All right, it is the Mojo in the morning show. Ah, Megan, very upset. Last year was her year. She did a great job. You hosted everybody, right, for Thanksgiving?

00:01:31 - 00:01:34 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I did all of the work. I literally did it all.

00:01:34 - 00:01:38 | Speaker 5:

You thought, okay, I got that one out of the way. What's happening this year? But what's going on?

00:01:38 - 00:01:56 | Speaker 3:

So in case you didn't know, Thanksgiving this year is just going to be my dad, my brother, and I. And last year, to be fair, I was a little too zooted, so it did take me longer than it should have. but I did cook for like seven hours it should have probably taken five but like I didn't want

00:01:56 - 00:02:02 | Speaker 4:

to cut a finger off so I was taking my time how do you get high and then keep track of when you're

00:02:02 - 00:03:06 | Speaker 3:

cooking nine different it was very stressful there were a lot of curse words and nobody was allowed in the kitchen so I had all that going on and I not to brag but I killed it last year Like, I really did an amazing job. I went above and beyond, and it was, chef's kiss good. Like I said, I cooked for, like, seven hours. We ate for about 15 minutes, and then I had to clean everything up. It sucked. I hated it. I didn't want to do it again, but in my mind, I was like, boom, that's, I don't have to do this again for another three years, because next year it's not going to be my turn, and then we're going to force whoever's left to do it the last, so three years, I can do this once every three years. so my dad my brother and i are talking and we're like what's the plan for thanksgiving what's going on silence everybody's waiting for me to volunteer my services and guess what it's not happening nobody was grateful last year we had one photo that my dad didn't even put up on like send to the group chat with his family members nobody bragged it went up on instagram nobody cared

00:03:06 - 00:03:11 | Speaker 5:

everybody posted their turkeys if you cook a meal and nobody posted on social media you didn't cook

00:03:11 - 00:03:38 | Speaker 3:

exactly true exactly nobody cared so i was not volunteering my services and i'm also not gonna lie i'm a little upset that this is the first year that i'm not going to have a major holiday in my childhood home um so i'm a little upset i don't want to do it and now it's gotten to the point where we're out of time none of us have gone grocery shopping and i'm pretty sure we're doing Chinese takeout for Thanksgiving this year.

00:03:40 - 00:03:46 | Speaker 5:

Because nobody in the family will step up. Now, where would you want it to be? Because your brother lives with you. You want him just to cook at your

00:03:46 - 00:03:48 | Speaker 3:

house? No, I don't want it at my house.

00:03:48 - 00:03:50 | Speaker 5:

So basically, you want your dad

00:03:50 - 00:03:51 | Speaker 3:

to do it? Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:03:53 - 00:04:00 | Speaker 5:

And that beautiful new bachelor apartment that he's got. I know. Overlooking this beautiful city and everything. But are you allowed there?

00:04:00 - 00:04:05 | Speaker 3:

We watch, okay, approved. Yes. You said that you might not be allowed.

00:04:05 - 00:04:06 | Unknown:

Back.

00:04:06 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 4:

She's not allowed to have a key. Fair question.

00:04:08 - 00:04:11 | Speaker 3:

I'm not allowed to have a key, but I am invited when he's home. Yeah. Okay.

00:04:11 - 00:04:12 | Speaker 4:

She can't be unsupervised.

00:04:13 - 00:04:35 | Speaker 3:

But I just don't understand why, at this point, my dad was like, well, I think I'll make like a casserole, but it's got a lot of cheese in it, and I know you can't eat cheese. That was what my father suggested this year. I wanted to try making like a lasagna, but I don't think you like eating cheese, so I don't know what you would do. That is what my father said to me. Rude. So rude.

00:04:35 - 00:04:37 | Speaker 4:

Well, rude is your dad voice when you tell us what he said.

00:04:37 - 00:04:40 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, your dad sounds nothing like that.

00:04:40 - 00:04:41 | Speaker 4:

I've heard him numerous times.

00:04:41 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 5:

He has a quite beautiful voice.

00:04:43 - 00:04:47 | Speaker 3:

What are you talking about? This is my dad. It's a mix of Cher and like a rich lady.

00:04:49 - 00:04:52 | Speaker 5:

Come on, let me hear you say, if I can turn back time.

00:04:53 - 00:04:56 | Speaker 3:

If I could turn back time.

00:04:58 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 5:

Rebecca?

00:04:58 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 3:

I wouldn't have my.

00:05:00 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 7:

Rebecca, you can relate to Megan, huh?

00:05:07 - 00:05:35 | Speaker 2:

Hi. So I relate big time to Megan. About two years ago, I did a huge Friendsgiving where I spent all day cooking. I cooked ham, turkey, like everything possible. And people raved saying it was better than their mom. But then it's like Megan said, after you eat for 15 minutes, then it's nothing. You don't hear about it again. You don't get picture, you don't get anything, and yeah, the compliments are nice, but, like, after those 15 minutes.

00:05:36 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, that's, I think when you're saying this, I realize, man, I got to do something for my wife afterwards, because she busts her ass doing all the stuff on Thanksgiving. We all eat, and then it's like, okay, we do the dishes, but we got to, we should do something. And maybe what we need to do is for, like, Megan to do it again or for my wife or anybody else that's cooking, we need to have, like, a crown and a cape and a throne and everything. Like, you know what I mean?

00:06:01 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 6:

A cape while you're cooking in the car.

00:06:03 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 7:

No, no, afterwards. For the afterwards. Or, you know, we need to do something for you.

00:06:08 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 1:

If I'm zooted with a cape on, that's getting stuck in the oven door for sure.

00:06:12 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 7:

Maybe that's it. Maybe we'll have a special thing to get you zooted. You get zooted before cooking, which is very interesting that you even got anything accomplished. Yeah, it's really daring. What's up, Amy?

00:06:24 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 3:

Hi, good morning. Good morning. So I was just at Costco yesterday, and they had like eight turkey breast and mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, and it was ready to just take and basically bake if she wanted to do that. Yes.

00:06:36 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 7:

Oh, wow.

00:06:37 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 2:

Costco, Boston Market still does that.

00:06:39 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 3:

Whole Foods, you can still pick up meals. Yeah, like I was like, oh, my God, if I wasn't cooking, this is what I would do. Yeah.

00:06:45 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 7:

But Megan did homemade last year. She did it all on her show.

00:06:49 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 3:

Let me tell you something. Those all taste good.

00:06:52 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 7:

Chinese takeout, though, is good on Thanksgiving. Yeah, especially on Thanksgiving. Yeah, it is so good. What's up, Haley?

00:07:00 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 4:

Hi. My grandparents' house is where we usually do dinner. And this year, they're calling the cops on each other every 20 minutes. And so we're not doing Thanksgiving with them. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. What's going on? um we usually do like a polish thanksgiving at my grandparents house yeah and this year they keep calling the cops on each other so we're not doing a big dinner wait wait why what's the story behind that my grandma is living with her dad because she can't afford like a house at the moment okay and they just keep fighting back and forth about living in the house or not

00:07:38 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 7:

Oh, jeez. So grandma and grandpa aren't together, huh?

00:07:42 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:07:42 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 7:

Oh, God. That's great. But you know what, though? I'd like to come to that Thanksgiving. A hundred percent, right? I want to be there just to see what's going on.

00:07:50 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 4:

That was something.

00:07:51 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 7:

Cops who have to work on holidays, I feel so bad for them because they got to go on these domestic calls where people are like throwing turkey. Has anybody in your family ever thrown a turkey at each other?

00:08:03 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 6:

No. That's a great topic. What was thrown at your Thanksgiving? Oh, my God. Save that. Come on. We're doing it tomorrow.

00:08:10 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 7:

All right. Save that. Yeah, that's a good one. Hold on. Write that down. Write that down there.

00:08:14 - 00:08:39 | Speaker 6:
