Shibuji was actually good on Thanksgiving, wasn't he? He was great. Yeah, it was actually so good to know that he gets up there, he performs, does it right, got into Detroit. People were excited. I saw the pictures, by the way, when we posted pictures of him and Eminem. People went off on social media about him. He was great. The game turned out to be great. I was a little bit worried, though, at how many injuries we have. I'm still worried about that. We have, like, the misfit toys now. We're picking up everybody's leftovers right now to piece together, guys. And we got Green Bay coming up here. I caught crap, by the way. Tell me if you think this is bad. So you were at the game, Kev. I went to the game, too. We went tailgated and stuff beforehand. And I scheduled that our Thanksgiving was going to be going, tailgating in the morning and then we were going to go to the game and then i made a reservation to go out later that night we weren't going to cook at all because we cooked the night before and we did thanksgiving night before it was i honestly it was my favorite thanksgiving that we've had probably since i had my entire family come to town i loved that thanksgiving for some reason even though it was a lot of dysfunction um i had like my brothers and sisters and families and all this stuff it was like too many people we didn't have enough toilets and things like it was bad. So, um, we're at the game and the game started not at normal, uh, one o'clock time. It started at 1230 on Thanksgiving. So I did the timing of it to figure that we could make a five o'clock reservation. Well, you know how you're at a game or you're at a concert. I don't like staying until the very, very end of anything because I don't like sitting or standing in a long line of people trying to get out of stadiums and i hate even more than that i hate being in the parking garage waiting for you know us to get to the bottom level depends on the artist but okay i won't do it like i will not stay for the encore presentations of concerts i usually am watching the encore presentations in the little like uh i'm hearing it as i'm walking out exactly oh you

couldn't pull me out of some concerts really no not even with a brief case full of cash you should

have seen me racing out of the taylor swift concert at ford field that i understand but if

you had me out of harry styles or bailey eilish i'm gonna be there can i ask a question yes were

your reservations downtown no they were out uh where you live they were out towards yeah west bloomfield okay so five o'clock reservation i'm thinking to myself games 12 30 12 31 31 32 33 okay i'm thinking four by the game the game will be over with it'll be first off we're playing the bears they suck you know what i mean they had lost five in a row i think at that point yeah and i'm thinking this game's over with and then the bear

Bears had to wake up and that Caleb, uh, what's his nuts? Williams, Caleb Williams.

No, I like what's his nuts.

Like they started making it a game and I'm like, are you kidding me? Like I was really getting pissed off a for that reason. B because my brother is a big bears fan. So he's kept sending me text messages. You're going to blow it. You guys are going to blow it. And this would have made the bear season, bear fan season if they could beat the lions.

Yeah.

So I'm like getting pissed off. So I say to everybody, hey, guys, we got to get your stuff. After this next play, we're getting out of here. You should have seen the look on Luke's face.

How much time is left when you are saying this?

Okay, so it was probably the – okay, J-Mo gets that horrible penalty.

When he threw the ball in the guy's face.

When he threw the – yeah, I couldn't see what he did, but I knew that he got a penalty. And I didn't see that the guy tripped him or anything. Doesn't make a difference. If J-Mo doesn't get that penalty, we're golden because they're going to score in that one, and the game's over with. At that point, we deflate the Bears. Right after that, I said, all right, guys, after this next drive, and it was the Bears' drive, we're out of here. And then finally I'm like, oh, crap. They're going to, like, go to overtime. Yeah. And we're going to be, is it bad to leave? Do you look at me bad that I leave early? Did you and Steve Gabara stay the whole time? Hell, yeah.

You're an a-hole if you try to leave early. I'm just going to flat out tell you. Really? That's why Luke was – you're crazy. Luke was so mad. When you commit to go to a game, you commit for that full experience. Yep. Don't have me – and – oh, my God. The fact that – I'd be so mad. Oh, my God. I would have been so mad. And the fact that I could see if we were blowing them out. Like, then I would give you a little leeway because it was, like, 23 to, like – it was a blowout. And in the second half of the game, as they're coming back, you see the comeback and you still want to leave. You have no heart.

At one point, I was, like, saying, hey, if we score a touchdown here, can we not even do the Lion's Roar song? Like, can we just, like, move on? Come on, guys. We've got to fast-forward this thing. Shannon, you and I are so built the same way. Yeah, I am. Like, we are, like, get me out of here.

I have a reservation. If you're a reservation. No, what really gets me is going back to, like, the concerts and stuff like that. Like, I cannot stand to be in the parking garage as everybody's just winding around so slowly. I would rather miss the last two songs. But that's when you turn on

You go home. Please. We don't work downtown. Get a hotel room downtown. Walk to your hotel. I want my head.

Do you know that I've been told by my son that I'm never allowed to go to another Lions game ever? It's a wrap.

Or we're not driving together.

That would be my deal. I said to him, I go, why don't you just Uber home? He goes, I don't have money for Uber.

That's a long Uber.

Yeah, for sure.

That's an expensive Uber.

That is not even fun.

If you're going to leave from the very end, like, you know, good and well, something could happen. I'm disappointed in you.

But you understand that we had a reservation and it was Thanksgiving. You cannot miss a Thanksgiving reservation.

That would have been mean. Then you should have either said, hey, we have this to go to or I'll make it up to you later. But the fact that you committed to a game, you can't do that.

Yeah, I don't know. I feel like if Dan Campbell had a reservation after the game, he would have probably, you know, made his reservation.

He's buying kneecaps.

He doesn't need a reservation. Put back your reservation.

Yeah, I thought to myself, I'm like, okay, maybe half of us could leave and go to the reservation. I was afraid that they were going to, like, say no, because it's a hard day to get a reservation, too.

Yeah, I don't know.

I was invited to go to the next game, and I promised I would not leave early because the person that invited me told me I can't leave early. And so what I decided was I'm either going to sleep here at the radio station or I'm going to stay at Megan's house on Thursday night.

It looks like you're sleeping at the radio station. Weird. Because unless you invite me to that game as well, then you have a bed to stay at.

It's not my ticket. I don't have the extra ticket.

I don't have an extra bed all of a sudden.

Actually, the funniest was we were going to contact Steve Gabara and Kev who were at the game together and see if they could drive home half the people that were there.

Steve could have fit people in his car.

How long did it take you to get out?

Honestly, it was the fastest.

drive to the stadium. There was no one on the roads. That was very surprising. I thought it'd be crowded for the people.

Because everybody was there early on the parade, the turkey trot, and maybe parking work. Okay.

It was going to be bad, so they went early. Even the way home, though. It was literally no traffic. I don't think we missed our light. It was fantastic. People went out.

There were so many things to do in the city that day. It was so much fun.

It was great.

It was like the worst, though. It's like, just end this game early. I will say this, though.

I'm not one of those people that as soon as they ... And I did it with Steve, but typically if I go to a concert or an event where there's a lot of people, once it ends, I don't get right up and stand in the line. I'm the type of person that waits until they start cleaning up and then they tell me to leave because I'm waiting for everybody to get out of the line.

So what are you doing then when you're just hanging there?

I'm just sitting down chilling. Like at a concert. Just sitting down chilling.

See, I'm different than you. You know what I do? I actually cut across aisles to look up and see like which way is going to get me out faster. When I get to a place, you know, some people look at where the fire exits are. like you know how they say that in movies look around to see what's going on i look around to see who's going to be the slow ass person that's going to keep me in my seat like i do that and when i park at places like even when we went to the movies the other day we went to the movies in birmingham i parked my car in a position where i didn't have to like wait in a parking garage i was like no i'm not fomo i have fear of being stuck i'm glad i'm bringing this patient there

has to be rules okay say for example you're at a lions game and you're the in seat if you're waiting for people to move right it's okay for you to go it's okay there has to be a maximum amount of people that you allow from your row to exit before it's my turn to go if you're there okay so say you're the row behind me right so the row behind you get to exit first yep yep you don't allow your entire row to get out if they're not ready to get out you know you allow people to walk through say Go ahead, go ahead, go ahead.

Oh, as soon as there's a space, as soon as there's a lull, I go.

It should be one, it should be like everybody rotate. Yes, I go, you go.

No, it should be like airplane rules, the ones that we all know we should do that nobody does. And if you're at the back of the bowl and your seats are terrible, I'm sorry for you. You get to leave first. That is the joy of getting a terrible seat in the bowl is I get to get out and beat the traffic. Now, you got 50-yard line front row seats.

You're telling me that people in first class on an airplane are going to sit there and wait for you to get off?

No, no, no. An airplane should be first class. Like, whoever is closest to the exit goes. But everybody grabs their bag, stands up, and then crowds the aisle and it drives me up a wall.

That's the dumbest thing you could possibly do. And you're not getting past me unless you run because I'm just going to stand there and block you.

But I think if you're, like, at a concert or a game, people in the back get to get out first. That is the perk of getting a terrible ticket.

You better be ready to go. I one time had a lady that was so upset because I wouldn't let her husband out. I'm like, we've just let 12 people out of the side. It's not my fault that you guys are too slow getting in and out of there. He's got to be up ready. We got to get out of here.

Also, let a group be a group. I hate when I'm leaving and somebody cuts it in between me and the four people I'm with. I will lose a ride.

Why are the four people you went not ready to go, though?

No, no, no. We're on the stairs. Somebody is not on the stairs. And then they force their way in the middle of the group out. Get out of here.
