Moto Casino. America's social casino. This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

00:01:07 - 00:01:52 | Speaker 2:

I would say Bishop State's like a home for people. It may not be like a four-year where you have a dorm, you have a roommate, you have a rec center, but it's still a place you can go meet new people, classmates, people in the hallway, make friends with advisors on all these teachers and everything like that. It's just a place you can feel like yourself and not try to be there you don't want to be. With this program, I learned networking a lot. We've had two dinners with heads of different companies dealing with shipping or even game design builds, dealing with AutoCAD or any 3D modeling. So really being able to meet new people or meet heads of new people has been really helpful. I don't come from a wealthy family, so four years were kind of not out the picture, but less probable for me to go to. Bishop State with my scholarship, it cut my price in half and made it way easier for me to go to school for the same 12 credits I would go for a four-year.

Mojo in the Morning Show. Good to have you guys listening. If you've got a kid with you, maybe not a good topic to be listening to a kid with, But sometimes some people are different. Some people are like, hey, I like my kids getting educated by you guys. All right. So here's my thing I want to talk about. And I think that we'll get some funny calls on this one. I want to ask the listeners, and I'll give my example, and it might help you think of one. What are some things that should not be talked about while you are in the midst of baking cookies, okay? Some conversations that should not be talked about. I am a big believer that conversations should not happen during sex. I think that if anything, the only thing you're doing is dirty talking, okay? And what I mean by this is Chelsea and I were in the midst of, you know, baking cookies, as people like to say. And while we were having sex or while we were in that moment, and she gets mad at me all the time because she says that I am a, like, I like to, like, breathe into her air. And she's like, will you stop that? What do you mean? She's like, I go, like, you know what I mean? Like, I'm cleaning off, like, a window or something like that. Now y'all having sex, you're doing this? I like to do, for some reason, I always thought that she liked it when I like, like, blew into her air or like, you know what I mean? She doesn't like that stuff. So she kind of like backs away from me a little bit because she doesn't want me to do it. And she all of a sudden in the moment of us, you know, doing our thing, she goes, have you called Luke yet to talk to him about, and I don't want to go out there, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Luke is my son. And I was like, oh, why do you got to bring up our kids or parenting or any of the parenting stuff while we're having sex? Like, there's certain things I don't want to even have to. Like, to me at that moment, I don't even want to think I have kids. You know what I mean? Like, I don't want that. Like, why? It's kind of, you know what it's like? It's like in the middle of you having sex, basically saying I have responsibilities in my life. Like, hey, did you pay the...

00:05:00 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 1:

mortgage you know or hey time to mow the grass yeah that's right no like seriously i don't want to do that and i want so this is the conversation that i would like to ask what's the biggest buzz kill that happened during sex like what was what was said or talked about during sex that made that sexual experience not as fun as it should have been like to me the only thing i want you to say is, you know, ooh, baby, you're hot or you got the biggest, you know, whatever. I don't know. When I watch porn, I never watch porn and I never see Mia Khalifa going, hey, did you call your son up at college and tell him he's got to go do something?

00:05:43 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 3:

Y'all got no porn names y'all know? Yes, you do.

00:05:47 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 5:

No, never. I would never watch that filth. I would never have a person I follow. I did date A guy once, and I always thought this was really weird, where if I laughed, we couldn't continue the activity.

00:06:02 - 00:06:04 | Speaker 4:

Because he was mad? He was offended?

00:06:04 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:06:05 - 00:06:07 | Speaker 4:

Why were you laughing? Yeah. What are you laughing about?

00:06:07 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 5:

We broke the bed.

00:06:08 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay. It was hysterical.

00:06:11 - 00:06:15 | Speaker 5:

And he was like, well, now we can't keep going. Because I laughed and he couldn't keep going.

00:06:16 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Oh, that's terrible. Wes hates it when I comment on, like I get super self-conscious about my breath. And he loves waking up in the middle of the night and waking me up, which I just told Megan was last night. Like I was, I'm sound asleep. I brushed my teeth four hours ago. And so if he wakes me up, I'm always like, oh my God, my breath's so bad, my breath's so bad. And he's like, that, I don't care. I don't care what your breath smells like.

00:06:40 - 00:06:55 | Speaker 1:

I hate that too. I hate that. And I also hate when I go to kiss Chelsea, and she's like, my breath smells, and I don't want to kiss you for that reason. That's the moment your breath could smell like rancid doo-doo, and I would be fine with it. You don't care.

00:06:55 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I'm the opposite.

00:06:56 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 1:

Really?

00:06:57 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 5:

You can have fun. Don't kiss me.

00:06:58 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 1:

No.

00:06:59 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 3:

I just don't want you to get on the phone afterwards. That's my thing.

00:07:02 - 00:07:03 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's the worst. Yeah.

00:07:03 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 3:

At least, you know.

00:07:05 - 00:07:05 | Speaker 1:

That is.

00:07:06 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 3:

Act like it.

00:07:06 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 1:

Half. Here you go. It's kind of crazy to know this. like when people are talking half the time that people are uh having sex 50 percent of the time people say they want quiet sex i don't necessarily know if i want quiet sex do you guys want quiet

00:07:21 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 4:

sex no i just want enjoyable sex so sometimes i like quiet sex if we have to be quiet for a reason because then it's fun it's like an adventure like if there are you know kids sleeping or if we're in a place where we shouldn't be having sex and you have to be really quiet oh yeah it's good yeah

00:07:39 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm with you on that one, too. Because you don't want to get caught. Right. It's, like, suspenseful.

00:07:43 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 1:

By the way, I just want to stop this topic for one second. You may have to edit this out, Zach. I think that they finally shut our internet off. They did.

00:07:52 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 4:

It's gone. Oh, is that what happened? Yeah, everything of mine just went down.

00:07:55 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 1:

I think our internet, so I'm going to have to go to my phone right now to read some of these text messages.

00:08:00 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 4:

Not to be true.

00:08:00 - 00:08:04 | Speaker 1:

I think that the company literally has shut everything down on us.

00:08:04 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 5:

I told you this would happen.

00:08:07 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 1:

These rotten bastards.

00:08:08 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 5:

You have to connect to the actual, like, employee one and not the guest one. Oh, and that works then? Yes. Okay.

00:08:15 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 1:

But why would they do this to us?

00:08:17 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 5:

Great question.

00:08:18 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 1:

Like, why are they?

00:08:19 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 3:

No guests will come in between now and Wednesday, apparently.

00:08:22 - 00:08:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Like, literally, I think they just took the router out of the building here because we're the lone stars left in this thing. And we can't get connected to the Internet. That's crazy. So if I connect to, what is this?

00:08:37 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 5:

The employee one, not the guest one.

00:08:38 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 1:

All right, what is the password for that?

00:08:40 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 5:

Here, I'll come to you. I don't know either. I need it.

00:08:42 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it's not our own?

00:08:43 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 5:

No.

00:08:43 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. You got to hit up everybody there, Megan.

00:08:46 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Oh, you know what you got to use? I know what you got to do. You got to use your...

00:08:51 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 3:

Your work one.

00:08:52 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:08:52 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 3:

That's what I'm saying.

00:08:53 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:08:54 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:08:55 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 1:

All right, here it goes. Let's see. Do I still work here?

00:09:00 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 5:

If not, I can turn my hotspot on.

00:09:03 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 3:

Not even an email, though, to say this is what's going to happen. Who does this stuff? Just shut it off. Literally.

00:09:08 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 1:

This is crazy. I can't believe this. All right. Try to work. Oh, we got calls on this topic now. Now back to our topic already in progress. Mojo in the morning. What's up, Mike? How you doing? Good. How are you? Good. What did they bring up during sex?

00:09:27 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 2:

Anything about religion.

00:09:29 - 00:09:32 | Speaker 1:

Wait. If it ain't, oh, my God. We don't need to talk about it.

00:09:33 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 2:

Amen.

00:09:34 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 1:

Wait. What was it that was talked about?

00:09:39 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 2:

Just like, are we going to go to church? I'm not thinking about that right now. I'm thinking about other things.

00:09:46 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Who did this? Your girl? My ex. Oh, my gosh. That is so funny.

00:09:54 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Listen, if Megan wants to talk about it, though, I mean, hey. Oh, my gosh.

00:10:00 - 00:10:02 | Speaker 5:

Mike, what's your credit score? What do you do for a living?

00:10:03 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 2:

I coach college basketball. Oh, my God. Wait, wait, wait.

00:10:08 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 5:

Wait, what school?

00:10:12 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I can't say that on the air.

00:10:13 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you can. Why? Do you work for...

00:10:16 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 3:

Maybe off the air.

00:10:17 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 1:

All right, hold on. We'll talk to you off the air. That's cool. I like that. College basketball coach? I like it. What's up, Jessica?

00:10:24 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 5:

What's up?

00:10:25 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 1:

How you doing?

00:10:26 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 5:

I'm great.

00:10:27 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 1:

What's happening? and we're talking about things that you cannot talk about during sex or conversations you can't bring up during sex.

00:10:35 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I get told, like, at times, like, don't move. And I'm like, oh, because I'm like, oh, I get it.

00:10:44 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 1:

He doesn't want you to move because he's afraid that it's going to be all over with quickly, huh?

00:10:50 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, pretty much. And, yeah, it's a little.

00:10:53 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 1:

So that bothers the girls when that happens? yeah because i'm like i'm i'm getting there oh okay yeah so it's like if yeah but then again it may be a one that we'll never get to if if you move he's got to start he's got to uh start being called tell him to start talking about religion at that moment start praying for that moment what's up uh initial l it's mojo in the morning how you doing good how are you good no talking during sex is the topic. What's up?

00:11:29 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 4:

All right, so one of the things is the one of the guys I sleep with would get mad when I would wear my cross because, you know, I'm a priest and stuff.

00:11:41 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 1:

Wait, hold on. I don't understand what you're saying. Stop for a second. What is she saying? You want me to tell you?

00:11:47 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 6:

It's a man.

00:11:48 - 00:12:01 | Speaker 1:

This is a man? Yeah. This is a man that is on the phone? I didn't even know that. It's on for some reason. I didn't know that. We are gender free when we come, when we have our Voices Guys machine.

00:12:01 - 00:12:01 | Speaker 6:

The priest is trying to give it away.

00:12:01 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay. So you had somebody do what?

00:12:07 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 4:

They would get mad usually when I come in wearing my cross. And they would always have me take off my cross and chain during sex.

00:12:15 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 1:

When you would have sex, the person that you're having sex with asked you to take your necklace off that was a cross?

00:12:23 - 00:12:28 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Because you're not supposed to be having sex anyway, right? Yeah. You've called us before.

00:12:29 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 1:

Yep. Wait, this is the priest that's having sex?

00:12:32 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 6:

Yes. You called us recently, like a couple weeks ago, about a topic.

00:12:36 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I thought maybe it was because your necklace was banging them in the face or something. Like, I'm going, what is going on?

00:12:42 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 6:

That's a legitimate reason, by the way, right there.

00:12:44 - 00:13:07 | Speaker 1:

So, this is that priest or alleged priest? I don't know if I believe it. I think this is a baloney story. I think this is somebody that's trying to talk crap. I don't know. Lydia, let's see. Lydia, you're the religious person on the Mojo in the Morning Show. Tell me if you think that's a priest or not. You think it's a priest or you think it's BS?

00:13:07 - 00:13:09 | Speaker 5:

He did call himself father when he was speaking.

00:13:09 - 00:13:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, God. Okay, yes. All right. I'm also Luke, Joey, and Jacob's father, too. That's a bunch of crap. What's up, Avery? By the way, I don't want to hear about it during sex. What's up, Avery? Those are disciples. Yeah. I don't want Chelsea, unless Chelsea's calling me daddy during sex, then I'm fine with it. What's going on, Avery?

00:13:28 - 00:13:45 | Speaker 2:

So I was hooking up with this, actually one of my coworkers, and she, in the middle, was like, do you have to work after this? I'm like, I'm not trying to focus on work right now because I'm, you know, working other ways.

00:13:46 - 00:14:04 | Speaker 1:

I get it. Like, I don't want to have to give you my schedule. Don't give me a review. Like, let's do an employment review in the middle of having sex. What's up, Michael? How you doing? Doing good. How are you? Michael, I'm doing fantastic. We're talking about sex. What's happening?

00:14:05 - 00:14:46 | Speaker 3:

Awesome. So, this just happened, and honestly, a lot of Taylor people are pissed off. So, me and my wife, I got home from work, and it was a Sunday. Did you take the trash out? I said no. All right, go ahead and do it. My dad says, well, it's Veterans Day. Don't take trash out. I'm like, yes, sir, because he's a veteran. So later on that day, me and my wife had sex, and then in the middle of that, like, did you take trash out? I'm like, are you serious? Like, it's Veterans Day. We don't take trash out. They don't pick up trash on Veterans Day. Yeah, it's a holiday. Exactly. Well, guess what? In Taylor, they picked up trash on Veterans Day. Are you kidding me?

00:14:47 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 1:

No, I am not kidding. Why would the trash people pick up trash on Veterans Day? That's a holiday. They did. They did.

00:14:57 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 3:

So I'm stuck with trash. But in the middle.

00:15:00 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 1:

In the middle of sex, in the middle of sex, she asked. She was like, you know what? You should still take the trash off.

00:15:06 - 00:15:07 | Unknown:

Are you f***ing kidding me?

00:15:08 - 00:15:11 | Speaker 4:

Ah, that's right. Oh, yeah, yeah.

00:15:11 - 00:15:12 | Speaker 2:

Dump, dump, dump.

00:15:12 - 00:15:17 | Speaker 4:

He said it twice then. Tripp it. Tripp it.

00:15:17 - 00:15:48 | Speaker 2:

Yes, are you f***ing kidding me? They've taken over cities before, but this July, they're bringing the X Games League Championship home to New Orleans. July 24th through 26th at the Superdome. 00:16:28 - 00:17:13 | Speaker 4:

Alan Lee, my major is drafting and design. In high school, I did it since my sophomore year, and I kind of wanted to continue it. It was the only thing I was good at. I didn't want to move to a four-year. I don't think I was mentally prepared. I found Bishop State. They had the program. I met a few people there. I ended up enrolling. The instructor, first day I met him, I told him about my background. He said, okay, great, you know about this. He built me straight to work. He didn't let me have any leeway. He pushed me to my limits. So I think that made me choose drafting and design at Bishop State and stuck with it. The sport's amazing. All my instructors just want to see me succeed. They want to push me to my limit. They want to see me be the best I can be, get a job, just be as successful as I can be. And I really appreciate all of them. With my degree, as of right now, my plan is to work for the city of Mobile with their urban planning department. And I've already got a job shadow before, and hopefully I will internship over the summer. If you choose Bishop, we're welcome to have you any day.
