With War of the Roses here on this show, I'm catching cheaters. I always find it really interesting to go back and look at past War of the Roses that we've had and just see kind of how these people ended up together and we've done this in the past where we kind of went through war of the roses and found out that majority of the people that are cheating are usually cheating with somebody from their work there is a study that was just recently done and it was a study about statistically this is who your person that you're in a relationship with will probably have an affair with. Okay. So statistically who would be the person that they would have an affair with? And I actually was way off on some of these. I was actually kind of shocked by these. And actually one of them was almost kind of disgustingly crazy of where they would cheat or who they would meet with. Coworkers is the most popular. 36% of affairs have a coworker as a mistress or the other man or other woman. More likely, you cheat when you are with a coworker that you do travel with. So if they do business travel, they're more likely to actually cheat in that situation. also the further the distance that you work from your home the more likelihood that you have that

00:03:48 - 00:03:52 | Speaker 5:

you could cheat is that just because you're you may be staying at a hotel or something instead

00:03:52 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 2:

of going home after a long day or what well i think that part of it might be i'm just guessing on this because they don't go through the reasonings why on this i'm guessing that the further that you're away the more places you have opportunities to so it not so much necessarily is because you stay at places like hotels but it just means that you got less likelihood of bumping into you know your your wife or or uh husband um this was a kind of a wild one um beware of your ex 21 of men 32 of women who have had affairs ran into an old relationship that sparked something back up so it's the past relationships that was a high number of cheaters that would happen. So beware of an ex. Coworkers aside, the next most likely affair partners have, a complete stranger. 18% of affairs started as the people met as complete strangers. With many of...

00:05:00 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 1:

them just meeting at a local establishment that will be an establishment that you would go to with your relationship so it'd be that you met somebody in a place that not necessarily do they go to by themselves but they probably have been with with you um here's in one 17 of all affairs happen with a brother-in-law or sister-in-law oh what that was the part that kind of got me It might be due to something called the proximity effect. The more that you are around the person, the more likable and attractive they are to you. Additionally, since they are siblings to the person that they married, they also might have a taboo side about them. And you might find that kind of a sexy thing to get together. Okay, who has cheated with a brother-in-law or sister-in-law or somebody in the family like that? You got to call us up. I want to hear those stories because those stories will be crazy. Only 10% of men have had an affair with partners online. Online affairs you would think would be higher than that. I'm kind of surprised by that. Of the online affairs, around 40% of them have turned into real-life affairs. So online affairs meaning that you're just talking to them or flirting with them electronically, But then all of a sudden you end up going face to face and 14 percent of all men in America have paid for sex. That's the person that they've had sex with because everybody thought that this last war of the roses. The guy was that this person is a is a prostitute escort. Yeah. Yeah. Whoever that that person is. And here's a here's a big one. 42% of all people caught in affairs would call the affair partner a good friend. So they would actually say that the person was a platonic friend at first, somebody that they actually just had as a friendship base, and then next thing you know, they were naked from the waist down and actually doing some sort of thing that they shouldn't be doing in front of somebody. Wow. Which one is the most surprising to you? Is it the brother-in-law, sister-in-law? Yeah.

00:07:24 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:07:25 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 1:

When I heard that one out of all of them, all I kept thinking to myself the entire time was, we've done War of the Roses in the past, where it was cheated with the sisters and stuff like that. Yep. We didn't do a lot of cheated with the brothers. It was kind of like he cheated with her sister. So watch your sisters. Daisy?

00:07:50 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 3:

Hello.

00:07:51 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 1:

How are you doing?

00:07:52 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 3:

It's not. I'm good. How are you guys?

00:07:54 - 00:07:56 | Speaker 1:

Good. What's going on? It's not what?

00:07:58 - 00:08:07 | Speaker 3:

It's not me who did the cheating. So we're just going to put that out there. It was one of my friends. She cheated on her boyfriend, not with a brother, but with the dad.

00:08:07 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 1:

Oh, geez. Wow, that's even bigger than a brother-in-law, sister-in-law.

00:08:11 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 3:

How did you guys find out about that? She told me. She was kind of like a little bit proud of it. I don't know how, but she was like, yeah. So me and the father, I'm like, oh, no, you didn't. She's like, yeah, we did. And went on for, she was with him for five years before that happened. And then with both of them for like a year and a half. And then now with none of them. Oh, no.

00:08:35 - 00:08:36 | Speaker 1:

Wow.

00:08:36 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 3:

So I don't know if it was a phase or just like you said, it was just that attraction just because they were around each other a lot.

00:08:43 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:08:43 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 3:

I have no clue.

00:08:44 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 1:

Did you ever get a chance to see what the father-in-law looked like? to see if he was actually a good-looking guy?

00:08:50 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I've been around both of them, and the father is a little bit better looking.

00:08:56 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 1:

Than the son?

00:08:58 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

00:08:59 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 1:

Wow. That's wild. Watch your dad. Angie, what's happening? Hi. Hi. Angie lived this. Angie, what happened in your past relationship?

00:09:12 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 2:

Well, my ex-husband is now married to my sister. stop it how did that how did that start well to be honest i think it started long before i realized it because i possibly have a nephew that um is his son and that was four years before i even

00:09:35 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 1:

had any clue so you say you possibly you've never asked for dna proof or any of that

00:09:41 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 2:

no it's not even at this point in time i don't even care anymore um how did you discover it never wanted what's that how did you discover it well honestly there was a a weekend and it's been um 13 years ago now but there was

00:10:00 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 6:

the weekend things just seem kind of funny and so i finally asked him about it and he told me that he

00:10:05 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 8:

doesn't love me anymore and he has feelings for my sister oh geez holy cow wow um that's not even

00:10:13 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 6:

the best part he also cheated with my dad's wife at the time where do you guys live i've always

00:10:21 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 8:

just had assumptions. Fostoria.

00:10:25 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 5:

No way.

00:10:26 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 8:

Okay. Megan, can you tell us about Fostoria?

00:10:29 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 5:

Fostoria is too small for somebody to be playing that many games with one family.

00:10:33 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, he played games with everybody in the town, apparently. I was going to say, did everybody know? I don't know. There was an incident at a family get-together that I should have made, you know. I mean, I was so stupid and so naive that I just didn't know it.

00:10:51 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 8:

all that sucks wow so the family you know get-togethers are never the same anymore right

00:11:01 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 6:

you guys don't get together we well the funny thing is is um i'm very close to my nieces and nephews i have five of them and um so when they were younger we got together for the holidays because i wanted to be with them now that everybody's a little older in that it's more I spend time with the kids and not the adults, but...

00:11:25 - 00:11:29 | Speaker 8:

Wow, so you guys still get together with your sister who's with your ex?

00:11:30 - 00:11:32 | Speaker 6:

Not anymore. Okay.

00:11:32 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 8:

But you see her kids every now and again? Yes. Okay. Well, that's nice. You're a nice aunt. That's big of you to do that and not take it out on the kids. Tiffany?

00:11:43 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 7:

00:12:17 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 8:

I love your daughter's grandma And they all lived in Fostoria together?

00:12:25 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 7:

They all lived in Fostoria They used to hang out and do family Things together The whole night and when her mom would get drunk She would say stupid stuff like You're just mad that he loves me more than you And that was Truth It was true But yeah It was a mess

00:12:46 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 8:

Wow.

00:12:47 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 7:
