And I'm realizing that next year that break is done for me because Luke is graduating from high school. And, you know, he goes to a Catholic school. All the Catholic schools, they always give you that President's Week off. I love it because guess what? We went down to Florida, and it's not as crowded and crazy as it is if you go during the holidays or summertime because not every state has that break off. As a matter of fact, I don't think they even do that, right, in Ohio, that president's long week. So everybody I was running into was Michigan. Yes, Megan? Did they have that at all?

No, I just said no, I don't think so.

No, I think they give you, some schools do the, we'll give you a Monday and Tuesday off or Monday and Friday off. Honestly, the great thing is getting that whole week off. I love paying for my kids to go to school and to have them have time off. Yes, I want them to have time off.

So they can have a holiday break, midwinter break, and then spring break like three weeks later. Give me them all. I don't care.

I used to bother me all the time. When we first put the kids in Catholic school, I used to sit there and I was like my dad. i would get so grumpy and i'd be like they're off again and every time that there was a snow day and all that stuff i'm like come on i mean my kids are in public school and they got the whole week they got the whole week off too when are you learning yeah i know but now i don't even care i don't even care if they learn or not but um so we're down in florida and i gotta tell you guys a funny story so um luke chelsea and i every single night we would go to bed at a fairly late hour like we would we went we had like really a lot of fun like i didn't really see joe as much is I had liked for him to uh to you know to be seen but we stayed like 35 minutes away from where he lives so we kind of like we were more so in Clearwater and he is more in uh downtown Tampa

like that's kind of where he lives so at night we would say good night and then we would all go to bed well our 17 year old son one night decided that he was going to sneak out to hang with his new friends that he had met oh really yeah so this is actually kind of a funny story and i told him i would not call him because he says to me he goes you can talk about it because i had to ask for permission to talk about it you can talk about it but do not call me or he said you can talk about

it but do not call me i'm gonna be woken up or he didn't defend himself no because he didn't want

he feels embarrassed because then he goes to school and the kids say something to him okay so he ended up uh hanging out out with his buddy nico was there from school so and then nico there was a girl that was there really cute girl oh my gosh this girl was from rochester she was gorgeous

you didn't have to tell me that because if he's sneaking out i know there's a girl involved well

so he sneaks out of the of uh of the place and this is the funniest thing he sneaks out while chelsea and i are sleeping and i just assume you know i turn my phone off like not off completely but turn the volume off and and have it you know so i because i the only person i'm fully responsible for anymore is him right i you know the other two they're on their own i'll wait till the morning

now i want to get a good night's sleep right so as far as you're concerned he's asleep in the bed

next door yes so you don't have to worry about him so he leaves and this is where it gets a little sketchy and if you've ever snuck out of the house at night only to get yourself into trouble i want you to call up and i want you to share with us this story uh you can call us up here at the station or text us and we'll get you on so he leaves goes out has his fun you know with his friends until like two o'clock in the morning or 1 30 in the morning comes back tries to open up the door and he can't get it open because i did the emergency lock thing that automatically locks unless you unlock it so no key is going to get you into it to get into the uh to the room so he was calling our phone and he didn't want to pound on the door because he didn't want anybody else to hear him like people you know to hear him in other places right so he kept calling our phone calling our phone calling our phone there was i'm asked to woke up to like five or six missed calls chelsea had like 10 or 20 of them who knows so he ends up sleeping on the the the front doormat of the of the room so he ended up having to sleep overnight out there and the only way that i knew that luke was was gone was i could see my phone lighting up you know it wasn't vibrating because I turned all that off, and I see my phone lighting up, and I go, oh, my God, and Luke's ringtone is anaconda from

Mickey Minaj.

Are there people down the hall hearing

anaconda play? No, it wasn't on, but what happened was I turned it on, then Chelsea quickly wakes up and goes, is Luke okay? Because she knows that anaconda is his wake-up tone. My anaconda don't. And I go, Luke? And I thought he was in the toilet, and he didn't have toilet paper. You ever had that happen to you? Like you're staying in a hotel or whatever and you run out of toilet paper and i go what's going on and he's like i'm outside

that's how he sounds by the way if you haven't heard luke in a while and so he he was outside

so uh and he felt bad like he felt really bad but that was at six like almost six o'clock in the morning it was like 5 45. so he slept outside and he comes into the room and he's got on his face Like the imprint of the floor mat That was In front of the room Do you guys remember when you were kids Did you guys ever sneak out of the house

Yeah so unfortunately Being the delinquent that I used to be I was sneaking out a ton And so my dad decided to invest to put a security system on the house where you open up the door and it'll ding everywhere. I found a way around it, and I started sneaking out of the window in our kitchen. And one day I was coming back in in the middle of the night, and my dad caught me sneaking in through the window and at first thought that I was an intruder.

Almost scared the daylights out of him, but yeah.

Yeah, usually the security systems aren't to keep burglars out. It's to keep teenagers in.

This one, by the way, this is interesting because Luke snuck out and we were not home. We were on vacation. So that's a wild one, too, because I remember when we as kids, we actually traveled to the Wisconsin Dells. Have you ever been to the Wisconsin Dells before? I've never even heard of that. Wisconsin Dells is, I grew up in Chicago, so everybody from Chicago would go to Wisconsin Dells, kind of like how everybody in Michigan goes up north to northern Michigan. So Wisconsin Dells was like the place that you'd go to, and it was kind of like a cheesy little town and stuff. And I remember we snuck out and we started walking through town. And the ranger from the Wisconsin Dells guy busted us, put the flashlight in our eyes. Hey, kids, what are you guys doing? And he ended up driving us back to the hotel that we were staying at or the motel that we were staying at, which was great because I did not want to walk back. I was too lazy. Jeanette, hi. yes hi okay so i was 13 and we lived in this apartment complex and my mom always stayed on the third floor so i would um climb like i would sneak out and i would leave the balcony door open so i would climb back up the third floor of the balcony when i was coming back in well one time apparently she figured it out and she locked the slider door oh no so i had to sleep on the balcony oh yeah on the third floor until she woke up for work at like 5 40 in the morning that's a

I was in bed. We were all in bed, so I thought. And I get this knock on the door, and then my doorbell rings. He said, ma'am. And he had the girls come around the corner. He goes, they were underneath the pine tree in your backyard.

So, anyways, he was looking, and he found them underneath the pine tree.

And the next morning I went out, and lo and behold, so there were a bunch of bottles of booze underneath the train tree with them. We didn't find them, thank God, because then they would have got a PIP. Yeah.
