Download the Moto Casino app today. Mojo on the Morning Show. Hope you had a great weekend. Congratulations to all the graduates. I saw that Kieran West's son, your stepson, graduated from high school. It was so cool to see those pictures. Beautiful. You guys all look great. What a handsome guy that guy is. Congrats, Kieran. Man, and then I went to a graduation party this weekend, And our boss's son, Nick, graduated.

00:02:26 - 00:02:28 | Speaker 8:

Congrats, Nick. Congrats, Nick.

00:02:28 - 00:04:13 | Speaker 1:

Nick graduated from Milford High School. And I am going to go on record to say this to you. And I used to say all the time that the nicest people in the world were in West Michigan. Maybe it's as west as you go outside of Detroit is when people just become really nice. Because there's a town called Milford, Michigan. If you've never been there before, it's a beautiful town. It's got a cool little downtown area. I have never met a bad person from Milford and you may be able to prove it to me that there was some kind of like former murderer or something that lived in that city. I don't believe that that's the case. I don't believe that bad people live in Milford. Like I, it's crazy. Every time I, Chelsea and I went to Nick's graduation and that's where our boss Tony lives and we got a chance to meet his friends and neighbors and stuff. And these are the nicest human beings I have ever in my life ever met. And I'm like, can we have a couple of you in West Bloomfield? I mean, I'm telling you. What is it? I don't know. But, I mean, listen, I've got nice neighbors, but I've got some that are a pain in the ass. I want to have nice people like these people that are here. I told Tony Travato, I'm like, you don't deserve this. And here might be the reason why. You know, our homes are all, like, on top of each other. He lives on a farm. Tony, our boss, what is he, head of programming or something? He's got a VP in his name or some kind of, yeah. Yeah, like regional type guy. So I pull up to his house, which is a farm, and there's literally a barn, and there's animals, and you don't see his neighbor right next to each other. Like the homes are spread out and stuff. So it's a legit farm.

00:04:13 - 00:04:22 | Speaker 8:

It's a farm. I knew he had goats, and he has chickens and stuff, But does he have, like, fields and a tractor? He's got a tractor.

00:04:22 - 00:04:33 | Speaker 1:

Shannon, I'm not going to lie to you. I, like, I pull up in this thing, and I'm like, Old MacDonald, where are you? You know what I mean? Like, I want to know where the heck you are. Old Travato.

00:04:34 - 00:04:37 | Speaker 5:

Were the animals out for the party? Old MacDonald.

00:04:37 - 00:04:54 | Speaker 1:

Well, the animals were kind of back, I guess, by the, he kind of kept them away from all the graduation action. Okay. Because he does have a swimming pool, by the way. Our boss has a swimming pool and he's never invited us over for a pool party.

00:04:54 - 00:04:57 | Speaker 8:

Are you kidding me? Okay, does it smell like a farm? No, it's crazy.

00:04:58 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 1:

I think if I went closer to the barn.

00:05:00 - 00:05:17 | Speaker 4:

We were far from the barn. We were right by the house, and we were close. I wanted to walk around, but it's one of those things like whenever we go over to each other's houses, the first thing we look for is your sex drawer, where all the sex toys and things are. I don't think Tony has one of those. I think Tony's got a crazy sex drawer with animals on it.

00:05:18 - 00:05:18 | Speaker 1:

No way.

00:05:20 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 4:

But it was wild, you guys. And I was thinking this would be a perfect place for us as a radio station to have like a get-together. A bonfire. Yes. Like, you would not, I don't think you'd ever get in trouble. Like, if you had a bonfire at your house, Shannon, you'd have the fire department over there.

00:05:38 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 1:

30 seconds.

00:05:39 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 4:

It'd be, they're, you know, giving you, like, some kind of a fine or something for this. There, it's like, another bonfire. Are there any listeners that listen to us that are on a farm? Like, I don't think of Toledo or, you know, Detroit or Grand Rapids as farmland. You know what I mean? but I guess we are the Midwest, right?

00:06:00 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 3:

Did you get to go in the barn at all?

00:06:02 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 4:

I wanted to, because you know what I wanted to do? I wanted to cow tip. I remember when I was younger, we had a bunch of guys that used to go to this. There was like one farm close to where I grew up on the south side of Chicago. And every year, like when it was homecoming week, somebody would try to steal a cow to bring to our school's pep rally. And one year, some guy did cow tipping, and cow tipping became a big deal in our school. we had to all have an assembly where all of us had to go there and somebody had to admit to the fact that they cow-tipped. Because if you tip over a cow, you know what I mean? They can't get up, right? Yeah, it's bad. You've got to try to help them up.

00:06:39 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 3:

Do they tip over sideways?

00:06:42 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 4:

They kind of just fall on their side and then they're done. I don't think they actually land on their back.

00:06:47 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so what was the food like? And I ask this question because a graduation party at a farm with animals, I'd be super suspicious of like... It'd be fresh. That's what I mean. I couldn't do it. I couldn't eat a damn thing except for like mac and cheese.

00:07:02 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 4:

They had their party early. So their party early was breakfast-y type stuff. So they had a bagel bar, a donut bar. Then they had French toast. They had eggs. They had bacon that they probably killed a cow for. That's what I, no, that's a pig. That's a pig. Oh, yeah. Yeah, an oink oink.

00:07:21 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 1:

Did you ask Tony if it was any of his friends?

00:07:24 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 4:

No, I think that they got the food catered in from some place that was close. Even the eggs? Because Tony's a big egg guy. I don't know. You know, it's funny. Do we have Tony Travato up this early in the morning? Or do you think?

00:07:39 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 3:

He's got to be milking something. You think so?

00:07:41 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 1:

Does he milk cows before he comes to work? Tony looks like a cow milker. We got to ask him.

00:07:46 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 3:

Really? Come on now. Tony got the overalls with the high waterproof boots. I can see it.

00:07:51 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 4:

Try to see if you can get Tony on the phone, because I'd like to know if Tony has to get up early in the morning to go and feed the animals. Maybe it's not too early for him, but what's going on? Shanita, how are you? It's Mojo in the morning. I've got to put you right there. Go ahead. You there, Shanita? Hold on a second. Shanita?

00:08:12 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 3:

Shanita!

00:08:13 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no, no, you're right there. Hold on. Stay right there. I don't have the phone lines all set up, right? There you go. There you are. I got you click. What's going on, Shanita?

00:08:21 - 00:08:36 | Speaker 2:

Are you being serious about Milford? Because Milford is like a straight-up sundown town. Like, let's be for real. What do you mean? Educate. Like, you're like, they're the nicest people ever. Oh, my God. Milford is always in. For real, Milford is a sundown town.

00:08:36 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 4:

What does it mean to be a sundown town?

00:08:38 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 2:

Educate. Sundown town where blacks are not welcome, other races are not welcome, white people are I saw black people there.

00:08:47 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, Shanita, I don't know. I never heard about that. No, I think you're...

00:08:52 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 2:

Okay, well, I mean, there's so many ways to look that up. No, no.

00:08:56 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 4:

I think Howell. You're talking about Howell, Michigan, aren't you?

00:08:59 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 3:

That's one, too. No, I'm talking about Milford.

00:09:02 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 4:

Well, let me just say this to you. On the way home, I stopped off at one of the stores that were there because I had to pick something up to go to another thing that we were going to, and I saw black people, and they weren't just working in the stores. They weren't just working.

00:09:18 - 00:09:23 | Speaker 3:

I've never been to Milford like that. I never had a destination meal for it. I can't confirm it or not.

00:09:23 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 4:

It's right there by Novi and by Walled Lake and by Brighton.

00:09:27 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 3:

I've never been.

00:09:28 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 4:

What's going on, Cam? Hi.

00:09:31 - 00:09:32 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

00:09:32 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 4:

What's happening?

00:09:33 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 2:

Growing up, have you ever heard of Marlette?

00:09:37 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 4:

Say that again. Your phone cut out. Growing up, did I ever hear what?

00:09:41 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever heard of Marlette?

00:09:43 - 00:09:45 | Speaker 4:

Marlette, no. Where's Marlette?

00:09:46 - 00:09:50 | Speaker 2:

Marlette is considered the heart of the thumb, and we are surrounded by Amish neighbors and farms.

00:09:50 - 00:10:01 | Speaker 4:

Are you serious? I'm obsessed with Amish. I think it's, you know, the reality show, you know, Your Amish Life or whatever it is. I love the Amish.

00:10:01 - 00:10:02 | Speaker 1:

It was bad. I used to watch that.

00:10:02 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 4:

That was actually like the greatest. I love it.

00:10:05 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's not that crazy, but it's pretty funny.

00:10:08 - 00:10:12 | Speaker 4:

That's awesome. Tanisha, what's up, Tanisha? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:10:13 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 1:

I'm just here to talk to Shanita. I used to live in Wilford and it is not no sun downtown. It is just fine. Everybody was welcoming. I don't know what she's talking about. Maybe she just had personally a bad experience. I don't know. But living out there, I was fine.

00:10:30 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 4:

Where do you live now, Tanisha?

00:10:32 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 1:

I live in Wayne now. I lived in West Bloomfield, graduated from West Bloomfield. All right. Go Lakers. So then we moved. Thank you. So then we moved to Milford, and now I live in Wayne with my husband. But Milford is fine.

00:10:45 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's a beautiful area.

00:10:47 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 3:

Hey, everybody, welcome in Milford.

00:10:48 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 4:

Hey, hold on a second. Our boss, Tony Travato, is on with us right now, feeding the animals right now on the farm. Tony, how are you?

00:10:56 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 2:

it's early but they have to eat okay tony so you seriously get up and go feed all the animals every day no they're not that much work really who feeds them whose job is that i've got a few chickens and a couple of goats i don't have we're like uh light farmers so the bacon that mojo ate

00:11:21 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 3:

was not from anybody on your farm. Are you sure?

00:11:25 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 4:

I just want to make sure. These guys all thought... It did from Kroger. It did? Okay. Tony, I have to tell you, I thought that not only was it a spectacular graduation party, but I am obsessed, and my wife even more so is obsessed, with your way that you live, that you live on a farm. Chelsea likes it so much because you don't get to see neighbors. Like for Chelsea, Chelsea's not wanting to see anybody. Yeah. Like she's she's kind of like wants to be by herself. But that was that was pretty cool.

00:11:56 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 2:

Well, you can walk out the back door. Doesn't matter what you're wearing. Nobody's going to see whatever you have or don't.

00:12:06 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 4:

Do you leave? I know this is bad for you to answer because some people, you know, will assume I'm going to go to your house and rob it. But do you just walk out your door and not lock it? Like I like triple lock and then turn on my ADT. like what do you do when you leave your house oh no you lock you still lock the door okay all right

00:12:24 - 00:12:31 | Speaker 2:

uh that that was i think you lock it more because you don't know you know somebody

00:12:31 - 00:13:07 | Speaker 4:

is hiding in the bushes or you know this isn't canada there's some animal some animal hiding i i have to tell you that it was so cool to see that that this is your way of life and i think that what is the radio trade magazine is it ink or radio ink yeah can they do a uh profile on the fact that this man like by day programs radio stations in major market cities by night he's got a freaking set of chickens and goats and stuff this is unbelievable well i mean it's just

00:13:07 - 00:13:12 | Speaker 2:

hey we're all different right we've all got i love different things we do and different places we live

00:13:12 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 3:

We want to know if we can have a bonfire at your house.

00:13:16 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 2:

Come on out. Come on out. Plenty of space.

00:13:20 - 00:13:26 | Speaker 4:

How do you know he's not having one right now? We're going to smell you. We're going to come in here. You know how you always smell like a bonfire after a bonfire?

00:13:26 - 00:13:27 | Speaker 2:

I love that smell.

00:13:27 - 00:13:31 | Speaker 4:

Did Nick have a good graduation yesterday, Tony? Were you emotional?

00:13:32 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 2:

It was awesome, yes. In fact, you and I were texting half the time.

00:13:36 - 00:13:37 | Speaker 4:

I told him to put his phone away.

00:13:37 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 2:

At the graduation. Yeah, he did, actually.

00:13:40 - 00:14:02 | Speaker 4:

Emily, I want to kidnap Emily. We never got a daughter. She'd be like the daughter you'd want to have. She's the best, yes. I agree. Tell her if she ever wants to get off the farm. Chelsea and I will adopt. All right, buddy. I'll see you in a little bit here when you get back to the studios.

00:14:52 - 00:14:53 | Speaker 3:

Bring some eggs.

00:14:54 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 4:

Do you think you'll smell him when he walks in, Shannon, just to see if he smells anything like farming?

00:14:57 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 3:

He looks slightly creepy, but.

00:14:59 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:15:00 - 00:15:21 | Speaker 3:

And start sniffing Tony and see. Oh, my God. It smells like a cow pie. We'll talk to you later, Tony. Hi, Tony. Tony was in bed, wasn't he, Lydia? Did you wake him up out of bed? Yeah, I did. Next time, by the way, that you do wake him up, let me do it. And I'm just going to do this for him. Time for work. All right.
