All right, it's Mojo in the morning. So yesterday I had a lunch appointment, actually just a lunch hanging out with a friend, David Feminino, great attorney in the Detroit area, does a lot of representation of people like you, our listeners, if you ever get into an accident. It was actually wild because while we were sitting there having lunch, he was getting phone calls from people that heard his ads on our radio show and were, like, needing a lawyer. And I got to actually witness him in the booth at the restaurant talking to people and explaining to them, you know, about what they need to do and if they've been in a car accident and how they can recover, you know, some of the losses they got. But so I'm on my way out there, and my best buddy since kindergarten is Brad. And I was talking to Brad Yeager on the way out there, And we talk usually like maybe two or three times a week. It's weird. We just like randomly, it was like check-ins, boom, go. He does appliance repair for a living. So he goes to homes and fixes appliances. So he will either call me if something weird has happened on one of his, you know, jobs, or he'll call me in between jobs. Like he's had the weirdest stuff happen. Like, he's had women, like, walk in in their underwear, like, while he's, you know, inside of the washer machine, like, fixing it and stuff. That's dream stuff, right? He's had, somebody had a goat as a pet. I was like, I swear to you, in the living room, I'm telling you, he's got a million stories. So we're driving, and I tell him, I go, yeah, I'm going to lunch today. And he goes, don't eat soup. And I go, what do you mean, don't eat soup? He goes, you can't eat soup. And I said, why can't I eat soup? He says, men cannot eat soup. You do not look manly eating soup. And I'm like thinking to myself, first off, I wasn't going to eat soup, but now you bring up food. I want to eat it. You know what I mean? Like, I love celery. I love a good soup. And so he said to me, he goes, and by the way, you got to tell me this, you got to tell me there's certain, you know, there are any guys out there listening. I know we got a lot of truckers and stuff that listen. You guys ever eat soup? He said, uh, guy sitting there with a spoon trying to eat liquid is not good. And he told me that he saw something. He's a big barstool guy. He saw something on barstool once that made him go, I'll never eat soup again. And I'm like, you're doing this based off of barstool?

00:03:26 - 00:03:45 | Speaker 2:

Soup is for women. Men cannot eat soup. It's way too girly. You're going to take a little spoon and put it up to your little lips. And you're going to swallow a tiny little spoon. You're going to swallow a teaspoonful of food. It's weird. It's wrong. Men should not have soup ever. It's weird. It's not manly. You need to eat only meat at all times with your hands. It's just odd. Soup is weird. It's weird like that.

00:03:45 - 00:03:54 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so that was what he's going off of, that you cannot eat soup. And I'm like, okay, now I'll never be able to go to the soup ever again. Is that place still around?

00:03:54 - 00:04:14 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. It used to be one in Southfield. I think maybe. I kind of agree, though. Really? Yeah, a little bit. Two things I agree with. One, you can't be slurping like. Well, that's for men and women. Chicken noodle soup. I don't mind a woman doing it. You can't do like a bunch of noodles. You can do it at home. But the other thing is like you got to pucker your lips to cool it off if it's steaming hot.

00:04:14 - 00:04:33 | Speaker 7:

You can't be sitting up there going, yeah, like orders. If there's French onion soup on the menu, that man orders it, even if it's 100 degrees outside. So then you have to watch him like stretch the cheese out and try to figure out like how he's going to get the cheese in his mouth politely.

00:04:33 - 00:04:36 | Speaker 3:

Does he ever have the cheese dripped down his like on his beard?

00:04:36 - 00:04:37 | Speaker 7:

Of course.

00:04:39 - 00:04:57 | Speaker 3:

The other thing that Brad was telling me is a guy cannot lick an ice cream cone. Like, you can't just stand on the side of the road licking an ice cream cone. And these are grown-ass men. Little boys can. Like, you can do that if you want to. You can't do it. Remember Johnny Derry used to tell me that no man should ever drink from a cocktail straw.

00:04:58 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. The little teeny tiny skinny straw.

00:05:00 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. He says it looks like you're sucking a little D. By name. Really? Cocktail strong. You got to watch out for those. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Agree, disagree, thoughts on this one? Because I'd like to know if I've just ruined ever eating soup for myself, or Brad did for me.

00:05:22 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 5:

That's so funny. You know what else I kind of want to add to the list? And I love a good charcuterie board. I am. I am a fan always. But for some reason, I do think it's funny when guys have the little teeny tiny plates that sound like the paper plates, and then they take a toothpick, and they are trying to choose which meat and cheese and olives they want on their plate. It's impossible.

00:05:45 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 4:

That is right, by the way. And by the way, no guys could have charcuterie board parties. Like, women can have charcuterie board parties. A guy cannot have.

00:05:52 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 5:

My favorite thing ever.

00:05:53 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 4:

What's up? Trucker Kenny is on with us. Hold on a second, Trucker Kenny. I'm going to give you a little sound out. How are you?

00:06:00 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 7:

Oh, listen, I got the real thing.

00:06:02 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I like that. Yours is bigger than mine. What's happening?

00:06:08 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 7:

Listen, so I don't know what your friend's issue is with soup, but, like, Olga's got that endless soup salad and snackers. And I will put their soup down.

00:06:19 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, wait, Olga's, they get an excuse. You get a part in if you're at Olga's.

00:06:24 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 4:

By the way, those snackers are the greatest things ever. Why is it when I eat those Snackers, I always have my pinky up? I always, like, grab them with my pointy finger and my thumb, and I put them in there, and I just, oh, they're so good. Do you dip your Snackers, Trucker Kenny?

00:06:40 - 00:06:43 | Speaker 7:

Oh, yeah. And the white chicken chili soup that they got? Oh, yeah.

00:06:43 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's so good. By the way, it's funny. My favorite soup is, I love, well, is chili a soup? Do we call chili a soup? Because I like chili.

00:06:50 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 6:

I don't think so. That's it. When he said it, I was like, I count it as a soup. Really?

00:06:54 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I count it as a soup. I like chili. I think chili's good. I never thought of that. But the other one, too, is I love New England clam chowder. I don't know what it is.

00:07:04 - 00:07:05 | Speaker 6:

I've never had that.

00:07:05 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 4:

Oh, it's delicious.

00:07:07 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 6:

You eat some stuff, Dexter.

00:07:08 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 4:

What is wrong? Megan, you like it, right? I do. It's so good, especially if it's got a lot of potato in it. I mean, oh, it's so good.

00:07:15 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 5:

Why do you make that little thing with your fingers? The way both of them are talking is very weird.

00:07:20 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 4:

And broccoli cheddar.

00:07:22 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 5:

I do love that.

00:07:23 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 4:

Give me some broccoli cheddar soup. and you got a comfort day.

00:07:27 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 5:

Shoot, I'm hungry. I'm door dashing you. I'm not kidding.

00:07:30 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 4:

And who doesn't love on a day like today a grilled cheese and tomato soup?

00:07:36 - 00:07:37 | Speaker 5:

Oh, the best. Do you dip?

00:07:38 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 4:

Oh, absolutely.

00:07:39 - 00:07:40 | Speaker 6:

When I dip, you do.

00:07:40 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 4:

We dip. It is so good.

00:07:41 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 6:

I've never dipped a grilled cheese and I've never had tomato soup first and foremost.

00:07:46 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 4:

Really? Never. Why are you not?

00:07:49 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 6:

I don't know. We just always a chicken noodle family. It was a straight chicken noodle.

00:07:52 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Chicken noodle is, by the way, good. my friends my West Bloomfield Jewish friends call it Jewish penicillin
