I know. Well, it was like a good morning. I was like, I don't even get a good morning like that from Chelsea sometimes. Although I will tell you this, man. It was great being off last week and waking up next to her. First off, let me say this to you. I woke up this morning. She was so ready for me to go to work. She was, like, ready. And, I mean, I swear to you, you know, it's like she's a beautiful, wonderful woman who has done so much for me over the years. But today was one of those days where she got up and she was like, hey, have a great day. You should probably go to work early. This might be a great opportunity for you. Hey, today's a big day, by the way. Today is a historic day. Today is Josiah's birthday. Yeah, my girl.

Hey, happy birthday. Is he 12? He is 12. He's 21. Oh, my gosh. He's not 12. Happy birthday, Joe. I love you. He is a 21-year-old inside of a 12-year-old little boy's body. Yes, he is.

So last night, so I called, I called Kevin, left a message and said, hi, is Josiah there? Could you please have him call me back? About 10 minutes later, Josiah calls, the phone rings. It's Kevin's phone. and i go hello and he goes hey tom how you doing so we had we had probably a 15 minute or 20 minute conversation chelsea's in the other room and chelsea goes who are you on the phone with and i said i was on the phone with josiah she goes that was not josiah she goes that sounded like you were on the phone with like a great she thought i was on the phone with jeff sackwell she's like it was so much fun and he's he's very excited about his birthday it sounds to me like He had a birthday weekend, which was good.

Yeah, that's what he asked for. And like the great father I am, I obliged his request.

Let's do this. This morning, and I don't know, Lydia put it on the board somewhere. Because I said, hey, well, where's your dad? I thought maybe I'd say hi to Kevin. Kevin, of course, had no time for me last night. You said he wanted to talk to Josiah, so I gave you what you wanted. I said, what's your dad doing? He's on Tinder. i want to tell i want to tell that story but i want to also tell the story of kevin your son knows way too much about you because he's like he's on he's on tinder but he only talks to girls on tinder wait what yeah that was literally josiah's that he knows his dad's on tinder and knows his dad's talking to girls because his dad must have explained that tinder also can be for people just to make friends.

Yeah, that's a particular setting that you can utilize if you want to. Did he see you on Tinder? Or why was he so inquisitive?

Do you want me to talk about this now? No, no, I want to talk about it later because I want to see what he was talking about. But yes, he did. I'd like to see if there's any way

we can talk about this before Josiah goes into class, because I'd like to wish him a happy birthday, but I'd like to know if Josiah can actually see the Tinder, too. Or, like, do you have

him swipe? Oh, no, no, we're not going that far. Well, you say it like, who would do that? And the answer is you. We might have different tastes.

Okay. Can I tell you guys a proud parent moment while we're talking? Here we are. Proud parent moment. Kevin's talking about his son, Josiah, who's 12 years old, knowing that he's on Tinder. It's a spectrum. Shannon and Megan and Kev, you know, you guys know, like, we are all blessed, right? We all have good jobs. Thank God. Knock on wood. Pray to, you know, Bob Pittman somewhere. But we all know that there are moments in our life that probably make us very, very proud. And there's moments that make our parents really proud. I had a moment happen to me that made me as a dad proud. do you guys remember and i don't know how it is for you with your dad scott mick you know or or tim uh murphy or mama kev when you guys go out do you guys pay for dinner yeah i try yeah yeah so i remember the first time ever i paid for my dad's my dad's dinner we were actually at a chinese restaurant orland park illinois called lang lee's and my dad loved this chinese restaurant and I grabbed the bill ahead of time like while I went up to go to the bathroom I did one of those I'm gonna go to the bathroom things and then gave the woman my credit card my dad cried we said he was so emotional about me paying because he that was like a moment for him you know I had a moment with Joe that was pretty wild so my Joe uh I was down in Florida hanging out with him we ended up going to a store called Golf Galaxy which is yeah a cheap knockoff version of Carl's Golf Land like carl's golf land is like the it's the tits um my god i can i can tell you've been hanging out with joe all week yeah yeah and and golf galaxy is just kind of like it's dick sporting goods basically it's the dicks it's the dicks so we're hanging out at uh at golf galaxy and we're doing a little bit of shopping and i decided you know i'm like picking up a couple things a shirt hat stuff like that and i was looking at oh this is kind of cool i tried on whatever and then i'm like i'm gonna put about you know i i had one of those things like i really don't need anything so i didn't buy it joe grabbed a couple of things you know he uh sat at the cash register and paid for it and i kind of like was off in the distance kind of on my phone doing some scrolling we get into his car he hands me the bag joe bought me what i was looking at and what i was trying to i i i literally started crying i'm sitting here in the passenger seat of of his chevy blazer and i am like like kind of getting emotional and i felt that moment like my dad did at lang lee's where i'm like man my kid's kind of done it you know what i mean like he kind of made it um because he's at you know putting his card down and paying for something and he's offered before to pay for some meals and he's paid for a bunch but i don't like when he does it and i because i just don't like you i don't like

any of you guys buying you know that's true i'm one of those people i just don't like it i don't know why that is i feel like you know i'm blessed i'm gonna i'm gonna pay it was such a cool moment it was honestly wild so if josiah is listening it is your birthday today but pull out money out

of the piggy bank and buy your dad something that's never gonna happen could you imagine

Maybe buy you some... What is the game he plays all the time? He can pay for Tinder for me because I'm not doing that. Oh, my gosh. It was so wild, guys. I cannot believe that I got emotional over something like that.

Oh, I would have shed some tears, too. I get that.

Isn't it insane, though, that as a dad, that was kind of like one of those moments.

It sounds like you kind of see your boy becoming a man. It really felt like that. You have these stages, I guess, and Josiah's only 12, and I don't have any older children. i'm sure once you see your children go off to high school that's a moment then you see them go off to college and they go out into the quote-unquote real world and you have a child that doesn't even live in the same state as you so you kind of see him develop and grow up but it's almost from a distance and then when you finally get that moment where it's in your face so to speak and he's paying for things like that has to feel like one of those moments it makes

you most emotional excuse me yeah it really does it would actually be nice if he would get off of

my verizon never you should have handed that bag back and been like you keep this and use it for

your bill your cell phone bill okay maybe if you pay part of this cell phone bill right it could be one-fifth of the bill that that i get every single month do you know my dad called me this weekend he

was like you went over on the verizon bill oh my god i did he used my hot spot too much

i told you that that that why is it that is all it is always joe so are you you're in your family

you're the uh the one that always goes over on your hot spot way too much and then i gotta pay the difference but i'm not paying the regular bill absolutely not and megan i don't even know

necessarily if it means that my bill is more expensive because my bill is always virtually the same it's within like a penny or two or something but it is wild when i go in to go why did it go up like you know 25 cents because our internet went out and we were too scared to

call and get on tech support and talk to somebody in person so i'll just hot spot from my phone

until it works again oh my gosh it is by the way i get that too you ever get the fears that you like anytime you have to call a tech support you got to sit there and wait on hold for the worst oh my god i actually saw a story over the weekend just totally you know random but it fits the the topic that we're talking about where hp the company hp is now in trouble they were making people wait 15 minutes on hold even if they didn't have to wait if there was somebody that was available because their goal was to get you to not call them their goal was to get you to go to the you know how they always say at the beginning we can do this for you by sending you a link so they got caught doing that by uh some of their employees i guess ratted them out on that deal which is good for them to do they want to keep their jobs yeah right yeah it's like

your son bought you a car old truck and um they bought my my son um said that you know my husband saw a new truck out in the in the driveway but he thought it was one of my son's like workers
