i can color coordinate i color coordinate so like all my clothes all that stuff and then i even though like there are certain parts of my house that are cluttery i even do it here it's lined up does my area kill you yeah so like my phone is lined up with my ipad and the mouse if i haven't used the mouth and like my waters i can have like eight mugs over here and they're all yeah it just needs to all be like linear has to be there i'm sorry you're it's a dumpster behind your computer

00:07:36 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 3:

what do you do though in the case shannon where you're you know you got my kid stuff it drives me crazy yeah what if they pick something out of the out and put something in the wrong spot

00:07:47 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 4:

It's interesting, and Wes can attest to this, when it's my week to have my kids, like, I have to kind of give it up a little bit. But the second they're gone on Sunday, because that's when we transition them, everything goes back to order.

00:07:59 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 3:

Wow. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What's your OCD thing, Jeff?

00:08:07 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 1:

All right. So, like, I have the same thing, except it's not my own house. It's actually when I'm in a public urinal. Like, at work, I will wait until anybody leaves the restroom, and I will flush the urinal, like, five times, make sure the water's clear, it doesn't have an aroma, I just, I have to do it.

00:08:26 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 3:

Do you do it prior to peeing or after you pee?

00:08:32 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 1:

Actually, if I'm in there just to wash my hands, I will literally check and just see if, like, if there's still yellow in the urinal, I will compulsively flush it until it's gone, it's clear, usually five times exactly.

00:08:44 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 3:

Do people ever look at you weird, like when they're coming into the bathroom and you're still in there, like flushing away?

00:08:50 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I mean, I usually wait till everybody's gone. But I did have one time when somebody was stealth in the stall and came out and just kind of looked at me because I was flushing the three urinals that we had. And I just kind of was like, oh, OK, I'm finishing and then I'm leaving.

00:09:08 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Casey?

00:09:10 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 5:

Hello. Hi. um so the weird thing i do is i have to flush the toilet before i use it and then i have to flush it twice when i'm done and uh my husband was like why is our water bill 20 more this month

00:09:24 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 3:

so you actually do see it go up because i've not really checked the water bill to see if it

00:09:31 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 5:

happens yeah he's like why is it 20 more and i was like i don't know maybe the kids but it's me It's like I cannot, before I sit down, I have to flush, and when I get done, I have to flush twice. But I have to wait for it to completely do its cycle to re-flush it again. And I cannot sit down on the toilet until it finishes its cycle. So when I flush it before I use, I have to wait, and then I use the bathroom, and then I have to flush it twice.

00:09:54 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Wow, that's wild. I'm telling you, when you have a spouse that's sitting there listening to the flushes.

00:10:00 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 2:

it's embarrassing because you just want to say to them, I'm sorry, this is my OCD. What's going on, Shay?

00:10:06 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 7:

Hey, what's up? Second time today. I'm lucky. Stop saying.

00:10:10 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 1:

What do we have, no listeners today? How did we get you through on the phone line twice? Shay, all day. No, I'm just a great commenter.

00:10:17 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 6:

I mean, what can I do? Okay, all right, Shay.

00:10:20 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 1:

All right, I'll give that to you.

00:10:22 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 6:

So I have lots of things, but a big thing is I can't get out of the bed if it's not an even number. so if it's like 701 I have to wait to 702 like I only get out of bed on even numbers I didn't know that

00:10:35 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 1:

I see that. Do you set your alarms then at even numbers too?

00:10:39 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 6:

Yes, absolutely. Even if I'm taking a nap, anything like that, I cannot even if I need to be out by 715, I'll just round it up to like 16 like it has

00:10:49 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 2:

to be even. Isn't it wild that it takes forever then for the clock to tick to that next even number?

00:10:55 - 00:11:23 | Speaker 6:

you're laying there watching it like come on turn turn turn but how long have you been doing so long yeah a long probably like my whole adult life since i've been you know obviously your parents waking you up and stuff but yeah definitely my whole adult life even if i like you know randomly wake up you know what i'm saying how your body naturally wakes up and it's like and so i had it you know i didn't say it that one time and i like it's 601 like i'm gonna wait

00:11:23 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 2:

to 602 like i can't man that's wild that i you know what i could see that it would throw your day off otherwise what's up sarah how you doing good thanks how are you good i'm looking up here and i'm like oh my god i do this too sarah would tell everybody what you do i count everything

00:11:40 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 8:

yes i have to make sure everything is the right amount yes you know i have a cub unit and i have to count my baskets all the time to make sure i have enough baskets in there yeah my light switches I turn them off and I have to count them. I count my pictures on the wall. Like, I just have to count everything.

00:12:00 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 2:

And what is the, does the count have to add up for you, or you just count them? You just get them done, and once you're done counting, you're done.

00:12:07 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 8:

I'm done counting when I'm done.

00:12:09 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. See, the light switches part that's weird for me is I flick them on, flick them off, flick them on, flick them off, you know, three times. My count is always three. I have to do it three times.

00:12:19 - 00:12:23 | Speaker 8:

Three times, yeah. Yeah. I try to make everything even.

00:12:24 - 00:12:26 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Yeah.

00:12:26 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 8:

When I'm counting. Yeah.

00:12:28 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 2:

It's wild that, you know, these are all, listen, we all have OCD moments. And it's wild that we even talk about this.

00:12:35 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 4:

I don't.

00:12:36 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 2:

You don't have any?

00:12:36 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 4:

I can't think of one thing I do. I live in a constant state of chaos. And I mean, Lydia can attest to this. I constantly have just everywhere. I would leave my head here if it wasn't attached. You know what your OCD is?

00:12:49 - 00:12:56 | Speaker 3:

What is it, Kev? You have to eat the smelliest food. Yeah, that is true. That's not an OCD thing. That is true. Your food has to stay.

00:12:56 - 00:13:03 | Speaker 4:

I think everybody on this show can attest that I have no timeline. I constantly show up at the most randomest times with the most randomest food.

00:13:03 - 00:13:06 | Speaker 9:

You're at 5.15 a.m. and you're eating, like, pasta and meatballs.

00:13:08 - 00:13:21 | Speaker 2:

But it's not even so much, honestly, it's not even so much that you're, you know, the latent and all this stuff. Is there certain things that you have to, like, it has to match up? You don't have that at all? like where everything has to like look a certain way or have to be a certain way i mean i'm pretty

00:13:21 - 00:13:25 | Speaker 4:

like my space is like decorated a certain way but i wouldn't say it's have you ever been in bed

00:13:25 - 00:13:39 | Speaker 2:

at night and thought that you'd left the stove on and had to go back and then kind of like keep on see i do that all i have that fear all the time that i left to get you know the gas on or something like that and i have to go back and kind of like fidget with it a bunch what's up christy

00:13:39 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 9:

hello hi hey what's up i have uh so many ocds it's ridiculous but from starting with like going to the bathroom in public i always have to take one to two arm lengths of toilet paper and throw it out before i go to use any toilet paper because i know that's like one of the biggest germ catchers yeah um i wash my hands with like super hot water till my hands tingle so that's crazy um i don't let anybody like eat or drink after me yeah and my kids are ridiculous with that they like to like mess with me all the time they're like hey i'm thirsty can i have a sip right after i open my like pop or my water and they know that's like my biggest thing so then that's gone it's theirs it's just take it it's not mine i don't want no more can't touch it and i mean there's so many things see i always i'm listening to these things going yeah that's

00:14:26 - 00:14:37 | Speaker 2:

all sound normal that'll sound very rational um this is one that happens to you and maybe you don't think you have ocd but you might ash or alice when you go to a gas station what happens

00:14:38 - 00:14:44 | Speaker 7:

I have to go to an even number pump unless it's number one. Then I'll go to that. But I'll wait.

00:14:44 - 00:14:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wow.

00:14:45 - 00:14:55 | Speaker 2:

Mine is I have to go to one, three, or seven. And if I don't have one, three, or seven, I will wait for the pump to be done.

00:14:56 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, me too. But I like seven, too. One and seven. Other than that.

00:15:00 - 00:15:01 | Speaker 3:

It has to be an even number. I don't know why.

00:15:02 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 4:

I am not waiting. I always looked at these as like lucky numbers.

00:15:05 - 00:15:14 | Speaker 7:

I never looked at it as like an OCD thing. Alice, do you ever have to stop at the right amount? And if you don't get it to the right amount, you'll try to actually like go to the next number?

00:15:15 - 00:15:16 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yes. Yeah, for sure.

00:15:17 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 7:

Like if you're going to try to put down like, you know, $12 in gas in your car, which nobody does just $12 unless that's all they got in their pocket. But you do $12 and it goes to 1201. You're like, ah, then you got to go. And you go to the next one. Trying to click, click, click. Yeah, exactly. It throws you off.

00:15:33 - 00:15:37 | Speaker 3:

Well, I love your station. I listen to you every day. I'm trying to win that $1,000.

00:15:38 - 00:15:44 | Speaker 6:

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Melinda, is this your first time calling? This is Alice. Alice. Alice, is this your first time calling?

00:15:44 - 00:15:57 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Yeah, no, I've called before about when I got robbed at a shoe store I worked at when you guys were talking about crimes and stuff. Somebody had a boyfriend who I thought they'd think they were the criminal or something like that.

00:15:57 - 00:16:02 | Speaker 7:

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That was a while back. Why, were you going to do a first-time caller, a long-time listener for him?

00:16:02 - 00:16:03 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:16:03 - 00:16:15 | Speaker 7:

Do you know that I have to, when I do the thing, I have to hit it three times on the thing, too? Really? Yeah. I have to do it three times when I hit that thing. All right. It's just a weird thing. We're just weird people.

00:16:16 - 00:16:43 | Speaker 4:
