Modo Casino. America's social casino. Mojo in the morning show. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. Tax 95500. And so yesterday, I went to Planet Fitness and did not take a picture and post it on social media like Reese does all the time. I can make fun of him. He's not in here right now.

00:02:09 - 00:02:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Some would say mentioning it on the air is the audio version of taking a picture. It's much better.

00:02:14 - 00:03:39 | Speaker 4:

That's why I'm bringing it up on the air. It gets a little bit more people to see it. So but so so I go and I've been trying to be consistent with how, you know, how I'm working out and stuff. And my workouts are very simple. It's honestly it's just me going just getting some activity and getting some cardio in. I notice a very interesting gentleman show up and I'm going to call this guy Mr. Rogers. And here's the reason why I'm going to call him Mr. Rogers. He's like maybe 50 ish, late 50s. He comes to the gym, he gets on a treadmill just a few away from where I am, in his clothes. And he's Mr. Rogers to me because he was dressed like Mr. Rogers. He had the sweater on. The cardigan? Yeah, well, it wasn't a cardigan. It was like Mr. Rogers used to always have the cardigan. It was a pullover sweater with the, what do they call those, the button-up shirts that have the collars that have the buttons on them or something? I know they have something. oxfords or i don't know maybe something like that and he had that on and he had on gym shoes so he was wearing gym shoes and but here's the thing he changed into his gym shoes while he was getting ready to go up on the treadmill he sat down for a second kind of had his shoes there put his uh his you know gym shoes down and you know how mr rogers would do that at the beginning of the show

00:03:39 - 00:03:44 | Speaker 3:

it was like on the bench oh yeah just change his sweater and his sneakers yeah it's a beautiful

00:03:44 - 00:03:46 | Speaker 4:

day in the neighborhood. A beautiful

00:03:46 - 00:03:48 | Speaker 3:

day for a neighbor. He raised me as a

00:03:48 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 4:

child. And I'm watching this thing and I'm going, this is Mr. Rogers and he didn't have here we go. So he walks in, sits down, puts his gym shoes right next to him, sits down and then remember Mr. Rogers used to pick one up at a time and he'd like throw him to his other hand and stuff. Here he goes.

00:04:10 - 00:04:14 | Speaker 5:

It's a beautiful day at the Planet Fitness neighborhood. A beautiful day

00:04:14 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 4:

for Planet Fitness won't you be mine won't you be my neighbor and he got right on the treadmill in his full-on clothes and I saw that and I thought to myself I'm like man this guy is a genius I had to go home and actually change and then drive up there I could have gone all the way home I could have worked out right in my style do you know people that do this are there any people that actually go and they work out in their clothes and then go right maybe they go even right back to work because he walked out of that place wearing the same old clothes he put his coat back on was he stink i don't know he was not first off like i was on for 18 minutes or so and then i kind of like stuck around for a little bit and i tried to do one of those

00:05:00 - 00:05:04 | Speaker 1:

I can't do the things. Those are brutal. That's the thing that makes me sweat like on.

00:05:04 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 4:

Your buns will burn.

00:05:05 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 1:

You know.

00:05:06 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 4:

So it's funny you say that. So I was on the stair climber the other day when I was at Planet Fitness. And a kid, first of all, there was nobody else on any of the stair climbers. And he comes and uses the one right next to me. Which I always hate. But okay, that's fine. But he was wearing, I didn't even, I think he was wearing a sweatshirt. He was wearing like gym, like jersey shorts. You know what I'm talking about? but then he had on like regular slouchy tube socks and slip-on vans like i know some people wear flat vans or converse to lift weights but this was like i wonder how much support you get i don't know i just thought it was so i kept looking down and i'm like that cannot be

00:05:45 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 1:

comfortable for you and it's and it's funny because i don't like try to dress like a fashion show when i'm going uh i mean i look you know i'm you know in a i was in a pair of shorts actually was in a you know pair of shorts and uh in a sweatshirt and stuff but there are people there are some people that take it to one extreme like they'll dress like amazing you know they got their leggings on and all that stuff and they look you know with makeup and stuff and then there's mr rogers who mr rogers is like in his sweater like i felt like underdressed i felt like i was like not appropriate for going into uh to work out at planet fitness oh by the way somebody was asking me they said somebody's texting said uh mojo is is uh is he ethnic and i i think he is maybe this is something because i think i could guess he's probably either a chaldean guy or like a an albanian guy that's what he kind of uh kind of looked like i was thinking that too because

00:06:41 - 00:07:03 | Speaker 2:

whenever i see people dressed up to exercise it's usually like an older gentleman who's who's of Arab or Arab American descent like same with shoveling the driveway when I drive through the neighborhood and I see an older guy out shoveling is always like a Chaldean guy who's 70 but he's in his really nice dress shoes and a sweater like he just came from work do you guys remember me

00:07:03 - 00:07:14 | Speaker 4:

telling you the story of the man in my neighborhood who mows his lawn in his dress shoes khaki pants like his his whole work outfit and that's how he mows the lawn this gave me a little bit of anxiety

00:07:14 - 00:07:18 | Speaker 1:

thinking that I was underdressed? Does that do that for you if you see the guy dressed like that?

00:07:19 - 00:07:20 | Unknown:

No.

00:07:20 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 4:

I just would think he's so, right, he's so uncomfortable and wherever he's going after this, he's going to stink a little bit.

00:07:26 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 1:

Well. If he got a good workout in. The other thing too is I thought he doesn't have to wash a lot of clothes. Like Chelsea gets on me for how much laundry that I leave. Like she's like, how many times a day are you changing your clothes? This is a guy that obviously only needs to change his clothes, you know, once a day. Go home and put on his comfy clothes. Um, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-654. Are there any listeners of ours that either them or a family member, like, dress up to go do something that we would be like, why are you dressed up to go do something like that? Like, why is that? Like, I always love it when, you know, you'll talk to, like, my aunt is one of those people. She gets, like, Christmas masks dressed up to go to the doctor's office. Like, she gets, like, and does it. Like, she's got beautiful earrings on and all this stuff. And I'm like, you've got to put on one of those, you know, crazy gowns for your doctor. But she's like, I want to look good. She wants to make sure that she looks good for her dog.

00:08:26 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 4:

It's all about feeling a certain way, too. You feel good when you're dressed nice.

00:08:31 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 1:

Here's the thing. I think it's mainly that generation, though. Because I just don't think that. Yeah.

00:08:35 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 4:

Well, because we talked about airplanes. About how back in the day, people used to dress up. That was a really big, special thing to go on an airplane. I mean, I can remember my mom dressing us. We didn't go on an airplane very often, but when we did, she dressed us very nicely. And now we all just go for cozy, you know, comfy. Pajamas and Crocs.

00:08:53 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 2:

Ask your parents, ask your grandparents what they used to wear on Sundays to go shopping at Hudson's. Oh, my gosh. They used to put their Sunday best on.

00:09:00 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 1:

I went to Red Robin with Chelsea and Luke, and there was a table right next to us where the kids were all in their pajamas.

00:09:07 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 4:

They were probably my kids. They love wearing their pajamas out to dinner And whatever

00:09:12 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning, hello

00:09:14 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 3:

It's my mother You are talking about my mother My mother dresses up For every single occasion I'm talking heels in the grocery store Parent teacher conferences She's fully, fully dressed

00:09:28 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 1:

Man, oh man She looks hot going off to Go grab some milk Or carton of eggs over at Meijer, huh?

00:09:37 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

The fact that she dresses up everywhere and i still don't have a stepdad i have a problem hey what's up marlene hey good morning i had an older aunt that always wore high heels and she i'd see her i'd come over i'd see her up on a step ladder she would be cleaning her front windows so if i

00:10:00 - 00:10:20 | Speaker 9:

she retires i never said anything till i got older she moved to florida we're at the beach and she still has high heels on at the beach at the beach and i looked at her and i was old enough and i i felt i could handle it she i said have you always worn high heels to the beach

00:10:20 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 5:

and i got the stare down uh-oh doesn't she sink in like to the to the sand uh yeah and they were

00:10:29 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 9:

white wow that's wild she was in her 80s had the most beautiful calf because she always wore heels

00:10:38 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 5:

oh yeah sexy legs all right what's going on uh lisa hi good morning what's going on lisa

00:10:45 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 7:

oh i just wanted to say that i think it is a generation thing because both my parents are in their mid-70s and even as kids they would dress up like they were going to a wedding to go to the doctors and we would just dress like bums and even now they dressed up and i'm like where are you guys going they're like to the doctors i'm like it looks like you're going to

00:11:04 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 5:

a wedding yeah it's kind of cute it is cute and it's funny because we barely like put clothes on right i mean it's like i didn't even put underwear on to go to the doctors i know they'll be taking

00:11:14 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 6:

them off rebecca hi hey what's happening um so i'm a single mom and i use i come from a small town and moved from one small town to another and so the first small town i kind of grew up in i was really comfortable um i kind of just like dressed like the typical walmart people because i didn't go out very often especially during the winter and then um when i relocated i actually had an internship that i worked briefly but i'm still a stay-at-home mom but i have a lot of nice like suit clothes from marshall's and stuff um and i used to like when i would drop my kids off from cool or stop at like westco or whatever um i people would act a lot differently so every time i go out in public now i always do my hair and a full face of makeup and i'm always in my nice clothes and people just like treat me completely just like that is interesting yep that and and

00:12:08 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 3:

you're right you're i i'm sure you're right that you get treated very very differently because you're not just in like sweatpants hair and a top knot and yeah yeah yeah that's you know what

00:12:19 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 5:

That's pretty awesome. So, yeah, I guess if you got the clothes, you might as well wear them, right?

00:12:24 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 6:

Right, exactly.

00:12:26 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning Show. Adrienne? Yes. Hi. Hey, what's up?

00:12:33 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 8:

Hi. So I always overdo. I get dressed up. I get my hair done, my makeup done, and then I go to the Secretary of State and I take my new photo. I've always hated, like, when my photos are terrible. So I always go prepared. And people always say, oh, my gosh, you have a beautiful driver's license. And they don't really know what goes into making it a beautiful license. So that's what I pretty much do. But when I go in there, it's hilarious. People are looking at me like, where is she coming from?

00:13:02 - 00:13:07 | Speaker 5:

You know what? I guess your driver's license photo is going to last for a long time. You have it for a while.

00:13:07 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 8:

You got it, right? Exactly, exactly.

00:13:10 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 5:

It's funny because I look at my driver's license photo, and it was almost like I didn't even realize I was taking a photo that day.

00:13:16 - 00:13:21 | Speaker 3:

I am so pregnant in mine. I've had it for so many years. I cannot wait to get a new one.

00:13:22 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 5:

Hey, have a great day. We'll see you, okay?

00:13:24 - 00:13:25 | Speaker 3:

You too.

00:13:25 - 00:13:25 | Speaker 5:

All right, bye.

00:13:26 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 4:
