shannon's got to tell this story so so first off for any kid or any uh parent of a kid who has ever had to deal with their kid in any kind of thing like little league t-ball uh or trying to get them to you know wake up to go to summer camp you will relate to shannon's the yesterday was the

00:01:50 - 00:03:43 | Speaker 3:

finale or this weekend was the finale yeah i do not think that my eight-year-old smith is going to wimbledon anytime soon forever ever this child he had his final tennis tournament he's been playing tennis since school uh ended which he's actually pretty decent especially for being eight years old but they had like a uh i don't know were you like he played four different little games and so i'm sitting there i i'm so excited to go watch him because i haven't really seen him matches you can tell that i was not a tennis player at all um so his his first match i'm sitting there and if you've never been to a tennis match it's very quiet yeah as everybody is watching you know the the players play in this case these little eight-year-olds play and so it's so quiet and smith's playing and all of a sudden i hear him go from the court mom trying to make eye contact with you so you can get me the heck out of here he's on the court saying this and i'm like oh my god i just ignore like you know ignore ignore and then a couple minutes go by and i don't understand what this means so somebody please inform me but the score was six seven. That's good. And this is a thing where he keeps going six, seven. This is a kid. I think it might be a sexual thing. I don't know what it means, but everybody starts dying laughing. The girl who is reffing the game starts dying laughing. A couple more minutes go by and he goes, can we please get this thing moving so I can go home and watch YouTube? And at that point, he has three more matches to go and I'm like this child is not going to survive the afternoon. Nor do I

00:03:43 - 00:03:47 | Speaker 5:

think he should play tennis were you were you a tennis player growing up is that why he put him

00:03:47 - 00:03:51 | Speaker 3:

in tennis no i was a nothing player his dad put him in tennis oh really i don't even know if his

00:03:51 - 00:04:00 | Speaker 5:

dad was a tennis player it's do you guys put him in activities and in loosing activities just so that you guys don't have to have them at home sitting on the couch because they're in a lot

00:04:00 - 00:04:10 | Speaker 3:

of activities don't they swim too well they swim but swim season is ending this weekend okay and now that was the end of tennis so now they have nothing oh good they have nothing for another

00:04:10 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 5:

five weeks until school starts but what is i i'm trying to google what is the sexual reference i

00:04:15 - 00:04:27 | Speaker 3:

have it might not be sexual i don't know but everybody's like i mean i know 69 but somebody tell me because he won't he's like mom you won't understand you won't understand

00:04:27 - 00:04:39 | Speaker 6:

do kids make noise i know you said it's a quiet sport like when i think of tennis i just think of the williams sisters going yeah every time they hear do kids do that too is a lot of that going

00:04:39 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 3:

on uh not really no i don't think they're hitting the ball i don't think they're hitting the ball hard enough i gotta hear pain but the kid he played his first match against just smoked him and so he kept going 16 to 2 21 to 2 and i'm like who who is this little twerp playing

00:05:00 - 00:05:04 | Speaker 4:

against smith and it turns out it was a friend of mine's son she came over to me she's like good

00:05:04 - 00:05:12 | Speaker 2:

match good game i'm like oh it was your kid didn't uh smith also not enjoy baseball oh my god baseball

00:05:12 - 00:05:26 | Speaker 4:

yeah was it was like it was he basically like sang kendrick lamar songs to himself on third base and drew in the dirt and blew dandelions the whole time so that was the last of that last season we

00:05:26 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 2:

took him out of that i not his sport i believe every parent can relate to this and i don't know if you guys ever want to share with us like what it was that your kid just hated but you made him finish because you just didn't want him to be quitting and be a quitter you know what i mean like that was like your your thing but for for us it was t-ball like nobody liked t-ball not even luke who played you know travel baseball eventually liked t-ball um and it's painful as a parent to sit there and watch well no it's embarrassing as a parent it's not painful it's embarrassing because you're there going that's my kid out on the field in center field picking dandelions you know um and then the the the funniest uh god who is it i think it was joe or joe was in scouts and joe we had a scouts thing and i think it was the uh was it the box something derby whatever the hell it is soapbox derby yeah and we had the soapbox derby he came in dead last place and that was after i went on the air and solicited for a person who makes cars from the big three to help me make mine that's so ours was dead last it was the it was honestly one of the best bits i've ever done the problem was the guy that did it for me he worked for general motors he our car looked great it was unbelievable like it had all the functionality it did not have the fun what's

00:06:41 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 3:

going on mateo what's happening hey so i called to talk to shannon um i gotta tell you so six six seven is not anything sexual oh thank you jesus in the clear you know it is more of that gen alpha brain rock as i've been told by my little sister who keeps walking around and keeps looking at me and does the six seven and i just i don't get it i don't get it either but i know it was some guy some guy on the internet and then magically all these little gen alpha kids are saying it oh okay really at least it doesn't make me look like a bad oh that's what it that's what it is so yeah same thing do you remember the uh the italian brain rot the ballerina cappuccino

00:07:21 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 4:

and all that see i know i don't know oh yeah oh no we gotta know it's way different stuff

00:07:29 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 2:

hold on a second i don't know if this is

00:07:31 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 3:

Make sure that they're talking to each other and stuff like that. Oh! Basically, it's cool.

00:07:35 - 00:07:36 | Unknown:

Oh! Oh! Oh!

00:07:37 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 3:

What's this?

00:07:38 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 2:

What's this?

00:07:39 - 00:07:43 | Unknown:

He ate the clip! He ate the clip! Are you kidding me?

00:07:44 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 2:

My. I was trying. There was audio. I'm Googling right now on YouTube. Six, seven. Of six, seven. Hold on.

00:07:51 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 3:

That's one of the most popular members on RWE. That's Taylor Kinney. At a ten, our aura is like a six. No, who took my sandwich? Six, seven.

00:07:59 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 2:

hold on that's so stupid yeah i was trying to figure out i wanted the six but like i'm sitting

00:08:05 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 4:

on the is it i don't even know if it's sideline i'm sitting on the you're in you guys i'm in the stands i don't know i was sitting in a chair it was not stands but i'm going please god please god don't let this be inappropriate and all the other parents are looking at me judging me

00:08:17 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 1:

what's going on michelle well i have to agree with you about the t-ball thing i had two boys 13 months apart put them in t-ball and it was downright torturous not only for the boys but for myself they didn't like it they rolled around in the field they picked dandelions they even took off and went running around to other fields i had to go capture them and bring them back yeah

00:08:45 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 2:

absolutely torture yeah it is yeah that was that yeah what oh what by the way i coached t-ball I wanted to let you know, thank you for letting me babysit your kids for about six weeks. You think it's tough to be a parent watching your kid play T-ball? Imagine when you got to watch nine kids, ten kids play T-ball. I don't know how you did it. Oh, it was brutal. We were the muck dogs. That was our team. It started with the name. It was a minor league team name that we had. It was Dalio from here. And it was Craig Myers and I doing it. Oh, God. Craig, can you imagine Craig? Craig would show up there and he'd be wearing his Louis Vuitton shoes. I would be like, I'd look at him and I'd go, you got Louis Vuitton gym shoes on and we're going on a field. He's like, I know, I came from work. Who wears Louis Vuitton tennis shoes? You know what I mean?

00:09:33 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 4:

Did you just say tennis shoes?

00:09:35 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 2:

Tennis shoes, exactly. I hate college. All right, well, you know what? First off, you're a spectacular mother that you have to put up with that. That's a lot. And there's a lot of activities. Holy crap. I said this with you. Your kids, man. And your kids have, count the sports, they do swimming and tennis and stuff like that in the summer. Lacrosse.

00:09:58 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 4:

Lacrosse in the Fallen Springs.

00:09:59 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

He's playing baseball.

00:10:00 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 4:

still right heck no that stopped last year okay i think lucy's doing a crochet class

00:10:05 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 5:

no that's it but they swim year round we had it so that's a lot we had a friend of ours kid she put him in so many different things it was the funniest uh joke in the family was if she made it to three so we used to say to her did your kids make it to three so cameron was one of the kids names and we'd go did cam make it to three and she's like no not today we'd go to the JCC for, like, activities and stuff like that. And you're, Cam ran out.

00:10:33 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 6:

I was like... What's the JCC?

00:10:35 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 5:

Jewish Community Center. The sporting... You and her, West Bloomfield, they would go play basketball. They were little pickup games. I would play every now and again. I was...

00:10:43 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 6:

With the old mud hens? No, no, no, no. Mud dogs? Muck dogs?

00:10:47 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 3:

Muck dogs?

00:10:48 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 6:

I did...

00:10:49 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 3:

Muck bangs? I don't know what the heck the team name was. No, no, no.

00:10:52 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 6:

No, you don't want to muck bang. Don't be muck banging.

00:10:54 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 4:

Muck bang's not bad. That's the real C7.

00:10:56 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 6:
