All right, it is Mojo in the Morning Show. Five Lies Tell Your Moms coming up here in just a little bit. But new member of the show, Kev, in with us today. And when we were talking about some things to bring up on today's show, Kev brought up that he got very upset because something happened to his food that he bought. So what's going on? So you went and got food yesterday.

00:01:45 - 00:02:10 | Speaker 4:

Not just food, okay? Chipotle. And we're not going to have a Hot Pocket incident, but I was equally as pissed off as I'm sure that guy was. So I love Chipotle. Anybody knows me. Chipotle is my life. And typically when I go to Chipotle, I have my favorites order. I order ahead of time. So by the time I get there, I just pick it up and I'm going back to the crib. I get two bowls of fritas, black and pinto beans. I get the whole thing, large chip guac, the whole thing.

00:02:10 - 00:02:17 | Speaker 2:

Who are you buying for food for? This is just for me. Wait, you eat two bowls? You eat two bowls of Chipotle.

00:02:17 - 00:02:32 | Speaker 4:

Two bowls, baby. Black beans, pinto beans, lettuce, cheese, fajitas, veggies. Two bowls. It depends on how frisky I'm feeling. There are days where I've put back-to-back bowls, and you probably wouldn't talk to me for the next two days because I'm just in the place. You're on the toilet?

00:02:32 - 00:02:39 | Speaker 3:

You're going to fit right in. It's not a good time. That's amazing. So excited to have you in the studio with Joe.

00:02:39 - 00:02:51 | Speaker 2:

By the way, for those that wonder what he looks like, this man is not a big man. You're a nice-sized guy, but you're not like, what do you do to survive this? I flush it out, I guess. Unbelievable.

00:02:52 - 00:03:41 | Speaker 4:

straight through so you got two bowls so i get two bowls right so i didn't get the two bowls yesterday this is a saturday so i get the two bowls saturday i eat one and i put it in the refrigerator because i know eventually i'm going to eat it because i'm never going to throw it away we had a long day yesterday we had the morning show then like i said i went to comerica park hit a couple balls had a great day and i know for a fact that when i get home my chipotle is going to be where i left it but when i open the refrigerator it isn't there and i go to cherelle's my girlfriend i'm like hey what did you see my chipotle oh yeah i threw that away i say you did what yeah i threw it away it's been in there since saturday what gives you the right to decide the shelf life of my food well wait if it's okay so i was i was in agreement with you until i heard

00:03:41 - 00:03:47 | Speaker 3:

it had been in there since saturday it's just so it's probably stinky no it's not like salmon it's

00:03:47 - 00:03:51 | Speaker 4:

meat. It's meatless options. It's sofritas. Oh, okay.

00:03:51 - 00:03:58 | Speaker 3:

All right. And it's not fully open. It's foiled. It's wrapped. But how long do you think food lasts without preservatives, my dude?

00:03:59 - 00:04:02 | Speaker 4:

Look, man. Tuesday was enough time for me.

00:04:03 - 00:04:08 | Speaker 3:

Okay. That's risky. You're wondering why we have stomach issues. It might be you're eating spoiled food.

00:04:09 - 00:04:11 | Speaker 4:

But here's the thing.

00:04:11 - 00:04:12 | Speaker 3:

It's my decision.

00:04:13 - 00:04:20 | Speaker 4:

If I'm going to get sick, let me get sick don't go touch my food and throw it away but you guys live together so if you get sick

00:04:20 - 00:04:26 | Speaker 3:

it affects her yeah and it's her fridge too and she's pregnant yeah this is by the way a version

00:04:26 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 2:

either of am i the a-hole so so real quick i want to throw uh throw this out there because there's a couple things you can call up with number one you can call up with like the story that shannon did a moment ago about the roommate that ate the hot pocket and the guy shot him you can call up with the complaints about your roommates or people in your home that eat your food, then I also think that you could call up and tell us another thing with this, you call up and tell us the excessive order that you have when you go eat and what is your excessive order? Because I'm.

00:05:00 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 3:

going to say this to you that seems very excessive that you go buy two bowls and and and we can down

00:05:05 - 00:05:16 | Speaker 4:

two bowls of that stuff so how is it different than if you go to a restaurant and you get an appetizer you get a full entree you get drinks and you get dessert what's the difference all right

00:05:16 - 00:05:35 | Speaker 3:

there is no difference but that's a lot of beans he's like i'm like that's no it's a lot of beans that's a lot first off the mere fact that you go black beans and pinto beans at the same time yeah I've got to get my protein. Wait, are you not a meat eater? I don't eat meat. You don't eat meat? Mascotarian vibes. It's fish or it's something for us. All right.

00:05:35 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 1:

Learn something new.

00:05:36 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so, and then the whole keeping it for a long period of time thing is not a good idea. Actually, I just got a text. I just got a text from, let's see here, where is it at? The Michigan Health Department says- Oh, I love this. They say food lasts six days. That's from Misfit Victor on a text.

00:05:57 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 1:

If it's pasta or something, I'll keep it in my fridge longer. But if it's something, like I said, that smells a little bit, it's going.

00:06:03 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 4:

It's Saturday. It's not like it's been a week.

00:06:06 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 3:

Daniel, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:06:09 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 6:

Yes, I agree with the guy 100%. Yeah, it's Kev.

00:06:13 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 3:

Say hi to Kev.

00:06:15 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 6:

Hi, Kev. What's up, Daniel? Yeah, what's up, man? I agree with you 100%. I get so upset when my girlfriend does this to me.

00:06:24 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 3:

Yes, so if she throws your food away Is it usually throwing it away Or is she eating it

00:06:31 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 6:

No, she throws it away She'll straight up just throw it away

00:06:34 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 3:

And she's not allowed to touch your food Even though it looks like it's growing things on it In the refrigerator

00:06:40 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 6:

I don't know about growing things If it's growing things, I'm going to throw it away And she

00:06:45 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 5:

You said she's pregnant too, right Yeah, Chipotle

00:06:49 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 6:

I mean, come on I mean, that's That's expensive right there. Exactly.

00:06:56 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 3:

Two bowls are what? A bowl is like $12 a piece, right?

00:06:59 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 4:

Exactly. And then you get the large chip and guac.

00:07:01 - 00:07:14 | Speaker 6:

Yes. And the main thing is with Chipotle is you're expected not to eat all of it on that first day. So it can last two or three days.

00:07:14 - 00:07:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, by the way, now you're judging me. Nobody loves Chipotle more than I do.

00:07:19 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 7:

I think we all know one day max that rice is making it, and then it gets inedible.

00:07:25 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 4:

I know what I'm bringing Megan for the pool party.

00:07:28 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Brendan?

00:07:30 - 00:07:43 | Speaker 5:

Hi, good morning. I had a roommate that just moved in like a week prior to me, like going on a little vacation. And when I get back, he drank a whole 24-pack of Coke that I had in my fridge.

00:07:43 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 3:

That bastard.

00:07:44 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 5:

The first week that he was living with me.

00:07:47 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, no, you can't do that. You cannot drink your beverage. That's the worst when that's your drink that you have. What's up, Blake?

00:07:56 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 2:

Hey, how's it going?

00:07:57 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 3:

Good. Blake calls up with the roommate rule.

00:08:01 - 00:08:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so we have a rule in our house where leftovers, after 36 hours, if it has not been eaten, it is fair game.

00:08:09 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 1:

I think that's fair.

00:08:10 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 3:

Fair game to eat or throw away? Both. Really? 36 hours is the maximum time?

00:08:18 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 4:

I want it after that one.

00:08:20 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, absolutely.

00:08:22 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 4:

See, I like the fact that you have rules established. I think that's where we're missing things in our house.

00:08:27 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 3:

Well, you need to do that.

00:08:28 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 4:

How long have you guys been living together? I think two years, maybe.

00:08:31 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 3:

You guys have, you're making a mistake.

00:08:33 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 5:

The reason I brought up the pregnancy, she's got that pregnancy smell, too, man. You can't mess with that.

00:08:39 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. For those who don't know, Kev, who's new to the show, his girlfriend, Sherelle, is pregnant. And like Mike said, Mike, if you threw away some of that, or if Allie saw that you left stuff in the refrigerator and it started getting to a point like that, she would have gotten rid of that thing. That would have been tossed, right?

00:08:55 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 4:

See, but the amount of things that pregnant women eat, I feel like they're already confused with their smells.

00:09:00 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 3:

No.

00:09:01 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 4:

What? You want Burger King one minute? You want Tropical Smoothie the next?

00:09:03 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 3:

Actually, let me say this to you. When a woman is pregnant, you deal with whatever their smell is. If they don't like the smell of certain things, because it's done. And you never order it until they're okay with the smell again. What's up, Brittany?

00:09:17 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 7:

Hi.

00:09:18 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 1:

Hi. Morning.

00:09:19 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 7:

Good morning. So I'm just calling because the other day, I'm from Windsor, so the other day we went to gyros and more, and I haven't had a gyro in a really long time, and I was super excited to get the gyro and the Greek salad and the fries, and we went home and we ate it, but I only had half. So I went out and did my errands and running around, and while I was out, I was texting my fiance and I said, oh my god, I'm so hungry, I can't wait to get home and eat my gyro the rest of it or whatever and he didn't respond back to me and I get home to eat my gyro so quickly it's gone

00:10:00 - 00:10:02 | Speaker 6:

He ate it, didn't he? Did he eat it?

00:10:03 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 5:

Shame on him. He ate the gyro while he was reading the text message.

00:10:09 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 6:

Probably. Probably.

00:10:11 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 5:

Oh, you don't do that to you. Did you want to cut him?

00:10:15 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 6:

But the worst thing was, when I was out, I had gotten him McDonald's, and he wanted a McDouble, so I got him two. And he had the nerve to offer me one of his McDouble's.

00:10:24 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 5:

Oh. Wait, that was nice of him. That was actually kind of nice.

00:10:27 - 00:10:30 | Speaker 6:

I couldn't believe it

00:10:30 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 5:

You should have eaten both of them And just said go F off

00:10:33 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 2:
