Lately, it's been driving me crazy that I have no privacy at home. I feel like when being 25, you want your own space, and I'm not going to really say too much about my parents because I love living with them.

And you don't want to get kicked out. Yeah, that's the most important part.

but it's driving me nuts. Like I'll change my clothes and my mom will just walk in. Like the other day I was naked, completely butt naked. And my mom just walked in the door. She didn't knock. She didn't even give me like a call signal and say, Lydia, I'm coming in. Like she just walked right in. And I'm like, mom, this is so inappropriate. Like we need to have a little bit of space. Well, then yesterday I came home from work and I saw three contractors in my bedroom so we're getting our chandelier fixed we're changing it out and i see three guys in my closet up in my attic like a foot was literally hanging out and my whole closet was hanging on my

bed like frame so they took that hole that that pole that hangs everything and threw it up on your

bed yeah and they hung up all my clothes by hangers on the bed the edge of my bed frame oh wow and i couldn't even do anything about it my mom was like yeah the electrical cords run through her bedroom so go ahead have at it oh man that's so inappropriate i'm like we can't ask you for permission no permission they were just all hanging out in my room did they put that pole

back up and you're hanging your clothes back up in the right place oh absolutely not they just

left everything oh no they always seen this video before yeah it's weird to have people in your bedroom like even if they have to be there for work purposes like in this case but i always just feel like you could go anywhere else in my house but my bedroom is like just weird a question here

I took my kids' doors off the hinges when those kids lived. I would say, Lily, it's terrible. We took them off. Actually, I didn't take them off. I had a guy come and take them off because my kids were slamming the doors and they were being pains in the asses when we would tell them to come down to dinner and stuff. and they would be up there and they said they couldn't hear us in the room. So guess what? The next day they could hear us because they didn't have any doors.

It takes away a little of the effect when you have to have somebody else come take the door off.

I know, it's true. Kind of lose the rage. Mike was very hard. We can talk about cruel punishments at a later topic.

I was going to say, side note, why do we always put the door to the attic in the closet where we can't access it and we have to move the entire closet? Like, that's another thing we'll have to talk about someday. Yes, yes. Very true.

Also, that's kind of a lesson to not just throw your dirty laundry all over.

Well, some people don't have the luxury of time to clean their room.

I'm going to be on the parent side because I'm a parent of daughters.

This is the girl that lives with her grandparents and has the whole place to herself because they're snowbirds. Yeah, that's true. Hold on. David says, no sympathy for Lydia. Why is that, David?

Because, like, if you look at it, like, I bought my house two years ago, and I look back on how much money I was saving living with my parents, and now on my own and all that, I wish I was back in my pants because, like, I would be saving so much money to be able to, like, put down on a house, save the things that I want, and, like, have everything ready to move out before I moved out.

That's what, by the way, that's interesting that you say that and we're, you know, talking about wanting to live back, but that's like Megan's thing. She claims all the time on the show that buying a house is a bad thing and not a good idea. and you're proof that that's the case. Jacqueline, who are we siding with here?

I'm siding with Lydia. When I lived with my parents, I would work super early in the morning. I'd always be quiet for them. And whenever I had a day off, my mom, I had a room in the basement. My mom would wear heels upstairs on the hardware floor and slam her feet all around all morning.

Oh, wow, wow, wow.

Every morning I was so nice with them. And my dad would always, I'd be trying to do homework in my room all quiet. because I can't focus on anyone else.

How much did you pay for rent, Jacqueline?

I didn't pay anything.

Yeah, all right. I like that, though. I'd have a day off, and my mom would slam her heels. Well, all right. Tell your mom to wear slippers.
